Since latest update why when I click a tab to read that page (not closing it) it removes that tab? big headache

since the latest update, if I have three tabs open and select one to read it is automatically closed. I didn't X it out. There is also a scroll tab icon pops up whenever I want to enter a username or password and I have to click three or four times until I'm allowed to enter any information.
This new update is making it difficult to use Firefox.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

There is no Pro version of QuickTime X. By default, QuickTime 7 is not installed in Snow Leopard, you must choose it as an option. QT 7 is the one you apply your Pro info on.
To install it after the fact, you can insert the second gray disk your Mac came with and double click the extras installer package. Then choose QT 7. Or, just download QT 7 from Apple.
Once installed, launch QT 7 (it will be in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder). Go to the preferences and enter your Pro activation data.
Note though that this will not do a thing to help stuttering on playback. The Pro activation allows you to save QuickTime movies and other features that the player alone will not do.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
First you should try logging out of your iTunes Store account (settings > iTunes Store > accounts) and then back in again.
If that doesn't help, try resetting the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings). You should also try restarting your router.
If both of the above don't help, you should try a restore (Settings > General > Reset > Restore).

Why, when i click a requested popup link, does the popup open as a full-screen tab, not as a sized popup as per the link parameters?

i am building a webpage with requested popup links. other browsers show me a popup as expected but firefox just opens the popup in a new tab, no sizing, nothing.

Since latest update to airport extreme im getting 10 unknown base station and time capsule items showing in airport utility as a network. when able to "forget" them they initially drop off but soon return. how do i get them deleted and stay that way

since latest update to airport extreme im getting 10 unknown base stations and time caps showing up as though they are a part of my network. sometimes i can "forget" them and they will disappear initially but soon return. i need and want only my connection inside my home . any ideas. i have done a factory reset and set up a new network but they continue to show up.

I'm not convinced that the problem lies in Airport Utility. This same thing was happening to me, nearly exactly as you describe it. The thing is that with me, the problems clearly started when I updated the firmware in my Airport Express (n). That's when all the wacky stuff started happening. Sometimes it would show up in AU, sometimes it didn't and even if it didn't, I could still access the internet through it.
But as you said, the problems got really bad when another Express (b/g) was put on the network with it. Even when it did work, the (b/g) would make it impossibly slow.
You know more about this than me, and clearly have more patience if you've restarted the network fifty times. I gave up at about ten.
In any case, your solution is more of a work around and if you're still having that slow connection problem, I'm not sure you've got it. But thanks for your reporting of this. At least I know I'm not crazy.

If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
    1.    Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
    2.    Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
    3.    Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
    4.    Open iTunes.
    5.    Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore.
(You may already have a micro USB cable if you have a camera or other digital device)

Why does Firefox 32.0 keep prompting me to update, then failing to get past the "connecting to update server" when I click the "update now" button?

Happens with annoying frequency. The fresh install of 32.0 is barely a month old but this has been happening since a few days afterwards. I have let the update window run for up to 20 minutes. Nothing happened, ever. Apparently it never actually connects. Nor will it update automagically when I click on the "About" line on the Firefox menu bar dropdown.

If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then best is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox application and save the disk image file to the desktop

It should have noted that the backup was complete on the backup page. Try rebooting your computer and try it again.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer

In the normal course of events, you can update by just running the iTunesSetup.exe. No special precautions need to be taken (beyond those you usually take with an update, or just in general, like maintaining a current backup).

Have lost Hotmail since latest update

There are several possible causes for this issue. Take each of the following steps until it's resolved.
1. Follow the instructions in this support article.
2. Reset the System Management Controller.
3. If you're using a Bluetooth trackpad, investigate potential sources of interference, including USB 3 devices.
4. A swollen battery in a MacBook Pro or Air can impinge on the trackpad from below and cause erratic behavior. If you have trouble clicking the trackpad, this is likely the reason. The battery must be replaced.
5. There's a report that a (possibly defective) Thunderbolt Ethernet adapter can cause the built in trackpad of a MacBook to behave erratically. If you're using such an adapter, disconnect it and test.

7. If the cursor movements stop at once, you should suspect an intrusion.

Why can we no longer Airprint from our iPads since latest update 8.1.
Also finding screen freezes for a short time frequently and a Google search often closes.
Neither of us were experiencing any problems before update.
