Since the new iPod Touch 5G came out

Is it possible to turn in a iPod Touch 4G, that is still in warranty, to get the new 5G?

I do not really know. Here is what Apple says.

    Apple has not announced any new iPod models. When they do, we'll all find out at the same time, I would guess, since the announcement will be prominent on every Apple-related web site and will probalby be posted in multiple threads in these forums.

    Sounds like you need a new battery.  I would make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store to confirm.  Apple will replace the battery for $79.  A third-party place like the folloing may be less expensive.  Google for more places.

    It's probably due to the RAM and processor limitations.

But once again if you can clarify please: Let's say I want to purchase the new white iPod Touch (introduced October 2011), will it have the 8 MP camera and improved optics? I'm wondering because I love to take photos and use photo-sharing apps, and I've read so many great reviews on the outstanding camera of the iPhone 4S - but I can't afford the iPhone just yet (also because of my current phone contract) so I was wondering if the newest iPod Touch camera is the same as iPhone 4S. I have the iPod Touch 4th gen, the one introduced Sept 2010, and as you may know that camera isn't the best. I just want to take better photos to share.

    You would have to ask the makers of the docking stations that question. Belkin has a dock now that uses Apple's Lightning cable:

    so all it basically does is provide a stand and pass through the headphone jack. There's at least one other dock here:

    If you're referring to Apple's Universal Dock, there have been no indications that they will make any new dock, though of course none of us here know their plans for future products.

    For recording video , the 720P HD video camera at the back is amazing quality when their is enough lighting. You would be pretty amazing what a little device such as the iPod Touch can do.
