Single photo removal from iPad2 files

How do I remove pictures from files/albumns without removing them from other files or albumns. After copying pictures from "Photos", Last in or dated Events file into a newly developed titled albumn, I've tried to delete the original picture from the above three files. I get a delete message "these photo are used in other locations, do you want the remove from all". I don't but it doesn't give me the option to remove only from these files??? Do I need an APP? I don't see any instructions in manual. Rabbit

VI Analyzer "Some VIs and/or tests have been added to or removed from your file system since you last saved this configuration file."

When I run VI analyzer and open our standard config file, the message "Some VIs and/or tests have been added to or removed from your file system since you last saved this configuration file." appears. Upon clicking OK, selecting something to analyze, and moving on to the VI Analyzer - Select Tests dialog, the Tests selection control is completely empty and the Analyze button is greyed out.
I'm runing LabVIEW 2013 on Windows 7, VI analyzer did work before, and I have tried both repairing and uninstalling LabVIEW (then reinstalling) already. If I do not select a config file or try to reset all test configurations, the Tests control remains empty.
Is there any way to reinstate the tests, or fix just the VI Analyzer toolkit?
The only thing that I remember changing since I last ran the analyzer is that I installed DIAdem.

That is unfortunate.
Perhaps the Tools network needs a tweak
But, I had assumed you had your SSP up to date and LabVIEW 2014 installed. The download would have worked then

Photos that have been removed from sync files are stuck on my iPod.

I have a 30g iPod. After loading some photos by syncing files I deleted some photos from the files. This should have removed them from my iPod. Right? However, the pictures still show up in my photo library. Also, they are pixilated. I have tried removing all photos, deleting the cache, and the 5 R's all with no luck removing these bad photos.
Also where is the phone number for the one time phone support. My iPod is about 3 weeks old.

How did you try removing all the photos? Did you access the iPod HD through My Computer and delete everything in the photos folder, or did you uncheck the option in iTunes?
Try both of these (and if you need help with one of them, just let us know).

Sorry if this was asked before but, how can I transfer a photo album from my iPad2 to a Mac computer using Lion? Somehow iPhoto on my Mac can't find my photo album on the iPad. Album doesn't show up in iTunes either.

For photos taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites then see this page : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083
For photos that were originally synced from a computer you will need a third-party app such as Simple Transfer (which has a free lite version called Simple Photo & Video Transfer) which can copy them off via your wifi network. But as photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to the iPad, any that you then copy back to a computer may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer.

Single photo transfer from PC to Ipod

I would like to transfer one or two photos individually from my PC to my Ipod Classic. How do I do this without a complete sync?

My son has done this on our Mac but I'm not sure if it'll work on a PC. He created a album that only had 1 picture in it and then synced only that album.

Can you upload photos from the ipad2 to say, Facebook or other websites? I have a MacBook but can't get it online, the airport isn't working. I have transferred pics to the iPad for uploading. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes you can. First you'll want to get the application for wherever you want to upload to -- Facebook as an example.
Then you can log in to your account, and from your wall it should let you click the photo button and choose to upload a photo from your album.
Friendly for iPad is a very good Facebook substitute. I'm sure others have their favorite apps as well.

Executable permissions removed from resource files

when DVD pro burns DVDs it removes the executable permissions from programs/installers that are stored on the DVD? (via DVD-ROM >> Content)
how can i keep the executable permissions? i currently zip the files but this is not an acceptable solution.

Sorry I have just noticed that after clicking OK and re-opening the Setup properties the DLL is not removed but the data subfolder where it is located gets relocated in Source Files -> Destination View to one folder level up

Can you export a single photo album from Iphone 4 to your computer

I created a photo album of vacation photos and would like to export that specific album to my computer. Can that be done or do I have to create a new folder in my computer and sort through the entire camera roll download again?

You can only import photos from your camera roll.

If you have all your music on the cmputer then i would connect up my phone uncheck the Sync Music option and apply.
This should take all the music off your phone .Then you can resync the music back on to it.
If this doesn't work maybe a restore to factory settings and start from scratch is the way to go

IPhoto shows and imports triplicates (triple duplicates) of iPhone photos – On iPhone only single photos shown

I recently plugged in my iPhone, only to see that when the contents of the device were shown in iPhoto, there were triples, or "triplicates" of every photo (this put the total around 10,000 photos). Meanwhile, on my iPhone's Photos app, everything looks normal with only single photos being shown.
I toiled over how to remedy the problem, and found I had no other choice but to spend the MANY hours syncing thousand upon thousands of duplicate photos/videos to my iPhoto library. I then broke down and purchased Duplicate Annihilator to clean up my now ruined library. Because iPhoto made all those duplicates, the file size compounded into many gigabytes. Duplicate Annihiliator had to run for hours before finally cleaning things up. It did it's job well, however the root of the problem still remains.
At the conclusion of transferring my entire library of photos from iPhone to iPhoto, I had the photos removed from the iPhone so I could start with a clean slate. I took a few sample photos and plugged the iPhone back in to iPhoto. Yet again, the dreaded triple duplicates, or "triplicates" of each photo I took show in the device preview window (i.e. I took 5, non-HDR photos, and 15 are shown—each repeated three times). If I proceed to import the collection, it imports triple of everything into my library.
Essentially, my situation now is: I have to import multiple copies of everything (takes longer), then I have to run Duplicate Annihilator each time to keep my iPhoto library from being a mess. Just wastes tons of time. How can I keep iPhoto from showing and importing all these multiple copies every time? Again, on the iPhone end, everything looks normal—only a single copy of each photo.
What I have tried:
Closing/restarting iPhoto
Checking for iPhoto updates (there are none, I'm on the latest version—which, as of this writing, is 9.2.3 629.52)
Deleting com.apple.iPhoto.plist from ~/library/Preferences/
Using Image Capture (triple duplicates still show in IC as well)
Disabling Photo Stream
Removing all photos and albums from iPhone

I am seeing this problem still, even after trying the Photo stream toggle trick that was mentioned. I have one otehr observation to add.
If I "Command"+select the first of each photo in iPhoto and then import those (choosing to Delete after import), then the next refresh of iPhone pictures oniPhoto will show all the photos (including the duplicates) gone. So basically something like this.
1) iPhoto - I see triplicates of pictures on my iPhone.
2) Command+Select the first instance of each duplicated picture.
3) Import the selected pictures. Choose to Delete the pictures after import.
4) Go back to iPhone in iPhoto. No more duplicates of the pictures I imported.
So this doesn't fix the problem as all the unimported photos still show triplicates, but al least I don't have to run a de-duper on my laptop now to eliminate triplicates.
This eliminates some of the hassle, but it's still a hassle.
I hope someone figures this out completely because it's making me hate iPhoto just a little bit.

Deleting data from text files

Hi there,
I am having a real battle trying to delete data from a text file I am using. There seems to be this giant cloud with Java, where there is no real easy way to delete text from a file??
I have a JFrame with two textfields on it where you enter the username and pcname. There is a OK button once you have entered those details.
On action event I would like those two details, to be removed from the text file that has been read in.
I have a text file like this:

The data above gets written no problem, one at at a time using the below.

Now what I would like is that when the text that we got from the textfields, using getText(), be removed from the file without destroying the rest of the records in there? Why is it so easy to add and replace files, but not do any deleting from them?

There are obviously limits to what can be stored in Photo Stream and for how long.
