Siri won't open Pandora on my iPhone 4S

I cannot for the life of me get Siri to open Pandora, she will open any other apps. Any ideas?

I'm having the same **** excat issue, Siri seems to open only the Apple apps, other than the apple apps I get the message "You don't seem to have an app name 'the name of the none apple app'."
I try to open facebook, and you see the question recognized by siri and spelled correctly but when it opens the app it opens Passbook instead of facebook! it's frustrating! iphone 4s, ios 6.1.1 clean restore ...what's going on!
Apple don't seem to get their act togther anymore!

HT204389 Siri won't open my apps

So I just got the iphone 5 and I updated it with my old iphone 3gs. When I ask Siri to launch any one of my many apps, she tells me that I don't have the apps I ask for. Does anyone else have this problem? What can I do about it?

You must have not read my post right. I know how to use Siri, but she won't open any of my apps when asked too.

Attachments won't open in "Mail" on iPhone

I can't open the attachments that I receive in an email in "mail" on my iPhone, I used to be able to do it but can't anymore, I know I haven't changed any settings.
Can anyone please help?

I'm not running it on Exchange, just regular email. The same will happen, I can see the attachment but when I tap it, nothing happens, it just won't open. I have also tried all types (word, excel, pdf, etc).
At the Apple Store they told me to do a "hard reset" (Press the Home Button and the top button and hold until it restarts) but it's still not working.
If anyone has an idea, please help.

I'm also experiencing the same problem. I've seen a supposed fix by deleting 2 files /var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.apple.LaunchServices-045.csstore.bak
/var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.apple.mobile.installation.plist
I believe the above solution is for jail broken phones, and mine is NOT.

Siri won't open apps

I just updated to iOS 7. Everything seems to be working fine, except that Siri won't launch any apps. She will say, "I don't see an app named ..." I've tried it with apple apps and other apps. She always says the same thing.

Finally, I was able to fix this by doing a reset on my iPad (Erase all data and settings). I was trying to avoid this as it was quite cumbersome, but I had pretty much tried everything else and nothing worked. Now, Siri is opening apps, but unfortunately, I lost some of my books during the resetting process. Hopefully, this will work for everybody.

ITunes won't open automatically after connecting iPhone

Maybe I missed the discussion on this but I did search first. I just bought an iPhone 4s and had already upgraded to iTunes 10.5. iTunes will not open when the iPhone is initially plugged in. I can manually open iTunes and it works fine. 'Open iTunes when this iPhone is connected.' is checked and the 'helper' process is running. Any ideas?

HT201304 I put the Siri choice on On to see what would happen and then I turned it back Off and now Siri won't open at all.. It just goes to the voice cover option

I was going through the setting and just playing with my phone and I came along the restrictions and I put in the code.. By accident I turned the Siri restriction on and now when I hold the home button Siri doesn't come up Vocie Control opens

You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.<br />

Iphoto won't open the pix from iphone camera role

i've rebooted the phone and all that shows in iphoto when it's mounted the iphone is the white dotted thumbnail frames, but no pix and when trying to still import, says cannot import the numbe rof pix there...not sure how to fix this..this happened once before with an ipod from years ago, and someone gave me a fix, and i wonder if something similar would work...except if it would, i still don't remember it... any help would be appreciated...

I have the same issue after upgrading to iOS4 my iPhone 3GS. It transfers pictures though, I just cannot see thumbnails, not a worst thing in the world by irritating nevertheless. If you will remember that trick you were told - post it here

Backup failed / Apps Won't Open / Cannot Sync VZ iPhone 4

I need help!!
I updated iTunes today...after updating iTunes I attempted to sync my phone and I received numerous errors and the sync failed. Now none of my Apps will run (I try to open an app...it opens for a second and then closes). I tried to use my install backup option...but it fails and says my backup is corrupt. I've rebooted and did all the normal troubleshooting junk...but none of it is working.

I tried that as well and 2 out 5 above apps that wasn't loading are now working. The other 3 kept crashing on me...probably going to bring it in to apple and let them check it out.

.pages file created in Pages for Mac won't open in Pages for iPad

Just created a pages document on my Mac, saved it to my google drive and when attempting to "open in" from my google drive the file won't open in pages for iPhone or iPad (mini).
All versions of Pages are on latest release.
Messge reads:
Document can't be imported.
The file format is invalid.
I download both the mac app and ios app a week ago.

I've been testing file structures via google drive this morning and have yet to find a solution.
Compressed files will not open in Pages on the ipad and an upload to Google Drive of a .pages document re downloaded to my desktop will no longer open in Pages on the Mac.
Somewhere in the google ecosystem during upload or download / "open in" (on the ipad) the file is being restructured so that it cannot be recognized.
An hour call with the team at Google hasn't supplied an answer yet and they have opened a case file to investigate.
I'll update when I hear back.

Hello! So, my iPhone 4s fell down and now it won't open. I've tried to turn it on by holding simultaneously the home and lock button but nothing happens. I've plugged it in to its charger but all it does is vibrating constantly. Any suggestions?

Try resetting the iPhone.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
It won't open or download!
If that doesn't help tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings

Can you access the material via the Finder or Image Capture (in your Applications Folder) ?

After the 6.1 update on iphone 5 the camera virtual shutter won't open

After the 6.1 update on iphone 5 the camera virtual shutter won't open so I cannot use the camera at all.
I have tried most things suggested in the web like hard/soft shut down, reopen app, restore from backup. Any other suggestions? It should be a software problem right?

The problem is more than likely being cause by corruption that occured during the iOS install or in the backup that was used to restore the phone after the update.
Standard troubleshooting is:
Re-boot the phone
Restore the phone from your backup
Restore the phone as a new device.
One of the 3 should fix the problem.
