Size of Icons!?

I must have hit something on my keys to trigger this, like a shortcut or whatnot.
Every time I create a new track, my icons for the track are HUGE, the biggest they can be. And when I change the size of all my tracks they don't change, the stay nice n' big.
How do I turn this feature off?
Thanks.

either
Individual track zoom reset for all tracks
or
Auto track zoom

  • When I change size of icons or icon vs list display, why does it affect the whole computer?

When I change size of icons, or icon vs list display, why does it affect the whole computer? In some folders I want to see a list and others I want to see an icon and I don't need a large icon in all folders. I used to be able to set each folder separately in the old OS. How do I fix this?

I can hilight an item, go to the finder/file/getinfo but there is no box next to icon view.
I can go to view/options and adjust the icon size etc, but this applies to every folder in the whole computer. I need varied options in different folders, i.e., I want to view images as icons and text as text. I have to change it every time I open a folder. I used to be able to set it per folder in the old OS.

  • How to reduce the size of icons and descriptions of pallets?

    Hi!
    1. The "Control bar" is still something missing and to display the location of the same functions are different depending on the selected tool.
Therefore, the tools will I need to keep an eye on pallets or icons. But description of the pallets is too great for me, takes place and I can not see as many pallets as I need.
    2. The idea to create multiple workspace and its continuous change is not good for me.
When I work I prefer to have the tools at its one location, then I can rely on My reflexes when choosing a tool, and not constantly look where this time or constantly switch the workspace.
    3. How to reduce the size of icons and descriptions of pallets I, then he could fit more pallets in one column?
    Best Regards!

    Hi Monika,
Nice to read you again. Thank you for your response.
Yes, I read. It does not solve the problem about which I write. I guess that solves your opinion? Please hint.

Click Finder, view, show view options, and then set icon size. You can size them and see the effects to choose what works for you.

  • How to save the size of icon

I'm using OS X Mountain Lion now. And there're two hard disks in my MacBook Pro, system and apps are on the SSD, others are on the HDD.
Everytime after I reboot Mac or restart Finder, the size of icons in "All my files" becomes so...huge!!!
Even after I use disk utility to repair disk permissions, it still doesn't work...
I just want the system can remember my setting of the icon size in "all my files"...TAT
    (so huge...so ugly...)

AFAIK, there's no way to increase the size of a single icon on your Desktop: just a Finder preference that will increase or decrease the size of all icons:
Sorry - maybe someone else knows how to do it - I don't...

You can use some extensions to achieve this.
    * Theme Font & Size Changer: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/theme-font-size-changer/
You can use the NoSquint extension to set font sizes (text/page zoom) and text colors on web pages.

  • Recovered data show normal file size but icon is different and wont open

We recently had an old lacie drive go bad. got dropped one too many times or whatever.. not our fault but its for an important client.. drive had 200 GB of files.. a lot of stuff.. we took it to recovery and returned 80GB.. not bad.. among the recovered files were the ones we wanted.. and more... more than half retained their full file name.. so we know... but usually the icon for audio file is two red and blue waves. when we saw the icons that we had tried to save on the main computer they were black and white. but they still portrayed
37.6 MB.. like a full normal file... on the recovered data we see the same file size, but the icon is a blank paper with the corner folded over.. we try to import it to pro tools but it wont import.. i think it was recorded in logic but i doubt that matters.. its just audio... im sure the proper info is in there but we have to get the applications to recognize it.. we tried opening it in different apps, but it simply wont.. is it an extension problem? will restore fix it? how should i do it? i appreciate any help!

i tried changing the extension. i changed the icon but it still wont open. the files are sd2f. apple info will not allow a test sounding. sample and bit rate are not displayed. i gotta get these to open up. what should i do?

  • How do you adjust the size of icons in folders?

I downloaded an application and inside it's folder in applications, the icons are gigantic. Larger than all my other icons. Is there like a size adjustment somewhere? They also move around weird when I try to drag them which I think had something to do with their size.

    Hello friend18,
When you have the folder open go to the View Menu>Show View Options. There should be a slider that will adjust the icons to where you would like and then tick the box for This Window Only.
let us know if that is not the problem.

  • Changing size of icons in sub folders

I know how to change the size of the icons in one folder or of all icons. How can I change all of the icons in my 'Pictures' directory and not all of the other directories?
    iMac   Mac OS X (10.4.9)

Actually, you can't mess up folders that already have an individual preference set. When you inadvertantly leave the All Folders button checked and set up something, it does NOT apply to folders that already have custom settings, but only to new folders or folders you have never opened. Just open a folder you want smaller icons in, then change the icon size to what you want, leaving the default All Folders. Any folder you already set individually to 128x128 will retain its individual setting, but any folder you have not already set, nor already opened with some other setting in place, and all new folders, will have your new setting.

  • After dn/load 5, Google mail scroll dn arrow hidden behind alter page size triangular icon making scroll inoperative

    I am running Windows 7.
I downloaded the update to Firefox (now 5) with the result that the scroll arrow in the bottom right hand corner is now sharing that space with the small triangular icon that alters the size of the viewed page. Scrolling down can be achieved in the normal manner, by clicking on top right hand arrow but to scroll up I have to click on the right hand bar etc.. To click on the bottom arrow only results in the page reducer taking over with the scroll arrow obsolete. Any ideas without telling me to reinstate Firefox 4 ??? I mourn the loss of Google toolbar!!! • Font type, size, etc. icons on my AOL "Compose Mail" are msissing

    Hum...
Well, first of all, let me make it clear that plugins (a type of add-ons accessed through ''Tools > Add-ons > Plugins'') are not directly controlled by Firefox. They can only be enabled and disabled in Firefox, but not installed and uninstalled. So you'll need to be aware of them too. Running safe mode to disable add-ons will cover those, though.
If you've covered plugins as a possible source of the problem, have you tried creating a new temporary Firefox profile ([http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Managing+profiles managing profile])? If you've re-installed Firefox completely (deleting your data), you've basically done this, except you've deleted your own profile unnecessarily (unfortunately).
If the new profile has the same problem, check your Firewall/antivirus/security suite settings. Some software (like external ad blockers) may block certain parts of the web. I don't know if that's the case here, but it's conceivably possible. I believe Mac OS provides a safe mode for the operating system. If you can run Firefox while in safe mode of your Mac OS, and Firefox still has the same problem, you know it's not a problem with third party software or with your operating system.
Have you contacted the site's owner to ask them if this is a known issue for them? It's possible that the site itself is simply not working with Firefox, for whatever reason...

  • How do I change font size on icons?

I am struggling to see the fonts on icons & Safari. How do I change the size?

CONTROL-Click anywhere on your desktop, or in a folder, and choose "Show View Options".
From there, you can select the font size, as shown in this image. Here, I have selected "16".
You can do this in any folder.
In Safari, select "zoom in" & "Zoom Text Only" in the VIEW menu.
