Size of Inspector in Numbers is too small

I'm using Numbers for a project and I need to make several charts. However, the Inspector window is getting increasingly smaller each time I try to use it. I now cannot use it because all of the options are basically hidden - meaning the window is so condensed, I can't even see what my options are. How can make the window bigger? Thank you.

Okay, when I open up the Inspector, for example, I click on the Sheet tab. I can only see the bottom of the window - just the Top, Bottom, Header, and Footer boxes.
The only time I've seen anything similar is when I've changed the resolution of the display, using System Preferences. You might try resetting the screen resolution to see if that brings the top of the Inspector dialogue back into view.

Hi the fnt size in the menu bar is too small (unreadable). How can I increase the font size. I have a new Samsung PC with high resolution screen.

You must mean Photoshop Elements 11, not Photoshop.
There is no ability to change the size of the menu font in PSE 11.

  • XP - Backup folder size in username \Application Data seems too small.

    Hi All,
I just checked the size of the backup in my C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Mobilesync\Backup and the folder is only small. Approx 12 MB
What information does this hold? Data from applications (games, etc.), text messages, contacts? In iTunes it says there is much more data than this on the capacity measurement bar.
I'm about to do a restore, but having second thoughts. I'm thinking that it hasn't been backed up correctly...

  • I have set text size to Auto but it starts too small

I have created a form in Acrobat Pro 9, and set text size to Auto in all fields.
I know it is limited to the height of the field, but  one of the fields is a block for multi-line paragraghs.  Size is set to Auto, font to Times Roman.  When I open the file in Reader to test it, it looks like it's starting at 12 points.  It goes down from there as the whole block is filled with text, but I'd like it to start at around 18.
    Advice?

as I mentioned, this one field is a block for multi-line paragraghs.  It's one, large text block, taking up the bottom half of the form, so that users can input multiple paragraphs of text (they're telling their story).  Some people will write a lot, some less.  That's why I set it to Auto, so that the shorter stories would be in larger text, but longer stories will still shrink to fit.
It works, but I want to know if their is a way to get the text to start out at a larger font size before auto-sizing-to-fit.  I mean, Something is telling the font to start at 12 point...
Should I attach the form to this discussion?  (How do I do that?)

  • How do I re size lettering in Firefox (letters are too small, need to make 100%)

How do re-size lettering so it is larger. Example it my explorer I change to 100%, 150%, or 75% for context reading. Right now I am at 150% size scale for reading, I want to change to 100%, so lettering is larger. I went to tools, and did not see a sizing scale.

CTRL+0 (<--that is a zero) will reset your zoom level on affected pages. Firefox remembers the zoom level you last used on a page.
If that does not fix the problem, you can try renaming the file (''with Firefox closed; Firefox button > Exit or File > Exit'') '''''content-prefs.sqlite''''' to content-prefs.sqlite.old (or delete the file) in the Profile Folder to reset the page zoom on all sites. That file will be re-created when you restart Firefox.

  • Photoshop Font Sizes too Small on High Resolution Screen

On my Toshiba Satellite P55T 4K the Photoshop fonts and tool menus are so small that they are very difficult to read.  I have set the UI fonts to the largest size, but they are still way too small. Is there a way to further increase the font and tool menu sizes?

You must have a very high resolution screen, also called HiDpi.
If you have Photoshop CC 2014, you can go to Edit > Preferences > Experimental Features and checkmark "Scale UI 200%"
If you have CC, CS6, or below, there is no way to scale the UI as of yet. There may not be. These products are no longer being updated.
At best I can recommend reducing the resolution down to around 1400 px horizontal. That's not the native resolution and defeats the purpose of having a Hidpi screen.
So only thing left aside from returning the laptop, is to work with a large external monitor, or for $10/monthly, join the Photography Plan and you can use CC 2014 and the 200% UI.

  • Too Small on Webpage

I am totally new to all of this, so I need some assistance.
I've made a quick table, and I was reading on a site that it
was a recommended 700x400 pixels for size.
But that looks way too small on a webpage. I have it set to
    100%.
    Any tips for me?

I realy cannot imagine what you are describing without seeing

  • N9 Font too small!!

I received my N9 three days ago and i am so disappointed at the font size. The fonts are way too small and totally unacceptable! I sold my Nokia 700 because the font on that device was so small i just couldn't use it and bought the N9. I figured the N9 with its 3.9" screen the font size would be comparable to the iPhone 4 but boy was i wrong. The fonts on the iPhone 4 are so much bigger! i purchased both the 700 and N9 online so i had no way of knowing the font would be so damn small.
Why are the fonts so small for SMS Messaging?
Why are they so small on the missed call/sms lock screen?
Why is the date on the lock screen so small?
The software guys at Nokia know how to fix this but they refuse. It's not that hard for them to do it. This font size shouldn't even be an issue if they took the time to properly develop the OS for it. I've even heard the Lumia 800 has small fonts.
I've been a loyal Nokia customer for years having owned a 6300 and C3-01 before because they build quality products except this font issue is driving me nuts! Am i supposed to sell my N9 and get an Iphone now?
NOKIA PLEASE ADDRESS THIS ISSUE ON YOUR NEXT UPDATE! MAKE THE FONTS BIGGER! ITS GOT A 3.9" SCREEN FOR CRYIN OUT LOUD!!

Please update to PR1.2 when available, it contains some changes to improve the readability of the UI texts.
the fonts in pr1.2 are smaller than pr1.1.
it is not so much that they are actually "smaller" as the css files in the device show them being the same, with exception to the lockscreens (those were made smaller), but the issue is more with the font style that they changed it to.
someone go and grab a wp7.5 device and then hold your nokia n9 on pr1.2 next to it.  the fonts are closer in likeness now unlike the pr1.1.
so the new fonts are a "thinner" look to them, making them seem smaller.  but they are more "crisp"
I changed my fonts to script, and even with the settings in pr1.2, they are the same as pr1.1, so it is the font, and not the "size"

  • Photoshop Elements UI font too small on high-resolution display

    Hi,
I have recently purchased a Dell XPS15 laptop with a QHD+ (3200x1800) display. The PC is running Windows 8.1. I have also purchased Photoshop Elements 12 to run on it.
With the display at the native resolution, it is necessary to have the "Change the size of all items" option in the display settings of Windows 8.1 set to "Larger", in order for the native Windows fonts and UI elements to be at a reasonable size. The laptop came with this option enabled by default.
However, disappointingly the UI font size in Photoshop Elements is way too small when the display is at the native resolution. The application is basically unusable.
I have tried setting the "Use system font" option in the General preferences, but this doesn't seem to help.
The only way I can get the Photoshop Elements UI font to a reasonable size, is by dropping the screen resolution (to say 1920x1080).
This seems like a terrible waste of a beautiful screen, particularly when my main reason for using the PC is for editing photos, and my photo management and editing software is preventing me exploiting the full resolution of the display.
I'd appreciate any help or suggestions.
    Thanks.

Unfortunately there is no option in PSE to vhange the UI fonts (other than switching to System Font' in preferences. So traditionally changing the Windows display font size has been the only workaround, and even that can cause problems with individual menus disappearing and being replaced with a hard to spot  >> drop-down menu.
If you have a dual-display system you could have the menus on the lower resolution screen with images on the hi-res.
    Cheers,
    Neale

  • Size of font on hardware (too small)

    Hi,
A general comment for the Linksys/Cisco design team, not sure where else to post this. I have several Linksys/Cisco products including the Linksys WTR54G travel router and the Linksys SPA2102 ATA. I find the printing on the hardware too small to read, especially in low light situations. I measured the font size on the ATA and the characters on the labels for the plug-in sockets is 1 mm high (that's like 1/8"). These are the words "Internet", "Ethernet", "Line 1", Line 2", "power", etc. On the travel router, the same thing, character size too small. There seems to be room to use much larger character sizes. If someone can pass this onto the team that designs the graphics on the hardware, that would be great.
    Thanks.

    Hi Sastry,
I tried what you said - I clicked the Font Button on Group Labels (which on my chart is on the Y axis) - it contains the names of the Reporting groups - I was able to make the names of the reporting groups (Sugery, Medical, etc.) larger than the default (which seems to be about 12) and then I thought, the thing that I an asking about - what is the label on the x axis (numbers generated by Crystal from 6-32 in the case of my graph) I should be able to change by going into the Data Label Font dialog box.
But I can't get these numbers to change size (which is what the user wants). They are still a tiny font (4 I think) no matter what I do.
    Any more ideas?
    Thanks,
    Dick

  • Mail font size has become too small

    Hi,
The font size in my mail is too small and changing preference size numbers has no effect.
    Umm. Ever heard of that?
    What should I do?
    Garrett

Are you talking about the font size for received messages?
If so, this is caused by the sender using HTML for message composition.
Copied from Why HTML in E-Mail is a Bad Idea.
Because it introduces accessibility problems. When you write in plain text, the receiving mail client renders the text in whatever font the reader chooses. When you format email with HTML, the sender controls the formatting. But this is a trap: You only think your message will render the same way to the viewer as it appears to the sender. In reality, the receiver can end up squinting because the font looks so tiny, or vice versa. HTML is not rendered the same way from one viewing client to the next - all guarantee of accessiblity goes out the window. This is especially problematic for visually impaired persons.
With such a message open, at the menu bar go to View > Message and select Plain Text Alternative and all text will be converted to your chosen Message Font and size selected at Mail > Preferences > Fonts & Colors.
There is also a Terminal command available that automatically converts message text composed in HTML to Plain Text for all received messages.
Sorry if you are referring to something else.

  • Open/save dialog boxes stuck at (too small) default size

I've been having a relatively small issue with Mountain Lion that has become a big hassle. In past versions of OS X, whenever I'd resize an open/save dialog box in an application, it would be that size the next time I went to open/save. In Mountain Lion, however, those dialog boxes always default to the smallest possible size (which is too small to read a filename longer than a few characters). so I have to resize the dialog box — every time! I open and save a lot of files, so this gets pretty tedious. This doesn't seem to happen in apple programs, but it definitely does in the Office Suite and the Adobe Creative Suite, especially in CS4 Photoshop and Illustrator. Might be I can fix it by myself but I can't imagine where I may dig it.

  • How do I make icons bigger? All icons are way too small for speedy use. no matter what I do they remain too small. Is there a way of getting them the same size as previous versions?

All icons, such as refresh page, back, forward, stop and home etc; are just too small for comfortable use. For now I am uninstalling Firefox 4 and going back to 3.x. even the zoom page icons are too small.

"I had read that GarageBand or the Musical Typing there can sometimes not display properly when the resolution is changed."
Well, did you checked GB after you changed your resolution?
Which setting did you change to?
You & I have the same size iMac screen. My resolution setting is 1280x800. Everything fits perfectly in the windows & on desktop including the menu bar.
All info in my windows are showing. I did not need to adjust my browser font size settings. I am sure you are aware of the browser font size settings. I use FF & the settings are in Preferences>Content.
In the Finder window you can enlarge the icons & fonts also.
    Finder>View>Show View Options.

  • How can I sort my photos by size?  I need to get rid of those which are too small to print.

Is there a way to sort individual photos in iphoto by size.  (I know you can sort photos in finder- picture by size, but mine are in iphoto). I am organizing my thousands of photos into files within iphoto in order to print hundreds.  I am finding that many are too small to ever print (20-30kb) , and would like to delete those en masse rather than waste time sorting them, but cannot find a way to do that.  Does anyone know if there is a way?  It would be a terribly useful function.  Also, sorting by size would enable you to resize photos that take massage amounts of room unneccesarily.  Thanks for any info.

No there is no way to do this.
Also, sorting by size would enable you to resize photos that take massage amounts of room unneccesarily.
No it wouldn't. There's no way to change the filesize in iPhoto, it always preserves the original file.
