  • Trouble with Adobe Reader Touch on Lenovo Yoga Pro 2 in tablet mode. Pdf shows up as blank pages.

I have a Lenovo Yoga Pro 2 and when I change it to tablet mode and use the Adobe Reader Touch app, my pdf shows up as a blank page. I have installed other pdfs in the past and those show up fine. However, as of three days ago, whatever pdf I install shows up as blank on my screen. Is there a solution to fix this?

Could you please share your test file?

  • Lenovo Yoga 8 Tablet stuck on boot screen

Hello!I have a Lenovo Yoga 8 Tablet and today I can't turn it on. It sticks on boot screen. I tried to factory reset but nothing changed. Any help?

Think I got it sussed ... now if I can only remember how I did it !!Several posts on this forum had the problem with it stuck on the Lenovo splash screen and Fumangord1 on here mentioned  "If you hold the volume buttons in and hold the power switch it should give you the boot options. Select the recovery mode with the up volume button then press the down volume to ok it. Mine comes upo with the android icon and NO COMMAND." Well, I tried this and got the same BUT went a bit further with it, just by pressing buttons in a random fashion ...When the Android robot icon comes up with NO COMMAND, I think I then pressed the ON button and another Boot drop down menu popped up.I think I tried this next bit twice, but can't remember which one worked, but just have a play with the new options to see which one works for you !?First I think I selected the top one which is something like REBOOT and I then the second time I tried the bottom option which is something like WIPE CACHE and hey presto .. . it now works with every app and setting intact !I'm only going by what I remember doing - it might not be quite right, but at least there does seem a way round the issue ! God know's why Lenovo themselves don't reply to these posts and tell us how to fix their bloomin' machines !!?? Good luck everyone !

  • How to get split screen on Lenovo Yoga Pro 2?

Hi! I recently purchased a lenovo pro 2 and I am loving it. Just one quick question, though. I know your able to have split screen (two completely separate windows on the same display, i.e have Google Chrome on the right half of the screen, and say Word on the other half of the screen). And I am not talking about Windows Snap Window feature.  I thought this was possible to do but have no clue on how to activate it. Thanks for any help in advance!
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

split screen only works on metro apps. you need to use the snap for desktop apps. You can run Metro IE and split screen it with MS Word.

  • After installing PhotoShop CS5.5 on my new Lenovo Yoga Pro all the icons in the tool bars are suddenly really small - I can hardly see them. Anyone know what to do to make them bigger?

    Please help

You can't - Photoshop CS5.5 is much older than the high res display on your laptop.
UI Scaling at 200% was added as a feature in Photoshop CC 2014, and will scale for your new high res display.

  • Anyone at Adobe got a solution for PS menus on hi-res laptops like Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro or Microsoft Surface? This was "frequently asked"  for months..." did I miss the fix?

I raised this issue AGAIN about a week ago and someone tried to defend the lack of progress with "... it takes time to upgrade software."  How much time is reasonable?  The world has been moving from desktops to laptops - and now to tablets - while Adobe seems to have been moving from Photoshop to Lightroom, Illustrator and InDesign. I use Photoshop on a decent desktop but am a photographer who exhibits in a gallery. When there I'd like a tablet (or YOGA thingie) that would let me flip through images to show people my work. It will look great on a hi-res display so the Lenovo Yoga Pro 2 w/near 4K image quality is appealing. But if I'm going to invest in a high-end laptop I'd like to be able to use it with Photoshop.to edit photos while not at my desktop. It's no good if you can't read the menus!
Just saw a blurb about Adobe investing $300 million in education. How about educating the engineers on the inside to solve this problem!  Saw another blurb about an on-line seminar coming up where you'll be telling us all about the "new stuff" coming our way. Unless it includes something called PhotoShop CCII which resolves this scaling problem I'm growing less and less interested in hearing about new stuff if you aren't going to take care of the old stuff.  Especially Photoshop which put Adobe on the map.

  • Lenovo Yoga 2 830LC tablet 8"

    1) There is a "Find icon" widget installed in this lenovo yoga 2 tablet, which is not visible in lenovo HD launcher, but ts available  in google now launcher? Although the widget is made for the lenovo launcher, its not appearing in options, any idea how to make it appear n the default launcher? the widget is used to find installed apps.
2)There is a breathing light while charging, around the power button, why don't the developers use it as notification light? May be a new firmware update will do the trick, but whom to contact for the suggestion?
3)double tap screen lock is there, how about double tap activation of screen?
4)Is there any download manager present wherefrom we can stop , delete or view progressing downloads from browsers? If not, then anybody with some suggestions?

  • CONNECT LENOVO YOGA 8 TAB TO VGA PROJECTOR

I am using LENOVO YOGA 8 tablet. I want to connect it wirelessly using following prodecure,
    1) connect my VGA projector to the LENOVO CH580 HDMI to VGA Adapter, hence i get a HDMI port for my VGA Projector
    2) connect that HDMI Male port to HDMI Female port
    3) Connect the LENOVO WIRELESS DISPLAY ADAPTER WD100-SL-IN to this HDMI FEMALE PORT.
    4) Finally using CAST SCREEN function on my LENOVO YOGA TAB 8, to connect to this LENOVO WIRELESS DISPLAY ADAPTOR.
Will this work or there is some better way to connect my VGA PROJECTOR to LENOVO YOGA 8 TABLET ?

    LENOVO WIRELESS DISPLAY ADAPTER WD100-SL-IN

    Solved!

    @Gamma30
I do this regularly with my Yoga 10.  In UK with KitKat.
I use a Tronsmart T1000 Miracast dongle which plugs into the HDMI socket of the TV, and has a separate USB lead which plugs into the TVs usb socket to supply power to the Tronsmart.  The key word in all this is "Miracast".  That is what the WD100 does but any Miracast dongle "should" work.
To "turn on" casting on the Yoga you go to Settings-Display-Cast Screen then touch the three dots top right and touch "enable wireless display".  It will search for Miracast adaptors nearby.  The Tronsmart appears.  Touch it and select "connect".
It can be a bit fiddly to get it to work first time, but persevere, it does work.  The Tronsmart, like a lot of these devices, uses EZCast software (you download it from PlayStore).  This allows you to configure the Tronsmart (confusing at first but eventually it makes sense).  Tronsmart has two modes, EZCast Mode and Miracast mode.  It has some interesting features in EZCast mode but you need to switch it to Miracast mode to get the casting to work.  You can change a Tronsmart setting to make it boot to Miracast mode by default.  This makes casting much easier in future.  If your initial experiance is like mine, expect an evening of puzzlement and iritation, but you'll get there in the end.  :-)
    Hope this helps.

  • Yoga Pro 2 - Lichthöfe werden mehr & größer

    Hallo...
Also was könnt oder würdet Ihr mir nun empfehlen ?

  • Lenovo Yoga 10 HD+ WIFI connection stability issue

Same problem here but on Lenovo Yoga 10 HD+ 3G:
After a few minutes the connection is gone though the tablet shows its still there at full level. Disabling / Enabling WIFI on the tablet makes it reconnect. On the same router e.g. Lenovo Yoga 8 Wifi Edition, Samsung Galaxy S3 and S3 mini all work fine and do keep the connection. Tested with latest firmware released OTA yesterday.
Also tried the Yoga 10 HD+ on two other WLAN routers where it worked fine.
Any ideas except for buying a new router?
Moderator Note; post moved to start new thread on specific system

I'm having the very same problem. I bought a Lenovo Yoga 10 tablet about a week ago and updated it to 4.4.2 (B8000_A442_001_021_140703_WW_WIFI) yesterday and ever since then, my wifi kicks out when I'm browsing, reading emails, checking twitter etc just all of a sudden and I have to disable and re-enable my Wifi for it to work again (aprox. 5-20 minutes until I have to reconnect again). I've not changed anything in my router settings (Netgear CG3100) since the upgrade and every other computer, tablet and phones that we have in our house runs all fine, it's just the Yoga tablet where I have this issue with. I really hope an update/fix could be pushed as soon as possible since it's unbearable to use it right now and I might just have to return it to the shop in exchange for another tablet, which I don't really want (love the battery life).
Eitherway, I'd be thankful for any help/fix or responds from Lenovo.

  • How to root Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 pro

I want to root my Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 pro (android version 4.4.2), but I dont want a bricked device. So, can someone please help me? Send a tutorial, download link..? I would be so greatful, thanks.

just reflash with intel's phone flash tool, and all is getting back to stock. no need to clean or other stuff... just select the flash.xml (not others xml). if you peek inside the file you will see that he is creating and formatting the partitions again so whatever was on your emmc (tablet's equivalent hd) is gone. as long as you didnt mess around with bios reflashing with that xml  will get you back in time to the place you were when you first started your tablet (assuming you are flashing the same rom)Lenovo implemented Secure Boot (or as we know it better as 'locked bootloader') so as long you didn't mess with bios (and i don't think you did) theres no way anyone could tell that the tablet was rooted sometime. the rooting method used now is "online" after the secure boot has done his job of starting the kernel.not my case coz i will sodomize my bios to bypass the secboot (i want to install linux and windows, just for fun, and this tablet would be fun for me running linux and a chroot with android, so that I WILL SECURE BOOT android ) and anyways i can get back anytime (worst case i have a flash burner)

  • Regarding the new update and lock screen backgrounds. Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 10 Android

Has anyone figured out how to change the lock screen background for the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2s yet?

Yes that is correct! Serene! I received the Yoga Tablet 2 10 from you.
The Yoga Tablet 10 I used in the comparison and the benchmarks was the one I won from Lenovo Belgium.

  • Tablet yoga pro 2 lenovo

Buenas noches.

Yes, it's possible and verified to work. I have a small tablet-powered USB OTG hub, a keyboard and a mouse - everything works quite nice.
