Skydrive upload

My 3g data connection with 3uk is much faster both upload and download than I can get on my home broadband, but the settings only allow saving to skydrive via wifi using best quality.
Is there any way of changing this so I can upload via 3g (4 time's faster than home bb) ?

No, unfortunately. Windows Phone only allows best quality uploads via WiFi.

Memory leak in LR.

I'm getting what appears to be a memory leak in LR. Is anyone else experiencing this ramp of memory usage as viewed in Task Manager. I have 32GB of DDR3 installed and LR takes it all and want's more. The ramp peaks with all of physical memory allocated to LR (~28GB) and a total of ~47GB allocated to the app. Once it hangs out in slowmageddon for awhile it drops back down to around 13GB and restarts the ramp (~ 30seconds or so) to full allocation again.
Does anyone have a clue what could be wrong with my installation?

Lumia 820 Photo Resolution Problem

Hi,
Can anyone help me solve why i cannot change the photo resolution on my Lumia 820?
When i check them on a PC they always come out at either 800x600 on 4:3 ratio or 800x450 on 16:9 ratio.
It's driving me mad there is no option in the photo settings or anywhere else in the phone to change this.
I read on another post that it can be related to skydrive uploading, although I have skydrive disabled and this problem still persists.

How did you download the photos to your pc? Photos uploaded to Skydrive are reduced in resolution by default unless you change the setting to Best Quality which requires wifi. To change this, goto Settings>Applications>photos+camera>Skydrive>Photos> Best quality
Other option to download high res is to connect phone to pc using USB.

SkyDrive to upload collected files?

Open the
SkyDrive site.

In the
Sign In page, if you own a Windows Live ID, please type your Windows Live ID and Password to sign in; Otherwise, you may click Sign Up to register a new one. See the following screen shot.

After signing in Windows Live, click Create folder.
4)     Name
the folder and edit permissions to share with relevant person.
Important Note: You
can share the folder with Everyone if there is no private/sensitive information (such as the screen shot of a prompt error message). To so so, simply select the "Everyone (Public)" option in the "Share with" box. Please refer to the following screen shot:
However, for private information that you do NOT want to be accessed by everyone, it is recommended to share with specified individuals. To do so, you can expand the "Share with" box, choose the "Select people..." option, and then type their

View Original. Press Ctrl + A, or Right Click and select Copy, to select it.

Navigate to your post textbox, and press Ctrl + V, or Right Click and select Paste, to paste the picture there.
Then, the picture will be successfully inserted in that thread.

I cant even open windows now!!!! it crashes mecilessly here is a copy of the only dump file i have. i retreved it from second life and cant copy it onto the clip board.

[SkyDrive] Files can't be uploaded because there's a problem with a file or folder.

On Windows 8.1 RTM, the SkyDrive metro client shows a message that "Files can't be uploaded because there's a problem with a file or folder." and lists one particular file. When I installed the PC, I have switched then Access all files offline
option to On.
The file resides in a directory I have deleted from the disk. When attempting to get rid of this "problem" (as there are no hints nor UI available) I have manually checked that the directory does not exists on the disk any more, as well as deleting
the directory from cloud storage using a web browser. However, the message is still there.
Restarting the computer several times nor keeping it idle for a significant amount of time did not help.
How to get rid of that "problem" / how to fix it?

Let’s try to redirect the skydrive folder and sync again to see what’s going on:
1. Open regedit and find following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\SkyDrive
2. Change “UserFolder” to another location.
3. Open the SkyDrive Metro app to confirm your files and new directory.
Then check the issue again.

Why no Upload to Skydrive for Belle FP2 devices li...

I noticed a version of Upload to Skydrive for other Symbian devices like 5800. Please put the software for Belle FP2 devices like 808 into Nokia Betalabs. Thank you and happy Easter.

Does SkyDrive support resumable upload. For 33 MB file upload it took almost 5 min to upload . So to minimise time to upload i want to use resumable upload.
Explain how it should be done.
I do not want to use BITS protocol as given in one of forum. I want to upload more than 100 MB files.

Uploading Aperture 3 photos to Skydrive.

I have tried to upload files from Aperture 3 to Skydrive. Although the files upload, they appear as just files and not as photos or a photo collage. Anyone know what I might be doing wrong? I am using the Firefox browser. Thanks, tina

Describe your setup hardware and software, what you try to do what you expected to happen and what did happen and someone might be able to help.

BROADBAND CONNECTION KEEPS DROPPING WHEN UPLOADING PHOTOS TO MS SKYDRIVE

when i attempt to upload photos to MS skydrive in Firefox, my broadband connection keeps disconnecting and reconnecting all the time. However if I try and upload photos via IE8, i have no such issues.
Any explanations for this bizarre behaviour?

Ethernet cable? I am not sure what one is, I think this is how I was connecting when I was with Talk Talk. Is it where you connect to the BT phone socket with a little white box thingy? Please let me know. To be honest, I thought the whole point of the setup I have now was the newest technology which did away with that sort of connection. I think I have latest version of Adobe Flash Player I removed my existing version last week and uploaded newest version. Please tell me which one I should be using. Please also let me know if I need anything other programme that would help.

SkyDrive PRO Error & Updates (upload center)

First of all, i'm confused about Upload Center vs SkyDrive PRO. Are they the same? Does the other one need the other to exist?
So I've been getting a lot of errors just trying to figure out this software: SkyDrive PRO or Upload Center.
The error is this:
"Upload Failed"
"Server File Updated"
Thats it.

According to your description, my understanding is that you cannot keep sign in Office 365 and the error occurred when syncing files using SkyDrive Pro.
#1 To keep sign in Office 365, I recommend to go to add the following entries to the trusted sites in Internet Explorer:

is there any way to programatically download/upload files to someones Skydrive Pro disk (as O365 admin)? I found this article,
but it is for Skydrive. I cannot find any cmdlets or something helpful.

Lumia 800 - Bulk upload of Pictures to SKydrive

Hi,
I have Lumia 800. i have lots of pictures which i had downloaded via internet. so if i start to use MS Zune, i think all the pictures will be erased...
so to avoid this, i want to do an autoupload or Bulk upload to my Skydrive. Please let me know the solution.

There are third party Skydrive apps in the Microsoft Marketplace that you can download and use to upload pictures in bulk. You can access that via the Store app on the phone itself.

Lumia 925 uploads on skydrive

Hey,
today when I installed windows 8.1 I've seen some of my photos uploaded on skydrive, and I really doubt I wanted or I know how to do this (auto-upload is disabled) and I wonder how is this possbile, and how to prevent from doing that again.
I thought that by sending an e-mail with 14-15 photos it automatically uploads it to skydrive to be able to send them, but tested it and it doesn't upload.
Anyone can give a hand out here please?

Hi, superfly21. Welcome to the Nokia Support Discussions. When did it start to happen? Just to clarify, which Facebook app are you referring to? The one that can be found under your phone's settings or is it a third party app from the Store? Which connection are you using when accessing the internet? Cellular data or WiFi? This is for us to isolate the issue since you also mentioned that this also happens when receiving a text message.
Have you tried to reboot the phone? Press and hold the volume down and power keys. We would also suggest closing any apps running in your background: Settings > Applications > background tasks > select the app > block. Keeps us posted.
BTW, can we also have your phone's current Firmware Revision Number?
