Try to reset all Skype settings.
Quit Skype or use Windows Task Manager to kill any Skype.exe process. Go to Windows Start and in the Search/Run box type %appdata% and then press Enter or click the OK button. The Windows File Explorer will pop up. There locate a folder named “Skype”. Rename this folder to something different, e.g. Skype_old.
Next go to Windows Start and in the Search/Run box type %temp%\skype and then press Enter or click the OK button. Delete the DbTemp folder.
    Restart Skype.
N.B. If needed, you will still be able to re-establish your call and chat history. All data is still saved in the Skype_old folder.

You need to uninstall or disable this application. I'm not sure, but it might also be possible to just remove this application from browser extensions in Internet Explorer.

In the past, I have been able to run Skype and Covenant Eyes simulanteously. I currently use Covenant Eyes to monitor and report on internet activity. I don't believe I have it configured to block or filter any internet access. If I were to contact Covenant Eyes support, what information should I provide them with?
I've had this problem before. I temporarily fixed it by downloading an older version of Skype. This solution worked for a while until Skype automatically updated. I tried downloading an older version of Skype again but couldn't get it running because of different issues. Can you reccommend a link to a dependable older version of Skype that might work for me? Or any other ideas?

Adobe Reader 10.1/ 11 get error "has stopped working" on windows 7 after installed 1 or 2 days, but Adobe Reader is fine==

Turning off the Protected Mode at Startup setting fixed the problem for me. Switched off all protected mode settings in Preferences exited Adobe Reader XI then restarted. Now I can successfully open files without the program crashing. I run the same versions of Adobe Reader and Norton Internet Security on Windows 7 and Windows 8 systems and the problem only occurred on Windows 7.

If you really want help, stop messing with the fonts and post so that others can read and offer suggestions.
Or better yet... try a search, I'm certain you'll find a solution to whatever issue you're experiencing.
I have found that many times it is the things that make you most angry that push you to action. This was the case here. Thank you for causing me to get so angry that I found the answer myself.

  • Everytime I open itunes I get a message saying itunes has stopped working and windows is looking for a solution

Everytime I open itunes I get a message saying itunes has stopped working and windows is looking for a solution

I have the same issue. An iTunes help page (iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8: Fix unexpected quits or launch issues - Apple Support) suggested I hold down shift and control when clicking to open iTunes, which opens iTunes fine for me. That would mean the problem is in the third party plug-ins that work with iTunes. However, the help pages did not say what to do with the plug-ins once I knew that was the issue. The pages said to find the plug-ins and move them to the Desktop, which I did. That's where the help pages stopped, which is ridiculous. Does anyone know what to do from there?
