  • Interaction Center Sales with ERP Sales Order

We are in the process of upgrading from CRM 4.0 sp 6 to CRM 2007.  We have been using the Web IC and Mobile sales for the last 4 years.  In our original CRM 4.0 implementation (which was developed by SAP) we were using the CRM Web IC to create orders with R/3 using a couple of BADI's.  We are currently using R/3 4.7 and have plans to upgrade to ECC 6.0 next year.  I was just rereading some of the documentation in the upgrade guide and came across the following line:
"The following software units are required for the Interaction Center Sales with ERP Sales Order scenario:
Mandatory:  IC WebClient with specific ERP Sales order viewset requires SAP ECC 6.0"
This implies that the standard Interaction Center Sales with ERP Sales Order functionality will not work in our current landscape and that it would only do so when we upgrade to ECC.  What options are open to us to get around this?  What is the technical reason why this functionality doesn't work with SAP R/3 4.7?
I can't imagine we are the first company to face this problem and I can't imagine everyone upgraded to ECC 6 - so what approaches have people taken to address this issue
    Thanks in advance
    Eddie

In the last 12 months we upgraded from 4.0 to 5.0 in CRM and went form 46C to ECC 6.0.
In your current landscape you can create orders in the ICWC where the order is created in CRM and replicates to R/3 4.7.     You have the replication scenarios X, Y, Z available to you.
Your other option is using the ICWC R/3 order screen where you basically are calling R/3 transaction VA01 and entering the order in the ICWC but the order entry in being done directly into R/3 via your ITS server.  Looks almost exactly like VA01 in the gui.  The menu bars are a little different.
The ERP order looks like other ICWC screens,  is very sharp and users wouldn't know that they are entering the order directly in ECC.  We have been using it about 3 months.  More Pro's than Con's, if you have user exits in MV45AFZ* the ERP order still uses them  (but t-code isn't VA01 if you have condition If statements around t-codes).
    Hope this helps,

  • Supplier Qualification with ERP

    Dear experts,
I've set up the supplier qualification process. So fas so good.
I'm able to accept a supplier in "Supplier Preselection"
I want to transfer this supplier to the ECC system next but the transaction to do so is not there.
I have assigned the Role: /SAPSRM/SUS_ROS_PROCESSOR to my user and I can only see the transaction Pre-Select Supplier
According to the documentation the following transactions should be included to the workset for this role:
    Transfer Supplier
    Preselect Suppliers
    Supplier Monitor
But I can not see the transactions Transfer Supplier and Supplier Monitor.
    Am I missing something?

    Hello Nikhil,
    Thanks for your reply.
The Strategic Purchaser role is also assigned.
I may be wrong but isn't the scenario you are describing Supplier Qualification with SRM server?
Look at the following link. There you can see a second scenario called Supplier Qualification with ERP.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_srm70/helpdata/en/45/efc057348a3112e10000000a1553f7/content.htm
THat scenario describes a process where you can transfer the supplier manually to the ERP system through XI.
Indeed there is a new functionality in EhP1 to automatically transfer the accepted supplier to ECC.
    Also check http://help.sap.com/saphelp_srm70/helpdata/en/f4/1b962bda07450b9076bb66a7d42fa7/frameset.htm
Here you can see the worksets for this role.
I'm a bit confused and hope you can help me out.
    Kind regards

  • Integartion with ERP and SRM

    Hi,
We are looking for integration of E-sourcing 6.0 with ERP 4.6C and SRM 3.0 with Extended classic scenarion.
Is it possible to do the integration, if not can you suggest how the above scenario can be acheived?
Is it possible to integrate the MDM 2.0?
    Regards,
    Madhan

Integration between ESO and SRM is a custom solution with help from SAP. We have implemented this recently.  However Intergration between ESO and ECC is standard.
Please reach out to SAP for further assistance.
    Good Luck

This forum will move to the New SCN as part of our migration to a new platform. Once we make that move, on December 5, it will become a read-only discussion. It will be searchable but will not be part of the site navigation.  If you have questions, please contact me, [Gali Kling Schneider |http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/bc?u=6v4sgatytpg%3d].

    Dear Dr. Word,
I am a graduate student of MIS at Northern Illinois University. I took Dr. Yipeng Liu’s course of Advanced Topic of Information Systems using your textbook - Integrated Business Process With ERP Systems. Your textbook is great. I have a question to discuss with you.
On page 62 of your textbook, I don’t think the accounting process of purchasing supplies is correct. In the example, “GBI purchases office supplies for $500 with a check. Office supplies are expensed; that is, they are defined as money spent rather than treated as an asset upon purchase, even if some of the supplies remain unused. In this case, the relevant accounts are bank and supplies expense.”
Actually, supplies unused are assets of companies. Otherwise we don’t need an account called supplies at all. In the given example, I think we should credit $500 to bank account and debit $500 to supplies account. If at the end of the fiscal year, we used only $300 supplies, then we credit $300 to supplies account and debit $300 to supplies expense account. This is the typical process of supplies accounting.
“Office supplies are expensed; that is, they are defined as money spent rather than treated as an asset upon purchase, even if some of the supplies remain unused. “ This practice actually goes against the Matching Principle of General Acceptable Accounting Principles (GAAP). It’s not a good example especially in textbook, even though lots of companies are doing real business like this.
I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts of my comments on supplies accounting of your textbook.

  • Can EWM be implemented with ERP systems ?

    Experts,
I am confused about implementing the EWM with ERP or SCM .I saw in a SAP website that the training for EWM requires the ERP and SCM both platforms .I don't understand this. Even for the certification in ERP (P_LEWM_64) , it includes the EWM functionality.Does this mean that even on ERP , can we implement the EWM ?
    Please share your thoughts

  • One-time customer with ERP Sales Order

    Hello experts,
I am working with ERP Sales Order on SAP CRM 7.0 Ehp3.
We have a requirement to start using 'one-time customer' process. I know there is a standard account groupd (CPD) on ECC side for this purporse.
We would like to enter a sales order for occasional customers, without saving the customer in the master data table.
I would like to have an occasional customer (example nº 1000 which should work like a CPD). I need to enter a sales order for this customer nº 1000, and once I enter nº 1000 on the BP number field, it should bring a Pop-up in order to enter the customer's information (address).
This is working when I create the order via VA01 on ECC side, but the pop-up is not shown when I try to create the order on CRM via erp sales order.
Any suggestions on how to make one-time customer work on ERP sales order? And how to make the pop-up work?
    Thanks in advance!
    Luis

Thanks a lot, Rene! I have just read this SAP note and confirmed your information.
Do you know of any workaround or development that could be done for this scenario using ERP sales order?
If not, I will suggest using transaction launcher and create this type of order for the one-time customer directly in VA01.
    Once again, thanks for replying!
    Luis.

  • Order Type Group - CRM 7.0 B2B Ecommerce with ERP Sales Order Scenario

    Hello Experts
Scenario: CRM 7.0 with ERP Sales Order
How can we use ORDER TYPE GROUP in CRM 7.0 B2B E-commerce with ERP sales order?
With CRM as a back end this ORDER TYPE GROUP functionality is available as OOTB, but with ECC as a back end is this available?
As per out understanding, we can use more than one TRANSACTION TYPE by seperating the TRANSACTION TYPES by COMMA in shopadmin? Is it a right understanding?
Kindly let us know if we have ORDER TYPE GROUP functionality in CRM 7.0 B2B E-commerce with ERP sales order?
    Thanks and Regards
    DJ

    Hi DJ,
In fact the Order Type Group is only available when you are connected to CRM Backend. For ERP Webshops, you only have the option to add the Order Types separated by coma.
In addition, be aware that B2B only supports Sales Document with category "C - Sales Orders" on ERP backends, for example:Credit Memo Requests won't work. For more information, I created Note 1567713 that explain the restrictions.
    Kind Regards,
    Diego Felix.

  • Self Services Patch Level for ESS 600 with ERP 6.0 Stack 14

Does anyone know what the note number or where I can find which level of XSS 600 patch should be used in conjunction with ERP Stack 14?
There is a note for XSS 100 (note: 761266) that explains what I'm looking for, but it only covers XSS100 not XSS 600.
    Thanks,
    I always award points.

Not exactly what I'm looking for.  This note only describes the business package, which I'm not concerned about, I'm more looking for which XSS patch to use with the EA-HR sp level on the ECC 6.0 system.

  • Integration CRM 7.0 with ERP 5.0

    Hi,
I want upgrade my actual system CRM to 7.0, what about the integration with my system ERP 5.0?
Are there any document for know the functionality that should work and not work?
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,

    Hi,
Please have a look at the Master Guide for CRM 7.0. You can find it in the SAP Service Marketplace at www.service.sap.com/crm-inst -> SAP CRM -> SAP CRM 7.0 -> PLAN -> Master Guide CRM 7.0
This document contains information on dependencies on your existing environment.
For example in Chapter 3 "SAP CRM Scenarios", for ECC it states:
Recommended version: SAP ERP 6.0 EHP 4
    Minimum version: SAP R/3 4.6C SP 53
Please refer to this document for the info required.
You may also find some useful information in the product availability matrix at service.sap.com/pam
Replication of data between CRM 7.0 and ERP 5.0 should still work fine.
Although you will be missing some functionality that would otherwise be available with ERP 6.0 EHP 4, such as functionality surrounding the creation of ERP documents from the CRM Web UI.
    Best Regards
    Gavin

  • Activation of CRM RDS with ERP integration impact on existing ERP configuration

    Hi,
I'm doing automatic content activation (via Solution Builder) of the CRM RDS solution with ERP integration. The CRM system is a new installation which will linked to an existing ERP system.
Will the activation of RDS Solution content overwrite the existing configuration in ERP? What is impact of on existing configuration and existing process on ERP?
    Regards,
    SK

    1. The add-on seems to support all new versions of ECC, does this include ECC on HANA ? --> The add-on supports all release of ECC above the base release mentioned in the Integration guide, including ECC on HANA
    2. Is it necessary to backup the environment before installing the add-on ? --> The Add-On does not contain any DB tables. It should not interfere with the ECC environment, so you can install these without any disruption or downtime. As part of general hygiene, you may want to make sure that there is a recent enough backup for the ECC system.
    3. The component seems to be isolated from impacting any ECC functionality and its just for the purpose of integrating C4C with ECC. Would this mean that no regression testing is required in ECC ?
No regression testing is required for ECC standard functionality. It will not affect existing distribution models. You will have to set up new ones for Cloud for Customer Integration scenarios.
    4. The component doesn't seems to have an uninstall option which would meant that any reverts could only be done through system backup only. Is this accurate ? --> There is no uninstall option.

  • Insyall Enhance Pack 4 along with ERP 6.0?

    Hi,
I  need to build new ERP 6.0 system with enhancement package 4.
Is it possible to install EHP4 along with ERP 6.0 installation?
    Thanks,
    Ram

    Hi,
Basically there are two steps for the installation:
    1. Installation of SAP ERP 6.0 (including SAP EHP 1 for SAP NW 7.0)
    2. Installation of selected parts of Enhancement Package 4 for  SAP ERP 6.0
So, the first step is to use sapinst to install the ERP 6.0 with NW 7.01 (the BASIS part)
Then the second step is to use the sapehpi to install the EHP4 for ERP 6.0 (the application part)
Read the master guide and installation documents at

I am trying integrate xMII with ERP, So I have followed this blog
    /people/dipankar.saha3/blog/2007/02/05/how-to-integrate-sap-xmii-with-sap-erp
I have created JCO Interface with some BAPI in BLS. I have added a sequence in that I am keeping Message XML output. While I am runnig, I didn't get that output.
If anybody worked on this give me step by step solution
    Thanks

    Art Tech
Use Action <b>Tracer</b> after each actions in the BLS and link the Output of previous action to the message of Tracer. This will help u to find where prob comes. probably u hv got stuck with some misleading in BLS.
Find this out urself which will give u a strong understanding on this.
I did the documentation wat i sent u in previous post with positive result

  • Integration of CRM Service with ERP MM (Reservation, Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order)

My (i think simple) question is about integration of CRM service to ERP MM, e.g. for spare parts delivery or spare parts purchasing or scrapping parts in a CRM service order - i thought something very basic and standard
I always thought that inside a ERP SD order you have item categories and those item categories do have a schedule line category and a requirement class and from those are determined the MM movement typ and the automatism if the system creates  in MM a reservation a purchase requisition or a purchase order. That was always my understanding
Now i was surprised to learn the customizing in SAP CRM (CRM/Transactions/Settings for Service Transactions/Integration/ Logistics Integration/Define Transfer parameters) - there i can say:
CRM Transaction Type+ CRM Item Category = ERP Movement Type + ERP Special Stock Indicator
or next to it in the SAP CRM Customizing
(CRM/Transactions/Settings for Service Transactions/Integration/ Logistics Integration/DefineLogistics Scenario for the Procurement of Material and Sales)
    i can say:
CRM Transaction Type+ CRM Item Category = ERP Reservation or ERP purchase requisition or ERP purchase Order
Now i know that in SAP CRM if you have a transaction and an item category for a logistics operation, the system creates an EPR sales order of the same number and type with the same item categories.
My question is: WHERE is determined which movement type the system uses and if there is created a reservation or purchase requisition or purchase Order. Is it determined in the ERP by using the ERP sales order item category and the SD item category customizing or is it determined by the customizing in the SAP CRM that i described above?
    Thank you

    Hi Anup,
I am facing purchase requisition creation problem for service products from crm.
I have seen your query which was posted on same issue, so i thought i could get some help.
The problem here is when i am saving the service order i am getting the below message.
Enter a (default) purchasing group for material group SUB_MC (Notification E CRM_SRV_LOG_EXT_OLTP 002).
I have actually downloaded mat_dien materials from ecc to crm and for material purchase group is already assigned for one plant, but still not able to recognise.
    Please help me out.
    Thanks in advance.
