Slideshow showing up in preview but not online?

Hello everybody
I''m running Dreamweaver CS3. I am working on a shop website for racing products that you can see at www.proheader.com/alpha.html
As you can see on that page, there is a large white space under the orange bar titles Featured Products. That is where the flash slideshow is supposed to be. I uploaded the .swf file in the same directory as the html file. I also uploaded the scripts folder with the AC_RunActiveContent.js file. When I preview the slideshow in DW, it shows up but when I see it on my website, it doesnt show up. I need the slideshow implented soon, and help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much!

Music player shows & plays on preview but not online

Hi. I'm using a Windows 7 laptop. I'm trying a quick & dirty update on an old site, so I'm updating the music clip(s) player, 3 actually. They show up and play the clips in Dreamweaver, they show & play the clips when I preview from Dreamweaver using Chrome, Firefox and IE browsers. But when I uploaded them online the players show but the music clips don't play(!?!). The clips are between 2-5 mins.
I thought Windows did something funny like make the files look back to my local drive, so I copied & pasted from "my documents" window & uploaded the files again overwriting them from an XP desktop. Still nothing. Help, please. This is a portfolio piece, but I don't want to spend too much time on it more than I have already. The page can be found at http://www.pinkturtle.us/felicite/sample.html

Gramps, the folder wouldn't show anything if one types in that url directly because there are no html files there, right? Only my music files (m4a (which are mpeg 4 audio files that worked on ie5 and play when previewed through Dreamweaver)) and music playlists, which reference said audio files, are there, oh and maybe a txt file or two.
Hans would a server have issues with m4a files now if they haven't before? In any case, I have replaced the 1st player's "playlist" with just 1 aria bypassing the m3u playlist altogether. The second player goes to one of Charlotte Church's pieces as an mp3; the last player has the playlist m3u extension. These m3u files, mp3 & m4a files are all in the folder called music_samples. And, it works in Chrome -- when browsed through Dreamweaver. (I'm having no luck with IE...)
So what's up w/ that? It was all working from my laptop last week. I can't imagine what I did to this site.

Is the Skin externalised? If so, perhaps Flash Global Security is interfering:

You could also try NOT externalising the skin.

Dreamweaver rollover working in preview but not online

I use image swap for rollovers often. After making some changes to my friends website I noticed all the rollovers stopped working. I tried it in all browsers, I tried restoring a file from time machine, I tried it with a bunch of different images.
So I tried a very simple blank page with one image on it and "swap image" behavior applied to it. It also displays fine in the preview and not online (Dreamweaver CS5.5)

Possibility #2 (and I've done this countless times) is that somewhere along the way in editing, someone inadvertently removed line breaks using the "Find and Replace" feature while cleaning up other code and applied it to more than necessary places.. If that's the case, replace the scripts with redownloaded (or in this case reinstalled) originals. I've broken some really cool scripts this way and I spend a few hours kicking myself in the backside for it, but I always keep a backup of my scripts for when I forget and do it again.
Nancy's right, though Filezilla is a good solution, but if the pages are corrupted, it will load them as they are, and the problem will persist.

Flash image viewer works in preview but not online

I followed an online demo on how to get an image slideshow on my webpage using flash. It was using insert media image viewer. It all worked fine, looked great in the preview but when I put everything online I can't see it. Just an empty space were it should be. This is the site where it is

You have not uploaded the Scripts folder to your server which DW generated automatically for you when you inserted the Flash.

Flash plays in preview but not online

My flash video plays fine in dreamweaver and in preview just not when loaded to my hosting server. Which makes me think it but be file target related.
Any help would be appreciated

Audio clip plays in browser preview but not online

Hi,
I discovered that one of my Mp3 audio clips is not playing
properly online. The thing is that it plays fine when I preview it
in the browser within the Dreamweaver CS3 program (even on other
browsers like Opera). So I don't know what could be causing it.
Here's the page and it is the second clip titled 'Have You Met Miss
Jones'.

New banner show up in preview but not on my site!

I made a banner using PS, i sliced it,(png-24) imported the code into my site in DW. When i preview, everything looks fine. When i upload via DW syncronise with my web site, nothing shows up, though the files show up in myonline file directory.

The part of the site that i am working with is the banner, the png's that point to my HDD.
I don't see anywhere in the DW code where it is pointing to my HDD. Also it is uploaded to the site. I use http://www.selfseo.com/html_source_view.php to view the code, but i still don't see it pointed to the HDD.What do you use to view the code?
If i insert/image then it will no longer be a linkable banner as it will do away with the slices, correct?
I saved the banner as html and image.
I placed the folders into my DW folder.
I opened it in a new html and copy/pasted the code into my opened DW site.
I syncronized the DW with my site. (the site shows the png's.

HELP - My Link Shows Up In Preview But Not Live

Please forgive my ignorance, I'm new to this. I am trying to
add a hyperlink to an already existing layer. It shows up and works
in preview in both FF and Safari. I upload the changes through
Fetch and nothing happens. I refresh my browsers and everything.

Getting values in preview but not on paper

hi gurus,
the variables on a window is showing values in preview but not on paper the window is above a top-left portion of other window..
i need to display those variables on paper at print time...as alignment is perfect ..suggest me how to do?

Slide show works on PCs but not on Macs

A parent at the school where I teach has just created a
website for us. She used Dreamweaver and photoshop to create it.
There are some pages where there should be a looping slide show
(that runs on its own). These slide shows work on PCs but not on
Macs (it just stays on one photo on Macs). For the slide show she
"just added a timeline to the jpg image, changing the imagesource
every 60 frames, that you can do in dreamweaver." Is there some way
to fix this so it works on both?

Unfortunately, the timeline function may not be the best way
to do this.
Notwithstanding Joe's comments about 508 compliance, there
have been issues
reported in the past regarding the use of timelines on Macs.
It may be
better to seek some 'banner rotation' scripts using Google,
and replace the
timelines with that script. Your volunteer may or may not
know how to do
that....

Artwork doesn't print when printing cd insert, it shows on the preview but doesn't print?

Hi, after downloading the latest version of Itunes, the artwork no longer prints on the cd insert? It shows on the preview, but doesn't print on the insert? It worked fine before and the printer is working fine, it prints color photos and artwork, no problem?

Since you can see it in your device list it must have Find My Mac activated, but you're going to have to wait for them to take it online in order to either locate, lock or wipe it. Until it goes online you can't do anything. http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/find-my-device/

Load swf works in Publish Preview but not when published

Hi Folks,
I having a problem where im trying to load two 1mb SWF movies into my Flash piece. It works fine in Publish Preview but not when I finally publish. I get this error in IE:
SecurityError: Error #2000: No active security context.
I have googled around and there is some talk online of a hack where by you get a timeout to overcome this. However im not so technical do I dont really know how to do this to my code in AS3. My code at the moment is below.

I think this is either a problem with my site preLoader or my external .swf Loader. I was checking out the bandwith profiler and saw something weird and I wondered if anyone could explain...I've added a picture. I have a blank frame on only my actions layer to export classes to and it seems that frame 2 is "bleeding" into frame 1. Could this be my problem? Why would this happen? Thanks

I have been syncing calendar and contacts on my iPhone 5 and Outlook 2007 using iCloud 2.1.3 (my PC is running Vista). All was well until the events I entered on the phone were showing up in Outlook, but not the other way around. I’ve tried the usual recommended steps: deselecting calendar and contacts in the iCloud control panel and then re-selecting, signing out of the panel and back in, and repairing the Outlook installation in control panel. I even uninstalled iCloud on the PC and downloaded it again (same version).
The furthest I’ve gotten is step 2 (and once, step 3) of 7 while performing “Outlook Setup For iCloud.” At that point I get, “Your setup couldn’t be started because of an unexpected error.” After the first attempt at all this, all my calendar events disappeared from Outlook, although they are still in iCloud calendar and on my phone.
Sound familiar? Any ideas on how to solve this iCloud/Outlook issue? Thanks much in advance!

I have a Rocketfish mini display port to VGA adaptor cord for a macbook pro, it was working fine the first week, now it does not show what I am seeing on my laptop on my lg Flat screen tv. It only shows the space background but not any icons. Any help??

Is there anything I should do to the TV or any settings i should do from my actual Macbook? It only shows the space background but not any of my icons or what i am seeing on my laptop screen. It is a new adaptor which was purchased last week.

It seems as though though it may be a connection issue, possibly hardware or adapter. Make certain the connections are TIGHT.
For software you may try a smc reset:
Shut down the computer.
Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
Note: The LED on the MagSafe power adapter may change states or temporarily turn off when you reset the SMC.
Try a pram reset:
Shut down your Mac.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Option, Command (⌘), P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on your Mac.
Immediately press and hold the Option-Command-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears. Continue holding the keys down until your Mac restarts, and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
If no joy you can take it in to an Apple store genius bar for a free evaluation make an appointment first.
