Slow to Sleep Power Mgt. App - How can it be reset?

I posted the following some time ago and it was never answered. My iMac is really slow
to sleep (sometimes 20 to 30 seconds) from clicking on Black Apple/Sleep until it sleeps.
The last time this happened I had a big file hung in a print queue and clearing it help. I
do not have anything in the print queue now but when I run the the CNET tip to listed below
I get all kind of stuff associated with the Apple powermanagement application

I have no idea how to reset the Apple Power Management. Some help will
be appreciated. I wonder if there is a prefs file that could be trashed

For users experiencing this issue, you can narrow down the cause of the slow shut down using a simple Terminal command. Open Terminal and enter:
pmset -g log
The "Signature" with the longest "Response Time" (in ms) should be the first program to look at. Users should be sure they have updated all their third party applications and plug-ins, especially after updating to Snow Leopard 10.6.2, to ensure the best compatibility.
I did and and there were several small and a few big items but I have no idea what I should
do about it???

I got lucky! Sleep is now working great again. I am not sure what really fixed
the slow to sleep but one thing I did was to go to the System Preferences/Energy
Saver and used the Restore Defaults and restarted the iMac.
Some things that sound hard are pretty easy to fix. I hope it stays

This may sound stupid, but I'm gonna throw it out there anyway. Is it possible, that if I have enough junk on my desktop it might disrupt the signal? It seems odd, but it kind of looks like my signal is strong and relatively steady now that I've cleaned my desktop. I do tend to get very cluttered. I use a lot of reference images and save text clippings to use later... it just piles up very quickly.
So, I wonder if all that extra effort my system has to do keeping up with the junk might have something to do with the drop outs?

You can use separate AppleIDs for iCloud, iMessage and iTunes - you just need to create unique AppleIDs for the iCloud accounts if syncing contacts that way (you will need an email address that is not already registered as an AppleID though to get another AppleID).
Apps are a different matter in that purchases are tied to the AppleID used to log in to the store to make the purchase. So you can create another AppleID for iTunes as well and use different ones on the different phones, but any apps you have already purchased with your existing AppleID are permanently tied to that AppleID.
Really, unless you are sharing apps, content and such, there is no reason to use the same AppleID on each anyway. So the simplest solution is to create new AppleID(s) for the second device. If you need an email address to do that, just get a gmail account (or hotmail, yahoo or any other free email account).

If you bought an Apple gift card, then you cannot use it in the iTunes store. You can only use it in the Apple store for hardware.
You would need an iTunes gift card to buy anything in iTunes

You installed a hacked app, originally from the Mac App Store. It contains the receipt for a different app, downloaded using an account that you don't control. You need to identify and remove the hacked app.

there should be a back up on your friends computer of your phone when it was restored. If there is all you need to do is restore from that backup and your good to go, I just hope that you did not plug your phone into there computer 2 times.
The first thing you will need to do is turn of automatic sync and then you can plug your phone in and restore from the backup that should have been made

You appear to have an iPhone 5. Snipsnap 2.4.2, the current version, says it works on iPhone 5, iOS 5.0 or later. Why do you want an out of date version of the app?

I-Photo won't open even though I have upgraded to OS X Yosemite and downloaded the I-Photo upgrader.
But have you run the the iPhoto Library upgrader? It is installed in Applications > Utilities. Launch it and direct it to your iPhoto library.
Which version of iPhoto did you upgrade from?
The upgrader is only necessary, if you have been running iPhoto7.1.2 or earlier.

As long as the apps are still available in the store, and you use the same iTunes account as you originally used to buy them, then you should be able to re-download them for free : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519 . If you download them to your computer's iTunes you could then try restoring to your backup and see if that restores them and their settings/content back to your iPhone - a backup doesn't contain the actual apps, just their content/settings, so for the restore to work fully iTunes needs access to the apps so that it can restore them.

Seems silly to not allow a rollback from a file repository of previous app versions.
