Smart Forms Logo Print

Hi,
There seems to be a problem with printing my Logos on Smart Forms. In the Print Preview it shows but when I print the same it does not show in the printout, but a dark band gets printed. Also I tried to see the same in SE78 The print preview comes but when I take a print out nothing gets printed but just a number gets printed. I think there has to be some printup setting which I havent looked up can anyone please tell me.

that''s not a problem with layout design or abap code,
that's a problem with printer(some printers only can support for this functionality) or with printer setting.

    This pertains to HCM Process and Forms with Floor Plan Manager (FPM) based forms.
    SAP has provided Adobe Forms as the standard print option for FPM based forms, as can be seen in the attached screenshot.
    We want to use the FPM based forms without using Adobe Document Services (ADS). I am checking the feasibility of replacing the PDF forms with Smart Forms, either through configuration or customization.
    System Landscape: ECC 6.0 EhP6
    Any inputs or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Irrespective of the process or scenario, we would like to use Smart Forms instead of Adobe Forms. As seen in the screenshot, SAP has provided the default option of generating a PDF form. This requires installing and using Adobe Document Services. We would like to remove this dependency on Adobe Document Services.
    Instead, we would like to use Smart Forms for printing purposes.
    This requirement is not tied to any specific process or scenario, but to any business process implemented using HCM Process and Forms framework.

  • Smart form to print label

    hi guys,
    i have a quetion for you. What ever i say you here is all about EWM 5.1(seperate instance)
    i have a standard smartform /scwm/hu_shplabel.
    this i should be using to create a shipping label printing (UCC).
    i will tell you wht i did and wht i need.
    i copied this standard to a z form and created the frame (windows i needed).
    i dont know if this needs a driver program at all to call this.
    to my knowledge i know that a method is assigned to this standard form and it calls it.
    but most of the coding is done in the form itself using the input parameters.
    i need to know
    1. do we actually need a driver prog for such forms.
    2. if i have to make changes do i do it in driver prog or form itself.( i can see lot of coding in the present form) , the coding is mostly object oriented.
    3. i even have a bar code to print in it too.
    4. few of the the date to be printed on the label has to come from R/3.
    usually i knew the smart form where u write a se38 program to call the form and input the data mostly needed to print. i am new to this kind .
    do let me know anything u think.

    first let me thank you for the information.
    standard form has a master window.
    and i have to add 8 more windows.
    i have come across a similar standard smart form but i came to know that it is associated with a
    object and a corresponding class.
    so i came to the conclusion that the present smartform might have a associated object and it is responsible of calling the form.
    i may not be completely true. do tell me if i am or not.
    the present smartform has some code internally and some global parameters added.
    it has some input parameters added.
    but the current functionality is not similar to what the standard is.
    so i didnt understand if i have to code in object or in the form itself.
    do let me know wht ever information you have.

  • Error when exexuting a smart form from print program

    Hi,
    I have created a Print Program & Layout Set [Smart Form].
    Now when i executed Print program it is throwing following error.
    As internal table that we are passing to F.M is not having any data i have appended some data in debug mode.
    After htting Print Immediaely Button Following EXIT Error is coming.
    No table is currently processed, switching lines is not possible.
    Message no. SSFCOMPOSER 183
    Diagnosis
    You tried to switch to the next table line, but currently no table is open for output.
    System Response
    The system issues an error message.
    Procedure
    This is probably an internal error. Please contact the SAP hotline and report the problem.
    Can anybody solve this issue!

    Make sure that you have proper definations of internal table in program and smartform.

  • Smart Form Language Print Problem

    Hi ,
    i want to ask that in PO smart form if i am taking print preview. then vendor & Shipping Address are not coming in print preview...another fields are coming like tele & Fax No these are store in numeric value but these name1 and street store in taiwan Lang..
    then data fetch from ARDC table but ARDC-name1 and ADRC-street store data in taiwan lang..so these two fields data is not displaying in taiwan lang during print preview but some other format is displaying like squrae shape.....
    so plz send me solution...ASAP...

    Hi,
    Pick up the Address using user log on language instead of adrc-spras Or the language which user wants to display on the form.
    Alternatively u can also code the driver program in such a way so that, if the the sy-langu is EN pick the address in EN or pick the address in Taiwan language.
    ADRC-Nation is set in such case.
    Another solution is the master data for the vendor has to be first maintained in English and then international versions have to be maintained in various languages.

  • Sending Smart form to Printer  in SRM

    Hi All,
    I am trying to send a smartform to Printer in SRM ITS. I gave output options and control parameters . When i see the Print dialog box i dont see the Front end printers in that. Normally when we pass  LOCL we should see default printer in Print dialog.
    When i do print, spool is creating but its not printing at local printer .
    I am doing this in SRM ITS ... could you kindly any one tell me what steps need to take to print a smart form at local printer when we call form ?

    in smartform iam printing the page no
    current page / no. of pages : sfsy-page / sfsy-formpages
    if the no. of pages are more than 9 it is printing as star ( * )
    if the total pages are  12
    ex : 1/ *    , 2 /* up to 9/* than 10 /12 ,  11/12 , 12/12

  • Print portrait orientation smart forms zebra printer

    Hello,
    I have designed a label with smart forms. The dimensions are the following: width = 11 cm. Height: 15 cm. The label has been designed in portrait form but the zebra 105 SL printer print it in landscape format. Does Anybody knows how to fix this problem ?

    You didn't check your printer settings in Printers and Faxes in control panel. It cannot happen the way you say.

    hi doing a smart form and in the print preview i see my page and its o.k. the problem is when i send the page to the printer noting is happen .
    when i send from my computer a word document its working what is the problem can be .
    i use a report program that call to smart function.

    i do it like this:
    CLEAR: CONTROL_PARAMETERS.
    CONTROL_PARAMETERS-NO_DIALOG = 'X'.
    it works OK.

    Hi Prabhu,
          You can track the Program through mainintaing table TNAPR.  TNAPR is the table which is having entries for "Processing Programs for output".
    Here you have fields like
    pgnam - Program Name
    sform -   Smartform Name
    fonam -  Script Name
    kschl -  Output type
    Here,You can maintain form against a program name.

  • Problem in Smart form while printing it in POLISH language

    Hi All,
    I am facing a problem in SMARTFORM and SAP SCRIPT.
    I have developed a form in EN language and converted that in POLISH language using SE63 . When the form is printed in the POLISH language "#" is coming for some special characters of POLISH Language . ( e.g. 'Length' should get printed as 'DŁUGOŚĆ' ' but it is coming as 'D#UGO##'')
    Please tell me how to handle these special characters in POLISH Language.

    To solve this Basis need to create a new output device type which supports Latin-2 character set (Device type to I2HP4) or change the existing one to support Latin-2 character set.

  • Smart form Colour Print

    Hi .
    I have an  issue in smartform printing.
    while seeing the print preview the logo is comming in colour.
    but in the print ,black and white logo is comming.I want the clour logo in the print also.
    the printer is a colour printer.
    are there any settings I have to do for getting the colour print.

    Before uploading the photo in SAP thru SE78 just save it as 256 colour BMP image and them upload it.

    Downloading the LOGO.
    Pls follow the menu path,
    SE78 - > Graphic -> Import
    File Name : Press F4 and select the requrire logo(on Presentation Server)
    Name : Give relavent name
    Steps for uploading Logo :-:
    1. Goto the transaction OAER
    2. Enter the class name as 'PICTURES'
    3. Enter the class type as 'OT'
    4. Enter the object key as the name of the logo you wish to give
    5. Execute
    6. Then in the new screen select Standard doc. types in bottom window
    Click on the Screen icon
    Now, it will ask for the file path where you have to upload the logo
    7. Now you can use this logo in REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE
