Smartforms + multiple barcode labels per page

Hi ,
There is requirement that 8 barcode labels should be printed per page ( 2 lables per row, 2 columns, size 1inch / 4 inch).
In SAP script , we create 8 main windows and insert the lable in 1st main window. at run time automatically it will go to next mail window.
Could you please any body tell me how to acheive the similar scenorio in smartform.
Thanks and Regards,

    HI ,
As suggested you  can use the standard smartform , by downloading  the package or else you can go for  your own smartform  and print program do it as follows :
for Po  the standrd program uses the form entry_neu  . you call this form in your custom driver program . say in ZPOUCHASE ORDER
    form entry_neu using ent_retco type sy-subrc
                                   ent_screen type c.
    perform get_data.
*****" here get the po number from  nast table  like this  " move nast-objky(10) to g_ebeln." ******
    perform get_formname.
get it like this : select single sform
        from tnapr
        into tnapr-sform
       where kschl = nast-kschl " Output Type
         and nacha = nast-nacha " Message transmission
         and kappl = nast-kappl." Application
      if sy-subrc = 0.
        g_formname = tnapr-sform.
    endif.*********************************
    perform zcallform.
    use call function 'SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME' **************
    perform zupdatenakt.
    do it like this  **********
    nast-vstat = 1.
      nast-usnam = sy-uname.
      nast-datvr = sy-datum.
      nast-uhrvr = sy-uzeit.
      call function 'RV_MESSAGE_UPDATE_SINGLE'
        exporting
          msg_nast = nast.
    endform.
assign this driver program in NACE transaction  along with the smartform  name
*****Please use the proper    condition type. NEU in this case "
and since you are getting the value of PO number  from nast  you  can pass this as importing parameter to your custom smart form
and once the po number is known the other values can be easily extracted

  • Multiple Interactive reports per page requirement

    Hi,
I've a requirement to create multiple reports say 4 reports on the same page but in different regions. Each and every report has some search and filter criterion so I thought of using Interactive reporting but while creating second one I'm getting error "one intercative report per page is allowed".Is there any workaround method to make this work or I need to use classic report with search fields only?
    Thanks,
    Mahender.

    Hi Jari,
    Thanks for your reply,
I tried that it works fine but one problem.I've created four individual reports on four pages and while using this IFRAME logic displaying on fifth page, there I can display all reports but report titles(page titles) are missing like which ever report I display on top is fine with title(comes from corresponding page title) but remaining reports titles are missing or truncated.is there any other way to create and display report titles?
    Thanks,

  • HELP: Multiple Consecutive Numbering per Page - Multiple Pages

I am working with an 8.5" x 11" InDesign document that has eight 4.25" x 2.75" "coupons" per page - see sample below.
Each coupon will need to be automatically and consecutively numbered 00001-00008 on page 1, 00009-00016 on page 2, etc. prior to printing and cutting into eight individual coupons. I know I can do this manually, but I would rather not since there may end up being dozens of pages.
    My questions...
    - Is this possible?
    - If so, how can this be done using InDesign?
    I appreciate any help!

There may be a better way to do this but this will work:
    1. Set up your doc as a single page (unselect facing pages)
    2. Go to the master page and place your coupons.
    3. Create 2 columns and adjust your margins and gutter so the columns are the width of the text containing your numbers and in the exact postion. - These columns and margins will be un-usual looking.
    4. Using 6 sets of sample numbers with a return at the end on each one, set 3 in one column and 3 with the 2 frames threaded.
    5. Create a para style and adjust the space after each paragraph so the text in each column lands on the right spot on each coupon
You doc should be set up. Delete text and go to first page
    6. In Excel or similar create a column (not row) with numbers you need and copy
    7. Place text in first column on P1, select all the text (Ctr/Cmd A) and apply paragraph style you created - the 3 numbers should be in correct position
    8. Click on red + sign, and, holding down Shift, thread remaining text into 2nd column - the text will flow into that column and create all the extra pages for the rest of yur numbers .

  • Printing multiple zoomed slides per page

I'm having trouble configuring Adobe Reader's print settings. I want to print 2 slides per page at 130% zoom for each. I can currently print a page zoomed in at 130% and print 2 slides per page, but I can't do both at the same time.
    David

Okay, I just struggled for a good 45 minutes until I finally figured it out. Here it is, step by step.
-Go to print and hit the little box with the arrow facing up to display the additional screen
-While in the "keynote" section on the drop-down box, select "Individual Slides"
-Click on the "layout" and select how many "pages per sheet" you would like (I believe both 6 and 9 are an option, and I think you'd want the first option
-Go back to the "keynote" section and select that would want all the slides printed, and you should be good to go! I just did it exactly how I described it and I also have iWork '09
    Hope I helped!
I actually just thought of something. If you're doing what I described above and it's still not working, when you're on the keynote part and under the printer name it says "pages: all or from _ to _", trying putting in from slides 1 to (however many you have) and try it that way.

  • After moving to Lion, I can no longer print multiple different images on a single page as before when I select "copies per page". Is there any way to regain that ability?

In systems prior to "lion" when I wanted to select and print multiple different imagews per page, I could select the number I desired in "copies per page". Now when I select a number in "Copies per page", I get that number of a single image instead of 1 of each each different image. Is there a way around this?
    Thanks,

  • Labels in Pages?

I still have the old Appleworks but cannot decipher instructions for making file folder labels. So I went to Pages '09 (4.0.3) & it appears that there is no way to make labels in Pages. Is this true? Given that it's true, is there a way to make file folder labels on an Avery 5266 template on a Mac? Maybe an add-on or Dashboard app?

    Jean
There several ways of doing your labels:
    1. Print directly from Address Book
    2. Use the template merge facility, drag an Address Book VCard onto the page, but this only lets you have a sheet with all the same name on it. This is as automated as it gets. Yvan has created an AppleScript which will give you some ability to multiple merge on specific Avery labels.
    3. Make a template with only one label per page, merge from Address Book or Numbers, make into .pdfs and drag those into a pre-prepared template or label size placeholders.
    4. Copy and paste into placeholder templates.
To sum up the merge method works with quirks, but won't give you multiple addresses on a sheet. Other than that there is no automated label printing.

  • SmartForms Multiple Columns

I am trying to convert a sapscript form which allows two columns similar to newspaper columns.  When the first column fills up, the second column is used until it is full and a page break occurs.  Any ideas on how to do this in SmartForms would be appreciated.

    Hi Buster,
I know it can be achieved in Sapscripts via defining multipe main windows on sape page and when first use to call second main window and so on. I have used this kind of Sapscript in Sticker printing for our inventory department.
In Smartforms you cannot have multiple Main windows per page, so above solution is not feasible.
But here is what i suggest.
Create a main Window for the first column of the page and crate a Secondary Window for second column and set its condition to "Only after end of Main window". So when data is full in Main window it will call secondary window and start printing it from top of secondary window.
    Hope it helps.

  • Tip for Data Merge with Multiple Records (labels, etc.)

I have seen many InDesign Data Merge questions about how to create sheets of mailing labels, especially the problem of getting only one label per page, when you need 30 or more.
Adobe's instructions are poor and incomplete in that InDesign doesn't step out the records from a data source - it steps out the FRAMES that contain the data field placeholders.
That is why you only need to place a text or image frame once on a single page - during the datamerge, InDesign will create the additional FRAMES for each record, and it will create the pages required to hold them.
You do have to set the desired spacing on the
If you create the frame on a Master page, ID allows you to update the data source (when it changes) in the Data Merge tool panel.
These are very nice and robust features, but the documentation for them is confusing to many people.
You will find more great in-depth help  for Data Merge, with screen captures and attachments, here in the forum.

For a multiple record merge you need one set of placeholders, then set the margins and spacing in the merge options so the positioning is correct.
Warning: Using Preview in a multiple record merge will corrupt the file. If you press the preview button, Undo after looking at the preview, then merge without using preview.

  • 1099 Two forms per page

We are looking for a PDF template solution where we can print two 1099 forms per page. I can see there is an Enhancement Request BUG 7604141 but we need a fix sooner than that may become available.

Our organization is having this issue with the new Adobe forms that were released. The 1099 smartforms print 2 forms per page but the 1099 adobe forms are only printing 1 form per the OSS  note that was just released - Note: 1949022. Is there somewhere in config that we can select to print 2 per page?
We are using IDWTCERT_US_1099MISC which will print just 1 form per page ( we also had to make some adjustments because the top gets cut off...)
form IDWTCERT_US_1099MISC1 will print 2 forms per page but it is not a new vendor that prints on the form it is a copy of the first on the page
The 1099 Interest adobe form prints 2 per page with IDWTCERT_US_1099INT - this is curious too because the smartform prints 3 forms per page
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Do you know how to resolve it?I am considering putting in a problem report.

  • 1099 Form - Misc doesn't print 2 forms per page.

The 2007A PLD form that we have prints only 1 form per page.  The 1099 forms that we have for MISC have 2 'forms' per page.  I have tried scaling the size of the repetitive area so 2 vendors print per page, but I am unsuccessful.  How does PLD know how many vendors (1099's) to print per page?

  • Multiple Color Labels

Would be good to be able to have multiple Color Labels for each image, rather than be limited to a single Color Label.
For example, at the moment I use Purple for flagging up Stacked Images, so this retricts my labelling of these images for other purposes.

    Hi Chris,
I asked for this a few weeks ago, and was basically told to use a different method.
    Here is what I do:
    Color 1=Possible Portfolio
    Color 2=Possible Print
    Color 3=Possible Stock image
Colors 1,2,3 are any of the 5 you want.... As I go through newly downloaded images from a commercial/magazine shoot I am culling them with my customers needs in mind, so I can't really think too much of my own needs at that point in time. But as I go through the images I may come across images that fit one of the above "Possibilities" . So my thought was to just tag the image with a color. Very simple and fast, my hands don't need to move much to tag with a color, and I don't need to scroll the mouse away from what I am doing and loose focus on the customers needs. This allows me to go back later, when I have more time and see what I thought might make a good example of one of the above "Possibilities"
So what happens if an image could work for all 3??? Well that is what led me to request multiple color labels per image. I eve suggested easy ways to implement the feature....
But I was told that I "Should" do this another way...like using collections or keywords.... Neither of those fits the bill for Fast and Easy image tagging like the colors do.
I don't have too much faith that we will see this feature.......

  • SMARTFORMS:Multiple Labels in one page

    Hi All,
We want to print multiple Labels (say 8 per page) in one page, we want to do this in SMARTFORMS. How can we do this.
The approach I am thinking of is...
We can have a Main Window and 8 secondary windows. We can loop through the internal table and depending on a temp variable (Which will increment by 1 with each loop pass) - which can have a maximum value of 8 - we can write contents in each of 8 windows.  I want to know how to setup a loop node and a secondary window below loop node. Is this the best way to do? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks very much!

    Hi Amar,
Great, thanks very much for the info.
I have come out with another idea. I have used a Main Window and 8 secondary windows. 8 secondary windows correspond to eight labels I want to print in a page. I pass 8 records as inputs into my smartform every time I call. Here is pseudo code.
    Call function 'SSF_OPEN'
    loop at my_itab.
      add 1 to record_count.
    if record_count = 8.
      clear record_count.
call function fm_name  "  Call My smartform
         EXPORTING
             control_parameters      = l_control       " set l-control-no_open, no_close = 'X'
    endif.
    endloop.
    call function 'SSF_CLOSE'.
    Thanks,
    Sid
