SNC login for BAPI active X  from VB.

hello dear friends,
Needs some advice, we are calling Sales order bapi from VB and due to SOX. we are implementing SNC functionality and so needs to enable SNC for BAPI call too.
I am new to BAPI etc.. so don't know where to being from. Username/password is hardcoded in VB in active x control.

Hi,
Create the Username in SAP as CPIC type and NOT Dialog User(ask your basis team to do this).
Yes, you can hardcode username and Pwd in VB . It will work pretty straight forward. I have used this earlier.
Then you call the BAPI from SAP in your VB code.

    Here is my installation details on Linux 32 bit OS:
    Weblogic server- wls1032_linux32.bin
    Repository Creation Utility- ofm_rcu_linux_11.1.1.2.1_disk1_1of1.zip
    SOA Suite- ofm_soa_generic_11.1.1.2.0_disk1_1of1.zip
    JDeveloper Studio, base install- jdevstudio11112install.jar
    SOA Extension for JDeveloper- ofm_osb_generic_11.1.1.3.0_disk1_1of1.zip
    The installation went very smooth and there was no errors in the same.
    I can successfully start the Weblogic Administration server from the command line but unable to start successfully SOA Managed (soa_server1), Infra and BAM server (bam_server1). I tried starting SOA Managed (soa_server1) from command line as well as from Weblogic console EM (after starting Node Manager) but always receiving the errors I uploaded in my post earlier. As a result I am unable to deploy any composite application

    We are developing a custom application on Netweaver platform which interacts with CRM system.
    As one of the requirements we need to <b>change the activity status from open to closed</b> in the transaction <b>"CIC0"</b>. 
    I am looking for some BAPI which can do this task for me. Can anyone help me on this issue?

    Thanks for the reply. I was trying to change the status flag from open to close using the said function module.I had gone through the documentation of this module and trying to use this with parameter "Status". The approach I am following is as follows:
    1. Assiging the sequence as
              a. BAPI_ACTIVITYCRM_CHANGEMULTI
              b. BAPI_ACTIVITYCRM_SAVE
              c. BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT
    As an input to Parameter in case of BAPI_ACTIVITYCRM_CHANGEMULTI  I am sending following:
    REF_GUID-> GUID of the transaction Activity.
    STATUS-> Status Key like E0003 for closed status
    USER_STAT_PROC-> Status Profile for my Business Transaction type ( Which is defined in transaction "BS02")
    As an input to "Obejcts_To_Save" in BAPI_ACTIVITYCRM_SAVE I am again sending the GUID of transaction activity.
    Now when I am executing all the above in sequence I am gettin error by BAPI_ACTIVITYCRM_SAVE  saying "Doucment could not be saved"
    I am not able to figure out what is the problem?

    Hi John,
    For your purposes, please use BAPI for production order creation from legacy system. There is no standard inbound IDoc available to use. SAP has an IDoc for outbound interface only (message type LOIPRO).
    If there is an inbound IDoc available, I would recommend to use an IDoc.
    IDoc technology has excellent error handling and will allow you to reprocess an error (if any).
    BAPI is also good approach to use and fast in term of  processing.
    For BAPI approach, you can use BAPI BAPI_PRODORD_CREATE.

    My user got the error message : Transaction type 100 cannot be used for activity 'Acquisition from invoice receipt w/ affil. comp.'
    when post the invoice via MIRO t code for 98% of the total amount.
    The posting was is related to affiliated company, & by right it should pick transaction type 153 but it is pointing to 100.
    If user post 100% , no error.
    Please advice.

    we formatted Database server and restored all the databases from the backup. but the sharepoint site is giving below error when i access the home page. 
    we have 3 application servers in that two are working fine,  but only one server getting the below error.

    According to your post, my understanding is that you failed to access sharepoint site with one application server.
    It was due to the MOM/SCOM Agent that has a SharePoint management pack installed, the agents Windows Service runs as ‘Local System’ and thus causes this.
    The workaround is to either kill the SCOM agent service, or set it to run as a dedicated service account.
    In addtion, I recommend to add the logon account of the SharePoint Timer service as a user of the SharePoint_Config database. Give role membership to the account db_owner.
    You also need to add the SharePoint accounts back into sql server.

    I have read many forums/blogs, but couldnt find a solution for this.

    As I understand, you found event id 3351 in event log. Please collect more information as below：
    Check if the error also occurs on other servers in your farm.
    Check if backup job is scheduled at the time when the event id occurs.
    Please run Config Wizard or psconfig.exe -cmd secureresources on all servers and test the issue again.

    Did you set what OWB guide says:
    To execute a process flow with an email activity, you may need to access different host machines and ports. New security measures implemented in Oracle Database 11g Release 1 restrict access to hosts and ports. You must explicitly grant access to hosts and ports that the email activity accesses using the DBMS_NETWORK_ACL_ADMIN package.
    For example, the user OWBSYS needs to send an email through the mail server mail.example.com using port 25. The DBA must perform the following steps:
    1. Create an Access Control List (ACL) for the user OWBSYS using the following command:
    EXECUTE DBMS_NETWORK_ACL_ADMIN.CREATE_ACL
    (’acl_for_owb_cc.xml’,’ACL for Control Center’,’OWBSYS’,’CONNECT’);
    The ACL has no access control effect unless it is assigned to network target.
    2. Assign the Access Control List (ACL) to a network host, and optionally specify a TCP port range. Use the following command:
    EXECUTE DBMS_NETWORK_ACL_ADMIN.ASSIGN_ACL (’acl_for_owb_cc.xml’,’mail.example.com’,25)
    3. Commit the changes made using the COMMIT command.

    When I debug via BAPI_PO_CREATE1 function, I found the KNT has the G/L Account inside, But when I call BAPI_PO_CREATE1 by Zxxx program and debuging it. It doesn't has the G/L Account inside KNT table.
    Could you please help to advise me how to do ?

    Just thought I'd answer here to tell you what's going on around FlexPMD.
    FlexPMD has been donated to the Apache Flex project and has been sitting there since then. In invested quite some time to find out if we would release FlexPMD soon. Even if if does work when using the Ant target the Maven part is completely out of date and I didn't manage to get things working in reasonably up-to-date Maven versions. It seems that FlexPMD had been a fork of the original PND which hasn't been updated for a really long time. Instead of fixing and updating FlexPMD to work on Maven again, I contributed a patch to PMD that helped modularize PMD 5.2. This has been released recently and even the maven-pmd-plugin for that version have now been releases. So this version allows to create a Flex language module for the official PMD system. Hopefully with this we'll get a well maintained PMD core to work on top of.
    Unfortunately I had to finish some other things first, but I do have this on my radar next. So please subscribe to the flex user list and you'll be kept up to date on any progress.
