Deleting Sales Order in CRM and connected R/3 - Help needed

I have a sales order created from the E-commerce scenario in CRM and has reflected in the R/3 system also.
Now I want to delete thi sales order from the systems.
I had cancelled this sales order from the webshop and thus the status in shown as completed.
Now when I delete the order in the CRM system it doesnt allow me to do so, though I have the option to delete the sales order (I am authorised to do it).
The error it gives is: "An error has occured in the system LOGPROD100 while copying the document".
If I delete it from the R/3 system it says you cant delete an order created in the CRM system.
Please guide me for this ASAP.
I will be ery thankful to any one who does it.

BIP 11g and EBS R12

Hi,
We have both BI Publisher 11g and are using EBS R12.
When I create a report in BI 11g, can I download the data model and the layout into files so that I can upload them in the R12 application to be used there?
What are the steps to do that (for the download part)?, knowing that for the loading in R12 we need a text file for the data template containing all the queries and a file for the layout (like rtf).

Coming back to my own question, with findings so far.
It seems you can not do this.
The tools does not seem to have any functionality to downoad e.g. the data model into a flat file.
And it would probably not be compatible anyway. Since EBS is using a different version.
I know for a fact that f.i. using the Word built-in for BIP 11g to create the rft file results in errors when trying to run it in EBS R12.
Maybe someone has different opinions on it...

Webcenter and ebs R12 integration

Hi,
We are having trouble with integration of WebCenter 11g PS3 with Oracle E-Business suite R12.1 in some of our ebs environments.
The step to set up E-Business suite portlet connection >WebCenter > Settings > Service Configuration > Portlet Producers > WRSP Producer failed with errors like :
Failed imports exist for producer /oracle/adf/portlet/E-Business Suite WSRP Producer_383c5156-9596-4eeb-a005-8b218dc41c33 which is currently not registered in this application.
A request to the producer URL "http://<host>:<port>/OA_HTML/portlets/WSRPServiceDescriptionService" resulted in a status 500 response with fault string "Internal Server Error (Caught exception while handling request: oracle.webdb.wsrp.server.ContainerRuntimeException: An internal error has occurred in method ConsumerRegistration.<init>())". The fault code given was "{http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/}Server".
The attempt to register the producer with ID '{1}' for connection '/oracle/adf/portlet/E-Business Suite WSRP Producer_10ce66f7-704f-4512-be60-f297896a6eee' failed.
Also, tried with WLS command - same errors
wls:/ecm_domain/serverConfig> registerWSRPProducer('webcenter', 'E-Business Suite WSRP Producer', 'http://<host>:<port>/OA_HTML/portlets/WSRPBaseService?WSDL', timeout=100, server='WC_Spaces')
It basically timeout. If timeout increases, it takes longer to hit the same error.
This error is only occurring with setting connection to ebs running 2 apps nodes and on RAC database on 2 db servers. Anyone has integrated with ebs with RAC db and multiple apps servers successfully ? If so, what version of Webcenter and ebs ? I've logged an SR and has not progressed much in the last week or two.
I am not sure if this is the right forum, pls let me know if there are any other appropriate forum for this.

From where do you intend to invoke the WSDL?
Through SQl, PL/SQL - By implementing Web Service Call-Out in the database. Refer http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B32110_01/web.1013/b28974/devdbase.htm#BDCGJJHD.
From Forms/OAF page - By using Jdeveloper to develop the proxy/stub, which can subsequently be used in the OAF page/ Forms

Unable to integrate OBIEE And EBS R12

Hi
I am pretty new to this tool am trying to integrate R12 and obiee my issue is,My production instance is in UNIX and my devlopment has been done on windows system,So on windows i created a RPD with a connection pool using ODBC connection and now it fails on UNIX.
Can someone tell me how to solve this issue,will i have to create a ODBC equivalent in unix or use a OCI connection,Which is the best option

Let me be more clear on this my development environment is windows so I have installed instantclient-basic- win32 -11.1.0.7.0 pkg on windows,my production is on Unix,So i create all my rpd in windows and I migrate it to my unix box.
Issue 1)
Right now my rpd that is created in windows with a connection pool using a ODBC connection.And I migrate this rpd to my unix box it fails,as there is no ODBC connection created in unix,So how will I create a ODBC connection in my unix box.
Issue 2)
By using OCI for my connection pool instead of OBDC will be useful? If so I am not able to use OCI connection on windows,The steps that I have mentioned on my last response has been done on my windows system.

Order To Cash - Product Catalog Siebel CRM Design

I'm trying to implement OOTB solution for "Oracle Communications Order To Cash", I've already deployed and configured sucessfully the following items:
-Oracle OSM O2A Cartridges
-Oracle Communications Order to Cash Integration Pack for Oracle Communications Order and Service Management
-Oracle Communications Order to Cash Integration Pack for Siebel CRM
-Oracle Communications Order to Cash Integration Pack for Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management
In the document "Guidelines for Building an Order to Activate Integrated Business Process Using AIA for Communications Foundation Pack 2.4" I found two Use Cases described in the OracleComms_OSM_O2A_SalesOrders_Sample:
-Double Play Promotion First-Time Purchase - Sales Order 10000
-Double Play Change Order - Sales Order 10030
In the document above I found the "Broadband-VoIP Double Play Commercial Offering" where is detailed the Components that we need to create in Siebel CRM and that's great.
But right now I have two questions to ask you:
1 - Can I get the Use Cases for the anothers scenarios conteined in the OracleComms_OSM_O2A_SalesOrders_Sample for example:
- Double Play Promotion change orders for broadband - Sales Order 10010
- Double Play Promotion change orders for VoIP - Sales Order 10020
Where a product is moved from one offer to another, those are complex scenarios that we have to Design in Siebel CRM ... The purpose is to define a Comercial Product Catalog that support that kind of actions that we have.
2 - Can I get the Billing Catalog design that supports that solution ?
Checking the Sample XML that we have in OSM Sample orders for the scenario "Double Play Promotion First-Time Purchase - Sales Order 10000" we could see in the /ItemReference/ClasificationCode elements a structure that looks like:

     ---- /service/content
     ---- /service/telco/VOIP
But we think that we need a service that groups both of the products asociated to the offer (Broadband, Voip) and we concibed something like that:

But we need to have certainty about the design of catalogues in both systems (BRM, CRM)

EIM integration with Siebel CRM

Hi Folks,
I have a customer who wants to integrate EIM solution with Siebel CRM solution and their basic requirement is to record all the chat, email conversation and other activities including the articles shoud save in Siebel CRM and Agent must be be able to get the info.

Siebel does offer email functionality directly within Siebel CRM. so to have everythign within the CRM it would be the most straigth forward approach to handle all the medias from the beginning within Siebel --> having all contact history already at the place in the CRM where your customer requests to have it.
for the voice and mail channel there is a multi channel adapter available integrating Cisco UCCE and Siebel CRM. Siebel does today not contain of a dedicated chat modul - so this isn't integrated (yet).
is chat a requirement you do face today? or as you talk about EIM "only" voice and mail?
if an approach for voice and mail would help to cover your customers requirements then i do auggest to have a look at http://www.bucher-suter.com/en/products/bucher-suter-software/siebel-integration.html.

Oracle BI EE Application integration with Siebel CRM 7.8

Hi all,
I've just installed Oracle BI EE 10 platform and application. I am unable to view any data from Siebel CRM ver 7.8. I followed the following steps to configure the application:
1. Installed BI platform
2. Installed BI application
3. Pointed ODBC connection string for OLAP and OLTP to the Siebel CRM and DW
4. Change metadata string for Siebel in Administration tool
5. Setup the variables for DSN, User Name, TBO and password in the connection.
6. Run the ETL on DAC for Siebel Automotive
All of the procedures worked fine. There were no errors in the installation or setup of the above procedures
I am facing the following problems:
1. I am unable to view any pre-built dashboards (I was able to view the pre-built dashboard in the previous release of Siebel Applications)
2. I am unable to view any data on BI Answers. I get an ODBC connection error when i try to view any data.
Note:
1. I've done a fresh install on a windows 2003 server machine
2. I am using AnalyticsWeb.rpd
3. The sample Paint.rpd demo was working fine
Any suggestions on what i am doing wrong? Do i need to post any logs here to make this more understandable?

As we know that only Inbound integration is possible in Siebel CRM on Demand.Has anybody ever done outbound integration in Siebel CRM on demand using Integration event or using ASP?

I have built a workflow.
Name : SH
Record Type : Contact
Trigger Event : When New record saved.
Then created action .
Name : Outbound Integration
type : Integration Event
I select 'Track Changes' for two fields named : First Name and Last Name as it will save changes in a file whenever any new record saved.
Then I went to Webservice Administration and downloaded zip file for Integration event wsdl.Also I downloaded wsdl file for contact.
There are few points where I am stuck.
1) In pdf,they talked about one xml file which will save all changes whenever any new contact record saved because it is created as Integration Event.
Which file is this?(Integration Event.wsdl???)
2) Should I use any of the above downloaded wsdl files to create webservice in siebel as I am doing integration b/w Siebel ondemand and Siebel CRM??
Can you give me a glimpse of the program to ping the queue ?Where do I need to write code in CRM on Demand?Which changes do I need to do in SIebel CRM?

Adobe Integration with Siebel CRM

We have to Integrate Adobe Forms with Siebel CRM and using vesion 8.1
Referred Some PDF's from 8.1 Bookshelf and clearly mentioned as Required Adobe Live Cycle Designer, Adobe Form Server
Can we get the same from edelivery.oracle.com or should we refer any other website?
Also Mentioned some JAR Files are required for Adobe Integration, where do we get these JAR Files
I have gone through with one of Siebel Public Sector's Functional Overview from iLearning.oracle.com, they mentioned
Siebel Self-Service, to see the Siebel Self-Service Functionality what is the CFG File we have to use?
Does this Adobe Integartion Supports in Siebel 8.0 version?

Mapping Roles/Groups between Oracle EBS R12 and OBIEE 11g

We are implementing OBIEE 11g with Oracle EBS R12 as source system. Also we are using Out of the box RPD for Oracle EBS R12.
But we are facing lot of challenges to map OBIEE 11g groups and EBS roles and responsibilities. We do not have prior experience with EBS as source system.
Can anyone tell how to map between obiee groups with Oracle E-Business suit R12
Is there any document link or notes regarding this.

EBS R12 : NLS size per language ?

We are preparing a test machine, so that we can perform a new EBS R12 installation.
Currently we have a EBS R11i.6, but we would like to do a VISION install and let key users have a fell.
As a second step, we will be performing a migration test.
Right now, I am making a document for OS team to prepare the server.
My question is space - NLS :
I've read the documents concerning a new installation, but so far could not find the space required by each new language added to the base install (AMERICAN).
In 11.5.10, it says (application node ~ 10Gb + database ~ 1Gb)
Anyone has seen this information in some official Oracle doc ?
I've seen a lot of Docs, mentioned in the Installation white paper, and EBS R12 Knowledge Center (Metalink), but so far failed - Probably missing something, somewhere, among the pile of documents.

On the same note, I would like to hightlight this for those who have :
Multiple languages are installed + Upgrading to R12 + Plan to apply "Latest HRMS (HR Global) Legislative" after upgrade
then please refer : Note:145837.1:
Optional (Step 5):For customers using other languages than US and wishing to apply translated legislative seed data, please apply the relevant language specific version of the consolidated translation patch after successfully completing the hrglobal.drv above. Instructions for applying this patch can be found in the patch readme. For additional information please consult Metalink Note 414434.1
Summary: The correct sequence should be :
1. Install Oracle Applications E-Business Suite Release 12 Baseline.
2. Run DataInstall and select legislations to install.
3. Apply hrglobal.drv
4. Apply R12 Baseline NLS patch for all other installed languages.
On a test env we applied in wrong sequence i.e. applied NLS R12 Baseline and then applied Hrglobal. And we had some data missing issue because of this. So wanted to share this with all.
