Hi, I have a strange problem:
I installed the SOA Suite on my laptop. From JDeveloper 10.1.3.1, I compiled the sample process DocumentReview (bpel_home/samples/demos/DocumentReview) and tried to deploy it. I have the following error:

What's wrong?
Thanks for your help,
Cyryl

Hi. I made another account for I can't email address in my profile.
I found that my problem is cluster specific problem. JDeveloper's default configuration works with clustered BPEL engines for simple processes that have no human tasks. But human-task-included processes are deployed without task forms with the same errors you'd had.
I found a work-around for it. I changed build.properties in the project for cluster configuration as below,
platform = ias_10g
domain = default
rev = 1.1
admin.user = oc4jadmin
admin.password = welcome1
http.hostname = the_server_address
http.port = 7779
cluster = true
j2ee.hostname = the_server_address
rmi.port = 23791
opmn.requestport = 6004
oc4jinstancename = default_group
And, yes, Ant would definitely be an answer for it, too.
Thank you for your reply,
Joon.

  • Can not deploy: NoClassDefFoundError

    Hi,
    i want to create a new folder in KM-Content of my Portal. Therefor i have write the following piece of code and import the libraries below. My problem is that i can not deploy my Application.
    I get the error message: Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/sapportals/wcm/repository/IResourceContext
    I have read that i have to add a Sharing reference to "knowledgemanagement" in the portaapp.xml file.
    But i use a Java Bean/Web Service (EJB) with a Application (EAR), so i have nothing with <b>dist/PORTAL-INF</b>.
    What can i do? How can i deploy my application and solve the problem?

                   IResourceContext rContext = new ResourceContext(user);
                   IResourceFactory resourceFactory = ResourceFactory.getInstance();
                   RID aRid = RID.getRID("/documents/Test");
                   ICollection aCollection =
                        (ICollection) resourceFactory.getResource(aRid, rContext);
                   if (aCollection != null) {
                        IResource resource =
                             aCollection.createResource("myFolder", null, null);
              } catch (Exception ex) {
                   ex.printStackTrace();
    regards,
    Sharam

    Hi Sharam,
    Make sure that you have your sharing reference set properly in the portalapp.xml file. Open portalapp.xml and click on the Application tab. This is what I like to have mine set to:
    SharingReference=usermanagement,knowledgemanagement,landscape,htmlb,exportalJCOclient,exportal
    Save your changes and the recompile/deploy.
    Hope this helps!

    Don't know if there are similar bug reports, I searched this forum for "10.1.3" but the search page stays like that for ~2 minutes, then stops without showing anything.

    Hello Frank,
    Thank you for your suggestion. I tried that and I got the same error. Looked more careful at it:
    Exception java.io.IOException: /my/home/data/opt/jdeveloper/jdev/bin/ojc: cannot execute
    I tried to execute it manually:
    $ l /my/home/data/opt/jdeveloper/jdev/bin/ojc
    -rw-rw-r-- 1 marius marius 1.9k Dec 2 19:20 /my/home/data/opt/jdeveloper/jdev/bin/ojc
    $ /my/home/data/opt/jdeveloper/jdev/bin/ojc
    bash: /my/home/data/opt/jdeveloper/jdev/bin/ojc: Permission denied
    Did
    $ chmod a+x /my/home/data/opt/jdeveloper/jdev/bin/ojc
    which solved the execution. Now Hello word works.
    I got jdeveloper as a .zip archive, which doesn't keep unix permissions. The Linux distribution should be in .tgz archive, it would have avoided this problem.
    Thanks!

  • Schema Validation failure in SOA Suite 11.1.1.6.0 but not in 11.1.1.7.0

    I have a composite that is deployed on both a SOA Suite 11.1.1.6.0 and 11.1.1.7.0 server.
    The composite exposes a service that my application subscribes to and sends messages to so the BPMN process can handle the request.

  • Preview can not find linked pages

    When previewing my index page I click on the links created
    using flash buttons and they can not find the pages on my hard
    drive. The flash buttons are incorporated into my basic template as
    a library item. When The error occurs the page address that is
    being looked for is shown as follows:
    file:///C:/KECSITE2/kecpartyfiles/Moonwalk-Bouncehouse-rental-Massachusetts-Connecticut/bo uncers_moonwalks.html
    If I click on the same link while previewing other pages ,
    the page is found and the address is as follows:
    file:///C:/KECSITE2/kecpartyfiles/KECPARTY%20SITE%20FILES/Moonwalk-Bouncehouse-rental-Mass achusetts-Connecticut/bouncers_moonwalks.html
    the page is displayed.
    all the regular html links work when previewing on all pages
    and there are no broken links found when I check links site wide.
    and the links both flash and html all work when published. This
    only started when I added the flash buttons as links.
    Is it possible I changed the way the preview works?

    suggestion one:
    Go into dreamweaver Preferences->Preview in Browser
    put a checkmark in "use temp files for preview"
    Suggestion Two: Do Not Use Flash Buttons.
    Just don't
    there are ten possible reasons this isn't working. If you
    just used text
    links to the other pages, there wouldn't only be two possible
    reasons it
    isn't working.
    again- suggest you don't use Flash Buttons or Flash Text.
    There's a reason adobe finally listened to us and removed
    Flash Text and
    Flash Buttons from CS4.

  • IOS Enterprise developer license:can I deploy to other subsidiaries?

    This is a question about the license terms for my enterprise developer account:
    My company all trades under one name. We have the same email address / website. But our legal make-up is multiple separate subsidiaries. I signed up with the DUNS number of the office I am based in.
    Does this mean that I can only deploy to people in my office? Or can I deploy to all employees in our broader company?
    (Strictly taken, the license terms seem to imply the former, but the intent of the contract is surely the latter)
    Thanks

    Thanks for the quick reply Mr Michael.
    Actually what I want to achieve is:
    I dont want to share my enterprise developer certificate with the vendor, so that signing can happen at my end only and I want vendor to develop a solution, also he can sign with his own developer certificate.
    So now he will be able to push that app on appstore (as you suggested one can push his app onto app store if he is using developer certificate only), so now I will take that app from appstore and resign it with my enterprise distribution certificate.
    Now after this I want to push this app again on appstore, is it possible?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Can not deploy after upgrading application from workshop 8.1 to 9.2

    Hi,
    We have an application developed on workshop 8.1 worked fine. when we upgrade the application to 9.2, the application can not be deployed on weblogic server. The error is

    When I remove the NTLM filter part in the web.xml, the application is able to be deployed. But of course application does not work propertly due to no authentication.

    Hi. The issue is a level or two above JDBC. I suggest
    opening an official support case. It's probably a
    WLW issue.

  • Can not deploy a report using JDBC connection on CR2008 Server

    Hi Group,
    I have a report created with JDBC connection. When I tried to add it to CR2008 server, it gives an error - "An unexpected error has occurred ". Basically I want to add a report to a public folder via CMC. I am using adminstrator account.
    Then I thought I need to add JDBC driver into CR2008 server. so I put oracle jdbc jar into CR2008 server classpath and add JDBC connection info into CRConfig.xml. but I still got the same error.
    I also tried:
    - Change the report to use native Oracle driver rather than JDBC. The deployment succeeded (but this is not what I want)
    - Add a data source connection via Business View Manager, but no luck.
    I know how to use/change jdbc connection with programtic way, but I just want to know if I want to use built-in components in CR2008 server without any coding the reports can be deployed and managed.
    Thanks in advance.
    Dennis

    Hello Will,
    Crystal Reports supports connections to JDBC/JNDI out of the box, and have done so for a while, whether stand-alone or published to Enterprise.
    To specify where the server would search for the JDBC driver jar files, you'd change the classpath tag found in the CRConfig.xml file found on the machine where the Crystal Reports Page or Job Server is running.
    For early Crystal Enterprise 10 and before, it used Java Native Interface (JNI) to start the Java process to retrieve the data from the JDBC connection.
    For later Crystal Enterprise 10 and later, it starts off a "Java Server" process, and communicates to the Crystal Reports process via CORBA TCP/IP connection.
    Commonissues that may arise:  (1) CRConfig.xml not configured properly, (2) unable to start or communicate to the "Java Server" because of permissions or firewall.
    Note that this is a separate connectivity map from using ADO or ADO.NET.
    Sincerely,
    Ted Ueda
