SocialMiner Reporting using CUIC

Hi,
I have just deployed SocialMiner 9.0 and from the dokwiki, I see that I require CUIC to run the reports. I have read that UCCX 9 comes with CUIC. My question is should I upgrade my UCCX 8.5 to 9 so I can make use of the CUIC to get SocialMiner reports?
Or is there another way to get reports from the SocialMiner?

UCCX 10 CUIC Custom Report (using external data source)

Hi.
We have a customer where we are storing information in an external data source. We would like to built a report and import that report into their UCCX CUIC System in order for the customer to have the new report along side with the UCCX built-in reports. We need to add the external data source to CUIC but I'm not sure if the strip CUIC version of UCCX can allow that. Is that possible?
I know that with CUIC Premium we can add third party data sources into the CUIC. The Premium CUIC NFR allows that and we can create the report but for it to work in UCCX we need to add the external data source to CUIC.
What are my options? If any?

Hi Jose,
You can basically build custom reports on a standalone CUIC server and import them to the CUIC on UCCX.
But I am not sure if this datasource is continuously polling information from the DB and giving it to the report and if this is possible.

Scheduling a report in CUIC

Hi,
Can I schedule a report in CUIC and I want that report to dumped in a specific location. Is this possible ?
I know the other options are to email the scheduled reports or to make it available in the dashboard. But, I do not need them. I need the scheduled reports to be dumped ina specific location.

We actually use a vbs script to move the "scheduled" report to a network share location. Set the .vbs to run using Task Schedule. Here is one of the scripts we use:

Using CUIC to Show Calls Waiting on UCCX 9.0.2

Hi,
I am about to deploy UCCX 9 for a customer, and they want to use CUIC to replace their existing wallboard. This appears to be fine with the exception that none of the existing or available report definitions show calls waiting (as they are based on the Historical Reports Package).
Can anyone offer any advice, or share a report definition that would allow me to show this?

Hi Tony
I've not played with CUIC properly myself, but basically you need to get a Lab or NFR kit for CUIC Premium; with that you can created customised reports and import those to the UCCX system.

UCCX 9.0(2) Custom reports with CUIC 9.0 issue

Hello.
I installed in our lab UCCX 9.0(2) and CUIC 9.0(1) with premium licenses. It's necessary for making custom reports used in CUIC.
I found this document:

What could be the problem?

UCCX 9.0 using CUIC - Accessing Custom Stored Procedure

Hello,
We recently upgraded to UCCX 9.0 to take advantage of CUIC. So far it's been going well but we had a custom report that we used on the old HR client. It was a copy of the Agent Call Summary report that called a different stored procedure. It was easy enough to create for the HR client. The only difference between the SP's is that the custom one doesn't count outbound calls under 5 digits so it excludeds any internal calls. I've tried exporting the Agent Call Summary report in CUIC and importing a new one but I can't get it to change what SP is called. Does anyone have any idea how I can get this to work? I've seen other threads that suggest that a stand alone copy of CUIC Premium is needed but I was hoping it wasn't since it's a fairly simple change.

Hello,
Any change to the storeprocedure or database access will require the premium version since the standard doesn't have the option to see the report definition.
If you have a LAB of CUIC, it comes with premium version for partners with only 1000 USD, you can use it and export the report and then import it to the customer, this how i usually do for small changes, other than that the customer is required to buy the premium version.

How to import a report in CUIC 8.0 Standard Edition?

Hi all,
We are using CUIC 8.0 Standard Edition. Cisco says in the CUIC 8.0 Data Sheet that it is possible to import a report with CUIC 8.0 Standard Edition. However when I am working with the CUIC 8.0 Reporting App I find nothing in it's Web interface regarding importing reports.
What is wrong? Does anybody know how to import a report with CUIC 8.0 Standard Edition?

Migrating Webview Reports to CUIC

Hello,
Everyone is running around with this problem since cisco stops the webview , the CUIC is a great reporting solution but the only thing CUIC is weak with is the stock reports , not only they don't include all the reports mostly needed but they can only be found in the half hour intervals (no consolidated reports)
After months of working and developing i finally found out a way to migrate the webview reports to CUIC in a database query (not only anonymous block) and here are the detailed steps:
1- If you have a webview server (version 8.0 preferred or earlier) go to drive c: then folder icm\custom (if you don't a ZIP file is attached)
2- Under the custom you will find folders for each type of reports (agent per team , agent per agent, calltype , skill group , etc.....)
3- Choose whatever report you want to migrate to CUIC (in this scenario we will choose the calltype22 report)
4- The file that is located under the caltyp folder is name caltyp22.srd
5- open the file using notepad
6- when you open the file you will find along list of data , you should ignore most of it , just search for (retrieve=") , after that you will find a SELECT , copy all the data from there until you reach (" arguments=) (of course don't copy the " arguments=)
7- paste the copied data into a new notepad , search for all the values (112) (it is usually beside the Datetime parameter) replace it with 101
8- delete everything that has the : like this
Call_Type.CallTypeID in ( :list_calltype ) AND
CTHH.DateTime >= :start_date AND
CTHH.DateTime <= :end_date
Any sql command that has the : remove it completely.
9- Copy the updated data and create a new report definition
10- use database query and historical datasource (because the report we are doing now is historical , if you decided to migrate a realtime use the real-time datasource)
11- paste the updated notepad file into query .
12- at the end of the page there is a create fields button, click on it and the report should be verified correctly and the fields are created.
13- after that go the next tab which is the fields , search for calltype (in other reports you may need the agent team , agent, skill group, etc... search for the ID value not the value it self) , click on the edit properties , below beside the value list choose the call types from the drop down menu and click on update.
14- go to the last tab which is the properties , choose the Key Criteria Field to be the call type (call type) and click on the historical checkbox below it , choose from Historical Key Field the Datetime value then click on save at the top of the report definition.
Now your report definition is ready , all what you have to do is to go and create a new report and assign this report definition to it , be aware that in case of creating a new report , all the fields will be visible so go to the edit view and edit the report with only the need values for you.

Sorry, i forgot to add that the above way is only possible with a CUIC premium version (standard won't have this option)
also the data for the times (like average handle and ASA) would be in in normall decimal (like 425) so all what you have to do is to go to the report definition , choose the fields tab , search for asa , click on edit formating , in the fromat field choose time (HH:MM:SS) value , also for the SL if you need , you may also change it to the % in the same way.
One last thing , if you need a footer (which is the total, average or max value) in the summary raw , edit the footer in the same place under the format to the needed value.

sales forecast and purchanse ordering quantity are the forecast values which will be feed at the starting of the year
and stock index there is formula to calculate so is for that is there any user exit to calculate that is there any std report for this or using sop 2 get this report

1.Hi when you create a infostrucutre as mentioned above you will have 2 tables generated by the infostructure
Ex: you create a Infostructure called s999
2. In such case 2 set of tables will be generated s999 and s999e
3. You will have the values generated through the plannigtype in the tabels999
3.Using the s999 table you will be able to generate the report that are required.
4.When you have created your own info structure you can also use the standard Tcode MC9C - Reporting to get few reports

Opportunity Product Revenue report using Narrative option

I have created quote report using "Opportunity product revenue report" with the use of narrative option and its working fine but the problem here is if opportunity has multiple product revenue items it shows in multiple quotes. For me it should show in a same quotation if there are multiple opportunity product revenue items in a opportunity. Could anyone help me how can i achieve this.

Creating a service report using SQVI

I am creating a service report using SQVI
The report should have the following fiels
SrvPO No | SrvPO Data | vendor | Stata | City | Type of Srv (Ad\banner|maintnc.) | Amount | Status(open or closed)
I am using the following tables using table join fnc
1. EKKO
EBELN-PO No
AEDAT - PO Data
LIFNR - Vendor
PROCSTAT - Status of PO doc

REGIO - State
ORTO1 - City
3. ESSR
TXZ01 - Type of Service (Short text)
4.EKPO
NETWE - Net amount of PO
All the tables are legally join but after executing I am not able to fetch any data or hardly one service PO.
And the selection field will be only From Date and To date.or the Service PO No.

Generate report using CURSORS? - Simple question

I'm a real newbie still with PL/SQL so please excuse my ignorance I have a simple report I need to generate. The following SQL statement gets me all my "header" records:

I expect I'd do this with two cursors, passing the value of my HEADER_ID to my second cursor. But when I've used cursors before, they primarily have been to import data, and manipulate data. But what if I just want to create a report using these?
I essentially want to display my header information, and then any lines below that data (if there is any, there may be a header with no lines).
Can I create a simple report like this with cursors? Any help with this would be IMMENSELY appreciated. I'm really under the gun... :)

Get a Report crashed error while running report using the mode character

Hello,
I'am getting an "Enable to run report - Report as crashde" issue only when I'am running reports using the mode character. The same report with desformat pdf never has any problems. I have changed the englife (set to one) increase the cachesize but I still have the same issue.
I'm using report 6i and Oracle 8i.

How to create a report using XML data source from Crystal Report Designer

Iu2019m having Crystal Report Designer XI R2 SP4. Iu2019m trying to create a report using XML data source stored on disk. This is a customer order report and the xml is structured in such a way that it has an order details header part (master) and then it has several order lines (detail). One order line can have several order line characteristics (detail-detail). So what I need to know is now I can design this layout from the designer. If this was done using views I can do it with sub-reports but using xml data this seems to be different. Can you help me to design this layout? I have included the xml and xsd as well.

Thank you for the response and ideas you have given me so far. I can get the fetch the data from the data source without any problem. That is I do the following,
1.     New Report
2.     From Create New Connection-> XML
3.     Provide the u201CLocal XML Fileu201D and have u201CSpecify Schema Fileu201D checked -> Next
4.     Provide the u201CLocal Schema Fileu201D -> Finish
Then I can see the following under XML

For this point onwards only I need help. How do I group, add fields and design the layout so I can get an report output as follows.

How can I achieve this kind of a layout using the give xml and xsd? Should I use grouping if so how should I do the grouping?
