SOE on Global Localization

Hi All,
I have finalized the SOE report setup on the global localization (for Oman legislation), but I face the following error message:
*"function not available to this responsibilty. change responsibilty or contact your system administrator."*
Can anyone advice please?
Thanks in advances.

Thanks zam_ora and thanks for all colleagues in this forum, Actually I've solved the above-mentioned problem, But I have another one, that is: SOE report shows nothing for all employees (non of the elements are shown) although the employees have been paid.
Note: I've completed all the required setup for SOE successfully.
Please advice why the SOE Report doesn't show earnings, deductions, total pay, .......... (nothing is shown).
Best Regards,

    Hi Hussein,
    In VIS instance I instaled all the localization products, but in CRP I only installed Global Localization & afterwards applied the UAE localization seperately & ran hrglobal.dev patch but now the forms for UAE hrms are diff for both CRP & VIS. Alternate name & additional information tab are missing from uae localization forms in crp instance.
    AE HRMS> People>enter & maintain>find person> new.
    Aso in CRP there is responsibilty with the name "UAE HRMS manager" & in VIS its with the name "AE HRMS manager". Really getting confused.
    Thanks.

  • Localization of global template

    Hi,
    have any body is idea about the Localization of the Global Template for US, Spain and Finland.
    modules are PA, OM and Recruitment
    regards
    Honey

    Hi,
    This is very specific question to your company:
    1. First of all due to design of global template and freedom to change/update it.
    2. Due to the scope defined in global template.
    You find country specifics for all countries supported by SAP on help.sap.com. These specifics should be respected. Then you can say you localized global template.
    Cheers

  • How to Change URL of BPA after clicking on Open Document in PO Notification for India Localization?

    In the Purchase Order Approval workflow notification , there are two links at the bottom of page under heading REFERENCES,
    - view PDF
    - open document
    So when we click on open document, the Oracle Forms loads and  purchase order screen will appear in the screen.
    In case of India localization, for standard PO the India local screen opens, where we can see the taxes by clicking on Taxes Button.
    But in case of blanket purchase agreements, when we click on open document link from the notification,we are routed to the application with the screen of global purchase order, instead it
    should go to Purchase Orders(Localization).
    We want to move to the India local po screen for BPA.
    So please let me know, where I can change the URL for Blanket Purchase Agreements.

  • Global attributes AP_INVOICE table

    What is the use of Global Attributes in AP_INVOICE table?
    TRM says its reserved for country specific functionality. Can someone give a real-time example on its usage?

    Could you please clarify as what you mean by reference column ?
    If you are not going to do any updates to that column it should be fine.
    If you plan to insert some values and AP is not implemented for any of the localization for your case you might do so, but its not advisable. I would suggest you go for the DFF columns attribute1 to attribute30.

  • India Localization+custom.pll

    Hi,
    We are applying India Localization to Oracle application is already running in global instance.
    What kind of back up we must take for custom.pll. There are many customizations done in global instance.
    Thanks
    Naveen,Sankuratri

    India localization ships a CUSTOM.pll, which has code for some of the functionality to work. You have to merge the code in your CUSTOM.pll with the CUSTOM.pll shipped by localization patches/ patchsets.

  • India localization from 11i to R12

    Hi,
    We have India localization in 11i.  Now, we have upgraded to R12.1.3.
    From DBA perspective, Is the below step enough to do in R12 for India localization?
    Latest Oracle HRMS Legislative Data Patch Available (HR Global / hrglobal) (Doc ID 145837.1)
    As per this, need to apply patch 12730429 and then followed by Datainstall and running hrglobal.drv
    Let me know if anything needs to be done apart from this.
    Regards,
    RKA

    Hi,
    Thanks.  We followed the steps as per Doc ID 954143.1.
    Also, We installed all preinstall patches as per
    Pre and Post Upgrade Requirements from 11i to R12.1 for Oracle Financials for India (India Localization) (Doc ID 1590646.1)
    But, Still after upgrade we are havings issues like TDS year is not migrated, Access some forms has errors saying "Table does not exist".
    Can you please let us know what are the other steps needs to be performed apart from installing preinstall patches before upgrade with respect to India localization?

  • [JS CS3 Mac&Pc] Enabling automatic localization problem

    Hi all,
    I’m trying to enable automatic localization in my script, as described in ‘Localization in ScriptUI Objects’ section of ‘JavaScript Tools Guide’ for CS3 (pages 87-88).
    I try the first example and it works as expected:
    $.locale = "fr";
    w = new Window('dialog', 'Test');
    btnText = { en: "Yes", de: "Ja", fr: "Oui", ru: "Да" };
    b1 = w.add ( "button", undefined, localize(btnText) );
    w.show();
    Then I read the following:
    >If you do not need variable replacement, you can use automatic localization. To turn on automatic
    >localization, set the global value:
    >$.localization=true
    I really don’t need variable replacement in my script and don’t want to type localize() around every string over and over again, because there are countless numbers of them.
    So automatic localization is just what the doctor ordered. I try the second example, but instead of the localized string I get ‘Object’.
    $.locale = "fr";
    $.localize = true;
    w = new Window('dialog', 'Test');
    btnText = { en: "Yes", de: "Ja", fr: "Oui", ru: "Да" };
    b1 = w.add ( "button", undefined, btnText );
    w.show();
    Any1 have any ideas?
    Kasyan

    Kasyan,
    You need this:
    >b1 = w.add ( "button", undefined, String (btnText));
    It's indeed not what you's espect from the description in the guide.

  • Adapter Engine Load balancing for Messages HTTP SOA/SOE

    Greetings all,
    We are currently implementing our SOE/SOA solution utilizing SAP services between a .Net Application.  Basically .Net -> PI -> ECC and back.
    We are load testing the system and are now experiencing the CI getting overloaded.
    We have upped the Thread Count (Thread Manager 350 and System Threads 120) and the Queue thread from 5 to 20.
    We are using SOAP with Principal Propagation.
    There is a hardware load balancer we are using which can spread the load between multiple application servers.  We modified the SLDRegistration host and ports (http/https) in Visual Administrator (SAP XI AF CPA Cache) in the global server node.
    In SXI_CACHE Got -> Adapter Engine Cache, it displays http://<sidms>:<port>/MessagingSystem/receive/AFW/XI
    Is this where the load balancer should be placed with the port name?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

  • Maintaining global lists for ComboBox values

    I would like to maintain multi-lingual lists of allowable categories to be used
    in ComboBox controls. The values for these lists should be stored external to
    the application or at some global level to that they can be maintained by someone
    who is not necessarily a developer.
    When the user chooses a language when the application runs, the arrayCollections
    containing the data/value pairs should be loaded with the data in the appropriate
    language. These arrayCollections would be then bound as the data providers to
    ComboBox controls in the various modules and components of the application.
    For example, in an application about cars there could be a ComboBox containing
    colors  - in English (red, gray, blue, black) in German (rot, grau, blau, schwarz).
    There could also be a ComboxBox containing body types: (sedan, coupe, convertible)
    or (limosine, coupe, cabriolet).
    ComboBoxes using the data could be used anywhere in the application - in modules,
    components or whatever.
    What would be the best way to approach this from a design perspective? Where should
    the lists to be loaded into the control's data provider at run time be stored?
    Scott

    Resource modules are probably the right answer. They can even do an enumeration of sorts (an Array of Strings, which sounds like it could be a good fit for colors). In any case, if you ensure that your model (e.g., CarBuilderManager, with methods like getColors() and getBodyTypes()) is cleanly separated from your views and the actual comboboxes, you can do your localization work in there. Then, in your view, you can declare comboboxes like
    <mx:ComboBox id="colors" dataProvider="{model.getColors()}"/>
    and you can easily adapt the localization without changing the view (e.g., if you find ResourceManager is not doing it for you, you can roll your own localization method).

  • Can anybody send or explain me about GEM (Global Employee Management) Urge

    Hi,
    Can anybody send the document or explain me about GEM (Global Employee Management),
    It is bit urgent.
    Thanks in advance

    Lol!
    I didn't see post until now...Not sure if you received the response yet...
    MGE is a subset or submodule of CE.
    CE concept is more align with and more import if you use SAP Payroll and Time. CE is concurrent employment where a person holds more than one position at a time in the same country.
    MGE is management global employee. Where a person move from one position to another during a duration to do an assignment. Upon completing the assignment, the person could localize there or return home.
    PNP and PNPCE. PNP is being discontinued and is replaced by PNPCE. The main difference between the two is PNPCE support the PERSON ID concept. Which is the unique identifier for an employee. It would be best to use PNPCE with MGE as you need that PERSON ID in the HR Report Category.

  • India localization issues

    Hi,
    Can anybody let me know what issues are generally faced in case of inidia localization especially when global template (Eutopean country) is there. Ex. issues in CIN, TDS, Check printing etc. Further I would like to know that in India fiscal year is from April to March and if fiscal year of group company is Jan to Dec what would be the impact. What strategy is suggested so that global reporting and india reporting does not get distorted?
    Thanks
