If you restored to factory settings/new iPod and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.

I just received some horrifying news from Adobe about my production suite. I just FINALLY learned today that what I've been trying to do for over a week now - CAN'T be done because of compatability issues involving updates of both Adobe & Microsucks Winders!!! I sincerely hope this is not your problem. Mine is ALMOST HOPELESS!! Being in this HOPELESS Obamma economy,,,, leaves NO STIMULUS in which to currently upgrade everything that needs upgraded for me to fully use my INVESTMENT in Adobe Suite - sad, horrible and SICKENING!!!

so i droped my mom's ipad on accedent while walking inside helping carry bags inside... and at fist no one really thought anything of it but we got inside and my stepdad went to check something on it and was like um... something wrong and i guess the fall put it into shock or something but we held down the 2 buttons and it light up but it was black and just with the back light on. And it still wont work so im not sure what to do... I know where the slide to turn it on is so i did that and it made the click noise to signal it was on and i pushed where an app would be and it went to it and made the music to the app... so it works but for some reason the screen is being all stupid... I really need to know if there is a way to fix the screen because if theres not im in a ton of trouble... please help!!!!

try holding the top button and the round button at bottom of screen
hold both until maybe an Apple logo appears if nothing after 20 secs

One of my apps (condition report app) has decided to only display on the top right hand corner which is only a quarter of the screen, not sure what has happened as i have not changed any settings went to go into it one day and it was just like it.
Please help!!!! Thanks KristyDo you have the most up-to-date version of the app? Did you upgrade to iOS 6? Did you check to make sure that the developer has updated the app for the new OS? Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the silver apple appears? Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the app?

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

You need to find out who the carrier was in Switzerland and see if they will unlock the device. The carrier with the lock is the only one that can authorize the unlock. You may need to check with the original owner and see if they can get it unlocked by the carrier if you do not qualify.

@Naiks, having suffered through unsuccessful synching attempts for Calendar and Contacts myself, l would suggest you try the following:
UNINSTALL iCloud control panel from your PC. Seems silly, but do it.
Go into Outlook, and look at the very top menu. Click FILE, then ACCOUNT SETTINGS, then click the popup box.
You will see a list of all your email accounts. Make sure that ONE of them has a checkmark against it. If not, select the account your want as your default, and click "set as default.
Exit out of Outlook and reboot your machine.
Now reinstall iCloud, check CALENDAR and CONTACTS, and do as instructed when prompted.
Reboot for good luck and now launch OUTLOOK. All that remains is to locate your iCloud Contacts and Calendar files, and make them your default.
IMPORTANT: Don't panic if you can't find your contacts -- they're there. Click CONTACTS and you'll see you have several available contact files. Locate the one label "iCloud" in grey type. Right-click on it, select PROPERTIES, then click the Outlook Address Book tab. Check the box that says something like "Make this my default Outlook Address Book." Keep clicking "apply" and "okay" until you've exited out of the dialog box maze.
You may have to do something similar with your Calendar files. I dd not, but if you need to, do it.
Everything should now sync pretty seamlessly.

I’m using Mavericks, and it’s still possible to select text to drag and for cutting and pasting. Left-clicking and right-clicking is still possible, too.
Try opening the Trackpad pane of System Preferences, and select the Point & Click tab. To right-click, ensure that your “Secondary click” checkbox has been checked; the small print under “Secondary click” is a dropdown menu which allows you to select the form of right-clicking that you prefer. (For instance, mine is set to “Click in bottom right corner”.) For left-clicking, is your “Tap to click” checkbox checked, or unchecked? (Mine is unchecked, since I prefer pushing for left-clicking over tapping to do so.) -

Oh my gosh I had the EXACT same problem, and for ages I couldn't figure out how to fix it until today. Here's what I did:
First I went onto my computer, opened itunes, and un-installed tumblr, vine and kik. These were the apps I was having problems with (it said I had them on my phone but, like you, they didn't show).
Then I went to the itunes store, searched for each one, and it said I could update them so I did (just FYI: for tumblr a window popped up saying "please click ok to confirm you are 17 years or older", so I did that also)
When I went back to my phone and tried installing them again (still on my computer), it worked!

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
When it says place the iPodin recovery mode use this prgram.
RecBoot: Easy Way to Put iPhone into Recovery Mode
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I have iPhone 4.Version 6.1.3.I have upload and purchased a lot of things from Apple store.It was Music free icon Japanese media,also Movie uploader icon.I was intended to open but requested to sign in and I was registered in You tube and Google.The Video has been opened and after 5 min,everything stopped.Screen Touch dont recognize anything.I mean I was trying to close the video but screen touch was not reacting.After I have switched off/on the iPhone but no result.I can switch on but cant press the buttons.And there is a voice which is just repeating if you are trying to press the button.Now I dont know what to do ? No, I have not tried any backup tools. I havent restored my ipod back to factory settings yet and then sync everything back on it. I am kind of scared too because I dont want to lose anything. I have just been hoping some new apple software update will come out because I know several people have had problems when updating to the newest version available.

Hold down on the sleep button and the home button at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen. Ignore the red slider. When the logo appears let go of the buttons.

I left it running over night, it was running perfectly, in the morning the screen was black. i tried to restart it and got no display but i can hear the machine running. so i put away for several months, plug it in, charge the battery, it boots, i have a display, it loads the desktop and freezes. when i try to restart it theres no display. the last time i tried, i started it, i got to the apple screen and nothing. whats the issue here? please help.
