Some hacker (that is well known to me) is turning my new iphone 4 on remotely and although I turn off my phone every night, I wake up to see it has been turned on by itself, the same hacker was hacking into my old phone. Any suggestions? please

I know for fact that someone is turning my iphone on remotely and hacks into it. the same person used to hack into my HTC phone before that is why I switched to iphone4, but I see my phone is being turned on by itself in middle of the night!! Could anybody help me please!! Thanks so much

Doubtful your phone is being hacked (unless this person had possession of the phone in the past and you or he/she jailbroke it) but turn off Bluetooth and Wi-Fi or put it into airplane mode and see if anything changes. I don't blame you for being concerned about your phone coming on by itself but, as the saying goes, when you hear hoofbeats think horses not zebras. It is more likely to be something innocent.
What proof do you have that this person hacked into your old phone? What proof do you have that this person is hacking into your new phone, other than you've noticed the phone being on?
If you know "for a fact" it is being hacked and by whom, get together your definitive proof of it being hacked and definitive proof of who is doing it and visit your local police department or visit these guys: http://www.cybercrime.gov/index.html. I believe it is a felony.
You could also take it to an Apple store or give Apple Service a call and see what they think. Maybe they can give you a few reasons why it is coming on by itself or can help you figure out if something else is going on.

Firefox doesn't show/display/load my addressbook within my hotmail account anymore, it worked previously well, so has nothing to do with the change from hotmail to outlook. Since a week or so, I realized a slowness in loading my recently used addresses with opening a new e-mail, but it was still working from time to time. For a few days, it has been stopped working, complete addressbook doesn't load anymore, just displays the load circle in the middle of the screen, apart from that I have only a white page. Cache and Cookies already emptied/deleted, result is the same. No settings have been changed, but have the same issue with Internet Explorer, but it's working with Chrome. For testing, I deactivated my firewall and anti virus (Comodo), but the result was still the same. I would appreciate if I could get it working again here. Every suggestion is welcome here

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

Today whilst using FaceTime on my iPad 2 it went back to the apple logo. I then went onto my iPhone 4S to continue the conversation and a few minutes in it did the same thing. Clearly a problem with FaceTime any advise please.

i have checked that java is enabled in the plug-ins and it is with version se 6 u22, also something called java development toolkit 6.0.220.4 np runtime script plug-in library for java (tm) deploy.
if i click on java console in tolls nothing happens

You might want to look in your control panel for 'Java' icon. It should give you an option to enable java plugin into your browser. Let me know if you still face the issue.

32Gb iphone 4 upgrade to 4s hung on step 8 Syncing genius data. What do I do, it has been over an hour. The back up location file size is not getting larger

Just got my new 4S. Backing up my 4 via USB and it has been over an hour 20GB on phone. It seems stuck at Step 8 Syncing Genius Data to Steve;s iPhone. Waiting for items to copy. The phone has the circles going round and round at the top right.
Do I cancel?

I Steve, I was having this issue with my iPhone 4 for now reason it started 'waiting for date' forever after the genius. In the end i reset it back to factory and resored from the last back up and all is well again.

You need to contact GiffGaff for assistance. This is more than likely caused by changes in the APN. You need to have the settings from GiffGaff so you can access data and internet.

HT4528 Calendar under IOS7.0.2 has been changed. does not work the same. what happened to LIST mode (multiple entries being displayed in list format) or am i doing something wrong?

I got use to using Calendar app where multiple entries are stacked under IOS6. Under iOS7.0.2 I enter a new appointment and after the entry I can not find the new appointment after i click on done. Am I doing something incorrect HELP!

The list view does not appear to be among the "standard views" for the Calendar app in iOS 7.0.x. You can still get the list view by going to the day view and hitting the search button (magnifying glass icon).

Hold the home and power button down until your phone restarts. If that doesn't work, backup and restore using iTunes.
