Some pictures are removed while creating pdf from MS word

Hi
I have some problems with creating PDF from MS word 2007 file.
I'm using Acrobat X pro and MS office 2007. My system is windows XP Pro SP3.
I'm making some documents including many tables and figures. They're created and modified in MS word and when I publish them, I have to convert them in PDF files.
At first, the body of the document and figures are separated. I converted them individually and insert the figure pdf files to the body pdf files.
One day, my boss wanted to combine the seperated word file into one file and I did it. There was no problem before I created PDF file.
There are sample of the PDF.
This is a part of missing picture. After conversion, another parts are unseen and I can find only this part.
Sorry that I can't reveal all parts of picture.
As you see up there, a little part of whole pictures are found (but they are reversed) and another pictures are just missing.
Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

I don't know about the PC version but in the Mac version if you don't have drawing objects checked in Print and
in the view menus, when you print to PDF, the images won't be there.
I would assume there are the same settings in PC even if you Print to PDF printer or what other method available to PC.

Adobe v9 on W7 and office 2007. cannot create PDF from MS word using Adobe. But can from Excel, PPT and other MS office apps. Reinslalled Adobe, updated Office, and Adobe no help! Also I can create a pdf from the MS Word and it is using the Adobe 9. So one would think that's good. No it isn't when you need to combine different files to one big PDF document. Any suggetions? Thank you

Yes, I’m saying that I can in WORD use “Save As ADOBE pdf” but cannot in ADOBE create a pdf file from a WORD (.doc or .docx) document. While I can from other MS Office apps like Excel and PowerPoint.
I understand I can use “work around” and save doc in WORD as pdf then compile all files needed (xml, ppt, pdf) in the ADOBE v9. to one big pdf document. But that is not the point of this post.

  • "stopped" status while creating pdf from AI

Hi, my friend taught me a way (to "print" pdf) to create PDF from illustrator that could make the file size much smaller, but now my question is, it works in my macbook (ppd version 1.1) but not my desktop imac (ppd version 1.0), the printer status always jump to stopped during the process of creating the PDF, anyone got any idea why? is it because of ppd version different? where can i donwload the latest ppd version. Many Thanks.

  • Create PDF from a Word document within Acrobat

    Hi!
I am having trouble to create a PDF from a Word document within Acrobat itself, and not by using PDF Maker in Word. When I try to create a PDF using Acrobat, it gives me the choice to choose any Office format file, but Word format doesn't appear. I can convert from an Excel document or a PowerPoint document, but not from a Word document, even if Word 2010 is installed and works perferctly. Why?
I know I can make a PDF in Word itself by printing to the Adobe PDF printer or by using PDF Maker, but I want to resolve the issue in Acrobat that prevents me to select a Word document in the Create PDF dialog window. You can see the dialog box in the screenshot attached.
    Any help would be appreciated.
I am using Acrobat X version 10.1.8 on Windows 7 Home Premium and I have Office 2010 installed (with Word 2010).

Thanks for your reply. PDF Maker works in all of my Office applications. However, in Acrobat, the file formats available for me to create PDF from figure all the Office file formats except the one for Word. This is not normal. At my school, Acrobat X and Office 2007 are installed, and I can use there both PDF Maker in Word and creating PDF from Word document within Acrobat.
So I think maybe there's a key in my Windows registry that is not set correctly? or something like that. I repaired the installation of Office 2010, and I did so for Acrobat X too, but it doesn't help. Any idea of how I can resolve that?

  • How to creat pdf from microsoft word

How do I edit pdf files

You don't.  Thats why they are saved as .pdf files to prevent changes.
You can create PDF files form Word on windows, by printing to a PDF Virtual Printer (you can google this).
You can create PDF files on a Mac by selecting Print, then clicking PDF on the print screen.
You can create PDFs on an iOS device with a third party app like 'PDF Printer for iPhone'

  • While creating pdf from html, the alignment is not proper

    Hi,
In my application, I am creating a pdf report from html using (using Generate pdf 1.1 - HTML URL To PDF activity) which contains certain images and descriptions.
But, while generating pdf the alignment is not proper. In the HTML there is no paging, but in the output pdf the image div is getting broken when new pages are generated.
Some blank areas are coming the report.
Actually I need an exact replica of the HTML as a pdf, with paging.
    Thank you in advance.

  • I'm using Acrobat 8 Standard on my PC Windows 8 machine.   Suddenly,  I can't create PDF from MS Word 2007.

When I attempt to create a PDF from a MS Word document, I get the following message: "Unable to Acrobat PDF files.   Acrbat PDF Maker.   You must have administrator priveleges to install these files.   Please contact your local system administrator."
I am the administrator off all programs on my PC..
    Please help.

There is no "update to Windows 8" available for the Acrobat 8 product family.
The updates at the ftp site are those for Acrobat 8.x but, again, they Do NOT Update Acrobat 8.x to be compatible with Windows 8.
    Be well...

  • Can't create PDF from MS word 2007 Doc

I am using CS3 Acrobat Pro 8.2 and I can't get a Word doc to PDF.  It starts but then just stops at about 10%.  I have tried importing from Acrobat and just get an error message stating "An unexpected error occurred. PDFMaker was unable to produce the Adobe PDF."
Anyone have any ideas as to what may be the problem?

Bill, when using Word or any other MS office app, the process begins the conversion then just stops about 10-15% of the way and the process window disappears.  No error message, nothing.  It just stops.  Now, I can save items as a "Quick and Simple PDF" but not as a "Fully functional PDF" when saving from Word.  So I have narrowed it down that far.  The screen shot below was created in Word and saved as a Quick and Simple PDF from Word.
When trying to use the Create PDF function from AA, I get an unexpected error message.

  • How to create pdf from a word doc that can be edited then turned into a form?

I am very new to Acrobat so try to be kind when responding with tech talk.   I would like to make a template for property inspection complete with pictures, text and drop down lists.   I would like it to be editable (add my pictures and notes and a date field) and still be able to be distributed.   Basically a template form that I fill out, then distribute for another person to add comments and approve through check boxes.   Thanks.

All of that is possible with a standard PDF form, except for the part about adding pictures if it has to work with Reader. It used to be possible, but they removed it. If the user will be using the full version of Acrobat (Standard or Pro), everything is available.
More information about creating forms is in the Acrobat help doc, and a number of forms-related tutorials are avialable at: http://www.acrobatusers.com
If you have specific questions, post again.

  • How to Create PDF from Illustrator CS3 by using applescript?

    Hi Guys,
Do some one knows how to create PDF from Illustrator CS3 by using apple script. If know, please give me the scripting.

Have you tried File>Scripts>SaveDocsAsPDF? There should be a folder of sample scripts installed in your AICS3 folder and a folder of documentation which contains an Illustrator AppleScript Reference which has examples.

  • Adobe Acrobat XI Standard crashes when we create pdf from scanner

We are using adobe acrobat XI standard, version 11.0.06
    WIndows 7 Pro 64 bit
    scanner: Xerox documate 4799
Acrobat crashes when we create pdf from scanner

Spent quite a while on this one..  My problem was related to twain drivers which reside in c:\windows\twain_32.  I'm running windows 7 64-bit.  First it's usually possible to scan in windows 7 maybe vista and from adobe without even using twain (using WIA).  So try renaming the twain_32 folder to _twain_32 and see what happens...  If that stops the crashing look at the contents of the twain folder.  I had a Dell folder for some printer I wasn't even using.  That was causing the crash. I removed the dell folder and renamed the twain folder back to twain_32.  Now everything works as designed.

  • I am trying to create a print ready PDF from a word file with unacceptable results.

I am trying to create a print ready PDF from a word file with unacceptable results.
The word file has a trim size of 6” x 9”. It has been set to mirror margins with the inner, top and bottom margins set to 0.75”, the outer margin is set to 0.5” and the gutter to 0.14”.
It doesn’t matter if I create the PDF from inside Word, or open Acrobat Pro 11.0.9 and click Create From File, while the resulting document size is correct and the odd numbered pages reflect the correct margins, the even numbered pages do not. This results in some text near the outer margin, as well as the page numbers being omitted.
Does anyone know how to correct this?
I just noticed that some of the odd numbered pages' text is also cropped. Apparently Acrobat is refusing to set side margins to smaller than 1" (@ 3cm).

I'm away from my printer, so I'll try it later. Even so, the proposed test is irrelevant. I operate a small publishing house and am trying to upload certain novels to Ingram, the largest book distributor in the world. The specifications I've set are the specifications they've asked for. Since they've said that the results I'm obtaining are unacceptable, and since they demand submission in PDF form, this renders Acrobat Pro for Mac completely unacceptable for anyone in the publication industry. As far as I can tell, Adobe has a serious bug here that it needs to fix—and at once.
