it happens on IOS 8.1.3, so I try to update the IOS to be 8.2 cause I think that it just the old IOS problem, but it still be the same that it still gone grey

I recommend that you start with taking a look at the Apple Support article to help you troubleshoot what the issue may be.
If that still doesn't resolve the issue, we will need to get the AirPort icon back on the OS X menu bar to continue. Please try the following:
System Preferences > Network > Wi-Fi > Show Wi-Fi status in menu bar (checked)

I've got the same problem.
It wasn't the case before the upgrade to v 9.2 (Iphoto 11) yesterday.
The previous solution preferences - advanced - "select a store" (last option) doesn't solve it anymore.

I used a partitioned HDD for time machine, using a partition already containing other data files. I am now no longer able to view that partition in Finder. Disk Utility shows it in grey and "not mounted". Any suggestions of how to access the files?

Yes, sharing a TM disk is a bad idea, and disks are cheap enough so that you don't need to.

I think you need to reset those questions. You'll need to call the tech support for your country, ask to be connected to the Account Security Team and then ask if they can reset the questions for you.

You can only view that rental on the iPad. For it to show up it has to be rented directly on ATV or through a computer and streamed via home sharing

There used to a 'buy all' button on the wish list screen but for some reason that has been removed from the current version of iTunes, you can only buy items individually by clicking on their prices (not the downward pointing arrow next to the price).

For some reason I am unable to delete certain e-mail messages in my hotmail account. Then when I delete other e-mail messages they re-appear when I check for my mail. Can anybody tell me why this is happening?

Try logging into the account on webmail and delete them their. Then try deletiong from the iPod.
Also try a reset, nothing is lost except hopefully the emails.

TS1398 Ever since I upgraded to iOS 7.0.4 my wifi strength is very weak and I have connection issues all of the time.

I upgraded my iPad 3 to 7.0.4 and now I have wifi issues I never had before and apple customer support is no help. Does anybody know how to solve this issue?

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

Since last thursday my ipod and iphone cant connect to any wifi, i have restarted and try multiple options, what to do?

since last thursday i have tried to connect my ipod and iphone 5 to wifi with no success. both devices identify different wifis but they can not complete the connection, i guess it has something about the new ios but i am not sure
ihave tried to connect at my home and office but none of the devices connects, i also have two laptops and they are connecting to wifi without any problem.

1. Forget the Wifi Networks in the Wifi section of Settings
2. Restart your phone, hold power button down until Slide To Turn Off appears, slide and wait for phone to restart.
Try to connect to wifi. You will need to re-enter password.
3. Reset your phone, hold both Home and Power buttons down until Apple logo appears, release both buttons and wait for phone to start
Try to reconnect to wifi.
4. Reset network Settings - Settings => General => Reset => Reset Network Settings. This is another way for the phone to Forget wifi network settings. You will need to re-enter passwords if you can connect.
If none of this work, you may have a broken phone and Apple will need to look it over.

My ipod touch only shows the apple logo, and i can't connect it to my computer. when i connect it, it doesn't show up in my itunes, or even in my computer. I was updating an app last night, and it wouldnt work, and it shut off.
