Somehow a new contact became associated with my email. Now all my email has her name on it. This happens only on my iMac, not on my other Apple devices. I have removed my email from her contact card and deleted her from previous recipients on Mail.

Check the settings in the Accounts for Mail.
Mail > Preferences > Accounts > Click on your email Account in the left column > What appears under Full Name in the right column?
If that is the incorrect name you're describing change it to your correct name.

If you don't have access to your rescue email account, or you don't have one on your iTunes account, then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

Connect the device to the computer.
In iTunes, select the content desired to sync.
Sync.

Updated ios8 on ipad: new calendar entries do not sync to other Apple devices through iCloud

After downloading the latest ios8 update, the calendar function on my iPad no longer syncs as it should with my other Apple devices. Specifically, it will receive calendar entries made on those other devices but I can not make an entry on my iPad show up on the other devices. How do I fix this?
Related to this, some of the support community entries suggest logging out of iCloud and then logging back in. But then I read that what I have to do to do that is to delete my account. I don't want to do that. I want to keep everything I have on my iPad- mail, calendar, notes. I just want the sync function for new calendar entries to work.

Check Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar (in the Calendars section) on your iPad and make sure it's set to an iCloud calendar. If it isn't, make this change, then test calendars syncing again.
If your default calendar is set to and iCloud calendar, go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Calendars, choose Delete from My iPad when prompted (they will still be in iCloud), then turn Calendars back on. Test your calendar and see if it syncs properly now.

There is only one solution. Each user must have their own separate user account. All of their respective data would be contained in their separate user accounts. This also means each will have a separate iTunes Library. If you all use the same third-party apps, then each will have to purchase their own copies under their own Apple IDs. If when you go to icloud.com and sign in with your current iCloud ID you see all your iCloud data there, you can safely sign out of the iCloud account on your Mac and choose Delete at all the prompts, then sign back in with the current ID. This only deletes the data from your Mac, not from iCloud. Your iCloud data will reappear on your Mac when you sign back in after a brief delay as it redownloads. If you have automatically imported your photo stream photos to your iPhoto library you won't lose them either (if you haven't, save them to your library first).
Again, only do this if when you go to icloud.com with your current ID you see your iCloud data there.

Can anyone help with creating a powershell script to create a contact card and set email forwarding at the sametime?
I'm looking to import a list of 200 users via a text or csv file, create the contact card with first name, middle initial if one exists, last name, (no alias) and put the contact card in the following OU "DIS###" in the a.b.c.com domain as well
as enable forwarding to @mail.com.
I've been able to create a script to enable mail forwarding but it doesn't help me without a contact card. I hate to put this upon anyone, but my ps scripting and Exchange knowledge is still in it's infant stage and I need get this done post haste

I currently have a csv file with two columns -- one named displayname and the next call mailaddress. Under the displayname column I have the users account name (first.mi.last -- middle initial if they have one) and under mailaddress i have @mail.com.

The above script should work if the contact card has been created. Obviously I need to create the card first.

Autocomplete has nothing to do with this problem.
From the Mail menu bar, select
Window ▹ Connection Doctor
Look for a disused SMTP (outgoing mail) account in the window that opens. Double-click it. Another window will open, showing a list of all the outgoing mail accounts. The unwanted one will be selected. Click the minus-sign button to delete it, then click OK.
If there's more than one unwanted account, repeat.

You can turn iMessage off on your iPhone. That's relatively easy. Since iMessage is an Apple product/service, I have no idea how a Samsung phone will deal with an incoming one. For that answer you should probably contact Samsung support.

There isn't an email address associated with the contact name who appears as the "from" in Mail. It used to be a shared email address and I already had updated the contact to list only the phone number in case that was causing the problem.

There are a lot of posts in the forums today with people having problems with iMessage. There was also a published outage yesterday, so it's possible there are still some issues that may be impacting you both.
I would just wait it out - I'm sure it will be sorted out soon.

You cannot do that. The AppleID you used to create the iCloud account is an active primary email address. The email address you created with the iCloud account is also an active primary email address (all Apple domain email address automatically become AppleIDs as well). You cannot replace the primary email address on one active AppleID with the primary email address on another, active AppleID.
You can use your iCloud email/AppleID with iTunes, but it will be a separate account, so all your previous purchases remain tied to the other AppleID you have.
I don't understand your statement that you could not remeber your old AppleID password, as you would have had to use it to create the iCloud account in the first place (the first step of creating the iCloud account required you to login with your existing AppleID and password)?

How can I use different calendars associated with different emails to see appointments separately?

Don't have LV handy to open the old code, but I did read through the thread you referenced. It sounds like the example configured 2 counters to create the variable-freq finite pulse train and configured a 3rd counter to count the # steps generated as verification. That 3rd counter would be a problem for you as there is no internal timing signal connection between your 2 USB devices. You would need to run a physical wire connection and change some of the config code to match. Alternately, you could just delete all the code associated with the 3rd counter for now because it isn't strictly necessary.
Further advice/questions: Are you planning on a pure sine wave of frequency such that you oscillate with both positive and negative velocity (example: varying from -1000 to +1000 Hz clockwise)? Or is there a nominal average frequency with a small sine wave superimposed (example: nominal of 1000 Hz clockwise, variation of +/- 50 Hz)?
I *think* you may be dealing with more of a continuous pulsetrain situation, which is actually much simpler. You would only need 1 counter/timer, though you would still perform the freq changes in a timed loop which uses the pulsetrain as its timing source. You'd just need to keep track of your total elapsed time so you could figure out the right sinusoidal freq value at the moment you're ready to update it.
Another subtlety to watch out for if you're oscillating about 0 velocity -- don't try to create a frequency that is lower than the rate at which you need to update. Also, with steppers you may have mechanical stability issues at low freqs like 10's to low 100's of Hz. These kinds of things may need to be managed as special cases which force you to deviate from a "pure" sine wave.
