Songs bought on iPhone deleted during sync. How do I get them back without having to purchase them again?
I recently got around to syncing my iPhone 4S with my laptop - hadn't done it for a while. For some reason it seems that the sync wiped the songs I had been purchasing over a few months via the iPhone on iTunes music store - and now they can't be found anywhere! Neither on the phone nor the laptop.
have any of you experienced this and how did you get your tunes back???

Thanks for the tip. Tried that - but seems not to work on the Danish iTunes store. Something to do with rights, I think. But will try again. Any other ideas?

Unfortunately you can't. You could try contacting Apple and asking nicely, but they're under no obligation to help you. If you can wait until fall*, when iCloud is officially launched alongside iOS 5, you can probably download them all again then.
The small print at the bottom of http://www.apple.com/au/icloud/ says "some music features of iCloud are available in beta now in the U.S. only"
I can't find anything which guarantees it will work outside the US after the beta, but it probably will. iTunes Match is definitely US only, for a couple of years at least until the legal stuff is dealt with.

Recently got a new computer and downloaded iTunes. All of my music has downloaded from the cloud witht the exception of one song. I have tried transferring from my phone, but it won't work. How do I get it back without having to download again?

I have somewhat of a similar problem. After iTunes last update, I am missing some of my purchased files of music,ringtones, and TV shows. Possibly movies, but just thought of that and did not look yet. Seems everytime there is an iTunes update, something happens, but usually an easy fix by just deleting music files from CD's that I loaded onto iTunes and no longer recognized after an update and reload from the hard drive. This time I do not have a current back up of all the music, ringtones, and tv shows I have purchased.
So I am also wondering how can I redownload purchases without being charged when there is no file left on the hard drive. It just stays listed in iTunes though. -

You purchased it directly from Amazon, not the App Store? It was a downloadable application, or one that came on physical install DVDs?

I had to restore my phone and before I did it I bought a ringtone and now I do not have that ringtone. How do I get that back without having to repay for it?
Call iTunes support and see if they will re-grant it back to you. Shouldn't be a problem, they have done it for quite a few people I know.

Out of the blue, all of my purchased ringtones and music aren't displayed anymore on my iPhone.
I went to iTunes to see if they were stored there, but the downloads folder also appears to be empty. If I try to select a ringtone I've downloaded before, a popup appears saying that I've already purchased that item and asking if I want to cancel or buy. If I click on buy, then I pay for the item again even if I already have it! The only place I can still see my purchased items is in the iTunes application on my computer, but even though I've already selected sync, the ringtones and songs still won't appear on my iPhone.
What happeneded and how can I get them back without having to pay for them all over again?
Thank you!I'm having the same problem on an iphone 4s running iOS8; when i updated to iOS8, all my ringtones went missing, and when i got a £50 gift card for christmas (2014), I purchased some songs from the iTunes store on my iPhone. i downloaded songs from paramore, panic! at the disco, coldplay, and imagine dragons, over wi-fi, and they went into my iphone music library; but when i re-opened the music app a few days later, in a place where i had no wi-fi, except for my 3G phone signal, some cloud icons appeared next to my newly purchased songs, telling me to re-download them from the cloud, when i haven't even deleted them. this has happened twice now, and i had to use up some of my 5GB data allowance to redownload them from the cloud. This is annoying and i need to fix this issue ASAP.

Hi Jen. My daughter just compleated her nursing program and is now working as a full time nurse. Focus and study hard and soon you will be there too. Now to the problem at hand. I have the same problem. I gave up on it and satisfied myself with my iPod without the upgrade. Reason being I've read so many posts of people having problems after the upgrade. But I'm sure other factors are involved. Nevertheless here is the fix most say works to solve the problem: What ever virus protection you have installed on your computer, disable it. Then try to install the update. After that enable the protection. I had Kaspersky, and it does it's job well. The thinking is, the virus protection is blocking the upgrade. Hope this works. Charlie

The songs are still on her ipod.
They should transfer ok but make sure and use the same Apple ID that was used for the original purchase.
Connect the iPod to a computer, launch iTunes.
From the iTunes menu bar click File > Transfer Purchases From...

There are 158 songs that were once in my iTunes that are now missing. I put all of them on from cds. The only songs that are left are ones that i have purchased. When i pulg my ipod into my computer to add recent songs that i have bought it tells me that i need to erase and sync my ipod with my itunes library or cancel. Well i dont want to erase my ipod and sync it with my itunes because that is 158 less songs that would be on there. On the apple website it said that songs from cds are in the itunes media folder but when i went there it is still just my purchased songs. I dont know what to do except reload all of them back on there but i really dont want to since im not the one who took them off!! Im not entirely sure when the songs went away but i recently updated to itunes 10.4 (i think its .4) and im not sure if that is why they are gone. Thank you in advance to any help!!

After deleting an app how do i get it back without repaying for it?
I bought the $20 dollar audio upgrade for my NHL Gamecenter App so i could listen the games, well the app stopped showing me scores. for days i tried everything to get scores back. exited app, shut down phone...etc... to no avail. so i had to delete the app. after getting it back downloaded it shows scores again, but now they want me to pay another $20 dollars to get the audio upgrade again that i already paid for. anyway to get my in app upgrade back without re-paying the $20 dollars again?

My boyfriend changed his pass code on his iPhone 5 and does not remember it. He's tried every possible code and now his phone is disabled and says to connect to itunes. I'm wondering if there's some where we can go take it to to get the password off without having to reset the whole phone and loseall all our pictures. Any info please I'd greatly appreciate it. I've called our carrier company and I can't do anything but referred me to apple.
If this iPhone has previously been synced to a computer you can connect to that computer which will unlock it.
If you have not done so there is no way to use it without Restoring it and losing your information. -
I am currently using Hotmail with syncing enabled for mail and contacts. However, I cannot find or add the fields for family members or any relationship other than manager and assistant. I cannot add the fields manually, nor can I get Siri to assign the proper relationship to the right person (everyone defaults to manager or assistant).
I'd really prefer not to have to use a different email address just to be able to use the phone; however, up until I synced the accounts I was able to edit relationships. Can anyone help me out?This is a limit with an Exchange account.
