SONY !! We need an update for Cairo timezone !!

Hi there .
We need an update for Cairo timezone ..
Because there is no upcoming daylight saving time .
So my phone shows that Cairo is GMT+03:00
And now it should be GMT+02:00 after we cancelled the daylight saving time or as we call it "summer time"
So what should i do ?? My mobile gaves me an incorrect time !!
Please tell me how to update my phone to work with the new time in Cairo .

I can't see a Daylight saving option on my phone, and also Cairo should be GMT +2 by default, then add 1 hour for Daylight saving.
To solve your problem, you'll need to set your time and date manually.

It's not just iTunes you need to update...
You need to upgrade to Leopard v10.5.8 at the very least in order to sync, restore, and backup an iPod touch.

Need manual updates for 9.2 and 9.55 to do clean reinstall of acrobat 9.0 pro from cd

I just did a new nstallation of acrobat V9.0 professional from CD:
I need a link to the master incremental update for 9.2 and the master 9.55 incremental update that goes from V9.2 to V9.55
I am looking for a master baseline release.
My reinstall is on an old XPSP3 machine. When acrobat professional 9.0 goes away I will still need the incremental update from V9.0 to V9.55
I do not need to put acrobat X or acrobat XI on this machine. A new acrobat X or acrobat XI license is for a new machine.
I keep all my master and incremental updates in archival. That way i can rebuild my machine.
This is the way it is normally done.
the autoinstaller jumped me from V9.0 on CD to V9.2 and from V9.2 to V9.55.
I dont' see master releases in the table that do the same thing.
there were only 2 updates.

Most of the manual updates are not cummulative. It sounds like you did the updates from the help menu (and many of those are cummulative -- don't know why they are not available). You may be able to find the updates you used on your harddrive -- I have seen them before, but don't remember where, probably the users folder or such.

Final cut pro 5.0.4 update (need to update for job)

im probably the one person in the company to still run 5.0.4 instead of 5.1.1, mostly because im never given an option for notified to update.
I have Final Cut Pro 5.0.4, not sure if i registered it. The popup comes up once in awhile, but hasnt lately. Usually hit "Ask Later" or whatever.
Anyways im unable to open footage because the file format is too new to read for my fcp version. I downloaded "FinalCutProUpdate5.1.1.pkg", but it only updates 5.1.1 versions... I need to get my version of 5.0.4 updated to 5.1.1 so I can continue working without much loss.

I need an update for my DVD Drive HP & not rely on Microsoft

I am having a HP DVD problem & i tend to disagree if ya say that my DVD drive (HP DVD RW AD-7586H) needs replacing. My dvd drive works when it wants to (Has a mind of its own). The latest update for my DVD Drive is 21/06/2006 (7+ year old way out of date driver). Ive uninstalled my DVD Drive & re-installed after bootup & that didnt do nothing & i have used quite a few programs to update my driver (Driverbooster, DriverScanner etc) & there is never, ever an update for my DVD Drive via DriverBooster, DriverScanner or my HP Suppoort Assistant. EVER. If HP can give me a BIOS update, why dont you send me a DVD Drive update via me HP Support Assistant HP???? Well i think its a bout time HP should create an update to fix all DVD problems instead of relying on Microsoft to fix it. If my DVD Drive was Windows well i'd use the microsoft Fixits, but considering its a HP DVD drive , i think HP should fix the problem, not Microsoft.

What you see in divice manager is the control driver for the dvd drive, what you are really needing to look at is the firmware version on your dvd drive & see if a newer firmware is available.
Generally a lot of faults even intermitant ones are more hardware than firmware, drives are very cheap though & a 2 minute job to replace if needed plus you can source a better quality drive & spec as desired.
i think KH21 is newest firmware for that dvd drive.

More Basic Info Needed - Software Updates for Tecra A4

Iv' e downloaded a few software updates for my Tecra A4 but they all seem to have basic information missing.
Where is the simple .txt files that shows file history? Like what improvements have taken place? Or what bug fixes? Or is this just installed overwriting the old version?
This is basic information that is included in any software downloaded from shareware and freeware sites and just about everywhere else so why not on the Toshiba download page?

Well, this is a good question but as far as I know on the driver download website you will find a option called more info. There you will find common information and some description. It seems that all other informations are confidential.
I think if you have some troubles with your unit and you will be able to find newest version of some drivers so you should download and install it.
Toshiba software is not freeware and also not shareware software. In this case I can understand why Toshiba doesnt publish more information as needed.

My pavilion dv6208nr needs an update for the NVIDIA card. Who has them?

I am running Windows7. Some of the newer games are causing system hangs when I exit the game. I have been told I need newer drivers for the NVIDIA Geforce 6150 card. The downloads from NVIDIA do not work, or I need some help with the download since I don't see a driver update on the HP sites for Windows7.

I would be curios to know if you ran the automatic driver search function from NVIDIA as they don't actually list one for the Go 6 series anymore.
If you haven't done so, try running that utility.

From your support page I see you are also running NVIDIA chipset driver, run the utilty for the motherboard as well. Install the chipset driver first if it finds something.
In all cases save the downloads to the desk top and install them from there, not from a temporary folder.
Another possibility is that the computer is too out of date to run the newer video games and if you look at your specs, it only has 288 MB of video memory and 1 GB of RAM.

I can't help with your problem since I don't have garageband, but installed the QT update with no problems. My advice? Get a bootable, external HD, and make a bootable backup/clone before upgrading/updating and ensure that works like the original. Why does Adobe keep telling me I need an update for my Flash Player?
