Sort Order of BIN Location Content Issue

SBO Version 9.0 PL08 HF1
We have an issue with trying to create a stock transfer document from within the 'BIN LOCATION CONTENT' screen. We have selected the option to 'Clear Stock'.
We have sorted the list by Item code and then selected the items we want to include.
We then clicked Stock Transfer > Clear Stock, which then generates a list of items which are either NOT in the order we sorted them by or we not even select on the opening screen.
One thing we have noticed from the system message bar at the bottom is that it has the following message in it:
"One or more selected warehouses or bin locations cannot be cleared or replenished."
This is proving very frustrating so any assistance would be greatly received!
Thanks,
Sarah

Hi,
Please check SAP note:
1978411 - wrong items in stock transfer created from bin location
content list

    And all of a sudden it gives this error though I have not touched any settings:
    "Set operation failed due to incompatible sort order. (HY000)"
    Error Codes: OPR4ONWY:U9IM8TAC:OI2DL65P
    State: HY000. Code: 10058. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: HY000] [nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred. [nQSError: 59107] Set operation failed due to incompatible sort order. (HY000)
    Please Anybody let me know how can I sove this..It makes my report so inconsistent......Its very critical...
    This is my first post...Hope to see a reply soon.
    Thanks,
    Farha

    Hi,
    I guess you are using UNION to join four reports.First thing in each. of the report dont put any sort on any column and apply sort only on result column.
    [nQSError: 59107] Set operation failed due to incompatible sort order
    Set operation failed due to incompatible sort order.
    To resolve the issue
    1)check SORT_ORDER and SORT_ORDER_LOCALE parameters in the NQSCONFIG.INI file.
    2)Then go to database features tab in RPD(I guess its in connection name) and check SORT_ORDER_LOCALE parameter.Make sure that it doesnt match with SORT_ORDER_LOCALE value in NQSCONFIG.INI.
    Please refer to below link for your reference.Above mentioned steps are well illustrated in this link

  • Default sorting order

    Hello,
    When I search for a specific podcast, it lists 50 entries from the feed, on the iTunes search page. The default selected column is the first one; 1-50. How is this order primarily determined? By popularity? I'm noticing jumbled up entries. For example, old ones mixed with new ones. It seems like it is sorted by popularity, but wanted to confirm.
    Thanks for your assistance.

    Apple's Podcast Tech Specs page says:
    'The order in which the episodes appear is based on the pubDate for each item, with the most recent episodes appearing at the top of the list.'
    However clicking on different columns will produce a sort order based on the contents of that column.

  • Sorting order.

    I've another Bridge annoyance I don't quite know how to fix. It's the sorting order. I like to sort by Filename. That way edited copies of images show up right next to the master file. But when I close Bridge's window (hide it, as it's still open in Dock), and later open it again, the sorting order has changed to 'manually'. It does this every single time, so on opening Bridge I always have to change this. I have looked at how I can keep the sorting order fixed, but couldn't find it. Anybody know how to do this? Thanks a bunch.
    Levina

    Last used sort order should be kept when having restarted Bridge as it is
    the same when using hide or minimize to dock icon. It does so in my version
    so there will be no reason why it should not in yours .
    Remember that when having used a sort order and only having changed the
    order of one file it auto changes to manual sort order.
    Also there is the option to use the sort order and window location fixed in
    a new workspace ?
    Also remember that whenever Bridge starts behaving odd the first thing to
    try is to reset preferences. Close Bridge, restart it with holding down
    option key and choose reset preferences from the provided menu. Set the
    preferences again to your wishes and try again.
    I have looked at how I can keep the sorting order fixed, but couldn't find it.
    Anybody know how to do this? Thanks a bunch.

  • Hyperion Planning- Account dimension - Sort Order Issue with ODI 11.1.1.5

    Hello Experts,
    First of all, I thank you everybody in this forum for posting their valuable suggestions.
    I am facing a strange issue with ODI (Version 11.1.1.5) while loading metadata to Planning ACCOUNT dimension (Version 11.1.2.x). I am using a Oracle view to load metadata to this dimension. I have defined the sort order in the view and enabled SORT_ORDER_BY_INPUT. For the fresh load to the dimension, everything is working fine. But, when I move a member from one parent to another parent, and define it as the top member of new parent, it is missing its sort order.
    But it is working fine if you define it as the second, third...or last member under new parent. I have tried all the possible ways by flipping all the properties but unable to fix it.
    Please help me here to resolve this issue.
    Your help is greatly appreciated!!
    Thanks

    To be honest I think you are best logging it with Oracle because it sounds like you are doing everything correctly so it could be a bug.
    Have you tested this on any previous versions of ODI or is it a new installation?
    If it does get logged with Oracle please keep me informed of the outcome as I would be interested to hear.
    Cheers

  • EPMA 11.1.2.1 dimension build from FlatFile to EPMA to EssbaseASO using ODI, member sorting order issues

    We are building our EssbaseASO cube using FlatFiles which are pushed to EPMA via interface tables and then the EPMA Essbase app is deployed to Essbase, this entire job is done through a ODI interface/package. The problem I am facing is the Order in which members in EPMA appear, even though the FlatFile has the right sorting order, by the time the hierarchies arrive into the EPMA interface table the sort order is changed randomly.
    I am using the File to SQL control append IKM in ODI and some where on the way I saw a suggestion to add a new option to insert "ORDER BY" into the IKM. I successfully did this and it did change the sort order but even this is not the right order(order in which my flatfile has the dimensions).
    I can't understand why Oracle/ODI needs to randomize the rows without being asked to do so! Please let me know if anyone has faced this issue before and if they were able to resolve it.

    The EPMA interface tables have a SORTORDER column. Make sure this is populated with numeric values sequencing the order you want your members to appear in the EPMA hierarchies and when you import from the interface tables this order will be respected. Prior to this feature being introduced the workaround was to create a view referencing the interface tables imposing the required ORDER BY clause but this isn't required in 11.1.2.1 just use the SORTORDER column

  • Iphoto album sort order issue.

    Stadard iphoto album (iphoto 11) being manually sorted suddendly reverted to what appears to be a random sort order.  The order now is not by date, camera, keyword, or any other.  It appears to have set its own manual order.  How can this happen? Is there a way to revert back to the previous sort order?  Even if I had mistakenly reset the manual sort, wouldn't it default back to one of the standard sort criteria?

    want to replace the original photos in the event
    You don't have to.  If you look at the photo in the Event that tghe photo came from you'll find that it has been edited.
    The photos in albums are only pointers to the original photo in the Event.  There's no file duplication in the process of adding a photo to an album.

  • ITunes U Sort Order Issue

    I purchase a lot of audio courses from a company called the Teaching Company. I buy and download them as MP3's and they've worked great on all my iPods (I have a nano, a classic, and a touch 64GB). I previously kept all of the course lectures in my Audiobook section to keep them separate from my music and podcasts and other media. This was fine until I decided to purchase an Audible account and began to build up a large library of audiobooks as well. When I got my brand new 64GB iPod Touch and the new iTunes, I saw that iTunes U was now a separate entity within my library. So, for organizational purposes and to allow me to better fine-tuning of my sync preferences (I much more media than could ever fit on any of my iPods at one time), I moved all my educational and lecture media out of my Audiobooks area and into iTunes U by editing the tags through "get info".
    This has worked just fine except for one mysterious problem.
    When I view any of these audio courses (each course is an album) in iTunes, they display fine in normal sort order by track number. But when I go to listen to them on my iPod, the sort order is all jumbled up and all the tracks are out of order. So I cannot listen to the classes from one lecture to another, at the end of each lecture I must exit back to the album and FIND the next lecture. They appear to be sorted in no obvious order (not alphabetical, not by name, not by track number). Again, they are set to sort by track number in iTunes and they display (and play) perfectly straight through in iTunes. But on my iPod, the sort order is completely messed up.
    So, what's going on? Why? And how can I fix it??

    Vague789 wrote:
    Set your track numbers correctly (by right clicking, clinking 'Get Info' and clicking on the info tab), and make sure you also set the totals (e.g. 12 of 18 - the "of 18" is what I mean by the totals). This sorted it out on my iPod.
    This worked for me for my Teaching Company files. They were all jumbled previously because they took the track numbers from the default import from the internet. Once I changed it, no problem.
    It would be better if Apple allowed just a dragging, or if there was a quick tool, but at least this works.
    I had previously been using "Join Together" for stuff like this. I think I like this method better, though. I can still keep the individual lecture files on a playlist, but not have to worry about all the separate titles in a general listing.

  • Sort order issue in with Evaluate function ( Next Quarter measure)

    Hi All,
    I have report requirement where I have to show measures for a particular geography for previous, current and next quarters in a pivotal view.
    ---------------Previous Quarter| Current Quarter|     Next Quarter
    Geography
    ABC|xx|xx|xx
    PQR|xx|xx|xx
    XYZ|xx|xx|xx
    Next quarter values are displayed for other geography like
    ABC value is shown for XYZ and XYZ value is shown for PQR
    I have derived measure for pervious quarter using Time Series Function > Ago function,
    However the problem is with next quarter. I used following Evaluate Function to derive measure for next quarter.
    EVALUATE ('LEAD(%1,1) over (order by %2)' AS DOUBLE PRECISION , X, Y)
    Here X = Measure and Y = Level (Quarter)
    X is delta of two other measures A and B.
    X = (A- B)
    Thanks,
    SMA

    Hi user10300020,
    That's a fairly common problem with months that happens regardless of database source.
    In the logical layer of OBIEE you can specify the sort order on the month name column. Just double click on the month name column and look for the option to set sort order based on a different column. I typically sort the month name based on the month number.
    Give that a shot and tell me if it works.

  • Sort Order issue when exporting from DRM

    The sort order hierarchy (Parent/Child) in DRM is correct, and appears in the right order. When the hierarchy gets exported, some of the nodes are out of order in HFM.
    There are shared nodes in the hierarchy. There is a Custom Sort order that is set correctly for the hierarchy in DRM.There is also a Query that was created to export nodes that does not contain the word Shared.
    Ex
    DRM
    Parent 1
    Child 2700
    Child 2701
    Appears in HFM
    Parent 1
    Child 2701
    Child 2700
    The sort order is not correct in Smartview. Why would the nodes show correctly in DRM, but export out of order, and not show correctly in HFM?
    Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated.

    Can you evaluate the DRM export results with the Hiearchy structure, also make sure the Default Hierarchy Sort on the Hierarchy has a value assigned to it, whether it is core or custom based on node ID, DRM should export nodes as they appear in DRM.

  • Project Server 2010 TimeSheet line classification sorting order- Issue

    Hi,
    We have PS 2010 SP-2 environment , and having few time sheet custom line classifications in order to sort them I have prefixed my custom time-sheet line with numbers like 100, 110, 115 and it is perfectly sorted in Line Classification settings under server
    settings, please see below.
    But strangely when a user creates time sheet and click insert new row then "Add an existing task" modal dialogue box shows "Standard" OOTB line classifcation on top and all custom line classifications underneath it.
    Please check below
    Don't know why it is not considering sorting order defined under "Line Classifications" settings. Same configuartion used to  work fine in PS-2007. But dont know why its not working in 2010.
    May be some silly configuration I am missing or something serious here, seriously not able to make out why this is happening.
    Please let me know, Thanks much !!!
    Sachin Vashishth MCTS

    Hey Thanks Guillaume,
    That's what I want to confirm in context of 2010. Because same configuration used to work in our 2007 environment. So want to confirm its default behavior or I have missed something in configuration.
    Any other idea do you have, like putting some java-script code in modal dialogue box to get this sorting done or any other customization.
    As of now considering "javascript" but need some pointers to get start working on this.
    Thanks much !!!

  • Sort Order of Lookup Column

    I have a list with look-up columns.
    In particular, 'Market' is a look-up column, pulling the 'Title' column from a document library.
    The issue I have is that the 'Market' look-up column contents are not listed in alphabetical order when selecting the menu to sort/filter, however, they are in alphabetical order
    in the library they are being pulled from....
    What controls the sort behavior of look-up column contents?
    UPDATE: I have discovered that, by grouping the View by any column, the error disappears. Although this might be a work-around and provide context to an eventual solution, this is not a solution.
    UPDATE 2: The key seems to be multi-value columns OR System Column (TYPE), require grouping to display sort order correctly.
    Filtering by the type column (Type = xls ~ 7 items) does
    NOT resolve the issue
    Filtering by the type column (Type = xls ~ 7 items)
    AND Grouping by
    single-value lookup column (Year = 2012 ~4 items) does resolve the issue.
    Filtering by a single-value lookup column  (Year = 2012 ~ 1001 items) does resolve the issue
    Filtering by a multi-value lookup column (Sector = Residential ~ 418 items) does
    NOT resolve the issue
    Filtering by a multi-value lookup column (Sector = Residential ~ 418 items)
    AND Grouping by
    single-value lookup column (Year = 2010 ~96 items) does resolve the issue.
    - Rick

    Here is a way that worked for me.  I had a lookup column from a list to a document library.  When I opened the form up it sorted by title.  I created a new Data Connection in Infopath editing the list.  When I created the Data connection
    it gave me options which fields in the data connection and the ability to sort based on a field.  I then just pointed my drop down list to point to the new data connection.  This worked on ipad as well as IE9.  No code required and my google
    searching did not find this simple solution so putting here.

  • Playlists lose sort order when burning to CD

    I have several MP3 tracks I need to burn to MP3 CD, and they need to appear in order. I've tagged the MP3 files using XLD (track name/number, etc). I followed the Apple Support Guidelines for burning playlists with a particular sort order. I've tried all 3 methods, including manually dragging the files into the correct order and right-clicking/choosing "Copy to Play Order". The playlist appears in the correct order, however when I go ahead and burn the CD, the contents of the disc appear out of iTunes, regardless of what I do. I've looked all over Google and found people with similar issues to mine but, as of yet, no workable solution.

    Has anyone been able to solve this maddening problem? I can't understand why iTunes doesn't sort the disc in alphabetical ascending order. The MP3 files are all tagged sequentially, starting with track number – so why does track 5 appear first in the playlist order? My only other alternative to burning with iTunes is to use Toast, which produces MP3 CDs that don't mount in iTunes. A quick search of the forums proves I'm not the only person having these problems.

  • Site Index Tree (SIP) portlet / sort order of entries

    How can I change the (alphabetical) sort order in the site index portlet to something else?
    Thanks,
    Frank

    Unfortunatelly, it does not work.
    What happens instead?
    Let's check some background information:
    What version of Frame, on what operating system ?
    (there's some chance of Unicode issues here)
    This document is a book ?
    The body files of this book were created in the same version of Frame you are using to update it ?
    This book has an separate index file xyzzyIX.fm ?
    This file is generated (book menu, Edit > Update Book) ?
    The content and formatting of this index is correct other than sort order ?

    This error only occurs when using a warehouse with bin locations. For regular warehouses it works when leaving the <DocumentLinesBinAllocations> away.
    What could cause this issue? Just for clarfying: UOMEntry Nr. 2 means that the sales unit contains 5kg of a product.
    I would greatly appreciate any help.

    Hi Pablo,
    based on the code from the other thread it should be like that for the first row:
    delivery.Lines.ItemCode = "ID200";
    delivery.Lines.Quantity = 15;
    delivery.Lines.BinAllocations.BinAbsEntry = 3107; // guessed AbsEntry
    delivery.Lines.BinAllocations.Quantity = 10;
    delivery.Lines.BinAllocations.SerialAndBatchNumbersBaseLine = 0;
    delivery.Lines.BinAllocations.Add();
    delivery.Lines.BinAllocations.BinAbsEntry = 3108;
    delivery.Lines.BinAllocations.Quantity = 5;
    delivery.Lines.BinAllocations.SerialAndBatchNumbersBaseLine = 1;
    delivery.Lines.BatchNumbers.Location = "02-A";
    delivery.Lines.BatchNumbers.BatchNumber = "XY";
    delivery.Lines.BatchNumbers.Quantity = 10;
    delivery.Lines.BatchNumbers.Add();
    delivery.Lines.BatchNumbers.Location = "02-B";
    delivery.Lines.BatchNumbers.BatchNumber = "YY";
    delivery.Lines.BatchNumbers.Quantity = 5;
    You got now :
    1 Delivery Row, Quantity 15
    2 BinLoc Rows, Quantity 10+5
    2 Batch Rows, Quantity 10+5
