SP324081: Check that your Internet Explorer security settings will allow JavaScript and cookies. If enabled, please contact support.

Hi,
I have VS2013 update 4 and IE11 installed. When I try to sign in through VS I get the following error.
SP324081: Check that your Internet Explorer security settings will allow JavaScript and cookies. If enabled, please contact support.
I have checked and JAVASCRIPT and cookies are enabled.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi Sath12,
If possible, I suggest you reset IE settings.
Please lower the security level. Then I added the site like https://*.visualstudio.com/ to the trusted zones. Test it again.
I have met this issue before which was related to the IE settings or the account issue.

A connect report still shared some information about it:

To get the best possible experience using our website we recommend that you upgrade to a newer version or other web browser. A list of the most popular web browsers can be found below"

It's probably giving you that warning because your Firefox is very out of date. Please read [http://www.getfirefox.com www.getfirefox.com] to see how to update to the latest version of Firefox (14.0.1 right now)

  • Internet Explorer Security Settings for Previewing in Developer

    Hello Marc,
I just 2 weeks new to UPK. I just switched over to a new laptop and now when I try to preview UPK in try it mode (local install), I receive an error message that says PREVIEW CANNOT OPEN "preview requires intranet settings to be enabled. These settings are located on the security tab in the Internet Settings of Internet Explorer." I current use IE 7.0. Can you advise which settings need to be changed?

    Hello,
For See It! and Try It! mode preview you will need to do the following:
Tools > Internet Options > Security (tab) > Local Intranet (icon) > Sites. Check all of the boxes. “Automatically detect intranet network” must be unchecked for the other buttons to be available. Once you check everything, you can re-check “Automatically detect intranet network”.
For Do It! mode preview you will need to do the following:
Tools > Internet Options > Security (tab) > Local Intranet (icon) > Custom level... Scroll down until you see the option for "Allow script-initiated windows without size or position constraints" (a little more than halfway down) and set this option to Enable.
This should allow you to properly preview these modes in the UPK Developer.
    Best regards,
    Marc

  • Internet Explorer Security Settings

    Hello,
We are using IE security related Group policies in our environment. We have a site where users are unable to download html pages from all of the websites. We have already tried adding these websites to the Trusted zones. However, the issue still persists.
Users get an error bar on the top of IE page. The error states "An add-on for this website failed to run. Check the security settings in Internet Options for potential conflicts". We have a different OU where this GPO is not applied and we do not
    face this issue there.
Can anyone suggest what specific setting do i need to look for in gpresult from working and non-working computer. Please find the error screenshot attached.

    Hi,
My guess would be you need to update your Adobe and shockwave flash...
    on a workstation go
Start>Control Panel>Flash 32, click the links to check for updates.
    or from IE
Tools>Manage Addons>Show All Addons... located it in the list to see its version... you should have both 32bit and 64 bit versions installed.
If possible please provide the address of any website you are having problems with your questions. That way we can visit the site and see what plugins the site requires to work as designed.
    Regards.

  • Internet Explorer 11 doesn't allow downloads and intermittantly crashes when I try.

    Hello,
I have Windows 7, 32 bit on a Dell laptop with 4Gb of RAM.  I've been primarily an IE user all along but I am now using Chrome and Firefox due to problems with IE 10 and 11.  Around the first of the year IE stopped letting me download anything
and sometimes crashes after the download bar says "filename could not be downloaded".  I have googled my fingers off and tried every remedy suggested, up to and including booting in safe mode with networking and running IE with no add-ons.
My only assumption is that one of the MS updates is the underlying cause as I haven't made any hardware or software changes.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.  Below is the text of one of the crashes from the technical details of the

    Hi Mikem,
This is typically due to incompatible add-ons or toolbars or an incompatible display adapter. Internet Explorer uses the graphics chipset for hardware acceleration and these issues might happen due to an older and/or incompatible driver.
Since you mentioned that you have tested under safe mode with no add-ons mode, we wonder if the problem still persists under safe mode. And when Internet Explorer not crash, did you get any message, error or the download just prompt won’t popup.
We suggest you remove all third party add-ons and temporarily stop Anti-Spyware, update your display driver then reset Internet Explorer Settings for good measure.
If resetting IE or removing Add-ons does not resolve the issue for you then it could be a compatibility issue with the Graphics card.
Under Internet Options, click the advanced tab. Under 'Accelerated Graphics', click on the checkbox next to 'Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering*'. Ensuring that it is checked, click on OK. Close Internet options.

This sounds like a virus or malware program that has made its way onto your computer.  I would ensure you have the latest virus definitions on your computer and run a thorough (complete) scan of your system.  If this doesn't work, I would suggest  you use Microsoft's Malware Removal Tool.  You can download it at the link below.   Hope this helps.

  • Your Account is no longer synchronized with your device. Check that your account settings are correct. If they are correct, contact your email service provider.

    Hey everyone,
I have a Blackberry Q10 with T-Mobile and have had the following error message appear over the weekend:
Your Account is no longer synchronized with your device. Check that your account settings are correct. If they are correct, contact your email service provider.
My Blackberry is trying to connect to Office 365 for its e-mail. I tried to remove the account, then re-add it, but the e-mails seem to not come in as quickly as it should. I have also tried the Delete Prior and Mark Prior message options, but still no luck.
Does anyone have a solution for this issue? Does it have to do more with Office 365 or the BES server?
    Many thanks in advance.

Have had issues with z10 but try the following: -turn wifi off when activating Active Sync -do not use a double quote character in your password email account -try using Outlook account option in drop down list of email account types in your z10. Works great. Hope one these helps. BlackZ10

  • Windows failed to apply the Internet Explorer Zonemapping settings - the data was invald (event ID: 1085)

    Hi All,
I have a large domain and a long list of websites that are trusted using the following group policy setting:
Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Internet Explorer> Internet Control Panel > Security Page >
    Site to Zone Assignment List
On all (XP/vista/win7) workstations across the domain I'm getting the following error:
    Log Name:  System
    Source:  Microsoft-Windows-GroupPolicy
    Event ID: 1085
    Task Category: None
    Level: Warning
Keywords:   Description: Windows failed to apply the Internet Explorer Zonemapping settings. Internet Explorer Zonemapping settings might have its own log file.
There's nothing either side of this error in the log that shines any more light on the issue.
I know which group policy object its applying these settings but cant find which of the entries in the site to zone assignment list is causing this issue. I looked in the
Group Policy/Operational log but all I see is the following entry which says "completed" but is logged as an error:
After some research I'm guessing that the issue is an incorrect wild-card. This is what my trusted sites list looks like (with names removed of course):
    http://servername.*
    *.internaldomain.com.au
    *.domain.com.au
    *.domain.*
    *.externaldomain.com
    *.domain.inernaldomain.com.au
    *.domain.*
    *.domain/name.*
    *.domain.inernaldomain.au*
    *.domain.com
Is there something obviously incorrect here?
Does anyone know where I could find an article that clearly outlines the acceptable wildcard syntax for the
"Security page\ site to zone assignment list" group policy?  Ive read every forum post, website and blog I could find on the internet but nothing is clear and I wasn't able to find an MS document that steps it out. I've also changed the
existing list a number of times based on blog posts etc but had no luck.
    **Please Note**
I dont want to change to a different method or have an intellectual debate re why I would have these sites/wildacrd/policy set. I'm really looking to see what entry is invalid and where the documentation is for this policy setting so i can make sure they are
    always correct in the future.
thanks in advance for your time and assistance
    Simone
PS: I've already read the following posts a number of times:

    UPDATE:
I disabled the original policy and created a new one with only one trusted site address in it. Then I logged into a clean test machine did some testing. What I found after a few hours of testing was; regardless of the site that I have listed in group policy
The HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Current version\Internet Settings\Zone Map Key registry entry is
always updated with that entry on the workstation. So the workstation's registry always updates the key with
*.sitename.com per the site that I have set in GP
If I run GPUPDATE /FORCE over and over again, on the same machine, under the same user account, using the same DC I get:
Failure, Failure, Failure, Success, Success, Success, Failure etc
I wasn't able to determine any pattern to the failures, I tried stopping some of the processes on that machine but didn't find anything that would make it fail/succeed reliably.
There is no AV or firewalls installed on my test machine
Anyone have any more ideas?  I think I might install filemon and try to capture some more data unless there's a better tool?

Yes, and that's straight from my Microsoft TAM. As long as you include an asterisk inside those site-to-zone mappings, you'll continue to see them. The key is whether or not they're working. In my environment, I've seen complete success using the
    http://*.domain.com, or
https://*.domain.com, no matter if the site is http://www.domain.com or
http://milk.does.a.body.good.domain.com. Despite the success, we continue to see the errors. It's much the same as Group Policy Preferences where you can apply a setting once, or repeatedly. If you apply
something repeatedly and it's already set, lookout for some complaints in the application log. It really is annoying. There's potential to play with the logging levels, but I'll admit that my experience ranks as "novice" in this specific section of group policy.
This link might get the creative juices flowing:
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/askds/archive/2008/07/18/enabling-group-policy-preferences-debug-logging-using-the-rsat.aspx
I see you've already read a number of articles including "a test case for troubleshooting those event IDs"... I sympathize with your efforts. I despise warnings and errors that I can't solve or don't want to see, but I've researched a number of them to death
and found that many are simply "normal". Uggg... I hope this helps, but please take my advice, as with anyone else's out here, with caution. I've seen some crazy recommendations. I saw a recommendation to install SQL on a DHCP server to get failover clustering
up and running. I hope the guy asking for help didn't listen to that one! : ) - josh

  • Does Resetting Internet Explorer Maintenance settings from GPO will also remove the proxy set in IE by a third party tool when the GPO refreshes for the first time

    Hi,
We have two GPO's with IE maintenance (Preference Mode Configured)
    The settings it has are
    1. Automatically detect configuration settings - Set to Enabled.
    2. Automatic Browser configuration - Not configured.
We do not have proxy value set in IE through this GPO.
We have proxy set in IE through a third party tool (TPT) which updates the proxy at logon event 5 and 10.
Does Resetting Internet Explorer Maintenance settings from these GPO's also clear proxy set in IE by third party tool after the first GPO refresh.
I am sure the second time when the GP refreshes, the client won't find any IEM settings and hence there is no question of the proxy set in IE by TPT to erase. It is only the first time of the GPO refresh that I am concerned about.
Can someone please guide as I am planning to do the same in our production and concerned about the downtime caused due to the proxy being removed if at all for the first time.

It will disable the proxy server option in Internet Options (untick the box), but will still store your proxy details.
    Thanks
    Ryan

  • Internet explore security popups

Hi i am having trouble with popups from internet explorer security saying a websight wants to open web content using this program on your computer, Adobe Flash Player. I already have Adobe Flash Player. no matter what i do it keeps popping up. i click don't allow it goes away for a second then pops up again over and over when i try to go to another page can you please help me. it is very frustrating

If the pages contain Flash Content, this is normal unless you have your Flash Player set to allow storage. See :http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/help02.html for more info.
If however, you see this when visiting pages that DO NOT have Flash content (regular HTML pages), you're infected with "Adware" which is using Flash Player to attempt to bombard you with ads.
You need to run a thorough virus scan and I'd recommend downloading and running TDSSKiller from Kaspersky as well.

  • Why does it keep telling me that my security settings will not let the Adobe Reader download when I have them turned off?

I try to update the Adobe Reader and it will not let me.  I have turned the Norton Security off and it still tells me that my security settings will not allow it to download.  What can I do?

There's a little box that comes up on my computer after I try to update the Adobe Reader.  It says:  "Your current security settings will not allow this to download".  So I went into my Norton Security and disabled the antivirus program.  I don't even know if that was the "settings" that the message on my computer was meaning.  But what has happened is when I try to use the Adobe Reader XI that is on my computer, a little box comes up on my screen that says "Your current security settings do not allow this file to be downloaded" and I'm unable to get Adobe to work.

    Hi la recruiter,
There are a few types of files that Acrobat can't convert--and PDF files with security applied is one on them. I'm happy to cancel your subscription, if you decide that it's not going to work out for you. Please confirm that you'd like me to proceed with the cancelation, and I'll take care of it right away.

  • Internet Explorer security message blocks my vrml from playing

I created a simple flash interactive saved as an exe file. I
created a button with a “get url” script to launch a
quicktime vrml, it launches internet explorer and a security
message about active content appears, which blocks the vrml from
playing. Is there anyway the vrml can open without getting the
    internet explorer security message?

    Hi,
My immediate reaction is don't panic! If you are testing your
own page from your own local server then there is nothing to worry
about. The whole issue of Active X controls is another sore point
when having to deal with Microsoft's handling of interactive
    content.
Triggering of the warning can be caused by various things
other than the obvious contact with dynamic content. Here is an old
thread from a discussion on why Active X warning appear on your own
    pages.
    http://www.dreamincode.net/forums/showtopic16624.htm
Googling will find more evidence for you to trace. Your code
looks fine to me and is not a threat to your system if it came off
    of your own local server.
Active X is a pain in the butt.
