Sp6 - unable to start weblogic server
hi,
I have weblogic 5.1 running in solaris 2.6 & service pack 3. Weblogic is
fine
with these environment settings. I tried to install Service pack 6. I
included
weblogicsp6.jar & weblogicsp6boot.jar instead of weblogicsp3.jar &
weblogicsp3boot.jar.
Now i am unable to start the weblogic server.
error while starting the server is :-
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
weblogic/common/T3ServicesFinderDef
at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass0(Native Method) .....
I checked my startup script, its fine with weblogicsp6boot.jar, the
first entry
in the java classpath & weblogicsp6.jar, the first entry in
-Dweblogic.class.path.
anyone has the answer? is there any issue in servicepack 6.
regards
Arun.

This is almost always a result of not installing the service pack correctly.
You should check the documentation on the service pack to doublecheck that
you have the correct settings.

Unable to start weblogic server using another user of same machine
Hi,
I have installed weblogic using my credentials.I am able to start it properly with my credentials.
I am getting error while starting weblogic server from another user of same machine having same admin rights.
It shows following details while starting server and process stops:

enable this change, specify -Dweblogic.security.allowCryptoJDefaultPRNG=true>
Please advice.
Thanks and Regards:
PriyaCan you check the server log file for more details. The server log file is located in the <domain-home>/servers/<server-name>/logs directory.
There probably something wrong with the log rotation or something similar. Usually when certain files that are created during runtime belong
to a certain user, other users do not have rights or they must belong to the same group.
Also note that the messages are only info messages and are not really the cause. -
Unable to start weblogic server from workshop
I am able to start weblogic through command window. when i try to start via workshop,Nothing happens but weblogic server progress bar says ( starting weblogic server). Please advise.
Hello,
Table 'slee_db.beaxacmlap' doesn't exist 1. Check the permissions of the user that connects to the database. Can it create tables in this specified schema? If not update your JDBC configuration via the WLS Admin Console or update the permissions on database side.
2. Does the table exist? If not, the easiest is to start the domain in development mode once so that the tables are created automatically. When this is done, you can switch back to production mode if you run this setting. The production mode can be enabled / disabled in config.xl via the domain configuration section of the WLS Admin console or via startWeblogic.sh by setting a environment called PRODUCTION_MODE=true|false.
3. Be aware that there is another forum as well for your product that you can access via support.oracle.com and than click to "community". The right forum for OCSG is 'Communications Industry->Service Delivery Platform' You can subscribe to it via RSS feed as well.

Unable to start weblogic server back end in linux
Hi All,
i am going to start weblogic 10.3.6 in production environment by using below commend but it gives error:
>cd /usr/app/oracle/Middleware/user_projects/domains/base_domain
>nohup startWebLogic.sh &
But when I use this command I am getting this output:
-bash-3.2$ nohup ./startWebLogic.sh &
-bash-3.2$ nohup: appending output to `nohup.out'
Can someone please help me in this.
Thank you,
RamHi Ram,
That it's the normal behavior when you use a nohup command, all the output is getting saved into a nohup.out file that you can find in the same location where the startWeblogic.sh file resides..
If you do:
tail -f nohup.out
You will find all the output.
Also if you want to see the last 200 output lines do:
tail -fn 200 nohup.out
The advantage of using nohup is that if you are using a ssh client you can close the client and the process will keep running.
Hope this helps

Hi
I forgot to add in my prevoius msg that I am able to start the weblogic
server
from the cmd propt with out any error. The problem is only when I try
to start
it as a windows service .
Thanks
babu
Have you resolved this yet?
I had the same problem, and read that if I add the
"-password <password>" argument to the "beasvc.exe" command
in the "intallNtService.cmd" script, the problem was resolved.
To do this, you will have to use the "uninstallNtServer.cmd"
script to uninstall the service, edit the install script to
add the "-password <password>" argument to the beasvc.exe
command, then run the "installNtService.cmd" script to install
the service.
For me, it now works.
Good luck. -

"Hope I'll get a solution soon"You probably run the WebLogic once as the super user and are now trying to run it as another.
you could issue a chown or chmod -R 777
Also a remark that provided here: Opening of wallet based credential store failed. Reason java.io.IOException
"It appears the my config/fmwconfig/cwallet.sso file was corrupted, possibly by a previous WebLogic crash. The cwallet.sso file in my fmwconfig directory was only 77bytes, but it should have been larger. I was able to find a previous version of the cwallet.sso file in the /tmp/cred* directories, and restored the file. That allowed me to start up WebLogic, but I had lost some data in cwallet.sso that I needed to re-enter in FMW Control." -

Unable to start Admin Server as a windows service
I installed Admin Server as a windows service and when I started it, I got the below errors. Do you have any ideas?
I'm using SOA Suite 11.1.1.2.0 and WL 10.3.2 on Windows
Thanks,

If you see your logs, you server has actually started in "RUNNING" mode. Its only throwing lot of "ClassNotFoundException" because I guess they classes are not available in classpaths. If you know the "jar" which contains which are being complained, copy the jar files to "DOMAIN_HOME/lib" which is simple way to add jars to classpath.

Error WSM-02120 when starting Weblogic Server
Hi All,
I have problem while starting weblogic server, I found this error:
WSM-02120 : Unable to
oracle.wsm.policymanager.
PolicyManagerException: WSM-02120 : Unable to
connect to the Oracle WSM Policy Manager due to the following error
"javax.naming.CommunicationEx
ception [Root exception is java.net.ConnectException:
t3://b00wps01:8889,b00wps01:8888: Destination unreachable; nested
exception is:
java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused; No available router
to destination]".
at
oracle.wsm.policymanager.BeanFactory.getInitialContext(BeanFactory.java:619)
at
oracle.wsm.policymanager.BeanFactory.getJndiObj(BeanFactory.java:648)
I have followed this instruction (OWSM Error Message: WSM-02120 ... Connection refused; No available router to destination (Doc ID 1569900.1) from oracle support, and unfortunately it didn't work.
Anyone can help me to solve this issue?Hi there,
Can you check the JDK version and see the compatible with your weblogic installation ?
You can refer the certification matrix from Oracle to check the compatible version of JDK. Here you go - Oracle Fusion Middleware 12c (12.1.3.0.0) Certification Matrix.
Most probably, this issue will occur when JDK is not compatible with weblogic installation..

MuraliYou're getting that probably because the WL instance was not shut down properly.
If that's the case, you'll need to remove an ldap lock file (with a .lok extension) in the directory of ldap files (under the server dir) . -
