SPA 303 and some kind of Click to Call?

I recently purchased the a single SPA 303 configured to an anveo.com acount - no thrills just one line easy setup for my home office.
I was trying to find some kind of solution so I could click on a phone number on the web and it would automatically dial out from my SPA 303.
Hopefully there's just some program I can install on my computer that can communicate with the SPA 303 without the need for a server.
I saw some stuff regarding CUCME but that seems like an overkill for what I'm trying to do. Also saw some stuff like Call Ctrl which has vanished from the internet (company went bust?).
some users on dslreports forums recommended a script which performs something akin to anveo web call, which places the call to the destination and then to my SPA phone - but frankly that's not what I want.
Thanks in advance!

sorry the site's Ui was really laggy that day
I found this cool chrome extension called Cisco Dialer.
It works wonderfully with a simple setup (just put in the phone's IP address) hover over a gmail contact's number and a little phone pops up on the right hand side - click it and it automatically dials it through your cisco phone. I just wish this extension was chrome wide, not just for gmail contacts.

  • SPA 30x and 50x - show miss state when call was pickup

    Hello
do you know, how to show on display miss state (softkey miss) when call was pickup in pickup group.
My IP phone is SPA 303 and 502, and 922 but SPA 922 is showing miss state well.
    Server is Asteriks.
    Marek

Call completed elsewhere has not been missed, so SPA922 is on the wrong side ...
If the line is declared as shared AND call is CANCELed with
    Reason: SIP;cause=200;text="Call completed elsewhere"
then no missed call is logged.
I'm not sure if you can configure Asterisk not to use this Reason in such particular case. If I remember correctly, there is and option of Dial() Application for it ...
Of course, unless you have User->Supplementary Services->Log Missed Calls for extension in question set to "Yes" no missed calls are logged at all.

In the attachment a picture where is possible to see these blu numbers, i've made a red circle around them.

  • Add an in-line notes panel and some kind of notification.

It would improve our workflow if my designer could see In-line notes as they are added to the document, and get some sort of pop-up notification when a new in-line note is added.  Our current process is to have the designer search through the document periodically and is in-efficient.  We used a plug-in for CS4 that was provided by a vendor, but they have not updated for CS5 yet.

  • My iPad built in speakers was making some kind of static clicking noise, should i be worried?

I was on my iPad (iPad 4th Generation) when I started hearing some kind of clicking sound like the sound you hear when someone touches you with static electricity, this happened every time I touched the screen to type. it also happened when I played and paused music (only clicked once for playing and pausing music). Also when I played music it sounded like only the left side of the speaker was playing the music therefore there was no right side of the music, basically it wasn't playing the song in stereo and I could only hear one side of the song. However it stopped when I fiddled with the side volume buttons, now it hasnt happned again, but I'm still worried.

Intermittent power problems are usually a sign of something about to go wrong. Get your machine in to a Genius Bar (or other Authorized Apple Service Provider) to have it checked out. In the meantime go to Disk Utility and check the SMART status. It might tell you that nothing is wrong but it can't hurt to look. A logic board issue could be looming for you. The loud (screeching)  noise usually signals a HD problem. On-again / off-again behavior is not uncommon when something is on its way to dysfunction.

  • Skype Click to Call for Firefox 7 Installation Nig...

    All info as of Oct.08.
    Hi Guys:
I would like to start by telling you that I'm newbie to this community as not a Skype fan user and haven't used the application since its June version 5.3. I didn't upgrade my Firefox browser on its due time either as rather use Internet Explorer most of the time. All these three are installed on a Windows XP Home SP3 system.
Due to some IE7 settings misconfiguration early this week, I decided to use FF6 again while restoring IE to defaults, which means that plugins and toolbars are disabled or uninstalled in the process. After reinstalation and updating Adobe Flash, Java, etc.. noticed that the Skype Toolbar was definetively lost (uninstalled) to IE.
FF Add-ons Manager was showing the Skype Plugin (still version 5.3) as disabled, not compatible and with no updates available. I then proceeded to upgrade FF to NB7 recently released 27-09, and then applied latest update 7.0.1 released 29-09, but no change to the Skype Plugin upon clicking on update all add-ons and plugins.
BTW, release notes for this FF update 7.0.1 states: "Fixed a rare issue where some users could find one or more of their add-ons hidden after a Firefox update"... making me more confused and to look deeper into FF support, but with no success. I also tried FF Add-on Compatibility Reporter to no avail.
Therefore, it was time to go to Skype and as I usually first learn about latest changes, opened on (blogs.skype.com/garage/windows/) first, to find that there were two releases (an update to V5.5.119 (which I did) and an upgrade to a new build 5.6) on the same date (29-09) of FF's update to fix "hidden add-ons" - what a coincidence to add confusion -.
In both versions' release notes you can read that changes include: "Updated Skype Click to Call browser plugins and the addition of support for Firefox 7"... but no further explanation. Sorry guys but it was at that moment when I learned about that "Click to Call" name (formerly known as Skype Web Toolbars) which totally different from what I was searching for, making me do some more clicks to search and understand the difference between the installers provided.
I believe (and suggest) that if in that blogpost 29-09 in respect of the 5.5 update, the poster (Raul Liive) would have included a link to the Click to Call support page, it would have been a lot more easier for Firefox users to update their Skype installation, even though, it is not true that Click to Call "is automatically installed in Mozilla Firefox" as suggested in that support page. It only installs in Internet Explorer. In order to also install it in Firefox and/or Chrome, you must download its installer from that page.
At least this was my experience which could be taken as a quick reference - Installation Troubleshooting Guide (Provided "AS IS" and subject to Mods' approval):
    - Opened Skype 5.3 and clicked on the Updater to get version 5.5.119 installed.
    - Opened IE7 and verified that new Click to Call 5.6.0.8312 was present in my toolbar.
    - Opened FF7 and verified that old Skype Plugin 5.3 did not changed. Tried to update it again from within the application with no results.
    - Opened Control Panel > Add or remove programs, and verified Skype 5.5.119 correctly shown, but Click to Call was not. There it was still showing "Skype Toolbars 5.3.7280".
    - Closed all applications and proceded to remove Skype Toolbars from Control Panel.
    - Restarted the system and opened CP, IE and FF to verify Skype Toolbars successfully removed.
    - Optionally - ran CCleaner.
    - Downloaded Click to Call Installer and ran it to install it in both, IE and FF, which done   successfully.
    - Opened CP to verify it was then showed correctly as "Skype Click to Call 5.6.0.8312".
    - Opened FF to verify it now shows the plugin correctly as above with no imcompatibility
warnings. Made a test call successfully. Did same from IE.
*Notice: Please note that there is actually only one Click to Call installer (v5.6.0.8312) available at Skype.com, no matter what Skype (supported) version or browser (support for IE, FF and/or Chrome only) you are using. Also notice that when you open your browser for the first time after installing CtoC, a new Skype advertising tag will be opened... Don't worry, it will do it just once. A second advertising window will be opened after your Skype app opens when you make a call from your browser... at least it happened on my first test call and don't know if same for further calls (free account).
Sorry guys - long story - but hope this to be of any assistance to the community.
    Cheers,
    RickCP

Would also add that after doing the above troubleshooting you find any problem with your Click to Call feature just installed, or simply need to install or activate the plugin to another browser (one of the 3 supported for Windows) you are also using, you can run your Click to Call Installer again to choose between the following options provided:
    Change:
Lets you change the way features are installed (and on what browser are to be installed).
    Repair:
Repairs errors in the most recent installation by fixing missing and corrupt files, shortcuts and registry entries.
    Remove:
Removes Click to Call from your computer.

  • Click to Call, prevents previous versions of Skype...

After accepting the prospect of installing click to call, instead of being helpful it just messes up the connection with the exisitng intallation of skype. Any thoughts other than deleting everything and stating again without the annoying click to call....grrrrr!

I'm having similar experiences. I just loaded norton 360 if that matters. Even with it turned off, Skype will not load or or install. A few days befor i downloaded Skype click to call , maybe accidentally w Real, but ti never worked, and it will not Uninstall from my Windows vista! error 7238, and i get a toolbar error when I try to install any version on Skype. I can uninstall any full version of Skype, but the Skype click to call has firmly embedded it self and i can't find it any where to delete it. It's really messed up Internet Explorer, and Mozilla, so that they won't function for Netzero and some other web addresses. Please suggest a way of finding and deleting this Skype click to call malware!

  • Click to call not highlighting all numbers all wit...

skype click to call does not recotnize all numbers for me. Specifically many US numbers do not get highlighted.
its very weird because they all use the same format. Anyone else have this issue? How can it be solved? I use skype click to call for work and it is very importatnt for me because it gives me that 5 second edge over other companies. But sometimes it lets me down when it just will not highlight some numbers. This is all from within the same website.

    It worked!

Bethany from Skype support just helped me resolve this. It was frustrating me to no end. I couldn't see it in either IE or Chrome.
We reinstalled Skype and re-downloaded the Click to Call app from the Skype web site. Then it worked in IE. However, Chrome was still a problem.
However, this is what got it fixed:
    1. We closed Chrome completely. INCLUDING using the Task Manager to kill ALL processes with Chrome or Chrome32 as their name. (We tried it previously just by closing Chrome with the normal "red X" process in Windows, and it didn't work, because there were still processes and extensions running in the background.)
    2. Once we killed the processes for Chrome with Task Manager, I got notification from some of them that the extensions had crashed (Roboform, TamperMonkey, Pinterest, and several other extensions). Then in Task Manager no processes for Chrome or Chrome32 were listed any longer.
    3. We uninstalled Chrome completely.
    4. We then went back to the Chrome site with IE (the #1 browser for downloading other browsers) and re-downloaded and re-installed Chrome.
    5. This time, when I first launched Chrome, it told me that the Skype Click to Call extension was being loaded, and asked me to Enable it. Once I enabled it, I refreshed all my screens in Chrome, and VOILA! The click to call feature worked just as it should.
TL;DR: Basically, you need to close Chrome and kill all the Chrome processes, uninstall Chrome, then reinstall Chrome and re-download the Click to Call app. (Seems like the last two steps can be done in any order.)
Thanks to Bethany with Skype for her excellent help in resolving this for me!!!

  • Click to call makes Internet Explorer crash

Since Messenger Live is going away soon, i reluctantly switched over to Skype and installed the optional Click to Call with it.  After doing this IE kept crashing and I eventually got a message saying the Click to Call was causing the problem and i should update to the latest version.  I tried updating and still had the problem so I uninstalled Click to Call.  Evidently something was left behind because I na now having problems on particular sites when I try to log in and I am not having this problem when logging in to the same sites from other systems.
Does anyone have any tips on how to get rid of this completely other than backing up to a previous check point?

  • Click-to-Call Bug

During the night, Skype have sent out a bug to every subscribers computer.
Every 30 seconds I get such an annoying a pop-up:
"The following plug-in unresponsive: Skype Click-to-Call.  Would you like to stop it?"
And when you select YES, it does NOTHING.  And WHY does this do NOTHING?
And YES, this pop-up appears when I have quit and logged-out of Skype altogether.
This IS a bug sent out deliberately by Skype.  I have NEVER had this until this morning.
I am going to remove Skype from my system altogether and go back to using www.vzochat.com
When I signed up for SKYPE, I did NOT sign up for my computer to be hacked by Skype webmasters to be under their control.
Moreover, why is there no contact details for Skype?  Because they want to remain a shady and unscrupulous outfit, perhaps?
This is yet more time I am having to spend on my PC doing things I dont intend doing, costing me time.
GET A GRIP, SKYPE, or we circulate this 'planted bug' on Facebook and elsewhere.

  • Click to call crashes my browsers

    Hi,
My work lends itself perfectly to using click-to-call to add great efficiencies to my day, but at least 10 times a day my browser freezes and eventually says that click-to-call has crashed.  This is an ongoing problem for several years.  I've uninstalled, reinstalled, made sure I'm on the latest version (with hopes that this is the one that solves the problem).  I've followed the support links in this community and tried all of the suggestions.  It happens on both explorer and chrome.  I've not used firefox but if someone says that's my solution then I'll try it.  Given the huge volume of similar complaints in 2013, it's a common problem.  I hope that skype is working on the resolution but if anyone has suggestions that have worked permanently for them please let me know.  I'm running a new pc with SSD's and windows 7 professional 64 bit.  EVERYTHING has been checked (once again) to ensure that the latest firmware and software is running.
thanks for any relief you may be able to provide.

    Hi, Trikev,
Thanks for your note!  For avoidance of doubt on my part, confirming you are running Chrome version 29?  My Win7 laptop is on v. 29.0.1547.62 m.  I had to separately enable C2C; the add-on did not start by itself.
