SPA509G admin 403 Forbidden!

I inherited a single SPA509G from a customer, trying to use it with Asterisk. SW Ver. 7.4.8.a, HW Ver. 1.0.3
I can access the web interface, but when I click "Admin Login" I get only a page "403 Forbidden!".
I've tried factory reset via the phone's menu, disabled/enabled web access, disabled DHCP and used static IP address. Set Transport Protocol to "tftp" and tried upgrading firmware (7.5.2b) from a Windows PC.
No success with either - still can't get past the "/admin" URL.
Any suggestion are greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Thomas

Thanks Dan - that explains it. Last question: Is there any way to find out who that operator might be - so I can get in touch with them? I have no idea how my customer got this phone and where it came from. The previous IT contractor is no longer available - even if he might have had that information at some point.
Thought: If the phone is trying to "call home" to check in with the provider, there might be some way to figure this out. If not - oh well - some time wasted, but nothing else

• Getting a "403 Forbidden" error when I login ..

Hi all ... Well yesterday I did a new installation of Oracle Express Edition 11g DB, which installed fine ... I then installed OC4J, and then finally installed APEX Listener 4.1 ...
Now, when I opened 127.0.0.1:8888/apex/listenerAdmin for the very first time .. I saw a page where I was to configure the connection .. At that point I was unable to get the 'Basic' connection working (I think the error was that the Listener was unable at connect to the database), and so I closed down that page ..
Now, one day later, when I open 127.0.0.1:8888/apex/listenerAdmin, I am asked for some login details ... I don't know what to put here to login .. In fact I have not successfully logged in here even once ..
However, some clues are as follows: Before installing APEX Listener, I defined some new roles and users from the OC4J web interface ... If I try logging in through any of these, I get the '403 Forbidden' error ... Otherwise, if I enter any other random login details, the same login box keeps popping up ..
So anyone know whats the problem here ? ... I suspect that no connect between APEX Listener and the Oracle DB is yet defined, which is why these problems are occuring ...
I tried 'undeploying' APEX listener from the OC4J web interface, and then again 'deploying' it, but the exact same thing is happening ..
Can anyone help me out here ?
EDIT:
I assume maybe I'm supposed to use the APEX_PUBLIC_USER account, which I configured in oracle before installing APEX (as per intructions in Oracle installation guides), but even when I try logging in through APEX_PUBLIC_USER, my login details are not accepted ... Also, I AM able to login into Oracle Database using APEX_PUBLIC_USER, but not in APEX Listener ... And since unlike what I described above, when I enter my APEX_PUBLIC_USER login details, the same login prompt keeps reappearing, meaning the login is not recognised at all ...

Hi,
Now, when I opened 127.0.0.1:8888/apex/listenerAdmin for the very first time .. I saw a page where I was to configure the connection .. At that point I was unable to get the 'Basic' connection working (I think the error was that the >Listener was unable at connect to the database), and so I closed down that page ..I think the page you actually opened was http://127.0.0.1:8888/apex/listenerConfigure . At least, this is the page for the initial configuration. You can call it again until you've configured the database successful for the first time.
Now, one day later, when I open 127.0.0.1:8888/apex/listenerAdmin, I am asked for some login details ... I don't know what to put here to login .. In fact I have not successfully logged in here even once ..The admin page needs the credentials you've configured on your OC4J.
However, some clues are as follows: Before installing APEX Listener, I defined some new roles and users from the OC4J web interface ... If I try logging in through any of these, I get the '403 Forbidden' error ...... which you seem to have done, but probably you've some typo in there. Please note that you have to use the exact role names as described in the installation manual. A common problem is that users don't care about case sensitivity... This would fit to the symptom: You have a correct username/password combination, so the basic authentication is done, but the user is not authorized to call listenerAdmin because he doesn't have the appropriate role.

• Sharepoint web application was unable and show error 403 forbidden and 503 server errors

Hi
i some times loose connection to sharepoint site where i am working with,i was just run some powershell scripts to update
a filed value in a document library only
and it some times show in browser 403 Forbidden error and some times 503 server error
when i check in event viewer i got this below errors
adil

That particular 'error' is OK. It just means that a non-Farm Admin service account doesn't have the rights to run that sproc. Normal with best practice security in mind.
You may want to check the IIS logs to see what the
subcode for the 403/503 errors are.

• Error 403--Forbidden- From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1

I am getting the following error
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
10.4.4 403 Forbidden
The server understood the request, but is refusing to fulfill it. Authorization will not help and the request SHOULD NOT be repeated. If the request method was not HEAD and the server wishes to make public why the request has not been fulfilled, it SHOULD describe the reason for the refusal in the entity. This status code is commonly used when the server does not wish to reveal exactly why the request has been refused, or when no other response is applicable.
It throws an error when I click on a button which in turn calls form authentication[edit.do] and it fails. LDAP server is configured for group- My Admin. We are using AMAgentFilter

• 403 Forbidden Error on Inbound Web Service Call

Hi XI Gurus.
We have been using an ID for a while now to login to the XI server to post SOAP messages to the adapter. For some unknown reason we now receive 403 Forbidden messages. The user has the exact same roles and authorizations as the corresponding user in another environment where this works fine. I know it's not related to any of the solutions posted here because using my ID works fine.
We have assigned the user SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER and S_RFC auth's for a few RFC groups that the interface will need to invoke. Again, this works perfectly in our other environment.
A few questions:
1) How can we see the error logs when this error gets thrown? J2EE Admin?
2) What would cause this? It doesn't seem to be authorizations at the XI level. Is it something at the J2EE level?

This might be a silly question but the user is not locked?
You can always create a trace in the Java Admin Console:
Traces are used to analyze runtime errors. By setting a specific trace level for specific locations, you can analyze the behavior of individual code segments at class and method level. This is done with the help of the log configurator service:
Log onto Java Admin Console
 Services
 Log Configurator
 Locations
 Choose the location (Java package) and the tracing level (severity)
(for example, com.sap.aii.adapter.rfc)
 Root Location > com > sap > aii > RFC
 Set the severity to Debug (or all) and choose Copy Severity to Subtree.
Run end to end process and check the log file in the standalone log viewer.

• /sap/hana/xs/sqlcc/ - 403 forbidden

/sap/hana/xs/sqlcc/ is blocked even for our SYSTEM user (403 forbidden), how do we gain access to it?

It just realized the URL you are using. You are using the older sqlcc application. That is why I thought you were on an older release. You should be using /sap/hana/xs/admin to maintain the sqlcc entries. You can refer to section 8.5 of the HANA Developers' Guide for more details. Although that said, I tested in my local system and the sqlcc app you are using works for me as well as the new admin tool. You might still have something wrong with the role setup, but I would certainly try the admin tool first before troubleshooting further.

• HTTP 403 forbidden message on deployed web page

Hi there,
Since the day i have deployed my web application I am not able to login to the web page.
I am getting error HTTP 403 Forbidden, have permission to view the webpage.
ideally it should have taken to login page and then asked for permission and so on...
What I have done so far?
1. Given all the roles to the said user.
2. Under security relams I have changes the password and tried to login again. But no help.
3. Ironically, there is no error generated under logs....strange !!
4. Check weblogic.xml and web.xml file to user mapping with the server and its role. All looks fine.
5. Downgraded IE from IE 9 to IE 8 in hope if that works fine or that could be the reason.
Screen shot of deployed web page is attached here;
Any clue or suggestion on such issue?
Any hep would be appreciated.
thanks,

Hi there,
1. Its Documaker 12.4, I am using IE 9 for Web Server. While using Chrome the page is getting blanked out, that is yet another issue.
2. Console, DocumakeAdministratorHelp,DocumakerDashboardHelp etc are working fine and loading correctly. Since beigning the Admin page is not working.
3. Seeing the premission error I tried to give all the roles to Administrator in Weblogic Security realms, wanted to see if that works but I do not think with DD Only Security any changed would have reflected in actual file. [Role - Documaker Administrator, User- documaker Pwd - JMS pwd]
I did tried to change password, to see if that works but it was not working even then. Still getting Forbidden error
Then I also tried adding servlet alias to the default URL and see if it takes mr to login page; (screen shot attached)
Why all other default page is working with the URL defined and DocumakerAdministrator not working?
I see in the URL that it is taking to ADF control page, can that be looked for permission?
Thanks,

Hi
Try this
note 517484
1) Activated all services
2) In Integration builder, receiver communication channel make sure you have entered proper
host service number
path = /sap/xi/enigne?type = receiver.
3)Go to SU01 > type PIISUSER and reset the user's pw
Check out this might be helpful
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/89/05793c05f0807be10000000a11405a/content.htm
1.Did you maintain Client, userid, password, and lang information in SICF transaction -> sap/xi/engine? Double click on service and check whether you have entered correct information.
2.Then you might check the roles of the XIISUSER in SU01. In some case there are some double roles, i.e., two times the role SAP_XI_IS_SERV_USER assigned. One might have the date of the last update, the other one might have apparently the older version. Delete the older roles manually and the error should disappear.
3.to send messages to xi you need a service id / pwd which is specific to your landscape usually its xiappluser. Contact your basis group for password.
4.
- Activated all services on the r3 system.
- Create HTTP connection to XI from r3
sm59-> http connetons to r3
- let us say you have created a HTTP connection in the integrationserver_XI, make sure in its settings the prefix path is set to /sap/xi/engine?type=entry. Also check its log on credentials, you can use xiappluser.
- IN Integration builder, receiver communication channel make sure you have entered proper
host service number
path = /sap/xi/enigne?type = receiver.
5. can you also try the following;
Visual Admin -> start the service,
"com.sap.aii.af.ms.app".
I don't know this Forum no fhats why i copied.
Thanks

• Apache: 403 Forbidden error when trying to change DocumentRoot

I am developing several websites, but I prefer to store them in a directory at the root of my hard drive (let's call it /Websites) rather than in ~/sites or /Library/WebServer/Documents. I want to be able to preview php files locally for testing purposes, but am having trouble figuring out how to give Apache access to them without temporarily moving them into ~/Sites and back every time. The Apache documentation suggests two ways which I may point to /Websites: 1) by changing DocumentRoot in httpd.conf, or 2) through symbolic links.
The problem is, either method results in a 403 forbidden error. I assured that permissions were set the same way as the files Apache can access (755 for directories, 664 for files) and tried changing ownership to root, admin... but it didn't work and I'd prefer not to have all of my site files owned by root as it makes editing difficult.
What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions?
I also tried adding the following to httpd.conf but it had no discernible effect.
<Directory "/Websites">
Options +Indexes FollowSymLinks +ExecCGI
AllowOverride AuthConfig FileInfo
Order allow,deny
Allow from all
</Directory>
Assuming it did work, would changing the "Allow from..." line to "Allow from 127.0.0.1" or "Allow from localhost" along with "deny from all" be the proper way to let me preview on the local machine without serving my test pages to the entire internet?

Did you change this to reflect new DocRoot?
# Note that from this point forward you must specifically allow
# particular features to be enabled - so if something's not working as
# you might expect, make sure that you have specifically enabled it

Thanks for your responses.
First thing is I cannot login to DTR in NWDS.
I am facing the error 403 forbidden.
I configured SLD. When I try to import DC from SLD without logging into DTR, I am facing the following error.
and the log is as follows:

• Error 403 - Forbidden (BEA 8.1)

I am trying to integrate a existing web application into BEA 8.1. In Workshop
I created an "empty" application using the portal server. In my application I
imported a project which was my existing web application. The application built
just fine and the server started with no problems. When I went to bring it up
in the browser however, I got the following error:
Error 403--Forbidden
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
10.4.4 403 Forbidden
The server understood the request, but is refusing to fulfill it. Authorization
will not help and the request SHOULD NOT be repeated. If the request method was
not HEAD and the server wishes to make public why the request has not been fulfilled,
it SHOULD describe the reason for the refusal in the entity. This status code
is commonly used when the server does not wish to reveal exactly why the request
has been refused, or when no other response is applicable.
Not sure why this is happening and nothing comes out in the log file.
Thoughts??
Thanks - Peter

The first thing that I would think is that you are only using a partial URL
to access the app, that is not including the entire path to the resource.
One thing you can do is to look at the app under the deployments folder in
the admin console. Select the web application and open the testing tab.
That will show the complete URL you should be using when hitting the web
app.
Hold this helps you

• Help me! 403: Forbidden by rule

I really want to play a movie from the internet and it requires Quicktime but I keep getting this error . . . 403: Forbidden by rule. Can anyone help me?

That error usually implies that the web site (either by URL or by IP) has been blocked somewhere. If you're on a company network, you'll want to take this up with your network admin; they may be blocking some sites (not uncommon for a company to do).
If you're on a private Internet account, post the URL and we can take a look and see if the problem appears to be on the web host end or is more likely to be with your system (perhaps an overly agressive firewall setting).
