Specific need: to generate a cylindrical projection NOT from a sphere, but from a flat image, like a person's face, etc., such that the cylindrical projection can be used to wrap a sphere (via other software such as the DX I use), where the face could be positioned arbitrarily at the equator (where a cylindrical projection image created FROM a sphere appears most normal), a pole (where a cylindrical projection image created FROM a sphere appears most stretched out), or anywhere else on the resultant sphere's surface. This would allow creation of a, say, a cylindrical projection of a sphere that represents a numbered billiard ball from a flat representation of the number design. Is there an Adobe or Photoshop product that will provide this? Thanks for any help!

Thanks, Noel. Here's the crux: the image sphincters at the poles, natch. I've been looking for an algorithm or feature in a graphics app that would assume that the flat image of joetalker's entry would be spread proportionately at the poles so that the size of print would be uniform (or the shape of face photo, etc).
Using such a feature would dictate that type, lets say, would be distributed on the flat image something like this in order not to lose too much at the edges (where the sphere mesh meets at 0-longitude), and sphincters as latitude approaches the poles:

If starting with a true globe already spatially correct, creating a cylindrical projection is commonplace. I'm attempting to find an app that will create a cylindrical projection-like graphic ready for a sphere mesh from a flat photo or graphic. The above example would place the photo in correct proportion over the pole of the sphere, discarding information at the ever decreasing edges as the image projects to the poles.

Dynamic Selection not displayed from tcode ZME5A but from se93 yes

Hi,
You problem probably is related with the "container" of this screen. Check if it still in the screen 1000, because this program is a report and if you change some screen parameter, the screen is recreated and elements inserted by user may be lost.
Also, check the program names link, like:
CALL SUBSCREEN %_SUBSCREEN_%_SUB%_CONTAINER INCLUDING 'SAPLSSEL' '2001' .

Check the model number by holding down the option/alt key while selecting About this Mac under the Apple menu. Select System Information and it will tell you the model number. Compare it to:

You can just tap and hold any icon to put into Edit mode. There you can delete.
Or you can just tell iTunes not to sync it.
To remove from iTunes just click on it in list and press delete.

For FREE do the following:
When you get to othe part of the video you want a still shot from, put the video on pause.
Take a screen shot: Apple>Shift>4 - which will produce a cross hair so you can manually select which part of the video you want.Check inside either your Applications or Utility folder for an app called Grab. Will do the above with just a single click.
If you still want to purchase software, suggest that you do a Google & MacUpdate search. This way, you can find exactly what you want.

Project not connected error message, when trying to Generate DDL on NWDS

I created EJB project with Java Persistence Facets.
2 Entities created in the EJB to Generate as Data base table on the Java dictionary project.
The connection works OK (I can ping to the JD project).
But when I tried to Generate DDL and build the table structure on the JD project I received the error message: EJB project not connected.
Has someone came across this issue?

Are you not storing the project number in the staging table designed for storing the task data? You can use create_project API to create the project and tasks at the same time with one single call. You may want to try that option

Thumbnails generating at every project load in CC 2014?

I work on a feature movie. Every time project is open, thumbnails are built from scratch. Even worse - premiere generates only these visible in a bin, after scrolling the bin, remaining start to generate. It takes about 10 minutes to rebuild all of them, you need to manually enter all bins and scroll to work with a comfort later.
Is this only my problem, or anyone else noticed this?
Premiere CC 2014.2 crashes quite often, so it gives you another annoying kick.
I remember adobe promised to fix it around CS6 version, but still not there.

It has an option to invert, and an option to ignore the alpha channel. Neither seems to have done the trick. And it's definitely not interlaced material.
What's weird is that sometimes, if I restart Premiere, it won't strobe for a little while. But it almost seems like the minute I start scrubbing through the timeline, the strobing is induced. I don't know why in the world there would be any connection there, but it seems to be causing it somehow.

How do i delete this PO, i have tried the delivery complete and final invoice tick its not working

The Apple Configurator tool robbed my school of @ 60×4 apps.
Here's my mistake. I bought all the apps needed for the whole school in one lump sum. i.e. 350 copies of Pages. Then happily went to Configurator and loaded the spreadsheet. Installed on all the student iPads. Then need the remaining licenses to gift to the teachers and @ 30 for the cart. NOPE! Once they are loaded in to Configurator you can never get them back. Apple said, “sorry”.
I did this for the iWorks suite, iPhoto, & neu.Annotate before I realized what was happening.
This is what to do, in short. From the VPP account, buy the number needed for exactly what you need, just make sure, it's over 20, even if you only need 11, 20 copies is cheaper than 11 because they are half off at 20 or more. Get the spreadsheet generated by the VPP site for the 20 then buy for the next cart or site, it will generate a new spreadsheet of 20 you can give to the computer and its copy of Configurator.

First, LabVIEW 7 allows you to pass string and path data types directly into the Matlab script node. Otherwise, in LV <= 6.1 you can do the following:
In LabVIEW, convert the string to an array of U8s using the String to Byte Array function. Then pass the U8 array into the Matlab script node as a Real Vector type. Finally, in Matlab, convert the Real Vector to a string using the char() function. For example:

Need to generate a TTL pulse of 3 ms using USB Daq 6361

Hi all,
I need to generate a TTL pulse of 3 ~ 5 ms to trigger my external device. I am using USB daq 6361 with BNC connectors. I tried to use this examples(attached) but was not succesfull , can any one help me out in this, I just want a TTL pulse out to trigger my device. I tried to modify the example to see the wave form out but all it shows is a straight line. I want to generate a TTL pulse as soon as my program starts.
Am I using wrong example? should I use somethis else to generate the pulse. please let me know.

thanks but I couldnt understand , what you meant by create in project? Can you please explain. should I create digital line but I am still getting the same error.
Creating DAQmx items in Project Explorer saves the DAQmx object properties as part of the *.lvproj file. This can be very useful when the Task configuration does not change in the built application and you seldom want to use the task elsewhere. If you want to make minor tweaks to configuration of the run-time app there is even a human readable text file in the build output where properties like scale offsets, timing rates or ranges can be modified without redeploying a new app.
