  • Lower specific limit and upper limit

Hi, we are entering the lower specific limit and upper limit as 100 and 200 in qp02 screen for certain MIC. The table name mentioned as QFLTP, which is a structure. I want to know in which table this values were saved?

    Dear Yadav
Use PLMK or QAMV if you want to get the specification from the lot. In this the values will be E which can be interpreted
    for eg 5,5000000000000000E+01  means 55
    9,0000000000000002E-01 = .9

  • 780 SLI - "Voltage Limit" and "Utilization Limit" Flags

    Hello,
I'm trying to pinpoint an issue I'm having with my video cards, and wanted additional advice before I make purchases. My questions will be: is there anything else I should try? Is there anything I can do to pinpoint the problem?
    My setup:
    Core i7-950 - OC'd to 3.84 ghz
    ASUS P6X58D-E - mobo
2x MSI n780 TF in SLI
    Corsair 850AX Power Supply
Also drawing power: 5x Hard Drives; Typically only 2 are running at one time (OS RAID), the other 2 are a backup RAID I only use to archive stuff, and the last is a Linux drive that Windows doesn't even see
    Issue:
Most games run without issue; but Metro Last Light is unstable. I run at 1920x1080, Advanced Physx, 2x AA, Very High quality and Very High Tessalation. There are times when I get 60 FPS (V-Sync); however, there are times that the performance drops to 6 or 14 FPS. When it is at 14 FPS it is still playable, but 6 FPS is terrible. I use Afterburner's OSD to monitor GPU Usage, Temp, and FPS. When it is at 6 FPS, it is only using 12% of either GPU at most.
While investigating, I noticed a few things in Afterburner that stand out when this occurs.
    1) The Core Clock drops down (throttling?)
    2) The "Voltage Limit" and "Utilization Limit" flags are both set on both GPUs.
    My thoughts:
I'm thinking that my Power Supply isn't quite big enough. I thought this may become an issue when I first bought the two cards (I was previously running 2 460's on SLI, then upgraded to 780s).
My question is if the video cards are pulling the power supply's limit - will this trip the two flags? I would have thought the Voltage Limit would indicate the voltage going too high; but power supply being strained should drop voltage.
I have not changed any of the voltage settings to the card - they are whatever MSI has them set to for the stock OC.
If I buy another PSU, I don't like to go cheap - so it will definitely be beefy. Before I drop a few hundred on it, I want to be sure the Power Supply is the issue. Is there anything else you guys/gals can think of that may be an issue? Any tests I can do to confirm?
The new Thief seems to run fine; also Kombustor runs without issue (but only runs on one GPU - does not SLI). I have no other stability issues - the PC doesn't randomly shut down or reboot. It just seems to be Metro Last Light - but Metro is also the most demanding game that I own.
Any assistance or feedback will be greatly appreciated!
    Edit - Update:
I tried disabling SLI to see if the issue would improve by only loading 1 GPU. No difference at all - no better or worse. Same flag (just only on the one GPU), same exact FPS 6.4.
I installed GPU-Z to be able to monitor core voltage. It normally runs at about 1.1 volts. However, once the issue occurs it is as low as 0.875 volts. Seems to confirm the PSU may be an issue. Any feedback or additional confirmation is still greatly appreciated!

Apologize for the bump - I could not see a way to edit the original post. However, I wanted to make sure this information is available in case others had similar issues.
I found an even better solution. NVIDIA has an updated "Physx" driver - you have to download it from the NVIDIA site (i.e. Other NVIDIA drivers, not GeForce). Look for Physx version 9.13.1220 or later. 9.13.1220 was release on 1/27/2014 - but an older version is included in the most recent GeForce drivers for some reason.
The patch notes from Physx 9.13.1220 specifically state:
*Changes & fixed issues in this release
**Fixes a bug that caused the Metro Last Light to not be GPU accelerated on some systems.
With this software update I can enable Advanced Physx and max settings in Last Light and still run at 60 FPS.

  • What is the significance of Safety Upper Limit and Lower Limit

    Hello Experts,
I was trying to create a generic datasouce in rso2 , while setting the delta specific field I have selected date field and I need to know the significance of other two input fields provided over there:
    Safety Interval Upper Limit.
    Safety Interval Lower Limit.
and check box Real Time Enable.
    Thanks,
    Vijay

    Hi Vijay
Safety Interval Upper Limit of Delta Selection This field is used by DataSources that determine their delta generically using a repetitively-increasing field in the extract structure. The field contains the discrepancy between the current maximum when the delta or delta init extraction took place and the data that has actually been read. Leaving the value blank increases the risk that the system could not extract records arising during extraction. Example: A time stamp is used to determine the delta. The time stamp that was last read is 12:00:00. The next delta extraction begins at 12:30:00. In this case, the selection interval is 12:00:00 to 12:30:00. At the end of extraction, the pointer is set to 12:30:00. A record - for example, a document- is created at 12:25 but not saved until 12:35. It is not contained in the extracted data but, because of its time stamp, is not extracted the next time either. For this reason, the safety margin between read and transferred data must always be larger than the maximum length of time that it takes to create a record for this DataSource (with a time stamp delta), or it must display an interval that is sufficiently large (for determining delta using a serial number). Safety Interval Lower Limit This field contains the value taken from the highest value of the previous delta extraction to determine the lowest value of the time stamp for the next delta extraction. For example: A time stamp is used to determine a delta. The extracted data is master data: The system only transfers after-images that overwrite the status in the BW. Therefore, a record can be extracted into the BW for such data without any problems. Taking this into account, the current time stamp can always be used as the upper limit when extracting: The lower limit of the next extraction is not seamlessly joined to the upper limit of the last extraction. Instead, its value is the same as this upper limit minus a safety margin. This safety margin needs to be big enough to contain all values in the extraction which already had a time stamp when the last extraction was carried out but which were not read. Not surprisingly, records can be transferred twice. However, for the reasons above, this is unavoidable. these are used to determining the delta in a datasource: 1. Time stamp - The field is a DEC15 field which always contains the time stamp of the last change to a record in the local time format. 2. Calendar day - The field is a DATS8 field which always contains the day of the last change. 3. Numerical pointer - The field contains another numerical pointer that appears with each new record .
also dwload this How to Generic Delta doc https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/84bf4d68-0601-0010-13b5-b062adbb3e33
    2.
You can determine the upper limit of the time. To do this, you specify a time period relative to the current date. The time unit for the time period can be specified in days, weeks, months, quarters, years, posting periods, or fiscal years.
The upper limit can also be rounded down to the end of a time period by selecting another, additional time unit, so that, for example, only complete months or years can be archived when a date field is selected as a selection characteristic for the time slice. The time slice defined in this way contains the complete time period before the upper limit calculated.
    1. If delta field is Date (Record Create Date or change date), then use Upper Limit of 1 day.
This will load Delta in BW as of yesterday. Leave Lower limit blank.
    2. If delta field is Time Stamp, then use Upper Limit of equal to 1800 Seconds (30 minutes).
This will load Delta in BW as of 30 minutes old. Leave Lower limit blank.
    3. If delta field is a Numeric Pointer i.e. generated record # like in GLPCA table, then use
Lower Limit. Use count 10-100. Leave upper limit blank. If value 10 is used then last 10
records will be loaded again. If a record is created when load was running, those records
may get lost. To prevent this situation, lower limit can be used to backup the starting
    sequence number. This may result in some records being processed more than once;
therefore, be sure this DataSources is only feeding an ODS Object
    Hope this will help you

  • FBZP different Max limit and amout limit in bank determination

    HI:
FBZP there is "Maximum limit" in company code level/payment method
what is differnt with "Amount limit" / Availble for outgoing payment in Bank determination.
I have try to create invoice with payment method which exceed  max limit at company code or at bank determination, but system still select my invoice to process.

    Hi Mandy,
Maximum amount at the level of Co. Code/Pmt method means, that system at the time of creating payment documents will not pick up any payment which exceeds this amount.
For example, you you have a payment method "Cheque" and the organization wants to set up a maximum limit for the cheque payment, then you can specify maximum amount here and F110 will not issue any cheque exceeding this amount.
Available amounts is maintained at the Bank account level( I have explained this in a previous thread you had raised)
So, in short, you can say, maximum amount is for a single payment document that is created and available amount is the amount that is available to make all the payments from the proposal list.
For your testing : Check whether the Payment method is specified at the item level in your posted document, if yes, remove it and try again. If you read SAP help on this field it says -
" Items in which the Payment method has already been specified are excluded from this.In these cases, the payment method specified is also valid if the maximum amount is exceeded"

  • Expected Value and Overall limit value usage.

    Hi Sap Gurus,
if the frame work order we have these 2 field Expected value and overall limit field value to be filled,
and the system allows Invoice (or GR) up to the maximum of the overall limit value. and only if the value entered crosses the overall limit value the system issues a Error Message ( which is agreeable)
but the logical requirement is that, if the value crosses the Expected value limit the system should display a warning message, indicating that the value has crossed the expected value.
is there any config or note to be applied to get this funtionality.
    Thanks and regards

    Hi,
Please refer to the Online documentation:
             Material Management
             -> External Services Management
                -> Procurement of Services: Processes
                   -> Accelerated and Simplified Processes
-> Use of Value Limits (for Unplanned Services)
Inside this documentation, it is stated that there is a variety of
    limits (combinations) to be used:-
    - Overall limit only
      - Overall limit and limit on services covered by contract item(s)
      - Overall limit, limit on services covered by contract item(s),
      - and other limit
      - Overall limit and other limit
      - Overall limit on services from model specifications or standard
        service catalog
      - Expected value
The expected value is used in the update of the
PO item value and this is the value used in the release strategy.
    Here is the f1 help:
    Expected value - ESUH-COMMITMENT
Value that the unplanned services (or the materials) covered by this
item are not expected to exceed.
    Use
If you are working with the release (approval) procedure for purchasing
documents, this value serves as the basis for a release strategy applied
    to this document.
If you tick 'No limit',you don't need to enter 'Overall limit',but must
enter 'Expected value'.Because 'Expected value' will affect the release
strategy. Please read the note 440601 connected to this.
Concerning the variability of actual cost of a purchase order,
expected value means that the unplanned services (or materials)
covered by this item are not EXPECTED to exceed.
It is not mandatory that it has the same value like total limit value.
Expected value can exceed, it is used for comparison with total limit
    value in cost control.
Expected value can also be combined with unlimited total limit in a
    purchasing document.

  • Credit limit and last paid amount by the customer

    Hello,
I have one requirement in Account Receivable cube (0FI_AR_4). I need to find CREDIT LIMIT and LAST PAID DATE
So I had done the enhancement for 0FI_AR_4  data source and populated the required values. I had checked in RSA3 for the accuracy of data and everything looks fine.. (in RSA3 every line item for particular customers will be populated with the Credit limit and last paid date. )
Then I created 2 Info Object KEY FIGURES in BW and added it to the 0FI_AR_4 Cube.. .. the info object should display only the latest credit limit maintained and the last payment date for the particular customer. So i have some doubt about the property setting of the INFO OBJECT. Could any one please assist me, what setting is required to fetch only latest credit limit and last payment date.
    Thanks
    Sachin

    Dear Sachin
The credit limit and last payment date is available as part of the standard source FI_AR_9.
Now if you have appended the same in the FI_AR_4 , you can maintain both the fields as keyfigure. For credit limit bring in the currency also in the append
Credit Limit - Keyfigure as Amount with Unit 0CURRENCY
Date of last payment -  Keyfigure as Date

  • Approval limit

    Hi,

  • Credit and Comittment Limit

    Hi,
What is the difference between credit limit and comittment limit?

    Hello vasanthi,
    CREDIT LIMIT
This is the amount of credit allowed/extended to the Business Partner.
The remaining credit is calculated as:
Remaining Credit = Credit Limit - Account Balance
    COMMITMENT LIMIT:
This is the 'Credit Limit' plus undeposited cheques and predated cheques
which have already been deposited, but their payment date has not yet
    been reached.
The remaining commitment is calculated as:
Remaining Credit = Credit Limit - [Account Balance + Undeposited
    Collections + Deposited (Predated) Cheques]
The 'Account Balance' is typically based on the invoiced transactions
from the 'Account Balance' field of the Business Partner Master Data. To
include the delivered transactions in the 'Account Balance' computation,
tick the 'Consider Deliveries Balance' option in the General Settings ->
BP tab of the Administration module.
Cheques and cash from 'Incoming Payment' are 'deposited' in the system
using the 'Deposit' function of the Banking module.

  • Free limit (overall limit vs free limit)

    Hello,
I would have a question regarding item category D (service) in Purchase Order.
For such items, a tab "Limits" is displayed, In this tab, there is a field "Overall limit" but also a nested tab called "Other limit" with a field "Limit" (corresponds to free limit in the help)
Help gives me this message :
Overall limit --> Maximum value that the total of all unplanned services (or the value of the material) covered by this document item may not exceed.
Free limit --> Maximum value which an unplanned service may not exceed.
I don't understand the difference between those 2 fields. When I use ML81N, I can not create an item whose the value exceed one of this field.
    Example given :
    Overall limit = 5000u20AC
    Free limit = 1000u20AC
In ML81N, if I create a SES with gross price = 1001u20AC, I get message No limit for unplanned services amounting to 2.501,00 exists
    Other example :
    Overall limit = 5000u20AC
    Free limit = 10000u20AC
In ML81N, if I create a SES with gross price = 5001u20AC, I get message No overall limit of          5.001,00 for unplanned services exists
So I am blocked as soon as 1 of the limit in reached.
Does anyone could explain the difference between those 2 fields?
    Thanks for your help,
    Patrick

  • MSS - Compensation Planning and Approval Issues

    Hi Experts,
We are implementing MSS for one of our clients (only MSS) and face a few issues.
    1. The Submitter is able to view and approve the Compensation plan for his reportee........instead it should be the submitters manager who should only be able to approve ie Compensation approval should be done by M+1 level but it is right now done by the manager himself. How can this be done? Any setting through which we can restrict this?
    2. We would like to restrict the Compensation submission to the Managers only. While we are testing we found that one of us who is not a manager can still create and submit the Compensation change. We don't want this to happen so that even by error the MSS Role is assigned to a non-manager, he should still not be able to make any changes.
Any pointers will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Arun E V

    Hi Arun,
Did you resolve your issue? what MSS version you are using for Compensation Planning and Approval, are you able to see employees for Approval in Planning Overview Application, even i am not able to Employees for Planning Overview Appliation, i am able to see employees in Compensation Planning Application only.
Please help me on this configuration for Planning Review of Compensation, is there is any IMG configuration is required for view employees, Approval and rejections through Planning Overview.
Please help me on this one.
    Thanks in Advance.

  • Split PR/PO values to allow pass approval limit, how can we control this?

Is there a way to limit the number of approvals that can be done on PR / PO per hour / day / week (for the same account, position, category, item).
The purpose of this not to enable users to split the PR/PO values in multiple PR/PO to allow approval limit pass, that is, PR = $3000 will not be approved since it is more that the approval limit of finance manager whereas PR 1 = $1000, PR 2 = $ 1000, PR 3 = $ 1000 will pass.
    How can we avoid this?

Thank you Martin for your reply.
In option 2 does this mean if I am a member of the help desk who has the privilege to edit the user, I will be able to go to users/manage and another users/manage2 for example. In users/manage, I can view all the fields on the user with no edit button. In users/manage2, I can view only the fields I am authorized to edit, and there is an edit button on this page?
I have never done this so I am trying to imagine what the interface would look like and what the data flow would be.
In option 3, I have never thought of this solution. But now I understand that this could be an option.
    Thanks

  • Alert/Email notification for contract getting expired and threshold limit

    Hello All,
For Central Contract management SRM 7.0 we have a requirement where an alert or e-mail notification is to be sent to a group of purchaser if following occurs.
u2022     The validity period of a contract is about to expire
u2022     The greatest possible release quantity will soon be reached
u2022     A new contract has been released
u2022     A purchaser has moved within the organization
u2022     The processing time for a contract has been exceeded
Currently one purchaser is responsible for more than one purchasing group hence whenever a contract reaches it threshold limit a notification mail should be send to a group of Purcahser.
If any one has any one taken care of this type of requirement then please let me know the configuration of how this can be achieved.

    Hello Massa,
    Thanks for the input.
We checked with BBP_ALERTING badi and although the communication type could be changed in debugging mode still the final output is that the system checks for the RML set up in SU01 user profile of the recepient.
For this we took 2 users one with INT setting and other with RML setting.
Contract created with these two user and the expiry date is less than the threshold limit as a result alert got triggered.
In Debugging mode, event ( BBP_EVENTS_DET_RECIPIENTS) for both the user the communicaiton type was coming as blank, we forcefully changed the setting to INT.
But the final result is that the program is checking the SU01 default setting while sending mail, and it send to one user via INT and for other via RML method which should not be the case.
Can you please let me know exactly where I can do the changes, this is really critical for the project as commnunication type change involves a Global change which business people are relecutant to do so.
    Thanks,
