SPM 2.1 Scheduling Option - Daily. How can I control when during the day?
Hi All,
I understand that when you enable the "scheduling" option in the report, the report runs in the background and this caches the data to table opmdm_precalc_a.
You can set scheduling to daily or weekly runs. The weekly load can be set in the "Application Properties" menu e.g. to Sunday.
If I chose "daily", what time is it run then? The same time as the alert in "Application Properties"?
I've had a quick look at OPM* and RSXA* tables but couldnt see anything obvious as a clue.

Yes, you are right. The time of execution is the same as the one for alerts.

How can I cancel service during the strike?
I understand that it is not possible to cancel service online. I called the number (1-800-VERIZON) and on completion of the prompts at which I indicated I wished to cancel service I received a recording that no one is able to process the request because of the strike. I am cancelling service because I no longer wish to have a second line.

Verizon promised a connect date of 08/10 and to date I have no service and It is impossible to get through to cancel service. I did recieve a welcome package from them welcoming me and hoping I am enjoying my new services, what a joke! Just goes to show who's really running the show and not them highly paid executives, Well, strike or not, I'm cancelling my service....eventually. Our only option as I see it is to call BBC or state commissions office ; (

How can I control VCXO or the NCO?
hi,
I am working on a HDTV receiver project. I did some PLL loop code in the FPGA to find the carrier frequency of the input signal. Then I want to use the control signal out of the FPGA to control the VCXO. Can I do that? Is there a sample code for that?
The other choice is use this control voltage to control the NCO on ADC. Can I do that? Is there a sample code for that?

The module’s VCXO does not have a method of control from the FPGA. The calibration data when running the module on internal calibration data is configured outside the access that is available when programming the FPGA. The module’s PLL circuit is not accessible from the FPGA as well.
For configuring the NCO frequency on the fly, I believe it is technically possible, but not easy. There is no example at this time nor has it been attempted as far as I know. I say this as the control of the NCO frequency passes through the ni5640R Template Config ADC (FPGA).vi in the Configuration Timed Loop in the LV FPGA VI. The hard part is adding all the logic and required factors that is implemented in the ni5640R ADC Configure NCO.vi that runs on the Host and creates the actual data input that is written to the FPGA and on to the ni5640R Template Config ADC (FPGA).vi.

How can i control when my animation starts/stops with external JS
I am making a web app that will allow you to go through "pages" by clicking and dragging or sliding your finger (touch devices).
I am wanting to make a seperate animation on Edge for each page and play it when the current page is on witht the relevant edge comp.
So far my code allows me to know what page is being viewed and that the animation should be played, however I can not figure out how to play the comp.
ie.
WHEN page = 1, play composition "page1".
If currentPage is not currentPage, stop composition "page 1".

DAQ Assistant: How Can I Control this at the lowest Level?

I have the PCI slot version of this which I use to generate specific signatures. However I would like to get down to the very low level of this block to see what makes it tick if only to add some other features such as have it dynamically change high and low times after "N" number of pluses/bursts.
At the current state I can't seem to get any further than the GUI that I work with right now. I can give you a VI upon request however this VI is included with labview from what I understand I have version 8.2. If anyone wants a copy of the vi which contains the DAQ Assistant block I will be more than happy to include.
DAQ Assistant Location: Right click on the block diagram of a VI --> Measurement I/O --> NI-DAQmx --> DAQ Assist (This is an icon in itself)
I see the read,write nodes however I have played and tried to see what they do but I have had no such luck. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be grateful.

Go to Solution.You've got a couple of misconceptions about the DAQ Assistant. First, there is no such thing as a pci version. There are some slight differences between versions of the DAQmx driver. Second, the DAQ Assistant is a code generator. When you start it up, it will create custom code for the type of task you want (digital i/o, analaog i/o, etc.) so the VI you eventually have on the block diagram is not included in any version of LabVIEW.
Once you have configured the assistant, you can right click on it and select 'Open Front Panel' this will convert the assistant task to a normal subVI that you can opne and view the block diagram. You can also right click and select 'Create DAQmx Code'. This will place the low level DAQmx functions on your block diagram. You could also skip the whole assistant and just start with the low level DAQmx functions in the first place. There is help associated with each and you have all of the shipping examples to look at. There is also the Getting Started with NI-DAQmx page. -

Is it possible?There's no direct and easy way to control individual mask path vertices with expressions, but it is possible.
Christopher Green has a script (Connect_Vertex_To_Point.jsx) on his website that attaches a vertex to a control point. You can use that script to figure out how to do something similar.

I partitioned my MacBook Pro and installed Windows 8 in it.....now I can't find my partition when I pressed option key when booting up.....so how can I do to find the partition to boot...I can see it in the disk manager in Mac....any ideas? thanks..!..

install, reboot twice and choose the Windows-Partition on next startup.
(The apple-bootloader doesn't display all bootable harddisks.
With rEFIt you can boot from all partitions/harddisks on your computer.)

Since Apple has stopped supporting and offering iDVD you'll need to purchase the iLIfe 11 disk from a 3rd party retailer like Amazon.com: iLife 11 which will include iDVD 7.

I adobe acrobat 7.0 professional. When I open or save a PDF it reverts to Adobe Reader XI. How can I change that to the pro as it has far more editing options.
You may want to keep Reader. You may want to select Acrobat as your default, but be able to click on a PDF (or PDF link) to open in Reader when needed. There are likely some PDFs that will not open correctly in AA 7 because of new features folks add. Just because it opens in Reader XI does not mean it is in the new format, but just that is the default opening you have. To tell the type of file, you have to open the PDF and check the properties (ctrl-D) and check Description>PDF version.

My old version of firefox had a little red firefox tab (top, left) with a pulldown menu offering print option,
then a secondary menu offering print preview option. How can I access the print preview function in
the latest version of firefox?When you use the new "3-bar" menu button, where you see the Print icon, that actually opens Print Preview. You can use Customize to move that to the main toolbar if you like.

Create a NEW account/ID for her using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. My time machine backup disc has apps from Mountain Lion that won't open now that I have Yosemite. They all say need to be upgraded to Yosemite. Go to app store. But app store sees that I have yosemite so doesn't even show me an udate option. How can Update these files??
How do you know they won't run in Yosemite? You're not trying to fiddle with stuff in your backup from the Finder, are you? If so you are likely to render that backup unusable.
WHen when you restore them from your backup, they should be updateable.
