Hi,
Please try checking the user account or user group on which the send  port runs (check host instance) has sufficient rights
on:
1. the database which contains the table,
2. the user defined table  itself or the stored
 procedure.
It should have connect permissions to the database and executing permissions.

  • Issue with Run time parameter values

    Hi All,
    Am facing an error while loading EBS 11.5.10 Financial data. Problem is, my parameters in the SQL Qualifier query (run time parameters in the SQL query) were not being replaced with appropriate values during run time. This is happening for the task "SDE_ORA_Reverse_GLJournals_ImportReference_Extract" that have SQL query in 'mplt_BC_ORA_XactsimpGlrfExtract' mapplet.
    Ihave checked in parameter file and it have values for those Run time parameters. For some reasons, these values were not being picked up by that SQL query.
    Can someboday help me on this about possible reason(s) behind this?

    There are 5 tasks SDE_PSFT_PayrollFact_Total, SDE_PSFT_PayrollFact_Earnings, SDE_PSFT_PayrollFact_EarningsOther, SDE_PSFT_PayrollFact_Deductions, SDE_PSFT_PayrollFact_Taxes are failing all are with same error READER_1_1_1> PR_18012 SQL Error [

    I verified the mapplet in that missing expression is $$LAST_EXTRACT_DATE value.

  • Test Stand LabView adapter 8.6 run time will not run 8.5 VIs

    I’m trying to run a script I developed with a dev computer on
    a regular PC set up with a Test Stand User Gui, and run times for Test Stand
    and Labview.
    With the Test Stand Labview adapter set to 8.6.1 all of my
    ENA(Agilent Network Analyzer) calls fail for “VI Version is too early to
    convert  to the current  LabVIEW version.”  The ENA library is written in 8.5.  If I set the adapter to 8.5.1 then all of the
    VIs developed in 8.6 fail.  In addition
    it will not run any VIs that I save back to 8.5.  I installed a demo Labview development
    version (2010?) and everything ran fine with the adapter set to Development
    System.
    I am not sure what to try next to get it to run on the
    regular PC, any hints.
    Test Stand = 4.2
    LabView = 8.6
    Running in windows XP
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    One of the many things I tried was saving the ENA library to 8.6, but I could not get it work.
    This is the Original library I installed and was trying to Convert (8.0 upgrade agena.zip)

    I am pretty new to labview so I am not sure how to make the save to previous version workfor libraries, but I can easily do it with individual VIs.  For libraries, it creates a new directory, and puts in all of the files and then asks me about saving the lib files as something else.  This is where I think I get it wrong.  I tried it again today and got the same results.
    I greatly appreciate the Help

  • SQL Adapter Issue

    Does the SOA SQL Adapter support to return a collection of records when the Query contains multiple values for a single key ?
    Can I provide a query like
    Select EmployeeID, Salary from Employees where EmployeeID = 345 or EmployeeID = 4545 or EmployeeID = 7777
    The SQL Adapter configuration wizard does not have a way to specify the query above.
    In the last step of the wizard, I hard coded the above query but the SQL adapter is only returning a single record instead of 3 records.

    Thanks for your response!
    Let me describe my scenario in more detail.
    The Client invoking the web-service will be passing information about various employees.
    The XSLT will extract all the EmployeeID's from the Client Request and will build a string like
    EmployeeID=1234 or EmployeeID=5678 or EmployeeID=9999.
    Now a parameter called EID will be populated with the above string value.
    In the SQL Adapter Wizard, I have the query Select EmployeeId, Ssn from Employees where EID. Note that EID is a parameter. I cannot declare 3 or 4 paramenters because the client can send hundreds of EmployeeID's. I don't know how many.
    SOA suite runs this fine but only one row is returned.
    So my question is For one column but multiple Selection criteria values for this column, Will SQL Adapter support returning a collection?

  • Error -18004 with LabVIEW Adapter using LabVIEW Run Time Engine 7.1.1

    Hi to all,
    I am trying to use the LabVIEW Run Time Engine 7.1.1 instead of the Development System for executing VIs in TestStand with the LabVIEW adapter.
    The Problem is that I get the following error, saying that my VIs cannot be executed:
    -18004; An error occurred accessing the LabVIEW Run-Time Engine DLL.
    All my VIs were masscompiled with LabVIEW 7.1.1
    How do I manage this problem, in other words how do I get my VIs in TestStand to run with the LV Run Time Engine?
    Thanks for you help,
    - Caribe -
    PS: I configured the adapter to use the  LabVIEW Run Time Engine 7.1.1. When I check back in the dialog "LabVIEW Adapter Configuration" the selector went back to LV Runtime 7.1??? Thats weird dude!

    Hi Caribe,
    Did you find any solution to this weird behaviour? Even I am facing the same problem! If we set the adapter as LV 7.1.1 runtime engine, it changes back to LV 7.1 runtime engine.
    I am also facing -18002 error after mass compiling LV 7.1 folder and my source code folder.
    If you can share your solution, that would be of great help to me. If i couldnt find any solution, I have planned to revert back to LV 7.1 version.
     Thank you,
    Sasi

  • SQL Trace(ST05) and Run Time Analysys(SE30)

    Hi ABAP Experts,
    Can any one explain what is the use of
    1) ST05 and
    2) SE30
    ponits will be given for clear cut explanation
    Thanks and Regards
    Vijaya

    Hi,
    The SQL Trace part of the Performance Trace tool allows you to see how the OPEN SQL statements that you use in ABAP programs are converted to standard SQL statements (see Embedded SQL) and the parameters with which the embedded SQL statements are passed to the database system.
    Overview
    From the time you turn on the trace function to the time you turn it off again, all database activity occurring either for a specific user or for an entire system is recorded. The SAP System takes OPEN SQL statements and converts them in to embedded SQL statements that it passes to the database and makes the results available. The embedded SQL statement and its parameters are recorded in the SQL Trace file. The results of the SQL statement, like return code, number of entries retrieved, inserted, or deleted by the database are recorded in the SQL Trace file as well. The log file also contains the runtime of the statement and the place in the application program, respectively transaction, from which it was called which enables additional analyses (supported by the SQL Trace function).
    From the recorded SQL trace you can deduce:
    ·        which SQL statements your application carries out
    ·        which values the system uses for specific database accesses and changes
    ·        how the system translates ABAP OPEN SQL commands (such as SELECT) into standard SQL commands
    ·        where your application positions COMMIT statements
    ·        where your application makes repeated database accesses
    ·        what database accesses or changes occur in the update section of your application
    Create a Trace (SQL Server Profiler)
    To create a trace
    On the File menu, click New Trace, and connect to an instance of SQL Server.
    The Trace Properties dialog box appears.
    Note:
    The Trace Properties dialog box fails to appear, and the trace begins instead, if Start tracing immediately after making connection is selected. To turn off this setting, on the Tools menu, click Options, and clear the Start tracing immediately after making connection check box.
    In the Trace name box, type a name for the trace.
    In the Use the template list, select a trace template on which to base the trace, or select Blank if you do not want to use a template.
    To save the trace results, do one of the following:
    Click Save to file to capture the trace to a file. Specify a value for Set maximum file size. The default value is 5 megabytes (MB).
    Optionally, select Enable file rollover to automatically create new files when the maximum file size is reached. You can also optionally select Server processes trace data, which causes the service that is running the trace to process trace data instead of the client application. When the server processes trace data, no events are skipped even under stress conditions, but server performance may be affected.
    Click Save to table to capture the trace to a database table.
    Optionally, click Set maximum rows, and specify a value.
    Caution:
    When you do not save the trace results to a file or table, you can view the trace while SQL Server Profiler is open. However, you lose the trace results after you stop the trace and close SQL Server Profiler. To avoid losing the trace results in this way, click Save on the File menu to save the results before you close SQL Server Profiler.
    Optionally, select the Enable trace stop time check box, and specify a stop date and time.
    To add or remove events, data columns or filters, click the Events Selection tab. For more information, see: How to: Specify Events and Data Columns for a Trace File (SQL Server Profiler)
    Click Run to start the trace.
    Runtime analysis:
    se30 is the tcode for run time analysis, is a tool it
    display report based on lps for abap pragram execution
    time , data base load, system load. these are all will
    display in micro seconds.this tool will use for Transaction
    code, function modules , abap progrmes
    In Transaction SE30, fill in the transaction name or the program name which needs to be analyzed for performance tuning.
    For our case, let this be “ZABAP_PERF_TUNING”
    After giving the required inputs to the program, execute it. After the final output list has been displayed, PRESS the “BACK” button.
    On the original SE30 screen, now click on “ANALYZE” button.
    The percentage across each of the areas ABAP/ Database/System shows the percentage of total time used for those areas and load on these areas while running the program . The lesser the database load faster the program runs.

  • WCF-SQL adapter issue

    Hi all,
    I have ne issue with adapter when i am polling data from sqldb the dataset is creating in biztalk how can i add the elements in that,i am using this first time.
    Regards,
    Raman

    What do you mean "add the elements"?
    If you add a column to the SQL ResultSet, just add the corresponding Element to the Schema in the Schema Designer.
    If the ResultSet changes significantly, you can just re-run the Wizard.
    There is nothing special or remotely complicated about this.

  • Quota generation issue while running time evaluation

    Dear Experts,
    we are using positive time management ,generally we will generate quota based on number of working days of the employee ,so for counting working days we will add day off and public holidays also ,now quota is generating fine ,but if the employees applies leave in between week off ,then quota is using for the week off also but that day is adding to the working days so quota is generating for that day as well ,please give me some inputs how to exclude that day .it is very urgent,please help me experts .
    if employee taken leave from 1st to 15th
    calender days -15 days
    absence days - 13 days
    Quota Used  -15 days
    in this case the absence days should be 15 days

    When you mention Absence Days as 13, this is what you see in 2001 screen. You cannot change this as SAP calculates the absence days as those which are working days.
    When it comes to your PCR where you are counting WOFF and PH to generate quota you will need to query the absence type and include/exclude the leave types based on your business logic. If you can share the PCR which is used for generating quota, maybe it will give us a clue.

  • How to read Adapter Parameters at run time

    Hi All,
             We want to write a adapter module that reads the Adapter type and the file name which the adapter picks up, directly from Adapter parameters at runtime and then our adapter module which is being used in the receiver adapter would read these parameters and use them for further processing.
    Now the question is how to read the adapter type and the file name that the sender adapter picks up? I am sure a adapter module is being used internally by SAP that holds these parameters, but which internal adapter module does this and how to access it's parameters so that we can use them in our scenario.
    Regards,
    XIer
    Edited by: XIer on Jan 9, 2008 12:36 AM

    Check the file adapter FAQ. There is a SAP note with the file adapter FAQ that descirbes how the filename can be read with in a module.
    The code looks like something like this,
                   Hashtable mp =
                        (Hashtable) inputModuleData.getSupplementalData(
                             "module.parameters");
                   String strFileName = "";
                   strFileName = (String) mp.get("FileName");

  • BTS 2010: SQL Adapter Class not registered

    Hi,
    after adding a host instance to the SQL Adapter, we receive every time a Class not registered error. The host instance is 32-bit and default for the SQL Adapter.
    Any ideas or is anyone facing the same issue?
    KR
    Peter

    I would suggest to refer the post below before repairing.
    The
    error threshold has been exceeded. The receive location is shutting down
    Looks like a mismatch between 32 bit calls executing in 64 bit host, confirm that your host is indeed a 32 bit host.
    Try to check below things
    1) check the account have access in db
    2) Check the BizTalk server build configuration, what is Platform target (Any CPU/ 32 Bit/ 64 bit) ?
    3) Try for another 32 bit Host Instance which have both receive and send handler (like 32 bit BizTalkServerApplication default host instance)
    4) check installed adapter pac bit version.

  • Pointers for optimizing system performance (run time) while running DP process chain with parallel processing

    Hi Experts,
    We are running APO DP process chain with parallel processing in our company, we are experiencing some issues regarding run time of process chain, need your help on below points;
    - What are the ways we can optimize process chain run time.
    - Special points we need to take care of in case of parallel processing profiles used in process chain.
    - Any specific sequence to be followed for different processes in process chain - if there is some best practice followed.
    - Any notes suggesting ways to improve system performance for APO version 7 with different enhancement packs 1 and 2.
    Any help will be really appreciated.
    Regards

    HI Neelesh,
    There are many ways to optimize performance of the process chains (background jobs) in APO system.
    Firstly I would recommend you to identify the pain areas (steps) which are completing with more runtimes. Then each one of the step has got different approaches to decrease the runtime.
    Like you may end up with steps like infopackage executions, DTPs, DP mass processing jobs etc which might be running with more runtimes. So now target each one of them differently and find out the ways to optimize. At the same time the approach you follow should be technically possible with basis perspective (system load and utilization) as well.
    And coming to parallel processing, you can use parallel processing for different for different jobs. You can further r explore on the same using parallel processing. Like loading an infocube, mass processing, infopackage execution, DTP, TSCOPY etc.
    Check the below link for more info
    Performance problems in DP mass processing
    Let me know if you require further info.

    All process were fine when they connected to a DB Server(8i version), but

    (Fetch out of sequence) was always issued at run-time. I checked the error
    message and found that the program was stuck on the "PREPARE" description. I
    have spent much more time debugging, but it still didn't work. Could you
    help me? I'm so preciated.

    Hello,
    This error comes when  there is an OpenSQL statement that tries to insert a record into a database table that is already existing.
    You need to implement  SAP Note 196113 and 1041894 along with technical consultant to help and overcome the issue.

  • Exception vs run-time error.

    In C# there is no any difference between the folowing two lines of code:
    int d = 0; int i = 1/d;
    throw new DivideByZeroException();
    However, in T-SQL world, it seems that the following two lines are not the same:
    SELECT 1/0;
    RAISERROR ('Divide by zero error encountered.', 16, 1);
    even though they generate similar messages:
    Msg 8134, Level 16, State 1, Line 1
    Divide by zero error encountered.
    Msg 50000, Level 16, State 1, Line 1
    Divide by zero error encountered.
    Extract from
    MSDN:
    RAISERROR Generates an error message and initiates error processing for the session.
    Another
    extract:
    SET XACT_ABORT Specifies whether SQL Server automatically rolls back the current transaction when a Transact-SQL statement raises a run-time error.
    When I run the following two SPs, I get different behaviour:
    CREATE PROCEDURE dbo.USP_PROCEDURE_1
    AS
    BEGIN
    SET XACT_ABORT, NOCOUNT ON;
    BEGIN TRAN;
    select 1/0;
    PRINT 'I did not reach that point.'
    END
    GO
    CREATE PROCEDURE dbo.USP_PROCEDURE_2
    AS
    BEGIN
    SET XACT_ABORT, NOCOUNT ON;
    BEGIN TRAN;
    RAISERROR ('Divide by zero error encountered.', 16, 1);
    PRINT 'Why did I reach that point?'
    END
    GO
    The first SP rollbacks transaction and returns the following message:
    Msg 8134, Level 16, State 1, Procedure USP_PROCEDURE_1, Line 7
    Divide by zero error encountered.
    The second SP leaves transaction open:
    Msg 50000, Level 16, State 1, Procedure USP_PROCEDURE_2, Line 7
    Divide by zero error encountered.
    Why did I reach that point?
    Msg 266, Level 16, State 2, Procedure USP_PROCEDURE_2, Line 0
    Transaction count after EXECUTE indicates a mismatching number of BEGIN and COMMIT statements. Previous count = 0, current count = 1.
    Is it by design? Why? What is the point?
    Alexey

    Sometimes I'm tempted to say that a driving design goal in SQL Server for error handling has always been maximum confusion.
    The true story more likely t obe is that through the years, too little attention has been paid to this area, and once some funny behaviour has made it into the product, they are very anxious to change it, as it could break existing applications.
    With SET XACT_ABORT ON, most errors abort the batch and roll back the transaction, but there is a small class of errors that do not:
    * Syntax errors.
    * RAISERROR.
    * Error 266 (trancount mismatch).
    * Dropping a non-existing table and a few more.
    Once can note that in SQL 2000, binding errors (e.g. missing table) were also unaffected by XACT_ABORT, but luckily they did have the guts to change that in SQL 2005.
    To muddle the waters even further, in SQL 2012 they introduced the ;THROW statement which serves the same purpose as RAISERROR, but ;THROW aborts the batch. However, if XACT_ABORT is OFF, ;THROW does not roll back the transaction, a behaviour not seen before
    SQL 2012. As I said, confusion is a driving design goal for error handling in SQL Server.

  • Music Run Time

    My music CD soundtrack has 10 tracks. When I inserted the CD in my mac, all the tracks were copied in iTunes. I ejected the CD and then I payed the music directly from iTunes. Runtime for the first track is shown as 2:42 in iTunes. But the actual run time specified in the CD is 2:38. Same for other tracks. Runtime is slightly different between the CD and the iTunes (anywhere from 3 seconds to 20 seconds).
    I tried three other music CD's and all have the same issues - different run time.
    Can anyone please specify what is the reason for this? Can this be fixed?
    PS: When I played the CD in boombox CD players, run time exactly matches to what was specified in the CD.
    Thanks

    To which format are you ripping?
