Sql agent Operator not appearing in drop down box for job mail notification

I have created a new sql agent operator but operator is not appearing in the drop down box when setting up email notification for job failure?
SQL server 2008 r2
windows server 2008 r2
*Resolved deleted the existing job and recreated and then new operator was available in the dropdown box

I believe this is a Windows related issue, since it's the windows Save File manager we're talking about here (right?). You should contact Microsoft for help on that one, I believe. You'd expect to be able to delete the entries by simply tapping ''Delete'' on your keyboard when they are focused (that's how it goes for deleting specific form autocomplete entries in Firefox), but I haven't tried that.

Some websites require a special client certficate for access. If you don't have that certficate, you'll have to contact the site operator to find out how to get one.
Sometimes the problem is caused by a web server that is configured to request an optional client certificate. Safari treats the request as mandatory. In that case, other browsers such as Firefox and Chrome may be able to connect to the site, because they ignore the request.

Domain Names Not Appearing In Drop Down of Data Cleansing Task

For some reason, in several of my DQS data cleansing tasks, the domain names of the knowledge base I choose are not appearing. This is turn leads to an error message stating that "No domain field has been mapped to the input column...".
The task can see the DQS server and it can see the various knowledge bases on that server, but the domains are not appearing.
Has anyone else run into this issue?

I have just found the same issue.
For me, I believe it is because the domains are only used in matching rules, which the SSIS task does not support. Therefore they are not in the drop down as the SSIS DQS task cannot use them. Only map domains for data correction and you should be ok.

Children not appearing in drop down of dimension in multiple hierachy

Hello,
In 4.2 we had parenth1 and parenth2 and one dimension table (at least I think). If parenth2 had multiple layers of children (children that were parents) you saw them in the drop down lists of the dimension for the second hierarchy. In 5.1 it appears the architecture changed with dimensions and multiplie heirarchies. I do not see children of children in my alternate hierarchies as before. In looking in the dim"dimensionName"_H2 table I see the correct information. The data seems to be in the tables but drop down lists for the dimension are not showing children of children if this makes sense.
Ex.in 5.1 I'm expecting to see in Hierarchy2 09 -> Child 099 ->Grandchild 0991
but I'm only seeing Hierachy2 09 -> Child 099
The Grandchild 0991does not appear. (Grandchild if you will of Hierarchy2)
In Hierachy1 of the same dimension (or what use to be Parenth1 in 4.2) you see all parents and their children and children of their children etc. Note: this dimension is built using a dimension build ssis pkg.
I know my explanation is probably wordy and confusing but hopefully someone can make sense out of it. Any feedback, would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Vikki,
The way the memberselector shows the hierarchies to end-users is not changed from V4 to V5, so I think there might be something wrong in your dimension.
Please try to copy the contents of the mbr<dimname> table to you membersheet to see more clearly what is going wrong, also try to process it from there (it will give you more hints compared to using a ssis package to import a dimension.
Another idea is to look to Apshell, some dimension have multiple hierarchies, you could compare them to your own to see what is wrong.

Lotus Notes Missing in Drop Down List for Calendar Synch

Hello there,
   A) I am attempting to synch my blackberry tour with my calendar in Lotus Notes 8.5.2. I was able to previously synch my calendar when I had Lotus Notes 8.5.1, but since our upgrade to 8.5.2, I get an error saying it could not find a supported version of Lotus Notes.
B) When I try to go in and configure the organizer section of the desktop software, there is no option for the drop down list for Lotus Notes. I have tried uninstalling, rebooting and then reinstalling (based on info from other posts), but none of that seems to work. I have checked and all the connectors are there, but for some reason, they are not being recognized. Is there some specific key or file that intellisynch is looking for to know that Lotus Notes is installed on the machine?
Now, I am assuming A&B are symptoms of a common problem, but I am at a loss as to how to move forward. Any ideas on how I can get this software to recognize Lotus Notes? I appreciate any help you can give.

I want to bring a new camaign type option in drop down box in web UI. in spro i define a new Campaign type(spro-crm-marketing- marketing planning and campaign management basic function---define types/objective/tactics).
but this new capaign type is not available in web ui campaign drop down box. actually i want to create a new campaign type fund management to add fund management functioanlity in Campaign.

I'm creating a form with multiple drop-down boxes. Is there anyway to create a selection with multiple lines? For instance, for addresses? Can I center the text inside of the drop-down, or bold it? Can a drop down be split into multiple lines to flow along with paragraphs?
Also, can a fillable text form expand without disrupting the rest of the document?
Is there any program that will do any of this?

- Yes, but only with a script and it's not a documented feature so sometimes it doesn't work well.

- The last one (expanding text fields) can be done if you create your form in LiveCycle Designer. The rest I'm not sure about.

If I go new file, Insert Symbol, Movie Clip, then draw a
circle and a line using those two tools, I am unable to get the
colour drop down box to show so that I can select Alpha. I have
managed to do this many times for an imported to library graphic
from Freehand, one simply clicks on the graphics line after the
graphic has been drag/dropped to stage, go properties and the
Colour drop down list from where you select the word Alpha appears.
I have tried a single click, a double click, a treble click,
just cant see that dropdown box for simple shapes !

Drop Down Box for Date Range Selection

I have multiple queries on the same worksheet with different variables for each. To simplify changing the one consistent variable, the date range, I have added a drop down box tied to all infoproviders in the query. This would work if I wanted to select a single date but I cannot determiine how to select a date range (01/2010 - 12/2010). Any ideas on how I might accomplish this? I am using Netweaver 7.1.

You can use two single-input variables: one for DATE FROM and the other for DATE TO and use them in query definition to restrict the date (restriction type: Range between DATE FROM and DATE TO).
Then you create two dropdown boxes, one for each variable.

ODBC driver does not appear in drop down list

We created a system DSN using Unix ODBCConfig and the drivers
supplied by IBM in its iSeries Access package. We are trying to
connect to our AS400. We now have Coldfusion installed on SuSe 9.3
Open Enterprise Server. Coldfusion runs fine. When we try to add a
data source in the ColdFusion administrator, the system DSN driver
that we configured does no show up in the drop down list. Did we
miss a step? We have done this succesfully with coldfusion on
Windows 2003 server.

What version of ColdFusion are you running? I know with MX 7,
your individual DSNs may not be listed, ODBC or otherwise, only the
driver types. You are prompted to provide a valid Data Source name,
then to select a valid driver type, which in your case would be
ODBC Socket.

Toolbar Drop-Down Box for rectangle etc not working

Dropdown boxes for Toolbar (Pan, Transform, rectangle, Bezier, rectangle Mask) do not respond. The tools on right hand side of the bar (Add Generator, Behavior, Filter) are OK. I am using OSX 10.8.5 and motion 5.07.

By the shear nature of a dropdown list, only one value may be returned as it is for one and only one field.
If you need to return multiple values, you would need to create a modal screen with a table control on it and set options to allow the user multiple selected rows, which you would then recognize with an 'X' in the SEL field you add to the internal table and table control.
