SRM business iviews as menu

I have a series of SRM iviews. I would like to have one menu item in the portal navigation, that opens a separate window.
In this window, the detailed navigation on the left side should have the three menu items, where the right one has the SRM-topic.
It is like the personalization-workset.
But I can't get it to work. It only works (for me) if it is displayed within the portal (no extra popup screen)

When you create and deploy these iViews, they are available in the NetWeaver Portal under
Content Administration -> Visual Composer -> Models -> iViews
You can add these iViews to a role or workset, assign these to the user, and make sure the role is set as an entry point so the user can see it. This will make these models available.

Hi All,
I would like to know the infosource of 0SR_C01 procurement overview(aggregated) cube. while on help.sap it shows 0SR_MC01 as a multiprovider for 0SR_C01. But could not find the infosource for the same.
I would also like to know if anyone has the list of content infocubes and their infosources for SRM. Please share it with me.

DataSources
New DataSources have been created for NW 2004s BI Content Add-On 2 and SRM 5.0. These are described here, along with their extraction logic.
The following graphic shows the data flow from the DataSources to the DataStore objects
Structure
Each DataSource has an extraction structure and a data extractor. Generally, this is an RFC-capable function module.
There are two types of extraction: Specific extraction and generic extraction:
Specific extraction is strongly oriented towards the data model of the BI System and the necessary extract structure. It executes DataSource-specific processing steps.
The logic contained within the generic extraction is implemented centrally and can therefore be reused by the specific extraction modules. The generic extraction deals with access to the SRM database and is similar for each DataSource.

Extraction logic in detail
Data extraction involves the following six function modules:
InitLoad
InitLoad is called as soon as an initial upload is started in the BI System. In other words, it is executed when data is loaded into the BI System for the first time. The module can restrict the data extraction according to filter criteria that were defined in BI during extraction (for example, extract the data for a particular timeframe). InitLoad packages the data before it is transferred to the BI System.
DeltaLoad
DeltaLoad is called when a document is modified in the SRM System. The module writes data that has accumulated since the initial loading to a delta queue.
Data Collector
The Collector reads the required data from the database in the source system. For performance reasons, the data is then buffered in system-internal tables. The tables have the same structure as in the database. This saves time and effort, because data conversion is kept to a minimum.
Data Consolidator
The Consolidator groups data that belongs together from a business point of view. The consolidated data is stored in internal tables and is prepared for further processing.
Data Normalizer
The Denormalizer prepares the source data for the BI System. It calculates key figures that are required for the report but are not contained on the database and converts data types in the source system to data types of the BI System. Depending on the BI data model, the system now decides how each row is filled with data.
Data Mapper
During mapping of the data, the system defines which fields of the denormalized data structure are assigned to the fields of the extract structure. In this way, flat and one-dimensional lines are generated from the data.

SRM Business Packages upgrade frm 5.0 to 7.0

Hello SRM Gurus,
We are running SRM 7.0 with Business packages 5.0 and would like to upgrade to BP 7.0. On the serviceMarketPlace to download, there are BP 0-9. do I have to install in sequence or can I just go install the latest SRM Business packages?

SRM Business Package built on Webdynpro java or webdynpro ABAP

Any can please clarify. Like ESS/MSS and MDM business packages are built on java webdynpro, But SRM Business packages are built on which technology like java webdynpro or ABAP webdynpro? Please clarify it.
Also clarify following questions?

thanks for the quick reqply. since SRM7.0 is built on Webdynpro ABAP. Even SRM50 BP is built on ABAP webdynpro or java webdynpro. Please clarify it.

SRM business systems

In an SRM POC scenario, we set up the SRM business systems individually in PI dev, qa and prod without setting them transport targets. Now we have a full blowm SRM live system but unfortunately the SLD set was never changed. If we create groups in dev qa and prod in PI landscape would it affect the existing interfaces live. For example, if there is a SRD already created in PID SLD and SRT in PIQ SLD. If we create SRD and SRT as transport targets and move it QA, would it affect the already existing SRT business system??

Thanks. But when you create the groups and move the transport would it create problems to interfaces running in QA and PROD? I am assuming since the GUID's are different would it create problems when it sees a new SRT imported from Dev?

Updating extended fields in SRM Business Partner Web Dynpro UI does not work

Hey community,
I'd like to extend the SAP SRM Business Partner Web Dynpro (SRM 7.13). I did it like in SAP Note 1386310 described. Everything works fine, the fields show the correct data. But updating these fields does not have any effect.
I only want to extend the existent fields NAME_ORG3 and NAME_ORG4. I did the following steps:
- Because of the fact that the fields are existent and not custom, I skipped the extension of structures INCL_EEW_BUT000 and INCL_EEW_BUT000_X (ok, in utter despair I even tried this, but of course I got the message "fields already exist...")
- I added the 2 fields to the SRM business partner data transfer structure INCL_EEW_BP_CSF_COMPANY_DATA.
- In Web Dynpro /SAPSRM/WDC_MODC_NAME, view V_PS_OIF_NAME I added the fields NAME_ORG3 and NAME_ORG4 to the context node COMPANY_DATA
- I added corresponding Input fields and labels to the WD layout.
- in view /sapsrm/v_mdfsbc I customized the new fields
-> the new fields are visible in the WD, and, oh wow, they even show the correct data!
-> Unfortunately, updating the fields does not work, but000 does not get any data.
Debugging the function "bupa_central_extincl_change" brings up, that function BUP_MEMORY_BUT000_GET gets a but000 structure with filled NAME_ORG1 and NAME_ORG2, but NAME_ORG3 and NAME_ORG4 are empty.
I also regarded SAP Note 1453747, but the code was already right.
Any Ideas? Many thanks in advance!

I added the one fields "APPROVAL_EMAIL” to the SRM business partner, data transfer structure '/SAPSRM/S_CLL_BP_COMPANY_DATA ' . I have appended the structure.
I added corresponding Input fields and labels to the WD layout.
-> the new fields are visible in the WD,
-> i am able to visible the input field in WD,
But if add some value press on next tab and back to the screen the value will be refreshed .

R/3 4.7 Customer Master records replicated to SRM Business Partner

Hi Gurus,
Does SRM 5.0 provide any ability to replicate R/3 4.7 Customer Master records across to any SRM Business Partner that we may choose to define?
Our particular scenario is that some of our R/3 SD Customer records represent polling locations (this is specific to the local government offices in our SAP public sector solution). The solution would need to allow for any R/3 updates to be auto replicated across to SRM.
Any insights on how this could be acheived would be valuable.

Deploy SRM Business Package

Hello Portal-Experts,
I have to install SRM Business Packages for SAP Enterprise Portal. Can I simply deploy them with the Netweaver Development Studio? The install instruction recommendet to use the JSPM, but this should not be used anymore for NW 7.31. In my opinion the NWDS will do the same. Is this correct?

I think you can still use JSPM although it has been replaced by SUM

Issue on Creating RFx in webdynpro ABAP application - SRM Business Package

Hi
We are in to SRM 7.0 with the same version of Business Package in SAP Portal also.
I am trying to create a RFx from Portal which in turn calls the webdynpro ABAP application (Strategic Purchasing->Strategic Sourcing->Create Documents->RFx)
sap/bc/webdynpro/sapsrm/wda_l_fpm_oif.
This Application has some button called "Tech RFx", "Permissions" etc., When I click on those buttons it throws the error as below :
"There is no iView available for system "SAP_SRM": object "TechResp". For more information, contact your administrator."
Please let me know where we are missing. I have checked all the Portal permissions. Even I can able to access all other iviews except this two buttons.
Any settings or parameters required on webdynpro ABAP side.

Dear Raja,
this behavior occurs if the IView com.sap.pct.srm.gp.iv_tech_resp
is not assigned to the role which is assigned to the user.
Please assign this IView to the desired user.
Here are the steps to follow in your systems:
STEP 1: Login to the Portal with Content Admin Authorization.
STEP 2: Navigate to Portal Content -> Content Provided by SAP ->
specialist -> SRM7.0 -> Core -> Roles -> Open the desired role and
choose Navigation Folder.
STEP 3: Now navigate to Portal Content -> Content Provided by SAP ->
specialist -> SRM7.0 -> PPS -> iViews -> Tendering -> Select Tech
Responses (Technical name is iView com.sap.pct.srm.gp.iv_tech_resp) and
right click and choose 'Add iView to Role' -> Delta Link and save.
STEP 4: Log off and login with the user and check the issue.

Srm role + iview customization

I am working on SRM 4. I am new to SAP.
I need to customixze the iviews like change the label of one or two fiels , or delete some fields. How am i supposed to do that? do I have to import the epa file in the
NWDS and then modidy the code in web - dynpro or Java persepective or in ABAP.
Can anyone please help me as to how to proceed on this issue.

First, you should try to talk your users into using the software as it was intended to be used - why are they deleting and changing fields? SAP delivers software and business process, and if you deviate too much from what they deliver you will run into problems later.

You might try modifying the BusinessHTML using transactio se80 -> Internet Services
Of course you'll have to located the service in question. Try going to the screen in question (using internet explorer), right click, view source, and upon investigation you'll find the appropriate service name. This is the file you will need to edit in se80.
Once you make your changes, you will need to publish these servicse back to your ITS server.
You should also have a discussion with someone in charge and tell them "we're going to need a place to back up the old ITS server templates" since these are not typically a part of a transport or CTS process you will need to create your own.

We are planning on moving to SRM 7.0 Ehp2 and plan on using a portal interface with the Business Packages. Will Netweaver 7.02 support the Busines Packages for SRM 7.0 Ehp2 or is Netweaver 7.1 or greater required.

Javascript Error in EP7 when accessing SRM - Shop iView - SRM5.0

Hi SDN
We are expriencing a problem with our "Shop" iView rendered via EP7. On a PC with the Sun JVM 1.4.2.10, when the Shop iView/Page loads, our users are havong a javascript error in their IE instance. I've started the JVM console and got this description of the error.
--> One funny thing, is that this error is not occuring if we are switching to the MS JVM embedded in IE...
Have you ever had that on your side? What can be done to fix this? We are on SRM 5.0 SP11.

IAC iview - Hiding Menu

Hi All,
I have an requirement to display SP02(spool request) in portal. I cant use transactional iviews and IAC iviews with ~WEGUI enabled. So i have created an IAC Iview with the property ~WEBGUI = 0. So that the user can open the transaction SP02 without sap launch pad. I created and its working fine.
My requirement is: I want to hide the Menu and title bar. i.e only the spool request should be displayed. Please help me in achieving this.

ERP plant number for SRM business partner

Hello,
how is it possible to replicate plants from ERP to SRM by using an external number range?
Example: Plant 0100 in ERP should be Business Partner 0100 in SRM
We have the issue that the replicated plants get new IDs from the internal business partner number range.
In Customizing we defined a corresponding number range set to external. A new grouping is set up linked to the number range object.

Hi everybody,
I closed this thread. In SAP SRM 7.0 there is no possibility to take over the plant numbers from ERP as Business Partner numbers. This would be an approvement for future EHPs of SRM.
We solved our issue by showing also the ERP Plant number in the Shopping Cart from Table BBP_LOCMAP. But this is an enhancement.
