SSRS Header (Fixed) is displaced when scrolling left to right

Hi,
I'm using Report Builder 3.0 for my SSRS. have a tablix report where I would like to have my row and column header fixed. I fixed the column header using the RowGroups>AdvancedMode>Static> Fixed Data True, KeepGroup After, RepeatHeader True
then FixedRowHeaders True for my row header. The headers are fixed ihen scrolling down in Report Builder although the row header overlaps when scrolling to the right.
In the web report, I have no problem scrolling down but when I scroll down then right, the rows in my header are displaced.
Also I have 2 horizontal and vertical scroll bars which is a pain since I have to scroll down first before I can scroll right.
I would really appreciate any help.

Hi Cielle,
Based on my understanding, you design a report on Report Builder 3.0 with fixed row header. When you scroll right, the fixed header works fine in Report Builder 3, however, the fixed header displaced on Report Manager.
In Reporting Service, if we choose “Header should remain visible while scrolling” option, generally, the column header will be displaced and visible as we scroll right. So please check if you select this item in Tablix Properties. If so, please unselect
this option then check if issue persists. Besides, as we tested in our environment, fixed row header works fine both on Report Builder 3.0 and Report Manager. Please refer to the screenshots below:
So in your scenario, I would like to know the detail settings for row headers and your report design. If possible, please provide some screenshots about scroll right results both on Report Builder 3.0 and Report Server.

Unstable screen distortion after startup - scrolls left to right rapidly

My Mac Mini (2.0/2GB/GMA 950) will not provide a stable screen after startup process completes - the screen rapidly scrolls left to right (possibly right to left, cant be sure) and the mouse pointer appears broken up until I move the mouse to the lower right corner of the display.
I can get a menu bar menu to drop down, then move the mouse to the corner to stabalize, then use the keyboard to active available commands - but any movement of the mouse cause the screen to resume the instability.
this only occurs after the initial staup process completes - the startup icons display normal until the loging window or desktop is displayed - then the display goes unstable, scrolling horizontially rapidly.
This occures in any display resolution I can access, with alternate mouse & keyboards, and even without mouse or keyboard. Also occurs after changing back to original 2x512 memory modules.
This also occurs with a clean statup from the original installation DVD as well as a 10.5 & 10.6 installation DVDs which suggests a Hardware failure.
However when I boot into Windows XP using the BootCamp partition the system behaves completely normal - no display problems what so ever.
Any suggestions on how to narrow this down to a software driver or hardware? Any notices from Aplle that relates to this to a hardware problem?

Hi. After a 'hard shutdown' - such as pulling the plug - the boot directory may be damaged. It may help to boot from the most recent system disc DVD that you have - could be the 10.4 retail disc - and use Disk Utility to Repair Disc

If Disk Utility finds errors it cannot repair, you could try DiskWarrior

You can boot from the DiskWarrior CD and run it - or download it to the laptop and run it, from the laptop, on the G5 internal boot drive, via firewire TDM

Oh - and if you are on 10.4.3 or higher - if Disk Utility on the system DVD repairs the boot drive ok, you may then wish to run the Disk Utility > Disk Verify (the one on the 10.4.3+ boot drive) - just to check. More Good Luck.

Shift+scroll no longer scrolls left and right!!

I have a logitech mouse w/ a scroll wheel
I have always been able to hold down shift to get the scroll wheel to scroll left and right instead of up and down
and it's suddenly stopped working and I have no idea why
can anyone help?

I THINK this is related to installation of a new logitech bluetooth mouse driver
that stinks. a logitech driver should only control the logitech mouse. it shouldn't affect how other mice work with the OS

I don't have a Magic Mouse, but there is probably a setting that enables and disables horizontal scrolling. Look on System Preferences Mouse pane.

It is possible in InDesign CS6, and frankly I would prefer it to the panning which I have used and is just not quite as convenient for what i am doing. I am scrolling through multiple pages not within a single page. it would just be nice to have the same functions in an "upgraded" version.

Breadboard will not scroll left or right.

I'm using Windows 7 on my computer, and that is definitely not what I'm seeing. However, if clicking the scroll wheel is showing the Alt-Tab flip, then Multisim will not be able to scroll. (It is a quite complicated, but if you are seeing the Alt-Tab flip, Multisim will never know that the scroll wheel was clicked.)
I did a quick search online to try to come up with why Windows might be intercepting the click. Do you have any Windows customization software installed, for example AutoHotKey? If not, are you able to scroll using the scroll wheel in other applications? For example, in Internet Explorer

Resize the window so you see scroll bars
Click the scroll wheel and you should see the icon highlighted by the red box in the image below. If you move your mouse around, the page should scroll.

I am trying to mirror my iPad 2 with my Apple TV . I hit the home button twice, scrolled through the app icons but still do not see the air play icon? I did check to confirm that both devices are on the same network.

Yes they are both on the same network and I enabled air play on the TV. I finally located the icon on my iPad last night and succeeded in mirroring. It seems the instructions from apple were confusing me. They said tap the home button twice and then scroll to the right. The icon however is on the left side of the screen and shows as what I would call a button as opposed to an icon, located among the buttons of a mini player. Anyway, found it last night and now am enjoying the mirroring feature. Thanks for all the help.

Freezing the Name column of the hierarchy when scrolling to the right.

In UCMON, the keys of the org hierarchy are frozen when you expand the task columns and scroll to the right. That way I could still see the keys of the organizations when processing the tasks far on the right.
How do I do the same for the names column? Is there a way to have the names column frozen as well so that I could still view the names next to the keys when processing those tasks?
Any advice is appreciated.

Mobile scroller -- adding arrows to scroll left or right

Hi, I have a scroller around an hgroup that holds a buttonbar. In a mobile app, the scroll bar does not display.
However, I'd like to have an arrow that displays on either side only if there are buttons to scroll to in that direction.
Also, the scroller is within the actionContent, if that makes any difference.
I'm not sure exactly how to go about this, any ideas or threads you can direct me to?
Here's the segment of code:

this works great and scrolls as it should, but I'd like to display arrows so that it is obvious to the user that there are more buttons to scroll to.

You'll probably want to look at changing the cardScroller.viewport.horizontalScrollPosition on the click handler of your arrow button.
You might want to look into the cardScroller.viewport.width and cardScroller.viewport.contentWidth to figure out whether the current scroll position is at the start or end of the Scroller.

No you're not the only one having this problem in fact many people are having it I spoke to Apple support today about it. First it is my opinion the aspect ratio is different on iPhone 4s compared to iPhone 5s, however I really feel it is a software issue. Just to make sure I am having the same problem you are I will describe my issue. I Have confirmed the following: if I Center an object on my iPhone 4s screen and open the picture while I am still in the app (open on the bottom left it)looks fine. But when I open camera roll and open that particular picture it's also fine
Until I scroll left or right it pulls the image to the left side appearing to cut off the left side of the image. After talking to Apple support today and my knowledge with Apple products I strongly suspect this is a software issue. Apple asked me to do a restore as a new phone but I'm not going to go through all that nonsense when I believe it's a software issue and not a hardware issue. So again to recap to answer your question you're not alone, theses sort of things are expected when they rollout a new iOS just hang in there and let's see if they put a patch out for next update.

If you want to order the records there are some Knowledge Module tweaks to specify an order by clause using the UD1 -> UD5 flags on a datastore. Search the forum or google for the code.
