LSMW Standard Batch Input Program

Hi,
I have one requirement on creating BOM.
I have to upload data from legacy system to SAP for T-Code ' CS01'
I have to use the Standard Batch input Program 'RCSBI010'.
I have source structure and Target Structure.
In Source structure i have Header and item data.
In Header i have 11 fields and in Item i have 23 fields.
In Target Structure i have upto 130 fields.
In the Standard program who have 4 structures and each structure have fields.
So How many fields i have to map with Standard structure. and in my source structure i dont have the fields like T-code, session name, user name,and xkeep.
So how to pass these fields (T-code, session name, user name,and xkeep) to the standard structure. and is it necessary to pass these fields to the standard batch input program.

The session header contains general administrative data on the batch input session to be created. All records that follow the header in the sequential file are assigned to the current session, until the next header occurs in the file.
Record type 1: one session record (structure BICSK) for each BOM
The BOM header record contains the transaction code (for example, CS01 Create material BOM) and the header data
Record type 2: one item record (structure BICSP) per item
All BOM item records are assigned to the preceding BOM header, until the next BOM header or session header occurs in the sequential file
Record type 3: one sub-item record (structure BICSU) per sub-item
All BOM sub-item records are assigned to the preceding BOM item, until the next item header, BOM header, or session header occurs in the sequential file
and x-line which will be used as index while retreiveing
and the file to be imported should contain values in this format
BGR00 data will be in first line (0-stype)
BICSK in second line (1 stype)
BICSP in 3rd line
BICSU in 4th line
e.g:
0 sessname 800
1 CS01 123
2 values req
3 values req

BAPI or Batch Input Program for FB01

I am trying to post invoice through transaction code FB01, i need a standard BAPI program or Batch Input Program for FB01 (except recording).

In the 'Specify Files' step,
1. give some short file name (about 20 Characters )
2. In the File option for 'Converted Data' option check the Logical path / logical file entries. Normally it is LSMW ( Logical Path ) and the same File name for logical file. If you do not have a Logical path 'LSMW' create one in Tx. FILE'.
3. Please note that you need authority to save the file on application server ( You can see the files on Appl. Server in Tx. AL11 ).

Batch input programs for infotypes

Hi Experts,
Can anyone tell me what is the use or how we can use the batch input programs for infotypes maintained in BTCI_PROG field of table T777D.

I dont think any data is maintained by default in the system for that field.
Still that field can be used if you want to develop any upload program for the infotype and want to maintain it for future use also, you can always maintain that.
But if you want to upload data in the infotypes and thinking that this field may help you with any load program..........
Write one using HR_MAINTAIN_MASTERDATA for that.

LSMW for routing with standard batch input

I am trying to prepare one LSMW for routing upload for PP module. Routing data contains header data, operation data and master inspection characteristics data.
I have created three source structures viz. material- task list header, task header data, operation and inspection.
Header has been assigned to target structure BIMPL- Batch Input Structure for Allocation of Mat. to Task Lists,
Task header data source structure has been assigned to BIPKO- Batch Input Structure for Task List Header,
Operation source structure has been assigned to target structure BIPPO- Batch input structure for task list operation,
and inspection source structure has been assigned to BIPMK- Inspection characteristics for batch input of task lists.
Every source structure has been identified with an identifier value of which have been set as H, I,J,K for all source structures resp.
The excel file has been prepared as follows,

I have mentioned here the combination of first two structures only. But it contains data of other two source structures as well (for identifier J & K).
The data from the excel is copied to the flat file and same is specified in LSMW in the step 'Specify file'.
In 'Assign file' step the flat file is assigned to all the four source structure.
Now at the time of reading data system is throwing me an error as 'Ensure field sequence is correct for data for mutiple source structures' Message no. /SAPDMC/LSMW_OBJ_060026
How to overcome this?

LSMW Routing Standard Batch Input Create Batch Input Session

Hello All,
I am using LSMW for routing upload, using standard batch input method. Program RCPTRA01.
I am facing this quite peculiar problem.
I have tried first with separate text file for every source structure. Everything works fine till convert data step.
But when I go for 'Create Batch Input Session' it creates session for tables MAPL, PLKO, PLPO, PLMZ, PLMK. Other tables remain balnk (EAPL, PLFL, PLAB, PLFH, PLPH, PLFT, PLFV, PLWP). Because of this while running the session only the header and material assignment to task list get uploaded. Rest data, operation, MIC, component allocation do not get uploaded.
I have also tried for one text file for multiple structure. In that I face porblem for BDC creation. While debugging I faced th same thing in this also.
Could anyone please explain me the soution for this? Do I need to amend any progrm fior this?

I am preparing LSMW for routing upload along with inspection characteristics with standard batch input method.
At the time of 'Create batch input session' I am facing an error 'BDC_INSERT, screen .&. is invalid'.
I have checked the forums for the same issue but it wasn't fruitful. However I cam across one thread which mentions to ensures the data in falt file, which I did checke and confirmed.
What could be the reason?

To solve,I filled BI001-TCODE with 'QP01' (constant) in Maintain Field Mapping and Conversion Rules.

BDC - Session Method - No batch input data for screen SAPMZ_TPSCREEN02 100

Hi ABAP Experts,
I have written a Dialog Program For a Screen Which contains 5 fields namely,
carrid,
connid,
fldate,
price,
planetype.
I have written the PAI logic to insert whatever entries entered in the fields, into Database Table SFLIGHT.
I created a Transaction and Tested whether the entries are succesfully entetered into the Database Table and it works just fine.
Now i planned to write a BDC program for the above Transaction so that i can upload data to the Database table from a flat file.
I went to SHDB transaction and created a new recording and transferred the program to generate a source code.

Then i defined an internal table which contains the same fields as those in my Screen and Transaction.
I populated the internal table from a flat file using GUI_UPLOAD function module.
I want to clarify - I got this flat file by using the GUI_DOWNLOAD module and later i uploaded the same file using GUI_UPLOAD.
I tested whether the internal table is populated or not using LOOP AT ITAB. WRITE Statements.
Its working just fine.

I checked for errors, activated and executed.
I gave session name and executed, it generated same number of sessions as number of records.
I went to SM35 and Processed one of the sessions in foreground.
It brought my screen up with all fields fill up by the fields of first record in the internal table and with
OK Code popping up.
I check the OK Code.
Now the problem has come up, its says
*No batch input data for screen SAPMZ_TPSCREEN02 1000 *
My session was now incorrectly processed,
Please help me to fix this problem.
I searched so many forums and google it a lot.
But i didn't find any clue.

I used this code to convert the date format. I'm still getting the short dump.

No batch input data for screen SAPLKEAK 0300

Hi All ,
I am getting "No batch input data for screen SAPLKEAK 0300 " error while Posting a parked document.
When I checked the Park Document , I saw that Profitability Segment was missing.
Document is parked using standard FM "PRELIMINARY_POSTING_FB01" after that BDC is executed to fill Profitability segment.
Both FM and BDC are written in a custom FM. This FM is scheduled in a Job to run everyday and Park all the available Documents .
Everything used to work fine for last 2 years but suddenly since last month I am starting getting this error.
It does not happen for all the documents . And for the document for which it happens, if I try to park and post it again using the same process . It works fine.
It looks as if something obstruct the normal parking process when SAP job is running but I am not able to find out the reason.
Any pointers would be appriciated.

Rahul,
Why don't you try to debug the background program? Use JDBG on the BG job and change the call transaction to display ALL SCREENS or ERROR ONLY and see where the issue is.

No batch input data for screen SAPMSSY3 0131 in Sales order IDOC

I am processing Sales order IDOCS in status 64 using RBDAPP01 .Some of them error out to status 51 with the message -
No batch input data for screen SAPMSSY3 0131 .
I know the standard IDOC inbound process tries to simulate the posting in a BDC like process.
Now, I went to we19 and the screen hangs up in a pop up in the partners tab with partner type 'WE' and my shipto (which is actually filled in the IDOC), missing..upon repeatedly hitting enter, it goes thru and an idoc is posted in status 53. But still unable to get through the root of this issue.
Any, insight will help.

I think the pop-up is generated through and user-exit for which recording is missing. This is why your idoc stays in status 64...

Error in LSMW for MM41 - "No batch input data for screen SAPLMGMW 0100"

I'm trying to create an LSMW for MM41 to create new Retail articles en Mass. This will be used to only create the Basic view as other LSMW's already exist to maintain the other views. I've created the Recording and setup the LSMW already. My data is read correctly from the source file. When I execute the batch session it fails with the following error - "No batch input data for screen SAPLMGMW 0100".
I assume the fields in MM41 screen are not setup for batch processing. Could someone with more knowledge or experience in SAP Retail please confirm my assumption and explain where this is setup or provide an alternative to creating new articles en Mass via MM41? The direct input method is more suited for MM01 and not MM41.

Hi Guys,
Thanks so much for all the prompt responses. My issue is now resolved.
The issue, I'm sure, was my default settings in the MM41 screen which the recording probably took into account or the batch program didn't like. I deleted my recording and created a new one but before I started the recording, I went into the MM41 screen and removed all default values AND view selections. I made my Basic view selection constant in my recording and also in my field mapping. My LSMW for MM41 is now working perfectly.
Just to answer some of the questions above, my LSMW was Reading and Converting the data in my source file fine. When I display the Read and Converted data, it shows the data fields in the correct place.

     I am facing a problem while uploading Invoice data and to hold the data in miro transaction I am getting the error
     "no batch input data for screen SAPLMR!M 6220 " . It is for non PO data only I am facing this problem using BDC.
     But for Po based Invoice I am getting Invoice number while holding the Invoice. I am Using SHBDB to record the
      transaction   details
    Please give me some solution regrading this.

            I am doing it in same transaction MIRO for both PO and NON-PO. I am able to generate an Invoice number while holding   the Invoice For NON-PO taking vendor as invoice Party .While I am recording it in SHDB and trying to use the
same in my BDC Programe it is throughing this error and also by testing the program which has been generated by the
SHDB trnasaction i am getting the same Error . Is there any diferrent trnasaction that is used to hold NON_PO invoice ?
Where Invoice number will be generated automatically ?

I have developed a report where i need to upload (old and new)incoterms,payment terms,document type and update in the table ekko with my new values (incoterms,payment terms and document type).
Problem :For this report i have uploaded the excel sheet and values are getting uploaded into my internal table.but when using bapi_agreement_maintain to update the ekko table ,in return table its showing No batch input data for screen SAPMSSY3 0131.
Anyone please give the reason/solution to solve the problem.

Hi,
screen SAPMSSY3 0131 is the debugging screen so if you have any break-points in any of the transactions remove the breakpoint and check.
Basically this BAPI is calling a transaction to execute a transaction in no dialog mode so if you have break-points in any of those program you will face this issue.

This normally means that you are trying to insert data on a screen for which a particular field is not available.
So check screen number, screen fields and report name. In case of screen fields, use F1, F9 (technical information), and check the name of the screen field for batch processing (all the way at th bottom of the pop-up). This can differ from actual name of the screen field.
If all this is ok, try to create a recording of the transaction with SM37.
