Standard price of material to be included in pricing procedure

Hi Gurus,
Can I include the standard price of material from material master in my pricing procedure? If yes, how? Also, I want to tax 7% of this material in the pricing procedure. Can I configure a condition type this way?

HI John,
         1. Please maintain the condition type VPRS in your pricing procedure, the standard cost from Material master will come in to your pricing procedure.
        2. If you want to maintain tax in your pricing procedure you need to maintain Tax related condition type Ex: MWST and you create condition record for that condition type in VK11
        Define Tax procedure and assign to country (Please take help of FI people)
        Maintain Taxcode at FTXP

Process will not be created with zero standard prices in material master

Hi,
I have two type of material;
1. In process material say A1
2. Finished Goods say B1
Both materials price control are standard price. I do not run costing. So , after creation of material master , standerd price has to update through MR21 in the account1 tab before start production .
Suppose, if I forget to update standard price in material master and prepared process order, it will carry zero value of production cost.
Hence, I want to restrict the creation of process order with zero standard prices in the material master.
In order words, as long as standard price will not be updated after creation of the material master, user will not be allowed to create process order, if wrongly try, system will give message u201Cwith zero standard price creation of process order will not be allowedu201D.
Please let me know either standard configuration or name of User exit or Badi.

You need to use BADI: workorder_update.
Method: At release.
check MBEW-STPRS field in the code ..and flag error and reject error if STPRS = 0.

Standard Price in material master and MBEW

Hi
We have unique problem. The currency was setup with out decimal places due to some valid reason. Due to which STANDARD PRICE in MATERIAL MASTER looks alright (lets say 1000) but in MBEW(field STPRS) it is 10.
I would like use value which is in Material master for calculations in ABAP program. How can i achieve this? Is there any function module for the same so that I can convert value in MBEW-STPRS to value in material master.

Try to use the following FM's:
CONVERT_MATPR_TO_MBEW_MTPER
use the BAPI "BAPI_MATERIAL_GET_DETAIL" and take the price from the Export parameter MATERIALVALUATIONDATA. This parameter points to the structure BAPIMATDOBEW which has all the material price details like :
Price control indicator
Moving average price/periodic unit price
Standard price
Price Unit
Currency Key
ISO code currency

How to view previous standard price in material master?

Dear expert,
in material master Costing tab 2, i can view the current and future cost estimate price. but i want to view the previous month standard cost estimate price in material master?
For these, is there any configuration setting needed?

When you re-release a Std Cost - The Future cost would become the CURRENT cost and the Existing curent cost would become the PREVIOUS cost.... You can then see the Previous cost estimate in material master

Why can't I create a report for standard price by material

Any ideas? All reporting I have tried in SQO1 and even in SE16 returns 0 value for standard prices?
Firstly why is this? and secondly is there another way I can pull a report by material showing standard price?

In MM60, u can get report for materials having standard & moving average price based on ur input in selection screen like material,plant,material type,material group & created by only. As of my knowledge,
there is no option to get list of materials with standard price in std.SAP.
There are two options to generate report for materials with standard price.
1. It is better go for customization . selection screen must contains price control field. if u enter price control like 'S' or 'V' in intial screen , report is generated.
2. create a ABAP query for this.

Standard Price in Material Ledger

Dear Gurus,
On one hand we need to update on finished products (manufactured) a standard cost estimate (CK11N or CK40N) in order to analyse variances on the corresponding production orders (during period en closing with KKS2 transaction), on another hand, because we are implementing material ledger component, we would like to update the standard price of these finished products with the periodic unit price (PUP) with CKME transaction.
The problem is that the system returns an error when we try to release the price with the PUP,
CKPRCH "A current or future standard price exists for material &".

I suspect standard price can only be saved once for any period. You can make use of the other price fields in the material master to store different prices

My customer (a cement producer) purchase a rohmaterial (bone) and get mony for it, so that the quantity on stock is positiv but the total-value negatic;
--> standard price negativ.
Do somebody have a solution???

Use MR21 Tcode and change the moving average price if u have a stock means no problem bcaz in the OBYC T code Cost (price) differences- PRD u have to give the G/L account and that value goes to that account. System Does not allow to change the price in MM02 Transaction. U must do it in MR21 only.

in the Table MBEW und Field STPRS ther is the actual standard preis.
We actualise (change) the preis every Friday. It means we have another price on saturday
How can I see the Preis from wednesday on saturday. It's there any table for change history where i can get the last price.

IMG- MM- Purchasing - Conditions- Define price determination process-
Define condition type- Select ur condition type(PBXX or PB00)- In condition there is option "Cond.Category" here put T or S.
Then create PO system automaticaly pick ur MAV or standard price from Material master.

Standard price for FERT, it is assumed that the FERT material is in_house produced and is subject to costing, that is price will be subjected to changes due to reasons which are internal. for example Inhouse cost run, manual change or costing during confirmation. This price becomes the basis for sales of teh product, where we further add other expenses like transport/insurance/ handling or any other cost before sellling it.
Moving Avg price means that the material is subject to price Variations due to Procurement or trading activity as it is a Finished material. If only activity would have been Trading then might be HAWA could have been the solution, since Procurement is involved the Moving Price indicator is there for weighted avg price updation of the material.

How can i update material master standard price.

i would like to know if there is any way i can update my MM Std Price everytime i make any purchase.
I.e i have std price 40, but next time when i make PO and update Inforec for 70 so i want this 70 also take effect in my material master. Is any expert can tell me about this functionality or any alternate. would be great help

If you are using std prices then these do not vary unless someone is manually changing them (or using a program to do this). That is the main point of std prices, they do not change unless you change them yourself.
MAP and standard prices are used in material master and it has nothing to do with price with which you will sell your customer.
MAP and Standard prices will just hit you inventory account and COGS account once you will do PGI.
I am assuming that you are talking about the price at which you sell to your customer.The easy way of tracking changing prices is that you can make them manual conditions and based on your information you can put them manually in your sales order.
It is not recommended to change standard price constantly. At this period end, modify the standard price in material Master & continue.
This can be a regulr activity at period ends, say every month end or quater end or half yearly or yearly. In general it is prctices on yearly basis, but as per the requirement you can consider the period.

Primarily, You cannot maintain both Standard Price & MAP. You can maintain only one of it.
It is recommended that standard price should not be changed at randomly, but as a policy, if required, it should be changed at period end, say monthly, quaterly, Half-yearly or yearly.
