Standard Value Calculation with CAP
Hello Seniors,
is anyone able to tell me more about CAP (Computer Aided Planning) in regard to the task lists of the routing.
We are planning to develop this in a textile company in connection with SAP IS-AFS.
Any information is welcome,
Thanks!
it is called CAPP
The std value cann be calculated by CAPP depending on the machine charetcistics value
You need to maintain some of the masterv data
Please go through the link below
and come with yr question doubts

CAPP - standard value calculation origin 9 function module CE22.
Dear,
I've a project where i need to calculate standard value time based on multiple and various criteria. (standard price of a all components assigned to one operation)
I've seen that it should be possible to calculate a characterisitic value based on a function module in a method. (characterisitic value origin 9 - function module).
When i try to use the method with a function module I get a dump. ( CALL_FUNCTION_PARM_MISSING).
I don't find any documentation on the usage of a function module. as origin for CAPP.
Could you please help me ?
Br,
Daniel.There are so many threads and documentation available on the same..Please search the same.
Moreover if you share the error then it would be easy to know the exact problem

Hi ,
I have created one new standard value key with four parameters,
In one of the parameters formula was missing,
i have entered it in Standard value key and trasported to producction and used it in Work Center.
Now my issue is, due to missing formula the system is showing error in my order creation , it's 100% right and acceptable,
But , the same error is howing in PS , PM order, where this Standard value is not all used,
in PS,PM standard value key is SAP0( no standard values), why it is happening as i m not using the new Std value key in PS/PM
Regards,
PavanHi,
this is an error message,
In PM/PS order we are using different stndard value key,
This parameter is not at all used in those Standard keys, i have check every thing, that is what my confusion, Y it is throwing
error

Hi,
Any one can help me in this to solve.
I have a doubt in Defining Parameters section [ECC 5.0]. Transaction Code is OP7B]. The building block document shows the following data to configure the parameters, which follows:
Parameter Origin Parameter Text Keyword Dimension Standard Value unit
CP_001 Max Cap KG Max Capacity in KG 1 MASS KG
ORIGIN
Origin for the parameter must be a STANDARD VALUE or WORK CENTER CONSTANT.
Doubt 1:
How can I choose the Origin types for Parameters?
Doubt 2:
If I choose the Standard Value of Operation as the Origin, How can I determine the Standard Value for the following?
If I choose the Work Center as Constant in the origin, how can I choose the corresponding Field in Field Name?Hi,
1. Formulas are used for calculating the scheduling , costing and capacity planning.
2. Formula Parameters are are used in fromulas and is identified by a parameter id.
3.Every formula parameter is linked with a particular field either customising routing or in work center.
4.When the formula is evaluated the parameter tales the value of the field.
Formula parameters origin:
Blank -- general operational value
1. --- work center constant
2 --- standard value in the operation
3. --- user defined fielsd from the operation
4. --- value from the PRT allocation
5. PRT Constant
6. general formula constant

Formula to fill standard value in RC operation
Hello,
We are using serial number effectivty parameter . We were asked to fill one of the standard values of the RC operation , using a formula, thus each serial number will contain a different value, that will be calculated according to to formula.
For example: S.N 1 will contain the value 20 , S.N 2 will contain the value 19.7, S.N 3 will contain the value 19.4 etc.
Is there any standard way to do it?
Thanks,
EtiDear,
Please elaborate ur que since its not getting cleared.Regarding serial nos i think u have created serial nos profile and assign it in ur work sch view.What exact req u have regarding std value formula for operation with serial nos.What is this RC operation.

How can we Restict the Char single value Variables with , , =
Hi Experts,
How can we Restict the Char value Variables with <, >, <= (without selecting Inverval or only passing single value)
For Example
We have a standard Query 0FIAR_C03_Q1005, in this
New Selection
"1 - 15 Days, Posting Date<=Key Date, Clearing Date>Key Date"
This is restricted with the
Clearing(0CLEAR_DATE)
<Clearing key date(0P_KEYD3) It is a single value SAP Exit Varible
PostingDate(0PSTNG_DATE)
<= Posting keydate(0P_KEYD3) It is a single value SAP Exit Varible
When seeing these 0P_KEYD3, 0P_KEYD3 variables in the New selection screen they looks like >0P_KEYD3, <=0PSTNG_DATE
if you define any custom variables these are looks like =ZV_DATE.
to enable < , >, <= symbols for variables what we need to do.
In other way
Say we created one variable ZV_DATE single value, processing type as customer exit.
for this we populated current day,
Now Requirement is we need to display the all the records which are <= current date,
instead of passing low and high values, i want to restrict the calday <=ZV_DATE
New selection
0calday
<=ZV_DATE
How can we achive this, this is how the business content report having the restrictions
Please sugget me.
Thanks
Chandra

Edited by: Chandra Gandla on Jun 18, 2010 11:01 AMOk,
In the InfoObject 0calday in the query designer under the filter area, under characteristic restrictions right-click over that InfoObject (0calday).
In the next window (select Values for [0CALDAY] Calendar Day in the dropdown box for "Show" choose Value Ranges. Under the word "Between" dropdown box select "Less than or equal to"
Below that word click on the button of the dropdown box Select from list.
In the new window select instead of History Variables and double-click on your variable ZV_DATE.
Click on the right blue arrow to move it to the right.
And there you go.
Tip: It exists a SAP standard variable named 0DAT which is exactly the current date (don't need to use ZV_DATE variable).

Unit of measure for Standard Value.
Hi Gurus
I have maintained Standard value LABOR in workcenter and maintain deafault value for unit of measure in workcenter Default tab .
But that unit of measure is not defaulted in routing when i put some value.Hi Mayuresh,
When you insert a work center in the routing, the defaults specified in the Default Values tab gets copied into the operation. The Standard Value Units get copied to the Standard Value fields (1 to 6) i.e. eg: In work center you have specified the Standard Value key as SAP1 which has the fileds - SETUP, MACHINE & LABOR, then in the operations if you scroll, you will find 3 columns named as SETUP, MACHINE & LABOR with the Standard Value Unit which you have maintained in the Work Center - Default Value tab. You can edit these UoM in the routing though.
The same holds good when you assign the work center directly in a production order, you can edit the values in the StandadVals tab of the Operation.
Hope the above answers your query.

Preference calculation with batch management
Hi experts,
I am trying to find any documentation or manuals about how to set-up and use preference calculation in SAP-SD-FT or GTS based on batch management.
Does anyone of you know how to do it and use such kind of "standard"-SAP-solution or is customer-specific programming essential.
Any reply would be much appreciated.
Best regards,
CorinneHi Corinne,
Did you get anything for your requirement specific to Preference calculation with batch management. I am also looking for the same. let me know if you found something useful or if you created an enhancement to resolve this issue.

How to determine the value of a Standard Value in a routing operation
Dear Experts,
Kindly guide me on how to detemine the value of my Standard Value in the operation of my routing, or in the phase of my Master Recipe.
I mean what determines the value that I enter for the Standard Values: Machine and Labor in the phase of my Master Recipe?Hi,
In the Routing / Master Recipe, the standard values are based on the lot size.
For Example, if you have the lot of 100 KG, then in recipe the machine time will be 2 hr and labor time will be 2 hours, it means to make 100 KG we require 2 hrs of machine and 2 hrs of labor.
Normaaly all production manager / supervisor will have the date for the hours. The system will calculate will respect to batch / lot size.
If you have order for 1000 KG, then the system will assign 20 hrs for Machine and 20 hrs for labor.
This will be used for Capacity planning and Costing.
Capacity plan here your requirement is 20 hrs for machine and labor. If you have a reacto which wil run for 24 hrs a day, then the order will be completed in a day.
Costing is concerned, all std. valur key will be assigned with an activity type in work center / Resources and the prices for activity type / cost center will be maintained in KP26.
Based on the cost and hours, the system will allocate cost for the order (it will be planned cost). When you are confirming the order you will enter the actual time for the operation, then that will be your actual cost.
Pl do a sample test scenario in your sand box, and surely you will understand more.
The data for Routing / Recipe will be provided by the production manager of the plant and activity price will be provided by the finance team.
Thanks,
JK -
There are some posts to this topic, but I couldn't find a satisfying solution to this.
Simply example for what I am looking for a solution: The fronpanel includes one numeric input element. I start the VI, change the value of the numeric input element to an other value and than stop the VI. The next time I start the VI I want the numeric element to have the value that it had when the VI was stoped. Preferably, I want the value of the numeric element be setted up as "standard-value" when I push a button (see the example attached).
Thanks.
Solved!
Go to Solution.
Attachments:
Frontpanel_SaveAsStandard.vi 8 KBI put together a very basic example, which should give you the idea. Find it attached (this subVI only works with doubles).
Of course the toolkits which Sam_Sharp mentioned are much more "pro" solutions with much more options...

Values dinamically with custom components
Hi everyone, i have a problem with flex, i developed a main aplication in witch i have added a container (sesionGroup), also i did a custom component witch contains one button and one label. the main application creates several components dinamically using the custom component with values assigned dinamically by an external xml file, this is the code of the main application:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<s:Application xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009"
xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark"
xmlns:mx="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/halo"
minWidth="1024" minHeight="768"
creationComplete="init()">
<fx:Declarations>
<s:HTTPService id="sesionService" url="PHPClases/sesiones.php"
resultFormat="object" result="sesionService_resultHandler(event)"/>
</fx:Declarations>
<fx:Script>
<![CDATA[
import mx.collections.ArrayCollection;
import mx.controls.Alert;
import mx.rpc.events.ResultEvent;
import spark.components.VGroup;
public var grupoSesion:sesion;
public var cont:int=0;
[Bindable]
public var sesionDatos:ArrayCollection;
public function init():void
sesionService.send();
protected function sesionService_resultHandler(event:ResultEvent):voi d
sesionDatos=event.result.sesiones.sesion;
var i:int=event.result.sesiones.sesion.getItemAt(0).fi las;
while(cont<i)
grupoSesion=new sesion();
grupoSesion.nombreSesion=event.result.sesiones.ses ion.getItemAt(cont).nombre;
grupoSesion.indexSesion=cont.toString();
grupoSesion.name=cont.toString();
grupoSesion.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK,most rarEventos);
sesionGroup.addElementAt(grupoSesion,cont);
cont++;
public function mostrarEventos(event:MouseEvent):void
Alert.show();
]]>
</fx:Script>
<s:VGroup id="sesionGroup" x="270" y="150">
<s:Label id="prueba"/>
</s:VGroup>
</s:Application>
And this is the code of the custom component
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<s:Group xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009"
xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark"
xmlns:mx="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/halo" width="400" height="20">
<fx:Script>
<![CDATA[
[Bindable]
public var nombreSesion:String;
[Bindable]
public var indexSesion:String;
]]>
</fx:Script>
<s:Button id="sesionButton"
label="{nombreSesion}"/>
<s:Label text="{indexSesion}"/>
</s:Group>
Like you can see i have added for each component one event clic, and i want that when a user clic one component the red alert of the main aplication shows him the value of the selected component, for example, if a user clic the first component it must show 0 (or 1), if the user clic the second component it must show 1 (or 2), etc. I have found other ways like getChilindex and others but those give me the same result for all the components, the value of the first or the last component.
If you can help me i thank you much, and thanks for your attention.I've gotten to where it will display the model values but each tag's components are displaying the value of the first item in the data model.
It looks like there is only one instance of my custom component being constructed. Why would this be happening? I would think that for each row in the datatable, there would be one instance of my custom component. Here's the relevant fragment from the jsp.
<h:panelGrid id="anotherGrid" columns="1">
<h:dataTable id ="TwoStringList" value="#{TwoStringList.model}" var="twoStringBean">
<h:column>
<myTags:twoString value="#{twoStringBean}"/>
</h:column>
<h:column>
<h:commandButton value="#{twoStringBean.simpleResponse}"/>
</h:column>
</h:dataTable>
</h:panelGrid>
There is only one 'twoString' component created. The text for the command button is correctly displaying the simpleResponse field for the underlying model row to which it is bound. My component binds to the bean itself, not one of its fields. It does the work of setting the contained standard values. -
Problem with CAPI routines get_date|num|char_value
Hi CDM Ruleframe users,
I created the following testscript
(table a (id number,begindate date))
begindate is initial 01-01-2000 for id=1
1) update table a set begindate= sysdate
2) rollback.
3) app_a_capi.get_date_value
In the debug monitor i log the data value this routine returns. This routine returns the new value of the date value (sysdate) instead of the old one(01-01-2000)!
Is this because the built-in cache of the CAPI is not working properly?
We are using CDM Ruleframe with CAPI generator v 6.0.2.1.
Kind regards,
Jan-Derk Weitering
nullJan-Derk,
It is technically not possible to rollback the CAPI cache (stored in package variables) just by issueing a database rollback command. There is no ON ROLLBACK database trigger to catch the event.
If you want to do a rollback in a CDM RuleFrame environment, you should always call qms_transaction_mgt.abort_transaction instead. This combines rollback with clean up of transaction management, clears all business rules from the rule stacks and clears all messages from the cg$errors message stack.
After this, it is possible that the CAPI cache still contains the wrong value, but no business rule code will look at it because there is no open transaction anymore. When a new DML action is performed, the CAPI cache is cleared (with each DML action, the CAPI compares the current transaction id to the previous transaction id).
I hope this explains it,

Hi,
I am having a sync problem between my iPhone/iPad and Outlook calendar events (Outlook 2010).
Here is the description of the problem:
1. In Outlook - please create a new event/appointment (e.g. "Test").
2. Reminder is set by default to 15 minutes. You can change it by using a dropdown menu - please select: "0,5 days".
3. Click on "0,5 days" and change it manually to "14,5 days".
4. Click on "Save & Close".
5. (Do not snooze or dismiss the reminder.)
6. Sync with your iPhone/iPad.
7. Open this new event on iPhone/iPad - you can see that alert is set to "15 minutes before" instead to a correct value that was set in Outlook.
The same problem can be seen if you set the reminder to e.g. "3 weeks" (standard value is "2 weeks").
However, it is interesting that non-standard values like "1,5 days" (and all other until "13,5 days") are synced without any problem.
Does anyone have a solution how to solve this problem (different than the trivial solution of not using those strange values)?
Thanks!Thanks to another post (https://discussions.apple.com/message/17501071#17501071) I reset the sync history, here is what to do:
Launch iTunes.
Before you hook up your iPhone to the PC and iTunes do this: Go to iTunes Edit menu > Preferences… > select the iPhone > click the Reset Synch History button > click OK.
Connect the iPhone to the PC and let iTunes recognize it.
In the top right corner is the iPhone icon, click on the left side of the iPhone icon > the iPhone menu launches.
In the menu along the top click on Info > make your selections > click Sync button > it gives you a dialog at the top with the steps it’s going through during the sync.
In the top left of the iTunes app > click Exit. -
How Achieve timedseries calculations with out using AGO And ToDate function
Hi,,
1)
How Achieve timedseries calculations with out using AGO And ToDate functionion
this question asking in interview ..is it possible..?
if yes please response as soon as possible..
2) i have 2 cloumns Product and value...
client requirement is they need ranks based on Value ..in dashboard .using dashboard prompt..edit box...if user enter any number (ex :5 ) report should show top 5 ranks if he enter 20 should be top 20 ranks..
how to achive this ?
thanks,
rajConsider yor first question:
1. Yes, we can create timeseries measures without using AGO and TODATE
1. Create ALIAS of fact tabe in the physical layer
2. Join the Time id from the ALIAS fact table with the YAGO_MONTH_ID column from your time dimension table (For calculating Year Ago variants) similarly join with MAGO_MONTH_ID column for Month Ago measures.
3.Pull the ALIAS tables as an additional Logical table source in the Lgical layer
4.Keep the mapping of the columns from the ALIAS table as its is
5. For e.g If you pick Revenue from the Year Ago Alias table it will give you the "Prior Year Revenue"
See if this helps you
