Status Change for Purchase order in Process Purchase order

Hi All,
We have implemented SRM 4.0 with Extended Classic scenario.
SRM does provide standard status for Process Purchase order worklist (such as Ordered, Held, Error in Process etc.). Is there any BADI i can use to overright my own status message for the PO.
To give brief background of the requirement. Client wanted status to be changed to "Cancel" For POs whose all the line items we have deleted or "Close" when Last delivery or Final Invoice check is ticked.
I am aware that i can use BBP_DOC_SAVE_BADI as structure BBP_PDS_ITEM i can get items deletion indicator. But will i able to change the standard Status message?
Presently even though all line items marked delete still shows PO as "Ordered" status.
Kindly let me know if i can acheive with anyway.
Thank you
Ritesh

Hi Masa,
Thank you for your response. I have few doubts about the configuration which you have suggested.
- Define Status schema for User status will create a status Profile in which i have to include my own status. In the document of Define Status Schema it specifies that After creating User profile you have to assign same profile to transaction types. (I.e. BUS2201 or BUS2121 etc).
My concern is will my own status profile over-write the standard status which is coming? such as Ordered, Created, Transmission fail etc.
If so then do i have to create status profile to include all the Standard Status message in it as well?
- Other thing i found that Ordering PO goes through many standard status message (COMP, CRTD, CTRA, DCOM, ORDR) and always the last status in the Hearder will display on  ITS level. Is my understanding right?
- I found that there is a standard system status message I1045 (BECN Cancel) Can i use this through BADI?
Kindly let me know.
Thank you once again.
Regards
Ritesh

  • How to use the selection profile and status profile for production order?

    Hi expert,
I want to know how to use the selection profile and status profile for production order. what's the usage for these two selection profile and status profile ?
      Please help me.
      thanks in advance.
      george.shi

    Hi George,
There are are two types of statuses. One is system status and second one is user status. These statuses will tell us current situation of an order.
We can't change system statuses. But we can create our own statuses through status profile. With this profile we can control user statuses.
    In this status profile,
1.We define the sequence in which user statuses can be activated,
    2.We define initial statuses
    3. Allow or prohibit certain business transactions.
Selection profiles are used to select the objects (say production orders) with different status combinations. We assign status profiles to selection profiles in BS42 T-Code.

  • How to monitor the status change of pp order?

I want to monitor all of the status change of PP order ,when the status change to DLV, system trigger a idoc to legacy system.
I added some code in EXIT_SAPLCOBT_001, but I found this user exit only working in CO02, when I use MIGO or MB1C ... tcode to do some GR, the source code is not woking, that means I have to add the code to any entrance of status change????? anybody have some good idea? maybe I have to add a monitor to monitor the table jest ????

Could you elaborate your requirement please?
Anyways, the BP transaction display/change mode can be controlled through settings. Goto BP->Extras->Settings->Choose Display/Change/Setting last selected. May be in your system, the setting is 'Setting last selected'. That's why it's showing the last status display/change. If you want it to be display only, you can change the setting to display. But, the settings are user specific and any changes made will reflect for the specific user.

  • Status change from 'Completed' to 'In Process' not allowed

When configuring Appraisals in R/3 we want to change the  Status of 'Completed' when pressing the 'Reject' button so that it moves to the Target Status of 'In Process'
However, we are getting an error message:
Status change from 'Completed' to 'In Process' not allowed
The SAP help states the following:
In Process (only if final appraisal or part appraisal is defined)
This has been defined at Template Level.
So I don't understand why we are getting the message.
Does any one else know of a way to configure the Appraisal template so that after it has been 'Rejected' it moves back into 'In Process'
    Thanks

    Hello Andreas,
Ah, sorry, there was so much talk about user decisions that I assumed you were using a standard decision task.
Still, I would be extra careful of changing the way workflow usually works because you have an unknown target audience that are based on the standard.
The standard SAP philosophy is quite simple: cancel/F3 or do nothing and it stays reserved. If you do not want it reserved, you need to perform an action. This is based on a majority of processes: in most cases when you execute a work item you will also be the one who is going to completed it. Replacing it is the lesser used of the two alternatives, therefore it is the only one that requires an action on the part of the user.
Again, this is intended as constructive input. Strange quirks and unusual behaviour tend to add a black mark to software if they do not make things easier to use. In many environments users are not even aware of the reserve/replace business, so there you would be adding an additional layer of complexity.
Personally I would find an exit popup annoying as a regular workflow user - regular decisions can be approved with one click, or I can back out with a single click if I need to make a phone call or look up some info before approving - but with this new-fangled thing I've got an extra button to click and an extra thing to think about. This is especially the case in a payment approval scenario where you may have users in some departments who may approve hundreds of payments each week.
My suggestion would be to leave it like that. By all means put an option into the user decision to put it back or to 'un-reserve' it (and loop round if the user chooses it). That way you are adding value and not clicks.
    Cheers,
    Mike

  • User Status Profile for Purchase order

    hi
Can any one help me how to created user statuses other than system status for Purchase order? where to assign it to PO document type.
    Rajendra

    Dear Rajendra,
I'm not sure there a standard field for user status in PO, you have to custom it, but it's not recommended.Perhaps u should check what if the critical use for this user status before u    continue to custom.

  • Overall processing status issue for sales order regarding services

    Hello,
I have the following issue. I am billing a standard service (service without delivery) to a customer. The process goes ok, I issue an invoice, post it and generate an accounting document. Then I create a cancellation invoice. Now I want to reject my sales order. I assign reason for rejection to the item. The header and item status says it is u2018fully rejectedu2019, but the overall processing status says the sales order is u2018openu2019 and therefore appears in reports regarding open orders. I gave also a billing block, deleted the schedule line for the service so that the ordered quantity for the item equals to u20180u2019, but still the overall processing status of the order is u2018openu2019. This is standard SAP functionality (as I checked it). So can anyone explain me how to change this status to exclude this order from open order list? Or maybe someone may want to explain me why this is standard SAP process and what is the reason for the system to want to keep my order u2018openu2019?
    Thanks in advance,
    BR,|

Place the reason for rejection in the status tab at item level, we are doing same, and the order lines does not show in open lines .

  • Report of List of all status changes for various production orders at a tim

    Hi,
Can I have a standard report which shows the dates of each and every status (user & system) of a production order.
I need to have a report for a list of productio orders at a time.
If we go to CO03, header menu, status changes option is there, but it only caters for single production order.
Table JCDS is available to know the dates but I need a standard one rather than a Z development.
Or you can guide me any function module.
    Thanks,
    Kumar

    Hello,
You will get the details of status in following table.
    JEST - for object status
    JSTO - Status Profile
TJ02T - to Decode the status Number
as the status data you will get from JEST is in very typical form you have to use TJ02T to find the exact status

  • Collective processing for status CLSD for production order

    Hi, All.......
Is there any provision or Tcode to give status CLSD for all Production orders.......
I hv checked COHV tcode but except TECO there is no provision for CLSD.
    Yogesh.........

    Hi Yogesh,
Now there are 2 things involved in this..
    1. CLSD or DLFL
    2. Collective settlement of the Orders
    Isn't it??
    2. Collective Settleemnt of the Orders/Collective Processing with CO88.
Before this there will be other steps also like Over head calculation, WIP calculation, variance calculation etc.. So, check with Controlling Team also..
After that, you can device a Process for this and instruct the user to follow the process..
    1. Until unless you does the Settlement, it is not possible to have the Status CLSD/DLFL
For collective updation of the Status DLFL, you need to go with the Program PPARCHP1.
If you execute the Program with SA38, in the next scrren, you can select Multiple Orders or as per the selection criteria and Tick the Chcek Box for Deletion Flag only..

  • User status transfer for sales orders from ECC to CRM

    Hi,
We use business process with CRM sales orders that are transfer to ERP.
Users can change user status in the sales orders in ERP.
How we can replicate custom user status from ECC Sales Order to CRM Sales Order?
What is the steps to do this for CRM 7.0?
    Denis

    Hi,
We are creating quotation ZPQT in CRM which is then get replicated to ECC on saving it on “Accepted” status. In ECC we then create sales order of type ZPOR. Sales order gets replicated in CRM and also updates document flow. This sales order is called as “Project Sales Order”. PS team assigns WBS element to this order and does billing later on. Upon billing document is created sales order status in ECC changes to “Completed”. This is system status. But the issue is status of order ZPOR is CRM remains in status “Inprocess”. We want it to change to “Completed”.
We have similar scenario with order type ZOR. In this order after delivery and billing ECC assigns status “Completed” to sale order and same gets replicated to CRM.
In CRM for user status Completed we have assigned system status as FINI. Both ZPOR and ZOR has same status profile assigned at header and item level.
Our concern is if status is changing back in CRM for ZOR then why not for ZPOR. What is stopping system to do so?

  • Valuation class changes for open orders

what are the reason SAP doesn't recommend to change the Valuation class for open orders or when the  material is in transit.

    Hi,
System will not allow to change the Valuation classes of a Material in the Following cases:
    1. Material Stock should be zero. If any stock is there it wont allow to change vc.
    2. Material should not have any open Purchase Requisitions/ Purchase orders/ Reservations etc.
So, If if you want to change the Valuation class Transfer allthe stock of the material to another plant and delete all the related Transactions.

  • Credit status change through Sales order - change log

    Hi Friends,
I'm currently facing a scenario were it was reported by the client that
      credit release is happening automatically.
      Brief details :
Order was created on 4th Of Oct and it was blocked (reaches the VKM1 bucket )
since the customer reaches the credit limit. The same order on 5th Oct was not in VKM1
bucket were the status of order in Sales document header states that it's  released.
Initial check : (Sales order change log)
1, I've checked the change log on 5th Oct were the  field VBUK - CMGST  "Overall status of credit checks changed"  from  B to A.
       ((  Status and details below
A - Credit check was executed and document is OK.
B - Credit check was exectued and Document is not OK (credit block).
C - Credit check was executed document not OK, Partial release.
D-  Document released by Sales representative. ))
2, I tried to replicate the order status for block and release, But when I release through  VKM1 / VKM3
the change logs are getting updated with Status - D .(ie from B to D) .
I'm  wondering that  what could be the reason that causes the system to update in the table - VBUK  - CMGST from A to B
or because of what change from the client in the sales document header level could impact this changes.
Note - There is no payment which received from customer on that day.
Please let me know in case if you are getting the clue...
      Thanks in Advance..

    Hi
A simple credit check, as the name suggests, is very simple in nature. The functionality is limited and considers only open A/R items and open items from special G/L and sales orders for performing the credit checks. When you create/change a sales order that is relevant for a simple credit check, SAP calculates the payer/customeru2019s credit exposure by adding the open A/R balance for the customer, open item balances from the special G/L, and the net sales order value. This credit exposure is then compared against the customer credit limit maintained in the customeru2019s credit master. If the credit exposure is greater than the credit limit, the system sets the credit check status as u201Cfailu201D and shows a warning, generates an error message, or performs a delivery block

  • Impact Analysis: Business Area, Profit Center changed for Sales Order type

    Hi All,
Can you please let me know the impact of changing the Business Area and Profit Center for Sales Order Document types.
    Scenario:
Let's say that sales document type ZOR has been used for sometime. On this document x number of sales orders have been raised, delivered and invoiced over the years.
Now, if you change the Business Area and Profit Center what would be the business impact.
    thanks,

    Hi,
First of all itu2019s not a good business practice to change the Business area and Profit Centre.
However if at all l you change the Business area and Profit centre the following is the impact::
Business Area: effects the sales order in accounts assignment at Header level.
Profit centre: effects the accounting part at Item level
Overall in MIS reporting w.r.t Profit and Business Analysis in Finance will be affected.
    Thanks and regards

  • User status profiles for work orders and sub-orders

    Hi Experts,
I have the following question regarding status profiles for SAP PM work orders (but I guess it relates to all user status profiles).
    Customizing
A status profile is defined for order type "PM_A", which contains an authorization key "OP" for certain user states (to be set by the ordering party)
    Situation
The ordering party A creates an order of type PM_A for contractor B, and B then creates a sub-order of type PM_A for contractor C
    Problem
    - If I assign the authorization key "OP" only to roles of party A, then party B can't set the user states reserved for the ordering party (correct for the order A->B, but not for the sub-order B->C)
    - If I assign the authorization key "OP" to roles of party A and party B, then B could set certain user states reserved for the ordering party in the order A->B, which is also wrong
    Question
Is there a way to restrict sub-orders differently than "non-sub-orders", or do I have to create a "sub-order order-type" for each order type, in order to assign them different status profiles and authorization keys?
    Thanks a lot!

    hi
since you have 3 roles to be assigned to the same order type with different authorization ,it is better you create an seperate order type for sub order and assign the user status with authorization for B and C

  • Status Profile for Internal Order

    Hi,
Please tell me during creation of new status profile for new internal order type under status I have mentioned LKD - Locked and PLIM - Write plan line item. What should be used its corresponding Business Transactions with No Influence, Allowed, Warning, Forbidden, No Action which i need your valuable suggestion for our new implementation project.
    Best Regards,
    Samrat

    Hi Anand,
My query is while creating Status Profile in tcode OK02, there are various business transactions are available under status which one is No Influence or Allowed or Warning or Forbidd etc. I need to know the actual business transactions required for the status profile. Presently I have mentioned two business transactions which are Release and Write plan line item under status LKD(Locked). Release indicator is "Not Influence" and "Set". And Write Plan Line Items checked only "Allowed" as business transactions. But another user status "PLIM" I am not able to incorporte business transactons. While click on new entries A to W business transactions are appearing which are all "No Influence". But after saving the screen and back from the screen records(Business transactons) are not being saved properly.
I want to know the actual reason... Kindly need your suggestion...
