Steps for capitalising the AUC to Asset
Hi Guru's,
The user has already made the settlement of the internal order created for AUC (CWIP - Asset under construction). Still the amount is able to see in the AUC.
So what would be the reason for the amount lying in the AUC? and
what are the detail steps for transferring the AUC to Assets? (like internal order then its settlement and finally transferring to the Asset)
Hi Govind
1. create asset master data
2. create Internal Order
3. Enter Budget for IO
4. Create Purchase Order
5. Account for GR
6. Post Invoice
7.Settlement of capex orders to AUC
8. Settlement of AUC to Final Asset
In your case you have completed steps till 7 . For finanl settlement, create final asset master and in the settlement rule specify this asset as settlement receiver for Finanl settlement. Now you might have created settlement rule only for AUC

Can anyone give me the steps for moving the repository databases in 9.3.0?
We are in the 9.3.0 environment and I need to move the four repository databases for essbase, biplus and webanalysis/workspace to a new machine. I tested moving the databases and rerunning the config util, but I lost my sample reports I created earlier. Does anyone have a step by step procedure for moving the repositories?
Thanks,
-C.If you are moving reports why don't you bulk export them from workspace and then import them into your target.
Are you talking about migrating the repository across different shared services environments, if so then I doubt you will have much luck with trying to migrate the workspace repository as it pretty tied in with shared services.
Cheers
John

Steps for making the changes in DC and checking into NWDI
Hi Experts,
I am new to the NWDI
I have some questions related to the NWDI and NWDI integration manggement.
We have some set of SC's got from some team. Now we need to upload to our NWDI .For that I have done the following steps.
I have created some track in the CMS.
I have loded that SC in to the track.
I have imported that track in to the NWDS.
The track which imported contains the SC , this SC contains some DC's .
for getting the project in to the local mechine.
In the DC prospective -> Inactive DCs -> done the right click on the respective DC's and choosen as Create project option. Then i am able to see the DC project in the webdynpro prospective.
Now the project in the local mechine see the code and i need to rebuild and deploy .
What are steps need to be done. Please provide the step by step information for doing this
Thanks& Regards
vijayHi Vijay,
Follow this:
1.Import a development configuration.
The first step for you as a developer is to import an appropriate development configuration. The development configuration is your connection to the NWDI. By importing a development configuration, you get access to all resources relevant for your work without having to search for the right sources, libraries and servers.
2.Select the components you want to develop.
In the Development Configurations perspective, you can create projects for existing components to add them to your development list, The development environment automatically loads the required source files and archives into your local file system and tries to build the selected components locally
3. Create new components.
You can use the Development Configurations perspective also to create new components .Create the new component directly in the DTR. The development environment may propose a change list ("activity") or prompt you to create a new activity to be used to record the creation of the component.
4.Synchronize the source files and libraries.
From time to time, you should resynchronize your local sources and libraries with the NWDI to receive the most up-to-date changes of other developers.
5.Change the component sources.
Before you can change a source file, you must make the intended change known to the DTR (to check out the file) and agree on an activity to record the change. You can create a new activity or use an existing one.
6.Edit components.
Depending on the type of the component you develop, you can perform components development using the Java, J2EE, WebDynpro, Dictionary or any other suitable perspective.
7. Release the changes for the central build.
After checking the changes in, you can pass them to the Component Build Service (CBS), that is, you perform the activation process.
8.Release the changes in the development landscape.
After a successful activation, pass your changes to the Change Management Service (CMS) of the NWDI, which transports your changes within the development landscape, for example, between a development system and a consolidation system.
Thanks

Steps for transporting the created request
hi,
sap gurus,
kindly explain the configuration steps for
how we will transport a created request
from one server to another
regards,
balaji.t
09990019711.Transport Request is generated in following scenarios:
1. Customizing Request - When doing or changing some customization.
2. WorkBench Request - When configuration is cross-client. Eg Generating new Table, making changes in access sequence, Abap development, etc.
Transport Request is released through SE10, to be transported to Quality & production server.
Configuration of Transport Request System is configured by Basis consultant. Basis Consultant is also responsible for transporting the Transport request from Development server to Quality & Production.
Transport request is not generated for Master Data. For eg: Customer Master, Material Master, price master, etc.
Benefit of Transport Request:
SAP Landscape normally has 3- Tier system:
Development Server - Where customization takes place. Transport request is generated at this level & then first transported to Quality server for testing whether it meets the requirement or not. Once the requirement is met in Quality server then Request is transported from Development Server to Production Server (Actual / Live System)
Quality Server - Mainly useful for testing.
Production Server Actual / Live server, where the real transactions are created & posted.

Steps For Updating the IDOC Status using ALEAUD
Hi all,
My Scenario is : R/3(IDOC)--> Legacy System(File). After the IDOC is received successfully on the Receiver System.I should Update the Status of IDOC on the Sender System.
Can anyone help me out :
What all the Steps & Configurations involved for Sending an Acknowledgement & Updating the IDOC status from the Legacy System.
Thanks in Advance,
Dattatreya.Hi,
You may need to set up another flow (a reverse one), where the Legacy sends a msg to XI with the Idoc number of the initial idoc you sent (onward flow).
now, you can map the idoc number in E1ADHDR/E1STATE/DOCNUM and other statuses as required (in various tags) and also other information as per your environment. Pls see the below links

Steps for reversing the reversal document
Hello Everyone,
Automatic payment has been made however bank had confirmed that it was
unsuccessful due to technical reason hence payment document KZ was
reversed.Next day bank confirmed that payment was successful.
Payment document KZ needs to be restored. The reversal document ST has to
be reversed and cancelled.
MIGO document (RE) 5000000339 for amount 6.989,97 UEE currency
F110 document (KZ) 5300000047 for amount 289.473,53 RUB currency
FB08 document (ST) 3000008122 for amount 289.473,53 RUB currency.
Can you please provide me the Tcode to proceed further.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
LavanyaHi,
Hope you have reversed the accounting document only and not deleted the payment run / Proposal generated via T-code - F110.
1. Execute the T-code FBL1N with all items selection i.e. Open + Cleared items (with Normal / Sp. GL / Notes items selection)
2. Take a subtotal with a column "Clearing Document"
3. After reversal, your payment document (Type - KZ) No. 5300000047 & Reversal Document (Type - ST) No. 3000008122, are getting shown in Cleared items.
4. Your Doc.No. 3000008122 is the clearing document for the Payment Document 5300000047 & Reversal Doc. No. 3000008122 itself.
5. If yes, kindly reset (T-code - FBRA) the document No. 3000008122 (Be sure with Resetting, since it will transfer all the connected cleared documents to Open item status).
6. Your Payment Document No. 5300000047 will get shown in Open Items now.
7. Reversed the reversal Doc. No. 3000008122 (T-code - FB08) which is in Open items after resetting. (Which will get shown in cleared items after reversal).
8. Clear the MIRO (Accounting doc shown in FBL1N) with the Payment Doc. No. 5300000047 via T-code - F-44.
9. Not understood the reference of MIGO document mentioned by you which has no connection with the payment to Vendor.

Shridhar

ECC6.0 upgrade and BW steps for mapping the new ECC6.0 source system
Hello gurus
We are upgrading from R3 4.6C to ECC6.0. We use BW 7.0 SP 18. We will create the new ECC6.0 source system in BW, replicate metadata and everything. The question is how do we copy or reassign the existing objects pointing to our current 4.6c dev system (transfer rules, transformations, infopackages, process chains) to point to the new ECC6.0 dev system ? As a note, we also need to keep the current 4.6c source system objects until go-live o ECC6.0.
What is the common practice in such a case ? I am sure we are not unique...
A prompt response would be appreciated.
Thank you all.So the plan is to copy dev R3 and upgrade that - then Q r3 copied and upgrade that - then upgrade directly prod R3?
If so - then if it were me - I would firstly prove all this in a sandbox environment where BW dev points at an upgraded sandbox R3 ecc
ie same logical system
Then once that is proved I would organise downtime of BW development for a few months whilst the d-q-p ecc happens
Then when they copy dev r43 to ecc r3 i would then just point BW dev at the new ecc box and go from there (ie clear the deltas - change the logical system name to the new ecc box - replicate meta data - transtru all the datasources - run the process chains nothign to worry about)
However if you cant afford the down time - you may have to have an alternative transport route - ie copy dev BW to a another dev bw box and have an alternative path to production for issues
Then once everything is upgraded redo the changes through d-q-p to get the transports back in line (thats what we did) -
I keep getting an error message about a mobile device, resulting in iTunes refusing to install. I'm using Windows 7. Any helpful suggestions welcome!
I've just (finally) managed to fix this problem today. I checked the Apple Support forums, and it seems a lot of people are having the same problem.
I rang the Apple Support line, and the very helpful man (thanks Alan!) talked me through it stage by stage. If you go to the following page on the internet: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5376 it takes you through the process. WARNING - it takes a little time! The main purpose of this is to remove any trace of the old version of iTunes from your computer...
Basically, the first thing you have to do is go to your Program Files and double click on your iTunes folder. There'll be a number of files with the suffix .dll - you need to move all the .dll files from that folder to your desktop - you can simply click and drag them on the desktop..
Next, uninstall iTunes - go to Control Panel / Add/Rempve Programs and when the list comes up remove iTunes. This will take a few minutes... Then reboot your computer.
Next, go back to Control Panel / Add Remove and Remove - IN THIS ORDER -
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot again!
Next, check in your Program Files that the iTunes folder is completely gone - if it has, great: if it hasn't, right-click on the folder and press Shift and Delete - it will say "Are you sure you want to completely remove the folder "iTunes"? Click on "Yes".
Reboot!
Then go to the iTunes download page and voila! It should download iTunes without any problems... well it did for me.... Good luck! -
least a dozen times and it says it is installed but afterwards, it is not. HELP!
first, uninstall fp, http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html
then manually download and install the latest fp, http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html -
