Sticky notes added to front face of phone

Just like on your computer sticky notes can be brought up and dropped down. Notepad is good for storing important stuff but you have to go thru so many steps to get to it. Sticky notes would be great for those everyday reminders like go to the bank / pick up milk or a shopping list. Sticky notes on the front face of your phone , you could get to it with one click.

Created a PDF and added sticky notes, saved and emailed for review, recipient could not see or read the sticky notes. What needs to be done for my sticky notes to be seen and read when emailed. Thanks

I scanned a map and printed to create a PDF document, at that point I added sticky notes of different locations with notes of descriptions, saved and email to client for review.
Client received email but when he opened the attachment, all he could see was the map and none of my sticky notes.
What needs to be done so the recipient can see my sticky notes and read the descriptions for each sticky note?

Could you please tell me what is your Acrobat version?
Please ensure that recipient downloads the PDF and uses either Adobe Acrobat or Reader to open the sticky notes.

I guess that means back to the shop. Ridiculous to sell a phone that can't handle the new iOS more efficiently (or vice versa). I can't imagine anyone going near a 5C now (I have a feeling mine had already been used and taken back once and sold as new at O2).

Is there a way to customize sticky notes to have "form" content or check off lists that can be added?

I am looking to see if there is a way to create "form" sticky notes that I could chose the form and it pre-loads certain check lists or certain information on that sticky note - to help everybody put info that needs to be put on a particular document on that document.

The scenario here is not clear to me.
You cannot customize sticky notes, except those mentioned in the sticky notes properties.
It seems to me that you are referring to shared reviews here.

"Create links from URLs" preference no longer working in sticky notes

I work with reading other people's sticky notes in Adobe Acrobat X Pro (now version 10.1.1). When they wrote URLs in the sticky notes it used to recognize them as links; now they're just plain text. My Preferences > General > "Create links from URLs" option is checked ON. I aso tried View > Tools > Document Processing > "create Links from URLs" and it added two links but only outside of the sticky notes. I am on Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. Thanks.

AFAIK, URLs inside annotations were never converted into actual links. I'm not even sure it's technically possible to do so.
It might have happened if the annotations were flattened and the text in them became a part of the static text of the PDF. Then the URLs in it could have been converted into "live" links, but not before.

We can check a few other things, since the scan communication itself seems to be working okay, just not from the front of the printer. I'd like to check the Scan Settings on the front panel with in the HP Solution Center.
Once you're in the HP Solution Center, please click on Settings along the bottom, click Scan Settings, then click Scan To... Setup.
You will then see a screen that has Available Scan Shortcuts on the left and Front Panel List (Scan To button) on the right. If there are no options on the right, please add the scan options you'd like from the left side by clicking on it and then clicking the Add button in the middle. If you add one by mistake just click on it and then click Remove. Once you've added the options click Update the Device and then OK on the next screen.
If there are options on the right side when you open it, please Remove all of the options, click Update the Device, and then go back to the Settings screen, before following the same process described above to add the options to the right side.
Once you've added the options check the front panel of the printer. If they still aren't there, please turn the printer off for 30 seconds before turning it back on (use the power button not the power cord) and try the Scan option again.

Reader 9.1 won't print Sticky Notes/Comments

I had recently updated my organization to version 9.1 of Adobe Acrobat Reader from 7. I had to perform the reg hack on 7 to be able to let my users print the Sticky notes, but that does not work in 9 and I don't see a setting. How do I get around this? We can view the notes just fine, via screen, but who would have thought, we actually need to print these comments on our proofs from our customers.
Anyway, hope someone has an answer so we can continue on 9 and don't have to roll back.

I'm still getting emails relating to this issue, so I thought I would post an update here...
I've now created a tool for Reader that allows you to print the contents of sticky notes as a part of the original document, without needing the expensive File Attachment right. All you need are the standard Commenting rights, which can be added in Acrobat.

Disappearing Sticky Note Comments in Acrobat 9 PDF Reviews

I'm using Acrobat 9 Pro (version 9.3.2) and the reviewers are using Reader 9, and all of us are on Windows XP SP3. I'm distributing PDFs for online review using a SharePoint site (SharePoint Server 2007).
We've observed the following behaviour if you Show Comments List and enter comments for a sticky note using the comment field in this list:
If your cursor is still in the comment field when you publish, you'll get a message saying that a new comment was published, but the contents of the sticky note are missing from the other reviewers' views. They can accept the new comment and the metadata for the sticky note will appear, but the comment will be missing.
If you publish again, you'll get a message saying that a comment was updated, and then the other reviewers will see the contents of the sticky note.
If you enter comments in another sticky note (and leave the cursor in the comment field) before you publish for the 2nd time, you get a message saying 1 comment has been updated and 3 new comments have been added when you hit Publish. Why 3 new instead of 1?
If your cursor is in the comment field, and you haven't published yet, and you do any other activity (such as sorting, filtering, collapsing the discussion), then whatever you had typed in the comment field disappears.
This same behaviour has been observed for replies to sticky notes.
Comments do not go missing if you type in the sticky note pop-up, or reply in the pop-up.
The obvious workarounds are to enter sticky notes in the pop-ups instead of the Comments List, or click elsewhere on the List before doing anything else, or hit Publish twice. However, I don't think we should have to work around this. So, before I ask Adobe to fix this behaviour, has anyone else seen it? Or is there something about how to use the interface that I'm missing?

What happened to my sticky notes in preview?

I spent a lot of time adding comments to a pdf file. I used Preview. Now when I go to the document, all of the yellow squares are there, but there is no content inside. In fact, when I double click on the sticky notes, the boxes don't even open. But if I click on Annotate in the toolbar and click on the yellow box, it opens, but it's blank.
I put in a lot of work on the two documents and now it's all gone. It's the first time I've ever tried doing comments in Preview (I've always used Adobe Reader and never had a problem. I've been trying to stick with the Mac OS tools instead of downloading readers and such, but now I'm having second thoughts about this.
Normally I would do tracking in Word for comments/corrections like this, but I had to work with a pdf because the original document was generated in Pages and I can't seem to open Pages.
Are my comments lost forever?

Good to know. Thanks for replying. It would never have occurred to me to press the option key. Seems weird that they "hid" the solution when it would've been so easy to just include it in the regular menu as they do in all other programs. Equally weird that the Export as PDF function isn't working (it saves the little yellow boxes, but erases their contents).

Is there a way to recognize notes added to text in PDF files?

I really miss the add note to text functionality in this application! I am prepared to pay for it since I read documents with hundreds of references (reference by section number only) to sections spaced far appart. This tool makes it easier. I don't like the add sticky note functionality since you have to waist time to place the icon in a convenient space.
In addition, this application does not regocnize notes added to text by Adobe Acrobat Pro.
Please give us the add note to text functionality!!!!

A feature that I miss even more is the ability to move back to a link. I can follow a link but there is no way to go back. So I have to go back to the index to find my place again.
The text that I am reading typically contains 20 references per page in a 800 page document.

How do I turn off auto flip on my pictures when I use the front face camera? I dont want it to flip the picture after I take it, I have a 4S

Dv7 majicjak usb is not added as an audio playback device manager plugandplay on a dv7

when I connect Majic jack to the USB port of my DV7 win 7, autoplay adds it to the devce as a CD rom but the problem is:- I am not able to use the MJ as a audio device.
Majic- jack is NOT added in the audio devices as it is expected as a (USB internet phone Tiger jet )>

Events invitations are note added into the Calendar

I have a back end and front end calendar 6.3 environment with convergence connecting to the front end. When [email protected] invite the [email protected] to an event only an email notification of the event is sent to the userB, the invitation is not added into the userB calendar, in order to accept, decline or cancel the invitation.
For this environment i have both iwc and uwc active, but no matter what interface I use the behavior is the same.
My question is:
1. In a back end and front end calendar environment how should sent the emails notifications?
2. Why userB can´t see the invitation userA sent to him?
3. Where and how I can verifity the invitation is sent? in the back end / front end?
I saw the thread http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5432165. But the users have all the icsExtendedUserPrefs attributes. I also set the variables user.cal.enablenotify and user.cal.enableinvitenotify but still not getting the invitation within the calendar.

Sticky notes in iOS App

I have a Adobe PDF document the i want to add sticky notes to in the Adobe App on iOS.
However when I click the edit option it tells me the document is protected. The documents securtiy settings are:
Adding sticky notes works fine on a pc.
Is there a way to get sticky notes to work on the app but keeping editing/copying locked?
