Still getting 404 error.

Still getting 404 error when I click on the last post link. this happens inconsistently it really sucks though.
Is this Jived up software ever going to get fixed or replaced? anytime soon.

Of course that's an old test comparing Google Chrome 1 with a beta 2 version of Firefox 3.5. A more realistic test would have been using the development verison of Chrome which uses the latest webkit and v8 engine, to FF beta comparison.
Update: Needed my second espresso before I realized that my reading comprehension isn't that good pre-espresso. LOL
Anyway enough of moi splitting hair/atoms, your point is taken about competition (although it's really moot as Google basically underwrites 90%+ of Firefox's/Mozilla's operatinng budget).
A relevant tidbit even with that dated test (emphasis in bold is mine);

I sue both and the difference is negible to the user as we're talking milliseconds difference now.

This happens to me as well. However, I have a shortcut on my desktop as well as my quick start bar. When this has happened to me, I can usually log back in without restarting, by using the shortcut on the desktop rather than the usual quick start bar.
I know this sounds weird, but it has worked for me about 80% of the time.

I've tried both. First, I tried on my pc, where iTunes had installed iCloud when it last updated. I have iTunes installed on this computer (and on my iPad and iPhone), but that wasn't the issue.
So I went online, thinking I needed a separate iCloud Apple ID, but it prompted me for my current Apple ID and gave me the message about my ID being "valid" but not an iCloud account," which, lol, was what it had asked me to do in order to create one. Please give a bit more system details. Which OS and version are you on? Is it 32 bit or 64 bit. Try downloading the Creative Cloud App if not already installed from: https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud. You can choose to install PS from withing this app and need not rely on web page.

I suddenly am unable to retrieve my emails. I discussed this with my Internet provider, but still get an error message and can't access my emails. Any suggestions???

I am unable to retrieve my emails since yesterday. I called Time Warner Cable, my Internet provider, but they could not help me; they stated that the settings had changed, since they were upgrading. I adjusted the settings, but still get an error message:

          There may be a problem with the mail server or network. Verify the settings for account "Mail 1" or try again.
          The server returned the error: The connection to the server "smtp.roadrunner.com" on port 110 timed out.
I changed the server, and the port, as Time Warner Cable tech rep recommended, but to no avail. They recommended I delete my current email account and recreate it, but that I check with Apple first, because I might lose my contact list (and any email messages I'd previously saved!?). They suggested Apple might be able to tell me how to not lose the contacts, emails, profile.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, what Interface are you using, & which one are you checking?
Each Interface will have it's own settings.
Though all of these steps may or may not be needed, I'm including them all.

Instead of joining your Network from the list, click the WiFi icon at the top, and click join other network. Fill in everything as needed.
For 10.5/10.6/10.7/10.8, System Preferences>Network, unlock the lock if need be, highlight the Interface you use to connect to Internet, click on the advanced button, click on the DNS tab, click on the little plus icon, then add these numbers...

Google Chrome is a problem:
if you use Chrome's own PDF viewer, the results are unpredictable.
if you use the Adobe Reader plugin with Chrome, it may reject (block) it if it is not the latest version. Reader 11.0.08 is the latest version for Windows XP, but Chrome may insist on the current version 11.0.10.
My suggestion; use a different browser!

This helped me.
Go to Start -- Accessories -- Command Prompt, make right click and choose run as administrator
Type this command : netsh winsock reset
then restart your computer, everything should be ok after this. Good Luck.

Take a look at iTunes for Windows: "Error 7" message when opening iTunes. Perhaps your .NET Framework needs a repair.
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

User's My site is getting 404 error. User profile exists in SharePoint. How to go overcome 404 error on enduser's mysite. Issue with Moss 2007.

o resolve this issue, move the personal site provider for My Site personal sites to a different site location. To do this, follow these steps: Add an explicit inclusion included path for My Sites personal sites. To do this, follow these steps:
Start SharePoint 3.0 Central Administration.
Click Application Management.
On the Application Management page, click Define managed paths under SharePoint Web Application Management.
In the Web Application box, click the Web application that you want to configure.
In the Add a New Path area, type the path in the Path box. Then, click Check URL to verify the URL.
In the Type box, click Explicit inclusion, and then click OK.
Create a new site collection at the URL that you specified in the included path. To do this, follow these steps:
On the Application Management page, click Create site collection under SharePoint Site Management.
In the Web Application box, click the Web application that you want to configure. On the Create Site Collection page, specify a title and a description for the site collection in the Title and Description area.
In the Web Site Address area, specify the URL of the included path that you added in step 1.
