Still problems with georaster

Hallo,
I have posted some days again that I am not able to load georaster or I should say I can load but when I validate my data after loading I always get the error code 13454 (I tried the import procedure and the georasterloader tool with different tiff and png).
I let my script with my tables, the trigger, the permission and my tiff file run somebody else and he could validate with true and the metadata is exactly the same. We tried with different charactersets (if this maybe is the problem) but I can't still validate after loading.
Has somebody experience or advice what could else be wrong? Is there somebody from germany who has eventuelly created a database with default characterset or Unicode (AL32UTF8) and german langauge settings and is able to load?

In case anyone is wondering, I was able to load this data. My metadata is exactly the same as Katrin's, but mine validates and hers doesn't. If anyone else can jump in here, please do!

Still problems with ID changing in Teaming 2.1?

They are still problems with changing the ID from user in the eDIR when they are
will synchronized with the Teaming system?
In the past it was a very bad thing if the user name (ID) was a shortened form the
name of the user e.g. ssmith for Sarah Smith.
When "our" Sarah has married and her new name was e.g. Sarah Stone, new user ID is
sstone, the Teaming system can't "realize" that ssmith and sstone are the same user.
Is this problem fixed in the version 2.1?

A opened a request by Novell and get the answer that all is still the same since version 1.x.
Maybe this behavior will change in the version 4.x.
It's really sad that Teaming can't handle changed IDs.... really sad....
Than we have two ways... first, we change all our IDs to IDs with digits like 1234 or the second way... we use
SharePoint.... really sad.....
I'm wonder me that we are the only firm with such problem....

Still problems with Apple id and emails after move to iCloud

Hi,
After move from MobileMe to iCloud, there are still problems with apple id's and emails.
I'm trying to delete a mail (email1) from one apple id, but nothing happens?
And when i'm trying to add a email (email2), that i Know isn't linked to another apple id, i get the message that it is already in use with another apple id?
It's a problem when you use these emails with facetime, imessage etc ...

My iPhone 5 and 4 both are having no trouble connecting to the Apple store, but my iPad (4th Gen) cannot either connect to Apple store, nor stream music using iTunes Radio. Keeps asking for my Apple ID and password. When I put it in, it says that I cannot connect. If I put it in wrong, it tells me its wrong. Tried changing my password on my desktop PC. The iPhones handled change and continued to connect, but iPad is unable to connect still.
Any solutions would be appreciated.

Still problems with uploading articles in folio builder

Hello,
Read much information on this forum but i still don't have a solution for my problem. And here is my problem.
I had a course how to create a digital publication. So went back to work and try to do the same as what i did at the course.
Installed InDesign CS5.5 and the last folio producer tools en folio panel. Than I create a folio via the folio panel en voila it was created. So far so good.
Than I try to add an article to this newly created folio but for some reason I can't get it in the folio and I got this message
An error has occured while updating article layouts.The InDesign file for the layout cannot be found. (Than in Dutch because I have a Dutch version)
So what I already tried is the following:
- use another Adobe-ID to log in the folio panel (no succes)
- uninstalled the publishing parts en reinstalled again the newest parts (no succes)
- create article via import (also no succes)
- create a local folio and than add a article (no succes)
- Also locate the InDesign file on another location (no succes)
When i create the article the spinner keeps on turning. When I than login to the digitalpublishing.adobe.com with the same adobe-id I see the article with a red frame around it. Which says "Corrupt layout"
Than I send the InDesign file of an article to someone else and he can upload this file without any problems. And I am sure I have all rights/permissions which I should have.
Is it possible that you can have problems with uploading articles because of network settings or combinations with other software?
Has somebody a solution for this really frustrating problem?

@microsoft - Bug report - Still problems with Fullscreen in Microsoft Remote Desktop 8.0.12 (Build 25282) MAC

The problem with full screen is still there, even though mentioned as a bug fix - But it has improved. When opening RDC first time You have to click full screen twice to get i to full screen. When You don't close RDC program and connect again full screen
is OK, but if You're ending RDC program and connecting again, its the same problem again.
At least problems with the program crashing was solved a couple of versions ago - Thanks for that :)

Have you tried using URI scheme?
You can set the URI scheme and also set the screen according to your wish and you will find good result at first.

Still problems with Siri

Still problems with FlashVars

I am still having a problem with FlashVars. I copy this out of the html rendered to the client:

I have this code in my Flash page:

            for (varName in paramObj)

and then I substituted tmp for a variable I print to the screen to see what it would render. Rendered the movie and loaded it on the server, and what gets printed? Just "home". Where the heck did "gb" go???

Still problems with external harddrive after sleep although 10.8.5 supplemental update is installed

I am on an iMac 24" late 2007. The external drive is a Hitachi (HGST) Touro 1TB (other drives are fine and never had a problem not even before the supplemental update). Disk utility finds no problems with the HD (had volume repaired never the less).
Is this just my iMac or are others here also still confronted with hd sleep problems after the supplemental update?

I'm not having those same problems, but my USB3 external drives attached via a USB3 hub still are ejected improperly when the machine goes to sleep. Also, I've had aliases on the desktop disappear for no reason. I regret updating to 10.8.5 due to all the weird problems, and the supplemental update fixed a few things but it's still buggy... Fortunately, no data corruption from this. I keep my fingers crossed.
Since desktop sales represent 15% of Apple's revenues (and dropping), it's just a matter of time before they dump desktops all together. I see no reason why Apple would care if the desktop OS is buggy.

Still problems with the Ipod Nano 3g and the Nike+ kit??

I thinking about buying an Ipod Nano and the Nike+ kit tomorrow but now I'm a bit unsure due to some of the problems mentioned here in this forum? Do you still have problems with the commuication between the Nano and the sensor? Are there still problems wtih the distance being wrong or only in km? Should I buy - if possible - a Ipod Nano 2G?

Personally I am very happy with my new iPod Nano. It works great with Nike Plus and I love the video and some of the cool features like stopwatch and more. I have an earlier iPod Nano and I was hesitant to buy the new one but I am so glad I did. I don't have any problems uploading data.

Still problems with libstdc++

I have played around with some binary packages lately wich won't run. I have these problems with JBuilderX and AC3D.
I get these errors:
./jbuilder: relocation error: ./jbuilder: undefined symbol: __tic
./ac3d: relocation error: ./ac3d: undefined symbol: __builtin_new
I think the problem is that they both link to libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3 wich is just a symlink to the normal libstdc++-lib.
Is now the problem that the libstdc++ in Arch-Linux is just too new for these programs (compared to Red-Hat for example...) or is there some workaround for this problem?
It is not the first time that I get some strange errors with binary-programs but normally I can live with them... (and use other programs )
I'm just wondering if I could make them work despite all that

Pages, printing: still problem with drop shadows . Frustrated. :

I've spent most of the afternoon trying to get my Pages document to print properly.
I am experiencing the drop-shadow issue :heavy black clump instead of artfully placed& delicate. Printouts do not resemble what is onscreen or in preview etc.
Having read through the forums; the links; the (cruddy) Pages Help and manual; installed new HP offficejet all-in-one software...
I still get the same result.
Most of the threads don't quite fit my situation.
For instance: Several comments have to do with older versions of things. Because I do have Pages 2, I am on Tiger OS X10.4.7 , upgrading is not my problem.
One of the threads had fairly explicit directions to make a new filter in Coloursync which led all the way to a "change resolution" menu but didn't offer advice on what resolution
modification to make. rrrrrrrr..
I am pretty lost at this point and really just want to print out a document that looks like what I have designed.

If printing directly from Pages does not work then it must be an aspect of your printer. Some printers have a black and white setting that might not read shadows (which are more like greyscale) With the doc opened press ⌘ +p and browse through the options of the printer's pulldown menu and see if there are any settings that might be incorrect. (Check, in particular, your 'color sync' and 'print settings' options in the pull down menu.)

Still problems with Apache and cgi

I thought it was the "admin" vs "staff", but that isn't the problem. I switched everything to staff but the scripts that weren't working still aren't.
I've checked everything out that I can see (basically the ls -l listing) and I cannot see anything different between the two files.
If I go into the one that works (newshdr.cgi) and paste into it the code from the cgi that doesn't work (newsshow.cgi) the code works. But, if I copy the code from the working cgi into the non-working cgi the latter still doesn't work. So, from this, I know it is not anything in the code itself -- it must have something to do with the files. But I'll be darned if I know what.
Both cgi's are in the same directory, so the permissions down to there are the same. Both cgi's are -rwxrwxrwx, so that isn't the problem. Both now state "staff" instead of the non-working one being "admin".
I am really stumped. Any help would be greatly appreciated...IOW HELP!!!!!

Apple made a decision which boggles my mind: there are two versions of iWork, one you purchase online getting a serial number you apply to the demo. The demo contains the full contents of the program, you lose nothing by purchasing the program this way. The other version of iWork is a boxed copy, the same as the demo+serial# except that this version requires no serial number. Mixing the two creates unhappy people
If you download the demo and then purchase the boxed version you must remove the demo (and all support files and preferences associated with the demo) before installing the disc copy. If you don't, the program thinks you need a serial number and continues working in demo mode until it expires.
If you can't wait for the box to arrive, why not just download the demo and purchase the serial# online from Apple?

I was told the new realease, due to be out sometime in June, would have included corrections for my problem.
Do you have any info about the new realease of Rowset RI by Sun?
I downloaded JDBC RowSet Implementations 1.0 JWSDP 1.4 Co-Bundle, hoping that would be it, but the RI included in it is still 1.0 (though the jar lib files have different size)
Please help me with any info you can provide. My university thesis would greatly benefit from it.
