Still satisfied

Yeah its a drag and what a bummer but whatever. My car depreciated more ( well one of my cars) as soon as I drove it off the lot. This stuff happens. Maybe Apple will make it up to us. Maybe they wont. But am I loving my iphone any less... no way... I still will use it love it and love it some more. I bought two phones a 4 GB and an 8 GB , so yeah its a drag I could buy almost three for what I paid on two. But I do have one of the discontinued 4 Giggers. LOL.. Oh well... I still will buy from Apple, and look forward to anymore exciting things down the line.

koolaid son, You are still in that koolaid fog.
I love my phone and I still use it, because I have a 2 year contract, but If I could I would get out of the whole thing because I don't want to support a company that doesn't give a sh i t about me beyond my $$.
Who cares about the web access? I could easily go back to the treo or blackberry. At least I have access to excel and word or other office type producks. I could pick and choose the products I want to put on my phone and use on a daily basis - Natively, not having to worry about edge service and signal strength.
But ok buy the products and don't hold them up to any standard. Sorry, but apple doesn't deserve any passes anymore, they plyed their hand and it looks a lot like Microsoft.
Billy must really be loving this up there in redmond.

  • How to Refresh "Internal table values" in User EXIT.

    Dear All,
My requirement is to place some checks in exit ZXQQMU20 in different tabs from the TCODE IW21 . IW22 etc.
Now after placeing the checks towards the different tabs while doing "NOCO" from IW21 the conditions are fullfilled but
when i go ahead to modify the created  "NOCO " from the TCODE IW22 by deleting the created values and saving in IW22 , the conditions written in the exit are still satisfied eventhough i have deleted the values in IW22.
The reason for this is that the tables which are there in the exit ZXQQMU20 T_VIQMFE , T_VIQMUR , T_VIQMMA
still contains the old values which were there at the time of creation of "NOCO"  in IW21 .
How to refresh my " internal tables values" used in such that even at the time of modification of the NOCO through IW22 my table values should pick the current screen values and not the values which were there at the time of creation.
    Please help.
The code i have written in the exit is as below:-

******no issues but if the breakdown duration is more than 15 min than the mandatory fields needs to be entered in the analysis tab.

Hi, I was thinking just like XVBAP and YVBAP values in the USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT.
Plz check u have x /y versions or tables like _old/ _new suffixes and then move the value accordingly.
    otherwise there may be inconsistency.

  • Is it really worth upgrading nForce into nF2??

    posted by jand,
    Quote
    sigh... no it is not...
just reflecting that my poor nForce will be considered old and it didn't even have the chance to be a 1 year old....
oh the humanity! can't a poor motherboard get the chance to grow old gracefully? must we boot it out of the door before it even reached their prime??
    Oh well, cest la vie.
ps: i was hoping that my nforce would miraculously transform into an nforce2 but i guess that won't be possible.
nvidia haven't thought them how to evolve yet
Markoul's Opinion: I believe, and despite what idea MSI likes to promote to the forum, that it is NOT worth the money unless you are desperate for a feature not in the original nForce. These are:
    -Integrated GF4MX
    - Support of new line of AthlonXP processors T/bred B' (166MHz FSB) thus AthlonXP 2700+(2.15GHz) and 2800+
    (2.24GHz)
-PC3200 (400MHz) DDR Memory Support (up to 3Gigs)
    -Firewire support
    -USB 2.0 support
    -ATA 133
    -AGP X8
-dual NIC's and router, additional to the integrated in the chipset nVidia NIC there is now also possible the use of a second  NIC depending on the board manufacturer working simultaneously via an integrated router.
-Lastly, depending on the board manufacturer, the possibility of 6 on-board analog Audio outputs (no need for a CNR) or/and an optical SPIDIF(?)
That's all it really is. So if you still can not hold your horses then be my guest and GO ON spend your beans in upgrading your very aged out nForce :P (not even a year long) into a new miraculous nForce2 which assuming you will not upgrade CPU, will give you a whole 10% boost maximum in real life applications....WOW!! :P  :P ...i am impressed.
Nevertheless, not to be misunderstood, for the rest of the people (not already owning a nForce) nForce 2 is the ultimate Athlon CPU platform so far and the best upgrade someone can possible do. Especially for VIA guys :D
......I never in my life upgraded h/w within a year and possible never will. Never, really a Geek and always like to get my money back with time. Not really a consuming freak....sorry :P
So, i am not convinced upgrading nForce into nForce2, any different opinions are most welcome.
    Markoul

    hi all,
    thanks for the comments.
Yup markoul, you're right and definitely have no plans to purchase an nForce2 as i'm still satisfied with my current one and the only weak link now is the int. GF2MX vid card.
Most of my friends are complaining that i'm underutilising my cpu anyway.... and i'm a guy who just upg. my pc for the first time in 5 years (yes, i was on a pentium based machine) so u could say i'm a slow tech adopter.
However i usually go for the std base platform at the time and i thought nforce will give me the best bang for the buck as it comes with int. GF2mx as i don't want to invest so soon on an external card yet with all the goodies on the horizon though most ppl don't understand why i stuck with this nforce.
I'm setting my eyes on the next 'evolution' and that's the clawhammer and if they are going to delay it, then by all means... better late with solid support rather than a finicky system.
    Here's my wishlist:
    1) an self-evolving system... hehe.. a system that gets better each time u use it..
    2) vid cards that are socketed so u could change the VPU/GPU like mobos & cpus ... that'll be interesting but i think we'll need the vid card market to mature in size like the cpu market

  • How to transfer DVD RAM (MPeg 2) videos into imovie?

I just bought an IMAC with OS X and Tiger to transfer all my DVD RAM discs into imovie, only to find out imac doesn't recognize the camera (Hitachi DZ-MV100A). Does anyone know of a drive I can buy to connect to the IMAC that would allow me to transfer, or the most straitforward way through software to transfer?
    imac   Mac OS X (10.4)
    Thanks, Clay

using a DVDcamcoder you stumble into the following hurdles to go:
    * DVDcamcorders don't support the firewire protocol
    * slot-in drives can get damaged, inserting non-standard-shaped disks (does your camera use normal or miniDVDs?)
    * your disks have to be finalized in your camera - read camera's manual how to accomplish that...
after that, you can handle these DVDs as normal ones (selfmade have no copyprotection, so no need of usage of any Ripper/Handbrake..)
you will realize a loss of quality, due to the nature of DVDs, which use a deivery-format, not meant for further processing, but we do read reports here, some people are still satisfied...
your options are, in recommended order:
    * DVDxDV (free trial, 25$)
    * Apple mpeg2 plugin (20$) + Streamclip (free)
    * Cinematize >60$
    * Mpeg2Works >25$ + Apple plug-in
    * Toast6/7 allows converting to dv/import dvd, hit apple-k
    * connect a miniDV Camera with anlogue-in to DVD-player and copy to tape/use as converter

  • Retirement Eligibility Date

    Hello,
We have a request to have a Retirement Eligibility Date populated based on age and years of service. Does anyone have any ideas of how this could work and ensure the date populates within IT0041 or any recommendations of best practice? This date would need to be populated for already employed EEs and new hires/re-hires.
Please let me of any thoughts.
    Thanks in advance.
    Jasmine

    Thank you Dileep!
Question, would the calculation be able to be done within this same infotype? In looking at the infotype I see that you can select certain years which is good for the years of service but this date must also take into consideration the EE's age as well. Would this infotype still satisfy this request?
Please let me know your thoughts.
    Thanks so much,
    Jasmine

  • Satellite M30 (PSM33C-00100E) - Display driver for Windows 7?

I had no difficulty installing Windows 7 Home Premium on this computer. The only changes I had to make were installing the XP drivers for nVIDIA GeForce FX Go5200 and SD Host Controller.
Granted I'm only getting performance level 1 due to my old video driver, but I'm still satisfied with my computer's performance using this operating system. Are there any Vista drivers for the nVIDIA GeForce Go5200 that will work on an M30?

    Hi
I have a little bit searched using Google and I founded out that your model is listed on the Toshiba Canada website:
    http://www.toshiba.ca
I have checked it and I can only find drivers for Windows XP It seems that your model supports only this OS.
Is Windows XP not an option for you on this oldie? I think this would be better choice for this notebook.
Otherwise you have to search on external websites for display drivers or you try a display driver from another notebook series Maybe it works.

  • Facetime on mac mini

can i use facetime on mac mini with Apple Thunderbolt Display ?
    thanks

Just to relate my experience with the Macally Megacam:
When I purchased my Mac Mini late last year, I wanted a microphone mainly for telephony (specifically, Google Voice). I chose the Macally Megacam because besides having a microphone which would "just work" and a nice low price, it also had a video camera.
The microphone in the Megacam works perfectly and flawlessly with every application for which I've needed a microphone. I like the way it clamps onto the top of my monitor and connects via USB with no software of its own to get in the way.
The camera works. But in FaceTime it is terrible. TERRIBLE. Very, very low framerates. I think this is because the camera is always recording its images at its maximum resolution and this results in the Mini not being able to keep up a decent framerate. The folks with whom I've used FaceTime have told me that the framerates I'm pushing to them are the same; it's not just that it looks bad in the preview miniwindow in the corner of the main FaceTime window on my Mini. I've tried it with my own iPhone and I've seen the same thing, so it's not a bad wifi connection, either, as the image from my iPhone to the Mini is perfectly clear with a high framerate.
Admittedly, I've only tried the Megacam's camera with FaceTime. Maybe some other application would drive it better.
I'm still satisfied with the Megacam. As a microphone. If I frequently used FaceTime or some other application requiring video, I would not find it satisfactory and would look for some other camera or possibly just get an Apple Thunderbolt display which has a FaceTime camera built in and would connect to the Mini with a Thunderbolt cable.

  • 4th Gen iPod touch = Strong as Snowflake

Apple, I have been a loyal customer for years. I have owned four ipods and cherished every one of them. Although each one has invariably broken, I still replace them because the software design and simplicity of the hardware are unrivaled. Unfortunately, the hardware has apparently gotten too simple. The materials that make up the 4G ipod touch are so flimsy that it almost breaks in your hand.
This morning my 3 month old 64GB iPod touch 4G decided that the ground looked like a comfortable place to rest and took a dive from my lap (I was seated) onto the linoleum floor of my class. It wasn't a particularly far fall, as I've had phones, former ipods, laptops and all variety of electronic equipment make the trip before with varying degrees of damage. Usually the damage is minimal, with a few scuffs on the edges being the worst extent. However, my little delicate state of the art iPod hit the ground and not only cracked the screen so bad that chunks of it are now missing, but it bent the aluminum casing on the corner of the device so that replacing becomes another issue entirely.
I am not a physicist, but I have a pretty good concept of gravity, and the distance of the fall seems completely disproportionate to the level of damage to the device. Upset, but undeterred, I called tech support as soon as I returned from class. Someone promptly answered, and I explained the issue. Not expecting a free repair from Apple, I was prepared to pay a fee to have the screen and quite possibly the casing replaced. What I was unprepared for was the price...
$199 for the screen replacement alone. $199. $199?!! What? Thats over half of what I paid for the new device in the first place! So you are trying to tell me that not only will Apple not replace the screen with an extended coverage warranty if you purchased one, but they charge an outrageous fee for the replacement of perhaps the most common component part on the iPod! How can you produce a product intended to be carried with a person through the bruising ordeal we lovingly know as life, that falls apart after just the slightest disturbance?!
From what I understand about chemistry, there are alloys, plastics, and glass products out there that are capable of withstanding disruptions as strong (or stronger than) a speeding bullet. Apple, you manufacture a sensitive electronic device that you charge an exorbitant sum for, (and because it is an incredible piece of technology the price is probably justified), but the one thing which that price does NOT justify is the delicacy of parts that are most likely to be placed under duress, most notably the screen. If I purchase a product, I expect it to meet a few standards. I have dropped iPods before, from far greater distances on much harder surfaces, and been upset with the scuffs on the corners, but still satisfied that it was still intact and worked fine. This time I am stuck with a mandatory repair, because there is a gaping hole exposing the internal structure of the device and the headphone plug-in has become partially obstructed by a bent piece of metal from the rim.
This instance appears to be one of many being faced by my fellow 4th Generation Touch owners. The girl whom I spoke to on tech support even mentioned that her screen shattered after a similar incident last night. Undoubtedly this product went through rigorous testing, to determine if it had the capability to withstand the shocks of everyday life...so my question is how....how could you develop and sell such an expensive and in-demand product which is so poorly engineered that the costs of repairing a simple, common, accidental malfunction are half as much as the original product itself?
If the materials used to produce the object are so expensive to repair or replace, then why have more measures not been taken to strengthen them so that repairs will be less common? How could you manufacture iPods that were more durable three years ago than they are now? That is innovation in the wrong direction and for the wrong reasons. I am a cynic, but I don't want to believe that you would knowingly release a product that is less durable than its predecessors. I understand it makes good "business" sense because you can now charge more for replacements and repairs than you would if the machines last forever. You don't make money from one time business, I understand, but one thing Apple used to be known for was top notch customer service, and if one component on your product is likely to break from the slightest disturbance, and then the cost to repair it is so astronomical that merely replacing it becomes a viable option, then it makes sense from a service standpoint to offer a discounted or even complementary repair!!
I know you are a public company, and I have made an investment in you. I own a share of your company in the sense that I have faithfully purchased your products and have therefore helped you meet that magical EPS valuation that has allowed your stock to prosper. While the shares I own now aren't on paper, they are currently keeping paper weighted to my desk.
I have already spent thousands of dollars on your products, and I have asked very little in return, since the utility and joy I received from using them have been all the return I need. However, when the new product you make is so fragile that the slightest disturbance can effectively (in terms of $) render it worthless, I expect a little more in return. All I am asking for is for a reasonable cost of replacing broken parts on your device. I know that there are third party companies which can do the repair for cheaper, but since you control the monopoly for the parts, the cost of their service is still reliant on your prohibitively expensive materials.
Please, please, please figure out a way to reduce the cost of repairing cracked screens, or include a method for insuring within the warranty so that customers like myself, a student, who can't afford to pay an extra and exorbitant tithe for what should be a cheap repair aren't left out in the cold with another expensive paper weight.
    Sincerely,
    Aaron Wynhausen

I too have had this problem.  Except, I never dropped my ipod touch 4th gen. 64GB.  I simply pulled it out of an internal pocket in my bag (With nothing else inside of it) and it was shattered from top to bottom.  I've been an Apple fan for a long time.  I own a Macbook pro and my family and I have owned ipods in the past and never have I had a problem with their products being so flimsily made.  I am extremely disappointed with the treatment I got when I called customer relations and frustrated that my only option is to pay $200 for my $400 dollar product to be fixed. If I invest in something that expensive, I expect it to be able to withstand normal wear and tear.  I don't want my portable product to shatter with no explanation.
I will be telling everyone about Apple's complete disregard for their loyal customers, especially if so many other people have been having the exact same problem. I know and understand the Apple warranty but it seems that if the product is horribly and carelessly made, then something needs to be done.  I would have never invested in this product if I had known how delicate it was.  The ipod touch 4th generation does not meet my expectations and for sure does not come close the quality of other products I have bought from Apple.

  • Onboard Realtek HD audio vs. Soundblaster Audigy Value?

I have a SB Value from my old setup, it has eax 2.0 or 3.0
But the MSI P965 Neo realtek hd audio sounds good also.
What gives the best performance during games? methinks its the SB value but I want to here from you thanks..
    cheers!

Neo's audio "sharks", Platinum's slightly "battle", Creative's? well.... I use Digital Out always so the audio analog filter on the boards are useless.. unless Realtek chip did something amazing to reduce Dolby Digital Encoding quality... So, for Creative, well... their digital output "sharks" as they don't have DD or DTS encoding capability, their analog filters still no match to those real digital content. REgardless XP or Vista, well, I am still satisfied.

  • Which is the limit?

Finally I have got my two kingston HyperX modules.
Till now I 'm only able to post only with slow in performance mode.
The turbo mode don't let me choose 3 cas latency so that's the problem.
Anyway I still satisfied of my system becouse now I can post and make a sandra cpu benchmark even at 240 MHZ.
The 9500 seems now able to make a complete aquamark test at 225mhz so I'm starting to think that now the problem is not the video board ( that was my idea in a previus post ) but the cpu overheating.
I'm using the stock cooler but is on the way a thermalright sp94 so I'll post when I'll do a test with this beast installed.
Do you think I am right?
I have read some posts in which people with HyperX ram are able to set turbo mode,
    What can I do?
At post system says " double channel. liner mode."
What is this liner mode and are there other modes?
    One last question:
With 1 ddr400 module my chipset vent make some cool sequences with its leds.
Now,with the 2 hyperx modules installed,  the chipset vent does not light the leds anymore. Why?
Is it related with bios settings ( slow performance mode)?
How I can make it light the leds again?
    thanks

it is near 45°C when I had the hangup in aquamark at 233 Fsb.
I have now tried at 230 fsb and it is perfectly stable.
Probably I need a little more cpu overvolt to reach higher fsb.Now I at 1.5625V cpu voltage.I will raise when I'll install the new cpu cooler(SP94!!!).
I have seen you have the thermaltake SP94.Is this cooler really great?
What vent you have on it?
I'm not sure to take the monster vantec tornado 119cfm couse of its 55db.
I can buy the sunon 92mm 49cfm and 22db, what is the best choice for you?
What is your cpu voltage to reach a such high overclock?
    thanks

  • About P35 Neo2

I've had this mobo for 2 months now and I'm still satisfied, although I still have some questions left that needs to be answered ASAP:
Why does it or rather the BIOS /w Dual core center clock the CPU/RAM's down? I mean my RAM moduels are running at 800mhz (now at 400mhz) and CPU @ 2.4 (original @ 3.01ghz)
I know it has to do something that it does this "auto setup" by itself, by what it thinks "fits best".
I'm not that of a high end PC use,r but  other brands like poor ASUS never had this kind of hardware/software util, so I expect that someone could explain this for me.
Oh and I'm running Vista Ultimate x64, CPU's a Pentium D 925. But I also had this "problem" back with XP.

before asking questions, please take some time to read the moan guide.
Neither BIOS or dual core center. It's the CPU. It's EIST, it's C1E, it's power saving feature of the CPU.
The BIOS can disable this from happening, but why doing that? Don't you want to save some power for cheaper electric bill? ;-)

  • Baton Rouge Mall of LA Apple Store Support Service

I just finished up a meeting with the Genius Bar at the BR Mall of LA Apple Store and was disappointed by the experience.  Although my question was answered, and my problem fixed, I feel it is my obligation to let others know Apple Store service can be much better and even impressive.  Needless to say, my BR experience leaves me wondering what happened here.  I've been to several other Apple Stores in the US, mainly Cali, and had great experiences and left feeling as though I've learned something new and was still satisfied with investing with Apple.  I'd like to know from others in Louisiana how their service experience rated and whether this was just a "one-off" experience on bad day in the store.
Let me explain why the experience was disappointing. My appointment was at 11:45 am.  I checked in at the front door around 11:34 am and was instructed to wait in the store and someone would approach me.  That's fine, so I browsed through all the new gadgets.  20 minutes after my scheduled time, 12:05 pm, someone approached me asking whether I had an appointment and whether I'd checked in, to which I confirmed the 11:45 am appointment.  Not a problem, it was a busy day.  But more than half the people in the store had on red shirts and were talking to each other, not customers.  I could easily tell the hierarchy of the employees, and noticed as a guy with a black shirt strolled through the store, one of the mid-aged male employee who was earlier trying to direct others, perked up and asked a female customer whether she needed to check out.  Total brown nosing.  So when I get to the Genius Bar a few minutes later, the "Genius" I'm asked to talk to left me wondering if the title is appropriate.  Now sure, everyone has a sweet spot and is better at something than me, but if your advertising that your a "Genius" at something, I'd expect it to be somewhat obvious.  Well, she was polite and courteous, but she didn't know much, so expectedly, she asked a more experienced male who drove the keyboard without much interaction with her or me and quickly downloaded Grand Perspective and solved the problem.  There was not much verbal communication between the Apple employees and the customers.  They were busy discussing amongst themselves where they were going for New Year's Eve, and how bad the hangover would be the next morning.  And again I'm questioning the name of the stool.  So anyway, I try to have discussions with the female and male employee to get some nuggets of information that could help with the Mac, but to no avail, they just blankly stared at me.  I asked some questions about remote storage, backups, wifi's and Apple TV, but was not asked what I wanted the ultimate thing to do for me.  Anyway, my problem was solved and we left the store, but my experience did not leave me feeling impressed.  If this is the norm for customer service here in BR LA, let me tell others that's not the case everywhere.
Just wondering how your BR Apple Store service experience rated?  I would have given this experience a 2 out of 5 rating.

You will probably receive an email to rate your experience, make sure you fill it out. I would also call and talk to the service manager of that Apple Store and relate your experience so they can take proper steps to remedy the situation.

  • Assistance needed on 808PV Bluetooth issue

Hi and happy new year to all in the forum.
Starting by sharing my experience: I have been a happy user of an N8 for 2 years, with very intensive professional and personal use of its many features.
Never had any major problem; never had to post on a forum. This is my first post.
Although still satisfied, I have recently replaced my N8 with the 808V for three major reasons:
    - keeping symbian
    - N8 was getting slow with lack of memory
    - 41 mpx camera of the 808
I was initially happy to notice that Belle FP2 OS and the 808 memory greatly improved my everyday use compared to Belle Refresh.
However, out of the numerous daily uses of the N8 functions, two heavily used features that are missing or not working, make me miss the former Nokia flagship:
First problem that is already known, the missing multiple picture selection in the Gallery, which was reported by many. I did not know about this before buying. And yet, everyday I need to erase, or to transfer to another storage by Bluetooth, un one batch the many pictures taken during the day.
Now more serious, and where I need assistance: I also used to have intensive use - half for work, half for listening everyday to some music - of Bluetooth stereo peripherals and headsets with the N8. All of them from Nokia, and all of them of high quality: BH-500, BH-504 MD-7W.
Not any of my Bluetooth stereo devices would work on my 808!!!
BT connexions are established without any problem. But then every sound source stops to work on the terminal: no calls, no payers, no web radio, not even games… You can launch them, but calls for examples are disconnected as soon as the calling party takes the call. The payers freeze just before emitting a single note while pressing the play button. It's like the BT connexion to a stereo audio device freezes the software. If I disconnect BT, the music restarts on the phone's loudspeaker!
Needless to say, my smartphone is to be used everyday for work (pictures, BT hands-free, music). I need it in BT. So I would be grateful if anyone can help with the same problem and indicate solutions so I can decide what action to take.

I did now a litlle checking.
    Indeed 808 is Bluetooth 3.0 (whereas N8 was 2.1)
But isn't a new BT 3.0 device supposed to be compatible with previous norms?
To give you an example, the new stereo BT headset BH-221, as specifically recommended for 808 (referring to http://www.nokia.com/fr-fr/produits/mobiles/808/accessoires/?page=1) is compatible with the 2.1 Bluetooth technology. Ie. same as all my current devices.
    So problème should be elsewhere.
Unless we can indentify anyone having same issue...

  • Mastering in GB4

this is from another thread, but I wanted to open up a discussion on mastering with Garageband. My understanding of mastering is that once you have a dry signal completed, you then go back into each track and master that track with effects and EQ, and complete the piece by mastering the overall production with the master track. Is this right?
    This is a quote from HangTime on a previous post;
    ~~~~~
    ++You can Master with GB, using GB3 I chose to Master with Peak, but with GB4, I would probably export at full 24-bit, and then drop the export back into a GB project to do the final Mastering.++
    ~~~~~
From the comment above - does this mean you export the full piece at 24 bit, and drop the completed work into a new project and then master from there? But wouldnt you only be able to master the "Master Track"? And when you export it mixes all of the tracks down and make them un-editable after the export? So when you export and then master, you are only mastering the Master track to add the final EQ and compression?
Any comments or help on mastering would be great. thanks, Chris

that bug with the helpful button is starting to annoy me..
yeah, it's been a problem for a while now, but don't let it make you nuts, it's nice to know that you have found anything helpful B-)>
OK, I seem to now get it
    i believe that you do.
wouldn't exporting then mastering the piece diminish the quality?
technically, yes because there is some upsampling inside GB (to the best of my knowledge everything is manipulated in 32-bits), and then dithering down to 16-bits upon export (in GB3 and lower), that was why I chose not to reimport back into GB3 and go through that process again. In reality? it's not likely you'll hear much, if any, difference (look at how happy people are with the original AAC files from the iTunes store ... up to 90%(!!)of the musical information is thrown away during compression, and most people are still satisfied)
And can Mastering alone really at that UMPH we were talking about from another thread?
it can make the difference between something that sounds like a demo tape, and a finished product. it's why a good mastering engineer easily commands hundreds of dollars per hour to work their magic. increasing volume will make something louder, but it's the Mastering process that pushes the sound over the top and makes a song "pop"
Are there any other tools to use in the process?
the longer, but probably no more helpful, answer is that you use whatever tool THAT project calls for. adding a touch of reverb might be just what one song needs, and might ruin another one.
i narrow it down to the most useful, and consistently used tools: Compression, Limiting, and EQ. if you do some research and learn how to use those tools, and read about the types of things done in the Mastering process, you'll be on your way (and you'll get better as you go along)

  • FaceTime on Mac sideways

I'm trying to have a conversation thru FaceTime with my friend.
We are both on MacBook Pro.
I see him the way I should and I see myself the way I should.
The problem is, he sees me sideways.
We tried changing from landscape to portrait but nothing changed.
Any idea that might help us?
    Thank you
    Sophie
