Stock transfer to physical bins from 998 storage type

Dear Experts,
As part of data conversion,After loading huge stock into SAP 998 st type into INITIAL bin,I want to move the stock into physical bins.I have SU management activated.
1)During the initial upload to 998 , I have taken Material slip field as storage bin coordinate in the external system, How would I move the stock into respective bins in SAP?
2) How would I map SAP bins with stock locations (counter part for storage bins in external system) ? So that I want to make sure , stock will be placed into the right bins.
3)What will be my approach for moving the stock into physical bins? Can it be through LSMW - LT01 with 999 movement type? Or is there any other method i can use?
4)Is there any tamplete to use for the above process? Do I need to develop any conversion program?
4) I want to print the storage units simultaneously during this process. How can I do this?
I really appreciate your help.

if you are not already live, then it should be possible to add the target bin field directly to the 311 movement. so you do not even need TOs to get the material into the bin for the WM go-live.

Use this info to load the stock into the correct storage bin
2) How would I map SAP bins with stock locations (counter part for storage bins in external system) ? So that I want to make sure , stock will be placed into the right bins.
Don't really understand what your doubt is, but if your MM/WM setup is correct, this should go OK
3)What will be my approach for moving the stock into physical bins? Can it be through LSMW - LT01 with 999 movement type? Or is there any other method i can use?
LSMW, with 'Standard batch/Direct Input' Object 0220 and Method 0000 (should be assigned to program RLBEST00).
4)Is there any tamplete to use for the above process? Do I need to develop any conversion program?

Just assign the correct print code to the 561 movement type...but beware for the fact that a lot of labels will be generated at the same time and you can stuck your printer :s

WM : Automatic replenishment TO for fixed bin from warious storage types

Hi Gurus,
We have storage type 011 - fixed Bin storage type , 022 - self Storage and 055 - High Rack Storage. Also we have set up for automatic TO creation for fixed bin in fixed bin storage type when stock falls below minimum fixed bin quantity.
My problem is : system only creates TO when there is some stock in 055 - High Rack Storage. If there is no stock in 055 system doesn't create any TO. But there's lots of stock in 011( other than fixed bin) and 022.
we want system to serch for 055/ 022/ 011 sequence. So if there is no stock in 055, it should go for 022 and then 011.
Can anyone advise me on this? I will be really grateful.

Goto LT01 transaction with Movment type = 999 and stock category = Required stock category. Create a PCN and process the remaining process so as to change the stock type.

Stock Transfer of Excisable goods from Depot to Depot

Hi,
We are facing an issue with Stock Transfer of Excisable Goods from an excisable depot to another excisable depot which had arrived from an excisable manufacturing plant.
We are following the below steps:
1. Create STO PO at Depot A (ME21N)
2. Delivery of Goods from Depot B (VL10B)
3. Create Depot Excise Invoice at Depot B with reference to Orginal Manufacturing Excise Invoice (J1IJ)
4. Goods Receipt at Depot A (MIGO)
5. Capture Excise at Depot A (J1IG)
We are getting stuck at Step 5. When we are performing J1IG and entering Depot Excise Invoice or Original Manufacturing Excise Invoice, we are getting an error message as "Excise invoice does not exist in Supplying Plant".
Kindly suggest how to capture excise at Depot A.

We have tried your solution but we are still stuck at the same place.
In J1IG, if we enter the Depot B excise invoice and press enter, we are getting the message "Excise invoice does not exist in Supplying Plant".
If we enter the Original Manufacturing excise invoice and press enter, then also we are getting the message "Excise invoice does not exist in Supplying Plant".
If we enter the Depot B excise invoice and give a tick in the "Depot Excise Invoice" and press enter, we are getting into an infinite loop.
Kindly suggest how we can capture the excise at Depot A.

High Level Bin Search, before Storage Type Search

Can anyone help me to guide, which user Exit/Badi, be used for searching Empty bins, before storage type search. I come to know from one of colleague below message.

Background: Want to do putaway with storage type 007: Our high rack is having space (Bins) with different capacity. One rack can have 4 type of racks.

Thanks for your quick reply. I am trying user exit given by you. Once again I would like to submit my requirements here.
a) We have 98 racks in Warehouse.
b) Product is Ball Bearing.
c) Bearings are handeled in Ea, Issue and Stock unit is Ea
d) Alternate Unit of Measure is Box, i.e. per box quantity is mentioned into Material Master.
e) Each Rack is having 5 different type of bins.
f) We want to fill rack from bottom to top for first rack, and then next rack.
g) Once we do putaway for any material, each time system should pick Next empty bin, and each bin type is different.
Case 1) If going with Storage Type 007:
                i) Need to maintain palletization data in Material master WM view 2.
               ii) Can not maintain any capacity check for Capacity utilization in Material Master. Capacity is only Pallatization data.
              iii) While creating TO, System goes for placemet of material from bottom to Top in Rack, but give similar quantity for each bin, & these quantities are defined from Material Master from Palletization data.
              iv) In this case it is not checking bin capacity.
My query:
i) How can we split quantity during TO Creation based on Next Empty Bin avaialbe with certain capacity and all further bins with other capacity.
ii) Can we have different type of bins in one storage type if we are going for Storage type 007. or it is mandatory to have similar kind of bins.
Case 2) If going for Storage type 002:
              i) Not maintined Palletiztaion data in Material master.
             ii) Maintining capacity check in WM View 1.
            iii) Maintained Capacity check in Bin master.
            iv) WHile careting TO , system doesnot spilt quantity for next empty bins avaialbe, Only one line item comes for whole quantities. and system throw an error.
Message Number: Message no. L3068
Message Details: Maximum quantity for storage bin TR-15 will be exceeded by 740.000 PC
My query: How can we split TO quantity as per next empty bins available.

WM-Backflushed materials issued from different storage type

Hello my client has an issue in WH Service order issue
we face the problem that articles which are marked for back flushing aren't properly handled by the system with service orders. In normal production orders when the activity is closed on which the articles are set, the back flushing items are atomically issued from warehouse type 100 (location Backflush according to the rules set by LPK1,2,3) however when the activity of an Service order is closed the items are issued from warehouse type 914 creating and imbalance in WM. Please Is it a configuration issue or any other issue i should liik in to.

Hi,
Please check for service orders, yu should check CRATE parts and RELEASE ORDER parts. In their control cycles in LPK1/LPK2 you can define from which storage type / bin they are consumed when you book consumption against your PrdOrdservice order.
At the time of backflushing (in standard system) the components will go to 914+dynamic bin (or fixed bin, based on your settings). Normally TR creation is set on WM/IM interface and processing the TR you can move the components from WM to interim storage type 914. Thanking you.

Search for material from 2 Storage types

Hi,
When creating a delivery for Subcon PO Via ME2O the transfer order is created automatically from the source storage type
657 ( for example). The requirement is that the system should also look for material from source storage type 460 ( for example).
I did the following customization ( SPRO path):
1) Logistics execution -> Warehouse management -> Strategies -> Activate storage type search - > Determine search sequence --
For the combination of Warehouse number & Mvt type 541 ( GI to Subcon delivery) -- 657 and 460 are assigned.
2) Logistics execution -> Warehouse management -> Activities-> Transfers-> Define Mvt types-> For the combination of Warehouse number & Mvt type 541 -- I have assigned source storage type as 657.
With the above the system does the search from 657 stoarge type only and not from the both.
Is there any other setting to meet this requiremnet?

I removed 657 source storage type in the 541 mvt type set up ( Source storage type is Blank) . In the Movement Type set up for 541, "Ref.Stor.Type.Search" field is already with 541.
The Storage Type search sequence is maintained for the combination warehouse number & 541 mvt as 657 and 460 ( storage types).
When Delivery is created for Subcon PO, The Transfer order is not created automatcially ( Only delivery is created)
The requirement in detail is as below:
There are 2 plants ( AL70 & AL77) linked to 1 Warehouse (AL1). When delivery is created for subcon PO in plant AL70, the TO is also created automatically with source storage type as 657 and destination storage type as 916. The additional requirement is when delivery is created for Subcon PO in plant AL77, the TO aslo should be created automatically with source storage type as 460 and destination storage type as 916.

the usual way to remove quants from 916 is by cancellation of the picking, which is done with LT0G transaction.
if the delivery is already goods issued, then you have to use LT01 to move the quants.
The positive quant of 30 quantity can be moved to the place where it phyiscally is.
the negative quant can only be eliminated by moving a quantity from a positive quant onto it. You should have a positive quant of this material in any bin of your warehouse. so you move from this bin to 916.

Stock transfer between plants without STO and storage locations

Hi.
In case of stock transfer betwen storage locations with one step it is possible to do stock transfer between different stock types. But in Two step it is only possible to do stock transfer from unrestricted to unrestricted.
In case of Stock transfer between Plants without STO in one and two step stock transfer, it is possible to do stock transfer from unrestricted to unrestricted.
Is there any reason for this?

Stock transfer with incorrect price from MRP

I have material with special procurement 40 (MRP2 view).
Special procurement is for stock transfer from other plant.
When I run MRP with MD03 transaction, PR for transfer is created, but value price (EBAN-PREIS) is incorrect since that Value price is obteined from target plant, instead should be obteined from supplying (issing) plant.
Therefore when I create PR manually with ME51N transaction, value price is obteined from supplying plant.
I have ECC 6.0 wtith Support Package SAPKH60407 installed.
Does anyone can help me?

Bit rusty on SAP transactions.
If I have stock in a 'Differences' Storage Type (non-SU) that I want to bring back into storage on 30 different SU's is this possible?
Other than one by one using LT01. Can I use LT04 in some way?

Storage Bin for Interim Storage Type 902 for GR

Hi,
We know that the the dynamic storage bin for goods receipt for PO is the PO number. However, when we are posting GR, system creates TR with interim storage bin as material document number.
I looked into the movement type config. However, we can only state that whether interim bin should be cordinates or fixed bin or dynamic bin. It has no way to mention what that dynamic bin would be.
Can you please suggest a way to change the dynamic storage bin as PO number instead of material document number.

2 Step Stock Transfer Using WM Transport Order??

Dear SAP expertes,
I have a problem, I think a lot of you too; that is stock transfer in 2 steps from one storage location to another (mov. types 313-315), but using o referencing a reservation.
SAP says that is not possible create reservations for 2 step stock transfer in MM, but also says use "Stock Transfer Orders" instead, that means use module WM.
Do anyone could transfer stock from one storage location to another using WM Stock Transfer Orders? I tried, but couldn't make it. In anyone have documention to do this I will appreciate it a lot.

I was checking SAP Note "28692 - MMIM: Reservation for a two-step stock transfer", and you were right, they say "Use the stock transport order instead of the stock transfer reservation".
I confused with WM stock tranfer order, but I want to ask you if you have used UB transport order between storage location of the same plant?
