Stolen ipod + how to download photos on my new ipod

Hi my ipod number 4J506Q80PS9 was stolen from my rugsack on a bus in London. Is it possible you could relocate it.
Forget it, I dont think its possible.
I bought another ipod 4J531833TDS, but am unable to download photos. It keeps giving me an error message [-36].
Can someone please help.
Thanks
Juliana

First, I wouldn't post the serial numbers in the post itself...just say that you lost an iPod Shuffle, whoever says they've found one, you have them tell you the serial number.
Second, I'd post the second question in the iPod Photo forum. You'll get more help there.

  • How to download photo's to ipod

I have no idea how to download photo's to my ipod. I know its capable but i dont know where to start. If anyone know how to get me started it would be much appreciated.

Kuuipo, OK...sync your iPod with your computer. When iTunes comes up and recognizes your iPod, you should see a button in the shape of an iPod in the bottom right corner of the iTunes window. Click on that button. This will bring up your iPod preferences. In there you will find commands on transfering your photos to your pod. Make sure your photos are in some folder where you can easily find them, like of course... "My Pictures".
    Any problems...reply back.
    Good Luck!

    Hi Asanyasir,
If you are trying to download your pictures from Photo Stream, you may want to look at this article -
    iCloud: Shared Photo Streams FAQ
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5903
    In particular this section -
Can photos be saved or downloaded from a shared photo stream?
Yes. After photos are shared, anyone who can view the shared stream can download and keep them permanently.
On a compatible iOS device, you can save photos to the Camera Roll. On a Mac, using iPhoto 9.4 or Aperture 3.4 or later, you can save photos from the shared stream to your local Photo Library or any other location on your Mac. On a Windows PC, you can copy photos from a shared photo stream to any folder. On the web, photos can be downloaded directly to your computer from the detail view of each photo.
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

fb or icloud download images click on the shared section in the sidebar. choose facebook or icloud flickr etc whichever you need.
Then forget selecting all images and looking for an import method, because even if you click on the adjustments tab of the sidebar, it will only import one of the images selected (!!!! yep, stupid).
So, you can now celebrate the fact that you will have to go round and round importing each of your thousands of FB photos individually. Happy importing hope you dont grow to be 79 years old before you finish.
Inc ase someone blames it on FB admin permissions, it isn't, because its the same problem with icloud shared streams.

Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps.

Is there a I photo App I am not seeing ?

Yes, normally you would connect your iPhone to your Mac via the USB connection. After iTunes has finished its sync, then you launch iPhoto - a separate application which should be in your Applications folder.
After a brief pause, your iPhone should then show up as a device in iPhoto. Select the iPhone in the list and the photos on your iPhone appear. You then choose which photos you want to download to iPhoto on your Mac.

  • How to download photos from 8330 Curve?

    Hi,
I am a new user and do not know how to download photos from a 8330 Curve.  Can anyone advise on this?  Thanks a lot.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    IrwinII,
The mass storage mode only works with a media card on the Curve. I think the Bold is the only phone that can have the internal drive work in mass storage mode.
You can use Roxio Media Manager (dowload Blackberry Desktop Manager with Media Manager if you don't have it). See this link for a demo.

    Hello kmidgette,
It sounds like you would like to use the Photo Stream function of your iCloud account. This article will help you get photo stream set up.
    iCloud: Set up Photo Stream

If you were looking for more of a backup solution take a look at this info:
Does using My Photo Stream substitute for using iCloud Backup or iTunes to back up the photos in my Camera Roll ?
No. Photos in My Photo Stream are saved on the iCloud server for 30 days. To save or back up these photos, you must copy them from My Photo Stream to your Camera Roll on your iOS device. You can then back up your Camera Roll using iCloud or iTunes.

  • How to download photos and albums to PSE10

How to download photos and albums to PSE10?

Photoshop.com sharing and storage has been discontinued, and therefore Elements 10 can no longer communicate with it. If you allowed migration, then your photos should be safely stored in Revel and you can login using the same username and password you used in photoshop.com to see them. Revel does not have connectivity with Elements 10. Elements 11 is the first version of Elements that can communicate with Revel.
