Stolen phone replaced by Apple store
What should I do if my stolen phone was replaced under warranty by an Apple store even after informing and cancelling my protection plan. The phone was blocked by service provider as it was stolen but the thief managed to replace it for a brand new phone? My stolen phone is with the store now.
The store refused and said that they have dispatched the phone to their Europe centre....Police says as the phone is in Europe so outside their jurisdiction..... i have written several emails to apple customer care but no body cares to response.....i didn't even get a refund of the apple protection plan I cancelled immediately after my phone was stolen.... pls suggest

I'm assuming you can..now I don't know the prices for your area, you'll have to check around, I just did a quick web search and I'm pulling all sorts of prices up, I'd look into a repair facility near you and see what they can do for you :-) shouldn't be too expensive though! Good luck!

BUying the phone form the Apple store vs the phone store
Is there any advantage to buying the phone from the Apple store vs the ATT people? I found with my Treo the ATT folks don't know much about it and also didn't offer any insurance for it either!
There used to be a huge difference. AT&T would let you order, while would make you come and stand in line. With the 3GS, Apple allowed pre-orders.
Now, there is no difference. If you are the only person on your account, it is pretty simple to set it up. If you have multiple cell phones on your accounts, it may be better to let ATT set it up to handle the complexity. (But either way, you can call AT&T 1-800 number to resolve any issues.)

Can I still get the 1gb promotion if I but my phone from the Apple Store?
Both phone s on my account have been up for upgrade for about 6 months now. We currently have the 700 family share plan. We want to upgrade at least one of the phones to the Iphone 6 and switch plans to the more everything plan. But none of the verizon wireless stores have the phone in stock. The Apple store does. So, can I get the promotion of the extra 1gb a month when activating a new 2 yr contract with smart phone, if I Purchase the phone from the apple store, so I can get my phone today instead of later this month ?

I updated to a new phone. The Apple store set it up, but I still don't have service.

Contact the carrier that provided the SIM to see if there is an issue with your account.

I have a mid 2009 13'' MBP. I got the battery replaced in Apple store, It then stopped displaying the battery status LED.
After some months of use my MBP died outside USA. I got it checked in Apple verfied Service centre and was told that logic board was faulty.
After I came back to US I took my MBP to Apple store and was told that there is liquid damage in the system. My question is that if there was liquid damage why did my MBP stop displaying the battery status right after the battery was changed secondly why didnt the apple verified Service centre tell me that there was liquid damage afterall I paid them the money for diagnosing the problem.
Is there a process i can followup on this problemThese are question you would need to ask that service center.

I want to get my phone unlocked. It is a replacement handset that I got from the Apple Store but my carrier says that it is not listed with them.

What sort of phone are the Apple Store replacement phones?
When I originally got my iPhone 4 a few years ago, I had a pixel die on two, and I took them to the Apple Store; they replaced them (for free) with phones that were wrapped in the plastic protectors, but in a box wholly different from the actual iPhone 4 box. Maybe it was my imagination, but both my replacement phones seemed... loose or rattle-ey, if you will, though they worked just fine and looked new, nevertheless. Anyway, jumpy to today: I got my iPhone 6 in the mail but it had a scratch on the screen. I took it to the Apple Store and they replaced it, yet again, with a phone in the normal plastic protective sleeve and in a box not like the one the phone comes in. Maybe I'm crazy, but this one rattles too. I can't put my hand on it, but the replacement phone's feel different than the phones that came right out of a factory sealed box.
Does anyone know where the replacement phones come from? Are they refurbished phones? Or are they separately shipped new phones held in-stock just for replacements? I'm curious to know.Oh yeah, I know. When I bought my MacBook it was a refurbished from the site, and it was absolutely perfect---same as my Apple TV... it came flawless... looked new! But every "replacement" phone I've gotten from an Apple Store, rattles and seems... "rebuilt", if you will. I realize a refurbished is rebuilt, but this phone doesn't have the feel or quality of a real new phone. It's not solid. It feels like something someone lazily repaired it at another tech store. I guess I'll go back up there tomorrow...

If the speaker failure is a manufacturing defect and not due to damage (dropping it, moisture exposure) there will be no charge. Make a Genius Bar appointment at your closest Apple Store.

Apple's one year limited warranty covers hardware... not physical damage!

IPhone replaced at Apple store
My phone's battery wasn't lasting very long like I thought it should. I rarely used it and the battery would just drain. So today I went to the Apple store and after telling them what the phone was doing the guy said to the one helping me to just give me a new one. I couldn't be more pleased with the service from apple so far. Hopefully this one will last longer than my last.
Oh, if it helps I bought my first phone on the 19th of November. So just over a month old and had to get a new one.You should take it right back to the Genius Bar. After they fix or replace it, make sure you can text, call and use all the functions before you leave the store.

Recover original phone imei after cell phone replacement by apple
I had my iphone replaced an year ago in apple store, now I want to unlock my phone and I called to my carrier. They asked me for the original phone imei but I don't have it anymore, as I don't have it any longer and I don't have the box and anything, is there anyway to get it?
ThanksHave an old backup of this phone still stored on your computer? Look iTunes>Preferences>Devices...if one is listed, hover your mouse pointer over the name of the backup & a popup will appear showing SN & IMEI number. Also, if you setup a support profile, with Apple, you can login & see if the old phone is still listed. If no backup, or support profile, you can "try" calling AppleCare...they should have a record of the exchange & perhaps can supply you with the IMEI number.

I have an ATT corporate account. Can I get a phone at the Apple store?
I have an ATT corporate account. My contract is set up so my account is fully serviceable at Retail stores. I went to ATT store on launch day, waited 45 minutes, got to the counter and low and behold the salesperson says they cannot access anything on my account.The screen is grayed out. So I leave disappointed. I call ATT Business Dept and they say that there is no restriction and I should have been able to buy a phone. I went back to the ATT store today and the same sales person gets business dept on line, checks the computer and it shows I can buy any phone including the iphone they are now out of. He has no explanation. I should have made him call yesterday. I ordered one from my Premier website but need another one. Can I get one from my local Apple Store that has phones in stock or will they shut me out as well??
Kenal0You can not get an iPhone at Apple with a corporate account. You have to go to an ATT store to do that. Also- your data is going to cost 45 dollars instead of 30 dollars with a corporate account.
If you try to get an iPhone at an Apple store and you have a corporate account, it will kick your registration out of the Apple computers and they won't even be able to complete the sales portion of the transaction. -
IPod touch 5th generation (replacement from Apple Store) - yellow tinted screen
